hey guys i know i said i would skip an update this week but i could stop thinking about how Leo/Hanta would do to this specific team so hear it is. Izuku will be next. And we are coming closer to where this story will start to introduce its own plot.
Nurses Office
"-and that ladies is my part of the story." Nezu finished her story of not only her origins but her escape from THAT facility.
"So you were trained by a ninja? And using those skills escaped experimentation but not before receiving that whole situation." Aizawa 'tactfully' gesturing to Nezu's scar not believing that a MALE rat standing 6'2" existed and also had a scar on the opposite eye of her boss. Instead she believed her boss was projecting the loss of one of her kin or the unconfirmed passing of that Hamato guy in her story.
"That doesn't cover your brother or these boys Nezu." Complained Recovery-Girl swinging her cane threateningly.
"That is his story to tell, not mine." Responded Nezu now looking to the right of Aizawa.
"I had no idea I was popular topic." A deep baritone voice emanating from the man sipping his tea and sitting in a chair next to Aizawa….. wait.
"Who are you?" She demanded prepping her capture gear. How did this giant white rat sneak….up…..on… her, oh. Oh, snap her boss wasn't projecting. That'll teach her for thinking too rationally.
"Ah, Splinter I see you've made yourself at home. In my school. Without a Visitors Pass. Again." With each observation I tick mark on Nezus head began grow in size. Usually Splinter would sneak in at night to raid her collection of teas from across the globe. While she couldn't out right prove it was him he always left a calling card, a shuriken with a Japanese bell flower etched into it wherever he had snuck in from. He is the reason U.A. now has cameras.
"I thought he was going to be a regular rat like you were?" Turning too Splinter "Would you mind if do a quick checkup on you? Nezu had said you would be coming back from a retreat out in wilds. Need to make sure you're didn't bring anything harmful back." RG asked Splinter.
Before he could answer the door opened allowing the transport-bots to enter and set Denki and Katsumi on the beds. Splinter rushed over to his smallest son.
"My son, what has happened to you?" Stroking his hair in concern. Recovery-Girl nudged him back slightly so she could apply her Quirk after which Denki fell asleep.
"WHAT THE HE-"
Whack
"No foul language in this room missy." Recovery-Girl warned after rapping her can on Bakugo's head then quickly kissed her as well making Katsumi pass-out as well.
Observation room.
"The MVP for the battle is….Kyouka Jiro. Who here can tell me why?" Izuku heard Yagi ask as he, Jiro, and Tenya entered the observation room. Without thinking he answered her question.
"Bakugo and Denki both let their personal grudges come before the mission that was set before them. That can get people killed out in the field. Tenya here," He began nudging his head towards Tenya now on his wrist computer. "drifted slightly into anti-hero territory." Izuku finished glaring down at the purple clad brother. Said brother who just so happens to be planing updates to Denki's next Battle-Shell. He suddenly could feel the disapproval from his big brother figure. His goggles lifted from over his eyes as he looked up to Izuku.
"She made fun of my eyebrows." He stated sending a list of items that will be needed to Mei so she can start the new model shell and another list to Melissa so she can design more durable jumpsuits.
"That's no excuse. Pops taught us better than that. You know the punishment for loosing your cool during a battle. The Great Pizza Supreme only knows how many times I had to do it." Izuku shuddered remembering all the flips he has done just last month alone.
"That's not fair! What about Denki?"
"He will be punished after he heals. Now go. 10 flips." Tenya exhaled sharply as he made for the furthest wall. Doing a back hand spring and landing with a clap Tenya started to call out the number of flips.
Yaoyorozu was impressed with his assessment of the fights and his reprimanding of his brother for he was right losing control of your emotions can get others hurt or even killed.
"While he does that let's start the next fight with….Team J vs….Team B"
Villain Team
"So what's the game plan, Sports Master?" Hanta asked using the first of many new nicknames, resting his ōdachi on his shoulder.
"We need a plan?" Kirishima asked slapping his mask in place.
"Wow, the similarities between you and Izuku is scary."
Izuku's plans have always been on the fly maneuvers that lasted just long enough to luck out in the end. "I love it!" Hanta gushed.
With a smirk Eijiro tossed several pucks around the room while Hanta scanned the room of the new building they're now in for hiding spots.
"Start!" Shortly after the signal the room began to freeze over. Hanta jabbed his sword into the ground and stood on its hilt. Kirishima did similar drawing both hickey sticks. With a mighty swing he lodged the blade of his goalie stick into a pillar before following the momentum to jump onto the protruding shaft.
"Ohmigosh, she froze the room." The words escaping Hanta's mouth came out in awed whisper as his wide eyes slowly took in the thin layers of ice all around them. Looking to the tip of the sword he noticed it partially frozen to the floor.
