3. Chapter 3

Chapter 3

As the idiot Ron was, he didn't notice the Burrow was on fire. Molly had left in a rush, forgetting to turn the stove off, starting a fire. As the other boys were still outside, no one noticed when the Burrow burned to the ground, nor when their youngest brother burned to death.

When the older Weasley boys (Ginny had gone to visit Luna) turned to the house, Bill let out a string of cuss words. Fred and George looked at their older brother with a look of shock and admiration, before grabbing Bill and disapparated to the Ministry of Magic.

Upon arrival, they met their Dad by the door.

Harry and Hermione Potter were arguing about... last names? "Harry I've told you a thousand times, if we are soulmates, which we are, my last name is going to stay Potter!" The new Lady Potter was arguing with her soulmate. "I know Mia, but what will everyone say? I don't want you to have the burden of the media on you, not to mention that if news get out that we are soulmates, you could get hurt!" Harry Potter responded.

Before Hermione had a chance to respond, Luna Lovegood walked out of the Potter Villa floo in Greece (where the two mates were staying), without her dreamy expression (she actually looked quite mad), as she exclaimed "Hermione Jean Potter, you better tell me where you were this afternoon, you didn't meet me in the forest to look for wild kneazles!"

Hermione looked at her younger friend with a look of shock, as Luna continued her rant with how she had to keep up the dreamy-ness when Ginny had knocked on her door, only to talk about Harry, and how she had to lie when Ginny asked about the Gringott letter that said how Hermione and Harry were officially married and that Harry was classified as a magical citizen. Harry cut her off, asking her to sit down on the rug. He started to explain.

"This morning, we had gone to Diagon Alley to go clothe shopping. Mia and I stopped by Gringotts for money, and for a new key to my vault. My account manager GoldenHook asked me why I never responded to mail, so I explained I never got any mail. GoldenHook explained to me about what my mail has been for the past 15 years. He then told me how since my name came of the Goblet last year, I'm considered an adult in the wizarding world."

Luna looked very confused about this, and so Harry explained.

"When my name came out of the Goblet, I was bound to a magical contract. Only people 17 or older can sign a contract like that." Harry got a look of brief annoyance, before going back into his story.

"With me being an 'adult' in the wizarding world, I can claim my titles as Lord. GoldenHook told me I had to take a ancestor test so I did." At this Harry took out a piece of parchment.
