Chapter 2:

"Because… I am pregnant"

" WHAT!" Goku yelled in shock. "Congratulations Bulma, you are going to make a beautiful mother." Goku genuinely smiled at her which made her smile. "But what did he hit you for?" Goku asked in confusion. "This is a happy moment."

" He didn't hit me today, this is an old mark." Bulma informed Goku as she subconsciously moved her hand to the side of her face.

"Old mark?" Goku paused. "Has he been beating." Goku asked, trying to control his anger.

Bulma only nodded, which set Goku off. He felt his power level creeping up and his anger bubble over. "Damn that Vegeta. He better not come back." Goku clenched his fist and took a deep breath to lower his power level. He knew at this moment, Bulma was going to need her friends, and he would be there for her. "How far along are you?

"I am about 3 months, but I made an appointment with our family doctor two days from now." Bulma stated as she sat back down on the bed.

"Well, Me and Chichi will go with you." Goku stated as he sat beside her.

"Oh you don't have too. Chichi warned me about having him here but I didn't listen." Bulma did a sarcastic chuckle.

"We will, we are your friends. We are here to help you." Goku stated as he placed his hand on her shoulder to console her.

"Thanks Goku, you are always here for me. Thank you." Bulma smiled and reached out to touch his hand. "You better get going, it's getting late. I don't want Chi to be mad at you."

"She will be okay, she barely wants me at home anyways." Goku stated sadly. "Do you want me to spend the night with you?"

"Oh, that will be too much. I don't want you to get in trouble." Bulma exclaimed.

"Oh, I won't, I just got to tell her what is going on and I will be back okay. " Goku stood up and disappeared in a matter of seconds.

"That Goku, he knows how to make someone feel special." Bulma thought to herself. She slowly stood and went to take a shower, waiting for Goku to return.

~Mt. Paozu~

"Hey Chi. Where are you?" Goku yelled, looking around the house.

"Goku! I'm here, why are you yelling?" She yelled as she ran down the steps with a robe on.

"Oh, my bad." Goku stated and looked at his wife. He noticed that her face was flushed and her hair was out of its normal bun. "What were you doing Chi?" He asked as he stepped closer and smelled another man on her.

"What .. what do you mean?" Chichi stuttered, trying to close her robe up.

"You smell like another man." He stated as he stare in her eyes without blinking.

"Goku, you and your nose. It's a new bath solution I used." Chichi waved him off, trying to move away from him.

Goku grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer to him. "I'm not as dumb as you think I am and I am not as nice as you think I am especially when someone pisses me off." Goku cracked his neck and looked at his wife again. "Now, Chi…. what were you doing?"

Chichi jerked her hand away, " Okay, you caught me. I've been having an affair with another man."

"Who is it?" Goku asked, looking around trying to focus on any energy in the house.

" Why do you need to know." She yelled but then took a step back once she noticed the vein popping out of Goku's head.

"Chi… I know that smell. Is it Yamcha?" Goku asked. When he saw that she was silent, he took it as a yes. "So you decided to cheat on me after all these years?"

"Goku, you are always fighting, leaving me alone." Chichi stated, trying to defend her actions.

"Chichi, I died defending the earth. I don't go fighting just for nothing. And then you cheat on me with my friend Yamcha." Goku yelled. "Where is our son?"

"He is at his grandpa's house." Chichi stated. "I want a divorce." She stated proudly.

"Oh don't worry, you can get one. Actually I died once, so that technically means that our marriage has dissolved a long time ago." Goku stated as he walked past her to go upstairs.

Chichi's eyes widened as she ran to grab his arm. "What do you need upstairs?"

"I'm getting some clothes, I am staying at capsule corp. I came here to tell you that Vegeta has been beating Bulma and that we need to be there for her. I was going to spend the night to keep watch. I told her that we were going to go to her doctor's appointment but…. Never mind that plan. Why do you ask? Is Yamcha hiding up there?" He laughed.

"What is so funny?" She stated with frustration in her voice.

He moved his arm away from Chichi and walked up the stairs. He went to their room and grabbed a bag and grabbed some clothes.

"You cheat on me with a weakling like Yamcha. I can feel his energy shaking in the bathroom." Goku looked at his wife and walked towards her. "He is so weak, that if I kiss you right now. He won't do anything about it." Goku grabbed his ex wife and kissed her. "Look" Goku laughed. "No, Yamcha. Do you think he will protect you like I did?" Goku asked, shaking his head. "I'm not going to lie Chi, this hurts but it's your choice. Just know I will always love you as the mother of my son. I will be around for our son and I hope you are able to live with your choice." Goku stated at Chichi, and slung his bag over his shoulder. His wife stood silently as he left before tears fell from his eyes.

"Is he gone?" Yamcha asked as he crept out the bathroom.

"Yea." She rolled her eyes.

Yamcha left out the bathroom and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Good. He took it better than I expected." He stated as he went to lay on the bed.

"I guess he did. " Chichi stated sadly as she stared at the window.