"I don't think it's just this room. On the bright side ice skate function activate." Kirishima said while pushing one of two buttons on his boots. The frames that appeared to keep in-line swung down revealing a second frame holding the wheels while the first frame swung in place under his boots creating ice skates.
Jumping down Kirishima dislodged his goalie stick and put it away. Quickly unloading the rest of his pucks and tossing them about Kirishima readied himself. As Kirishima was setting up for a frontal assault Hanta threw four kunai into the wall above the door. The noise of Kirishima aggressively skating around and throwing down pucks was enough cover the sound from Shoji. Jumping from his sword to the kunai, two for his feet and two for his hands, they waited. 'Blind Spot.' He thought to himself.
The wait wasn't long as the door opened. Shōko confidently waltz in smirk in place ready to declare herself the winner. Until she noticed Kirishima standing in the middle of the room doted in small black discs.
"Ice to see you again." Kirishima quickly slapped a puck to strike Shōko between the eyes. The ice pillar erupting from the ground on Todoroki's right side cut that plan short. Catching the puck inches away from its mark.
Hanta waited above Todoroki from his make shift perch pulling the capture tape out and prepped to pounce.
"Ninja sneak attack!" He yelled falling onto Todoroki.
"Goongala!" Kirishima yelled dropping an elbow into the big ball of violence. Shards of ice and metal shuriken flew from the comical fight cloud while one of Kirishima's boots flew out and almost hit the camera the class was watching through.
Observation room.
Izuku was found rubbing the bridge of his nose from the lack of discipline that has been shown from his brothers so far chances are his own fight will end up as nothing more than slap-stick comedy that took karate classes on the weekends. He could practically hear Hanta announcing his attack from here.
"Pfft-HAHAHAH. I thought that was just in cartoons." Melissa said from the floor between her peals of laughter Hagakure and Mina not far behind in the merriment.
Izuku used glare: Melissa is unaffected.
Kōda had glanced over to him. When Izuku looked to her his annoyance still colored his face as he wore a slight scowl.
Poor Kōda might as well have been looking at six foot tall insect with the way she hid herself behind Sato. Sato herself looked over to Izuku seeing her partner trying to use her as a hiding spot.
"You okay big guy?" She asked tentatively after really noticing how much bigger he was than her and the scowl. I mean common she herself stood at 6'1" and this guy still had several inches on her, not to mention the amount of muscle he carried.
"Yeah." He monotoned. Excitement filled his eyes as he watched Hanta with the help of Kirishima tie their first opponent up. "Now things are getting interesting."
"Shōko Todoroki is out."
Shoji
Shoji didn't need the announcement she could hear the scuffling from outside thanks to the use of her Quirk. Now she's in a dilemma she could go in and possibly wind up like her partner by walking into a trap or she could forfeit.
Okay that last part wasn't an option no self respecting hero would give up when the odds are stacked against them. I just need a plan. She thought to herself transforming her tentacles into ears again to gage the location of the villain team. She could Kirishima skating around again likely circling Todoroki like a vulture to ensure no rescue would be easy. Not hearing Hanta she assumed he was standing still again concentrating and taking a few steps closer to the building she listened for if he would slip up and make a sound.
"What are you doin?" Whispered a voice.
"I'm listening for Sero." She replied.
"Did you find him?"
"Not yet bu….." turning around Shoji's eyes widened slightly for standing only ten feet away leaning on a different building was the blue masked ninja himself giant smirk in place as he gazed at the building in front of him. One hand over his eye for shade while the other lazily held the ōdachi. "How? I should have heard you." She said turning her Dupli-Arms into well….arms.
"Ancient ninja secret."
Flashback
After the scuffle with Shōko, Hanta pulled the sword from the ice. As if he were King Arthur himself.
"You should give up you cannot sneak up on my partner. Her Quirk prevents that." Shōko said calmly now kneeling in the middle of the room.
Motioning for Kirishima to come closer Hanta whispered a plan into his ears. Kirishima picked Hanta up and skated over behind the bomb for the perfect blind spot from both Todoroki and the cameras.
When the boys disappeared behind the bomb Shōko saw a blue flash before Kirishima came from around the weapon by himself and continued to circle the room.
Sero had created a portal to the building across the street away from active cameras.
Present
Crouching low Hanta shot off low and to the right of Shoji.
"Ninja sword dash!"
Bringing her left arms down in a flurry of punches she met the broad side of his sword with two fists while a third nailed him in the cheek. His momentum bowled the two hero in training over, Shoji was the one to catch her footing first and without wasting time stood to full while her right arms grabbed Hanta by the top of the carapace to hold him in the air.
