A few weeks went by, Harry watched units of the guard being moved throughout the empire, they were given a no-quarter, which according to Sara meant that they were allowed to kill the rogue demons without taking prisoners.

Life at the estate was returning to normal, if there were a minimum amount of guards shadowing Maria and Sesshomaru. Sara and Noriko were shadowing Harry's every move. The young prince noticed that even his siblings were armed, Alison never went anywhere without her daggers, which were hidden either in her legs of her jeans or her sleeves, or her hair. Yasha wore his daggers openly, whenever he ventured out of the estate, as he was the Heir. Keiko was with Maria, who never let the youngest of the Taisho children out of their mother's sight.

When the letter for second year arrived, Harry was concerned about how he was going to buy his supplies.

He approached his mother's office with the letter in hand, unsure if he should even bother her while she was working.

"I know you're outside the door, Harry." Maria's voice states, "Come in."

Harry entered and went up to his mother's desk, everything about this office was different then his father's, Sesshomaru's office held portfolios of various businesses, the family owned. While Maria's office held tribal art from various demonic fractions under their rule.

Harry handed Maria the letter with the supply list.

"I'll tell you by dinner, what we're going to do." Maria states, as she skimmed over the letter. "However, it seems that Shippo, has a problem to deal with in his tribe, and has requested a subsitiute that is well verse in our culture to teach his class for a few weeks. I must think on that as well."

Harry nods, and knew a dismissal when he heard one, he turned and fled his mother's office, when she's in there, she wasn't just a caring mother, she was The Lady of the Demonic Realm.

With Harry's enhanced hearing, he could hear Alison, she had returned from the dads and daughters camping trip, she and Keiko were in the garden. Harry went to Alison's room and found her going through her wardrobe and seeing her tossing out last year's fashion.

"Always have to be first in the fashion department, huh sis?" Harry questions as he sat down on the bed.

Alison leaned out of her closest. "Not really, I'm just going through my closet, and tossing stuff that doesn't fit me anymore. I'll donate it to the orphanage."

Harry nods, before turning his head.

Alison stopped and went over to her younger sibling. "What's wrong?"

"Every thing's changing, the Empire is at war. I don't like feeling like I do. Kikyo's been combat training the active powered priests and priestesses, monks to send them out so she hasn't be been able to spend any time with me. I can't go to my other friends since they wouldn't know how to protect me if rogues do find me."

"Who says you can't? Noriko signed on to protect you at school, I see no reason why she can't protect you at Ottery St Catchpole, where Ron lives?" Alison replies, as she stood up. "I'll ask mother and say its my idea." she tapped Harry's nose. "Which it is, little brother."

Harry sighed and went back to his room, and gasped in surpise to find Kikyo sitting on his bed.

"Kikyo!"

"I can't stay long but I have to report that this house-elf tried to persuade me that I should remain at the temple that our friends having been writing me or you for that matter." Kikyo replies, "I don't know what this means but I must ask you to be careful."

"I will."

Kikyo stood and looked at Harry. "I really am sorry, we haven't spend time anymore, but I have a slight problem on my hands."

"What is that?" Harry replies

"My young apprentice has received a letter from Hogwarts." Kikyo replies "Faith is a Priestess-In-Training, but now I do not know what to do."
