Hello everyone, this is the second chapter of Psionic and I will take the opportunity to answer some questions. Many have said there's nothing Naruto in history. Well, as our main character explores his powers, elements of the Naruto universe will be included. He has the knowledge of multiple stories and the possibility to create along with the manipulation of the world around him. We'll see what happens.

Psionic

Chapter 2

Field Test

Mount Justice- Happy Harbor

A week passed since the team was created and there had been no mission prepared for them. Aqualad, Robin, and Kid Flash continued to fight crime alongside their respective mentors so they had not bothered due to a lack of action with their new group.

Residents of Mount Justice, the freed and angry Superboy clone, the friendly and chirpy Miss Martian, and the other-world traveler Psionic showed no signs of disgust either as they could keep the cave quite busy inside the cave.

Superboy trained most of the time in the droid training bay, performed strength exercises, and underwent obstacle courses to deal with the lack of action along with the lack of attention he received from the individual who could be classified as his father. Superman had not taken well the fact that in the world there was a being as close as possible to a son of his without his consent and could not be in the presence of the clone without feeling uncomfortable so he chose not to deal with the young man for the time being and that the rest of the League would take care of it.

M'gann, for his part, enjoyed being in the cave kitchen where she tried different cooking recipes taken from old books to offer food to his teammates in a sign of appreciation and friendship. The two boys had different reactions when interacting with their partner. Superboy was serious most of the time and almost never accepted what the Martian prepared. Ethan, on the other hand, enjoyed having talks with the young woman along with tasting her food. He always found M'gann's character pleasant and knowing her in the flesh could not deny that it was very easy to talk to her.

Regarding Psionic, Ethan had explored the cave from the moment he arrived in the DC universe to see that everything was the same as the series he was familiar with and so it was. Everything seemed according to his knowledge so he didn't have a cost to get acquainted with his new environment.

The psychic's activities consisted of spending long time in Mount Justice's archive library and incorporating knowledge into multiple fields that allowed him to be able to understand which objects, energies, and physical laws he could modify or control with his bare psychic power.

Another key activity in Ethan's stay in the cave was to train the limits of his powers in order to devise strategies regarding the skills he could use during missions taking into account various scenarios such as infiltration, direct combat, collecting information, etc. Ethan was looking to be a hero with skills in many fields. Right now, the young man was training an idea that manifested in his mind.

'I'm able to control the matter around me'' Ethan thought in detail recalling the information Martian Manhunter shared with him as he studied his powers. 'But will I be able to create new matter or other forms of energy that don't exist?' With that thought, Ethan thought of the hundreds of universes he knew where there were diverse forms of very powerful energies and abilities.

"Chakra" Ethan thought as he watched his hand with the intention of the energy manifesting itself there. To his surprise, a bluish fire suddenly appeared covering his limb but he then evaporated in the air as he left his body. 'Then I'm also able to create other things.' The young man thought after testing his theory but was disappointed when he could not hold it in his body.

"Something is missing for it to work. I don't have the same physiology as the ninja of the Elemental Nations." Ethan tried to remember everything he knew about the Naruto universe in relation to the manipulation of the chakra along with the creation of jutsus. It didn't take long to find the answer. 'Of course, I don't have a chakra network. People had a second circulatory system next to the blood system where the chakra circulated through organs and cells.'

Psionic was in a deep dilemma, it would be great and too destructive to possess a skill as versatile as manipulating the chakra along with the infinite possibilities of creating other elements of the Naruto universe. Ethan thought of certain eyes that having them would be more powerful than most individuals within this universe. But trying to modify his body, without knowing the consequences that could lead to his physical state, made the idea dangerous. For the time being, the young psychic would put that project on hold until the point where he knew how to carry it out without killing himself and when the situation demanded him. In this universe of heroes there was no shortage of situations where everything could end in death.

'If the chakra is not available at the moment.' Ethan thought while preparing a new idea. 'I suppose direct elemental manipulation should suffice for the time being.' Another series Ethan knew quite well was Avatar and the art of bending over the elements seemed like a very versatile skill.

"Air Bending" The young psychic felt like the air around him converged on him and by imitating the movements he had seen so many times in the series he was able to copy various uses of art. Creating concentrated air currents capable of hitting multiple adversaries, manipulating the element to create a concentrated oxygen bubble where external elements could not cross, increase their normal speed as Aang did by using his air dominance over his own body. Most skills were successfully imitated, but a specific one had painful results.