"La-la-lame!" Exclaimed Sero pushing his foot into her face struggling to get out of her grip, one arm swinging his sword out to keep any more punches away while the other tried peel her fingers off. "Well at least I'm in rang for a Hamato Style: THREE STAR HURRICA-WOAH!" Hanta yelped as Shoji pushed the locking mechanism on his shell. Plucking him out she slammed Blue into the pavement before jumping high and dropping several elbows at once.
If what she overheard was true than Sero must have been similarly trained as Kaminari and if the orange masked kick was anything to go by she didn't want to let Sero use his own power move.
Observation Room
The class erupted into laughter as Shoji dangled Hanta in the air.
"That's what you get, for not taking it seriously!" Izuku said seeing the elbow(s) drop after snatching All-Might's microphone. Yaoyorozu quickly took it away from Izuku and handed back to All-Might.
"I know you feel he needs to be reprimanded but it can wait until the match is over."
"Do you know how many times I've had to tell that boy to take his spars seriously." Izuku replied back. The few girls in class that were lucky enough to have a dad started to compare the two classmates to a married couple bickering about how to punish their child.
Shoji vs Hanta
Shoji had just tossed Hanta into the wall of the building housing the other participants of the exercise.
"Give up. I have all of your tools." Shoji tried to negotiate holding up Hanta's blue pouch, sword, and his battle-shell. Shoji had been mildly shocked by the weight of the body armor.
"Yeah but you don't hang have my awesome ninja skills." Hanta re-adjusted his crooked mask.
Now being free of of his battle-shell and the training weights he and his brothers wore under their clothes Blue could feel the difference. He felt as light as a feather and as fast as a really fast feather.
Taking full advantage of his lack of added weight Hanta dashed for the duplicating Quirk user at greater speeds.
Shoji quickly abandoned the pilfered items to chain her her Quirk to give her longer reach than she had before.
'Common Sero you can do this. Remember the air fist Master taught you.' Shoji tidal wave of crashed against the deceitfully powerful forearms. 'Part the clouds." Pushing arms away like a crane spreading it wing Hanta hunched forward arms swirling around. 'Gather the fallen air.' The air itself became visible between Blues arms. 'And finally…'
"FREE THE CHICKEN!"
"Free the wha…"
FWOOSH
A fist made of air hit Shoji in chest and pushing her into the across the street.
"IT WORKED!?" He yelled throwing his hands in the air.
Observation Room
"You can't sit there and tell me that he doesn't have a Quirk!" Tokoyami slightly raged to Tenya.
"He doesn't. I'll assume Izuku has told you all about the four styles of Hamato. The technique being used here is part of the speed skill set. Rotating his limbs at high speeds allowed Hanta to compress the immediate air around him and launch it."
"Wow you guys are like those ninjas from Naru…" before Mina could finish her sentence she had a tech-bō and a tonfa aimed at her.
"We don't liked to be compared to that." Izuku spoke.
"Hey look stuff is happening." Mina used distraction: it was very effective.
Shoji
Who yelled free the chicken in the middle of a fight? She asked herself wryly watching Hanta. Seeing her opponent eye his sword she made the decision to end it here and now.
Leaping with all her strength she made to land onto and ensnare Sero in her arms where capture tape will be waiting as well. She almost had him Before Hanta dashed to the wall behind Shoji leaping into a flip so the balls of his feet would set up up for a speedy tackle.
Jumping from the wall left a crater behind; Hanta's trajectory had him inbound to slide under Mezo.
'Hook the leg.' Sero's elbow joint hooked onto Shoji's ankle rising with his momentum Hanta rose to his and lifted Her leg as far as he could making her fall onto her back.
When Mezo opened her eyes she was eyeing the ōdachi centimeters away from her.
"Villain Team: Wins."
Nurse's Office
It was now Hanta's turn to visit RG. He had walked their without aid of the robots as his injuries were not as severe as Orange's had been but Tenya did decide to tag along to checkup on Denki.
"Hey, Dad. What are you doing here?" Sero asked taking the seat his father figure had vacated for him. RG used her Quirk and gave him a few candies.
"Something I have picked while on my journey." Splinter answered his grave tone setting a heavy atmosphere for those in the room and conscious.
"Of what Splinter?" The Principal asked her fur standing on end at her brothers reply. Reaching into his robes Splinter produced a piece of ripped cloth. Unfolding the cloth he showed everyone the clan seal embroidered on it.
An average human foot print colored in orange.
"They are still alive sister." Nezu had dropped her cup of tea. Tenya and Hanta looked confused and Aizawa and RG suspicious of the tense atmosphere the symbol produced from Splinter. 'its just a foot.'
"Is this supposed to mean something?" Tenya asked.
"I will explain when Izuku arrives."
Let me know who you want to have been MVP for that fight and why if you want to.
