Hey all! For those that have been following me and this story, you may know that this fic has gone inactive, and for that I am truly sorry. Among things in real life that has slowed my progress, there has been another major project that I and four other writers have been collaborating on which I am excited to share with you all when it is ready.
But for the real announcement at hand, after some discussion with my beta reader, I've decided to begin the process of rewriting War Torn Souls. There are many factors that played into this: An evolving writing style, a better plan for the story, and to address some of the issues that he has pointed out to me with my existing chapters. This does not mean that the overall story will be entirely changed, most of it will remain the same. What will change is the way the story is executed, with a much more concrete plan in place on where I want to take it and what things that I want to cover.
Most importantly, the rewrite will take place in a new fic entry, and this one will be left up to preserve what I have done here. It shows where I started, how I improved over the year that I have been writing, and the new entry will show where I will grow.
In all, I hope everyone will enjoy the coming rewritten chapters and that you will stick with me as I slowly type out this fic.