"How did Aang control this?" Ethan complained as he moved around the training bay sitting on a rotating air sphere that moved him at high speed but was not easy for him to maneuver and crashed into the walls at every attempt. 'Note for later, more practice with the air sphere.' The young man said in his mind standing in some pain.

"Ethan, are you still in training bay?" M'gann's voice was heard by the speakers inside the room. The Martian was accustomed to telepathic communication but when the young men met, she tried to talk to Ethan using telepathy but a solid psychic energy shield prevented her from accessing the young man's mind.

""Here I am M'gann, I am practicing the limits of my manipulation on matter." Ethan responded by triggering the communicator located on the other side of the room with his mind.

"Ah, that's great. I wanted to let you know that I'm making sandwiches in case you wanted something to eat." The cheerful Martian said and Ethan could not help but feel his stomach protesting. A little food wouldn't hurt.

"Perfect M'gann, I'm heading to the kitchen." After the talk, Ethan cleaned up a little after training to leave the room with the intention of going to eat when the sound of Z-ray tubes were activated to give notice of the arrival of his companions.

When the machine was shut down, the rest of the team members who had no residence in the cave entered the cave. The heroes were dressed in civilian outfits instead of their uniforms except Aqualad, Robin, who was wearing sunglasses that did not show his face carefully with intentions of concealing his identity even within the team's base of operations.

"Hi Ethan, I see you're coming from training." Aqualad said when he saw that the young man looked exhausted while wearing loose clothing for freedom of movement.

"Just a little practice trying to expand the use of my powers." The young man told his partner. Wally, with intents to joke, tried to surprise Ethan with a scare in the back using his speed. That didn't work because before Kid Flash could touch Psionic, he used his telekinesis to hold him and lifted him off the ground until he was floating upside down over the rest of the heroes. Robin laughed at what happened and Aqualad sighed.

"That's what you earn Kid. It looks like Ethan's not easy prey." Robin said and they saw them approaching to receive Miss Martian and Superboy. Superman's clone watched Wally in the air trying to move, but he couldn't get off. He couldn't resist approaching Ethan and suggesting something. The young psychic laughs before he begins to spin the red-headed boy in the air for everyone's amusement.

"All right, I won't make jokes anymore, put me down before I throw up on you!" Wally protested and Ethan brought him down.

"I see you've already handled your skills better." Robin spoke as he laughed a little when he saw his friend get some justice for his prankster attitude.

"I've only practiced a lot, if I'm going to be sent on missions where I'm likely to fight villains and criminal organizations. I need to have to defend myself." Ethan spoke as he created a wind current on his right arm. The heroes were surprised at the young man's action and curiously observed his skill.

"Do you control the air as you please?" Wally asked surprised.

"Eolokinesis, I can extend my will to the air around me and use it as I please." Ethan compressed the air around his arm in a compact sphere of compressed air, M'gann was surprised that her teammate had such dominance and mental power that it allowed her to control an element. "This has enough concentrated force to neutralize a group of enemies." The member of the group with most scientific knowledge soon expressed his opinion.

"Dude, do you have a compressed air grenade in there? That's great." The skills demonstration came to an end when the base gateway opened letting the designated league member pass to oversee the team. Red Tornado descended through access using his ability to create tornadoes until he stopped in front of the group of young heroes.

"Good day" The robot said with an electronic neutral voice. "Is there a reason for you to wait for me gathered here?" Ethan remained silent as long as the chapter's dialogue occurred. The young man already knew what was going to happen so he did not want to intervene in Red Tornado's automatic response. "Mission designations belong to Batman", and then young people protested. It all happened like in the show but I decided to intervene in a little detail.

"M'gann." Ethan gets the Martian's attention. "Didn't you leave something on the stove?" That question caused the young woman to fly quickly into the kitchen to avoid what was meant to happen were it not for the presence of a new member in the cave. The young men followed M'gann to find her with a plate of delicious cookies as she showed a face of relief.

"I was cooking some cookies following a cookbook and they almost burned. Thank you Ethan." The young lady said and Ethan answered him smiling.

"Don't worry." The young man took one of the cookies that were beginning to be eaten by Wally and tasted it. "They're amazing, thank you M'gann." The psychic's words caused the Martian's cheeks to blush as she looked the other way.

"They really are great." Aqualad told his partner. Robin hit Wally in the head.

"Stop eating like that, you're not going to leave anything for the rest."

