Chapter 15th

It was two weeks later when Loki arrived back on Earth with the results of the cloud seeding and vaccines. Using the cell-phone that was given to him by Mulder if and when he arrived back.

It was the very same area of the backyard of the house that the forcefield had dragged in William and the others. The parents and Melissa greeting Loki to come inside their house for refreshments. He will advise them of the truth of the matter for when it comes to his home planet.

"Loki is everything alright?" Melissa had to asked with the question offering a glass of water for him.

"Everything is fine. General Wilcox's cloud seeding program was a huge success with the ozone levels turning back to normal to cut out the radiation. Even the three formulas worked with half the population has been given the vaccine to stop the radiation poison in those given the vaccine. Even my wife 's radiation cancer has been destroyed with no damage to the unborn fetus."

"Since it was a success Loki. Are you planning on staying on your planet after all?" John asked to be the parent taken by his race.

"We are John. However I will need to inform Special Agent Fox Mulder of the F.B.I. that I won't be coming back. But we are offering one human to come stay with us for which this human will have one year too stay before coming back here."

"I can already assume that it might be William on whether he will like to make that decision or any others on this planet."

It was moments later that Loki dialed Mulder's number having to be two a.m. in the morning when he picked up the phone unable to sleep.

"Mulder this is Loki I am back on your planet for 24 hours. Listen I know that you probably know why I am here. General Wilcox's cloud seeding and the three vaccines worked to save our population and including my wife with the unborn child. Listen I need to talk with William with a offer. Is he up or sleeping?"

"I will wake him since it's really important. I will call you back in a few moments Loki." Mulder had to say with William hearing the conversation.

"Dad, I will talk with Loki. I suggest that you wake mother as well with a decision I will need to make." Mulder handed the phone to his son William while he went upstairs to wake Scully probably knowing about the truth.

After talking with Loki for a few moments. He told Loki that he will need to discuss it with his parents and with giving him an hour to call back.

Both Mulder and Scully were sitting downstairs when William was explaining the wonderful of one year to help his population further. After a year is up he will be able to come back to Earth. "What do you think?" He had to say with the offer by Loki.

"For myself William, I think it's just wonderful in order for you to help these people with a real cause. And you don't have any of your powers in doing so." Mulder had to say on the subject.

However for Scully, she will agree as well that her son won't have to run away from anyone. He was going to be helping a race that really needs it badly. "William I love you. But is is a great cause for all of us and Loki is offering this special gift. I think that you should go and come back with stories to tell within the year. By that time this new child will be able to greet his brother." Scully had to say on the subject even though it was hard to let him go.

"Very well mother and father, I will call Loki that I am accepting his gift with flying out in the morning with the available flight to greet him and his spacecraft."

Moments later he was on the phone calling Loki with the phone given to him. Right away he answered the phone from inside the house with the parents and Melissa listening.

"Go ahead William what is your answer on the request?" Loki said to him over the phone.

"I have decided to come with you with the gift given to me. My parents think it's a wonderful idea as well to try and help your people. I will be taking out the next available flight to meet with you, Loki. I will call you when I land. I will be able to rent a vehicle."

"No you don't William. I will have Melissa's parents to come and pick you up at the airport. Just to be sure to call. See you soon my friend."

Mulder had called the airport to see what was next available flight to Texas. His answer was two hours for American airlines flight 562A.

Both Mulder and Scully dressed quickly to drive their son to the airport. Even though could feel that his mother was on the verge of crying. However she did control herself knowing that her son was doing a good thing after all.

Making it on time for the flight at the terminal just about empty. William kissed him mother on her cheek as with shaking his father's hand.

"Listen I will be back in a year or sooner. I promise to make sure to help the best I could with Loki and his people. It's something I always wanted to do in the first place."

"Make sure you send a message to let us know that you arrived safe and sound William." Mulder needed to asked with Scully wanting to get something to eat before heading back to the house to sleep.

"I will father." As he walked through the area to catch his flight with the stewardess taking his ticket information. He disappeared...

Scully started to cry finally having to be happy that her son was going to be helping out an alien race after they had saved him with removing of his powers.

William was picked up at the airport having called Loki to let him know that his flight had landed.

As he arrived later at the house. Loki asked William on whether he was ready to go with him now into the backyard.

"Please give me a moment so that I can tell my parents that I am ready to leave for your spacecraft. He pulled out his phone to text the message to his father and Mother...

MOM/DAD Ready to head for the spacecraft with Loki. I feel wonderful with my decision. Please don't be sad...Love William. He sent off the text message telling Loki he was ready to go.

"Shall we then William." The two of them headed for the forcefield of the year to bring them inside to the communications center with disappearing...and their new journey...