"Excuse me. I have a serious metabolism that I must maintain." The sprinter said as he continued to swallow cookies. Once the snacks were over, the residents of the cave guided those who lived outside through the different rooms of the base until they reached the hangar.

"This is my bioship." M'gann said pointing to a large red sphere located in the center of the hangar.

"It's pretty aerodynamic from what I see." Wally said nervously and the rest of the young men didn't know what to say but the girl laughed.

"He's resting, let me activate her." The sphere began to move and its shape changed until it acquired the figure of a ship with two side wings, thrusters located at the rear, and a raised bridge at the front. A ramp descended by command of the Martian who instructed her companions to come in with her to see the inside. They all went up except Ethan.

"What's the matter, buddy, are you panicking at heights?" Wally joked and Robin hit him on the side.

"No, I just want to try something I've been working on. M'gann, ask Red Tornado to open the hangar and take off," Ethan's request made the Martian look confused but did what Ethan asked. The metal doors of the hangar opened, allowing you to see the outside of Happy Harbor Bay. The bioship was raised and took off leaving behind the boy who focuses on activating a very versatile skill.

"Flight". Ethan's mental command caused an imperceptible psychic aura to envelop his body and immediately gravity had no effect on his mass allowing him to propel himself freely through the air. With a smile on his face Ethan flew out of the hangar to approach the ship and be seen by the rest of his companions. M'gann made the interior of the ship visible from the outside so that the psychic would be able to see the reactions of the rest of the young people. Wally was stunned, Robin was laughing at his friend's reaction, Aqualad was impressed by Ethan's skill, M'gann smiled as his friend enjoyed the flight along with the rest, Superboy was the only one who showed an expression of annoyance at the situation.

'No wonder, he's not able to fly like Superman and I'm making it angrier by being a simple human with that ability.' Ethan thought at the same time that he devised a way to help his partner.

A strange phenomenon interrupted the group's pleasant moment of relaxation in a surprising way, the winds around the area began to blow erratically and everyone could watch as a large tornado was created out of nowhere near the Happy Harbor's power plant. The bioship tried to control itself but was swept away by the hurricane wind to the ground. Ethan resisted the push of the winds and floated closer to the crash zone.

'I remember what's going on here. This will be a perfect opportunity to test my offensive skills.' Ethan watched his comrades leave the ship and run inside the structure in search of the culprit, the young psychic joined the group even in flight and they soon explained the situation to him.

"Tornado informed us of some disturbances at the power plant before we fell to the ground." Robin explained and once they reached the entrance of the building they saw a red-bodied android with nothing but a scarf around his neck.

"Who are you?" Aqualad asked at the same time that he created water hammers with his weapons. The robot observed the group and laughed with a mechanical voice.

"Just someone looking for a hero to destroy." The response was accompanied by a powerful whirlwind to the group of young people. Most were pushed hard against the walls of the plant but Ethan maintained his position.

"Quiet" The robot was still which caused the wind current to disappear and the heroes could regroup. Ethan had his hand outstretched towards his enemy as he felt his mind hold the villain's body captive. "Hit" An impact force against the robot's chest leaving a mark at the same time that the body was fired forcefully towards one of the building walls. The enemy pierced the concrete wall to go outside and end up on the ground badly.

"Telekinesis is quite useful." Ethan said.

"Dude, you little overdo it. You threw it down a wall." Wally said with some nerves.

"It's a robot, and I also intended to make it crash into the wall not to take it out. I must learn to control my strength." It was the psychic's response and M'gann put a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry Ethan, you're still a beginner in using telekinesis but over time and practice mastering it would be easier." Ethan thanked his partner's words with a smile and the youngsters went outside to run into an annoying android.

"I see the boys want to play, let Mister Twister show them his idea of fun." The named robot began turning his arms with enough speed to produce two whirlwinds that flew into the sky creating a large storm cloud with lightning.

"I don't think he's in the mood this morning." Robin said as everyone started running in different directions to avoid multiple electric shocks falling from the sky. Superboy, furious at receiving lightning, tried to approach Twister in one jump but the robot realized his intentions and sent a tornado at the clone to fly it. Ethan saw what was going on and had an idea. Superboy was pushed by the intense winds but was confused to realize that he was floating in the air but was not pushed.

"What is this?" The clone asked and there he saw Ethan extend his hand to his position implying that it was the work of the young man.

"Superboy, get ready to give that can what it deserves." It took me a few seconds for the clone to realize what the psychic was up to and couldn't help but smile back.

"When you're ready." Twister was frozen in the air again and knew it was the bastard who threw him out of the power plant.

"I'm getting sick of you, I'm going to fry you." Even motionless the robot was able to send an electric current towards Ethan. The young man was struck by lightning and had to avoid losing focus while grunting in pain from the attack.

"Get ready to be beaten up". Ethan screamed as he sent Superboy's body flying into his enemy's position. The clone enjoyed feeling his body glide through the air at high speed and more when he was able to hit Twister hard. The robot was fired to the skies with its torso shattered. "It's not over yet." The psychic pushes Superboy into the skies causing him to be on top of the villain during his ascent, the clone could not help but show a grimace of satisfaction while waiting for the robot to reach its position.

"Good night" Superboy said while hitting Twister with a hammer blow with all his might. The impact sent the iron body to the ground at high speed and the shock lifted a large cloud of dirt along with fragments of soil. Ethan brought Superboy down to the ground near the landing zone while flying nearby to see the outcome of the attack altogether. The other members of the group soon arrived at the site with several reactions to the fight.

"I knew, you were able to fly. Now nothing will stop us!" Wally said but the clone shook his head.

"Ethan was the one who made me fly during the fight. I still can't fly on my own." The words of the clone caused the members of the group to look at the psychic. Aqualad soon expressed his opinion.

"It was excellent teamwork, you were able to draw Twister's attention to you while allowing Superboy to take it by surprise with your powers and both got the win." The atlantean's observation caused Ethan to laugh nervously at the words of praise for doing a good job.

"Speaking of Twister, I don't think he'll get up after that beating." Robin once said the earth cloud cleared and everyone checked the robot's condition. Its shape was full of dents at the same time as its limbs were bent and inoperative. A beating with super strength tends to wreak havoc. "I think all that remains to be done is to take the remains to study them." The team agreed with the idea, Superboy and Aqualad descended into the crater to collect Twister's body but a beeping sound began to sound inside the robot causing everyone to freeze.

"Run!" Wally screamed while an apparent bomb started his detonation sequence and it would cause near potential fatalities but a sudden action saves Superboy and Aqualad.

"Containment" Ethan focused his mind on containing the explosion within a field of psychic force but that had immediate consequences.

"Ethan!" M'gann screamed to see the dangerous action his partner had just committed. The heroes saw with horror how the young man bled from his nose and his eyes became scarlet with tears of blood falling down his face. Ethan, for his part, felt unbearable pain inside his head as his conscience threatened to fade, but he knew that if he faltered for an instant the explosion would catch up with them all. With superhuman effort, the psychic sent the energy cocoon into the skies until it was at a safe distance and the explosion occurred a few miles from the ground. Once the danger stopped they all watched Ethan stand still with his hand pointing at the sky before falling to the ground.

"What the hell happened to him?" Superboy asked as M'gann held the young psychic's head to put it on her legs and check his condition. Closed eyes were crying blood along with his nose.

"His brain was recoiled from the bomb's impact on his energy field. His mind could not tolerate that threshold of pain and collapsed." M'gann responded while performing superficial scans inside his partner's head. "The damage was quite but not irreversible, it seems that..." The Martian kept quiet as she carefully studied what was going on inside Ethan's head. "Incredible, his cells are rapidly regenerating trying to heal the damage. It's amazing."

"You mean Ethan has some kind of accelerated healing like Flash?" Robin asked.

"No, Flash and Wally heal fast by the action of the Speedforce inside their bodies. Instead, Ethan possesses cell regeneration, his wounds close quickly when damaged tissue regenerates. I'm not sure he'll have a limit on his healing limit, but he'd have to be investigated. Anyway, it'd be better to take him to the medical room inside Mount Justice." Everyone present nodded at M'gann's suggestion, Robin wanted to learn more about Ethan's abilities but he was sure Batman would find out once he read the report of this confrontation. M'gann, using his abilities, carried the injured psychic inside the bioship to return to base.

Mount Justice. Hours later

Ethan's eyes suddenly opened and an intense white glow blinded him, moving a little, he realized he was lying on a bed inside a room that was clearly for medical purposes.

The young man sat down slowly and an intense headache struck him causing him to release a whining of pain.

"What the hell happened to me?" Ethan asked trying to remember what had happened before he lost consciousness. The team had decided to go out with the bioship to fly over the area, the young man had joined them as he took a test of his ability to fly, then Twister appeared and managed to defeat him but the bastard detonated himself. Ethan tried to contain him, and that's where he lost consciousness.

"Ah you finally wake up." A voice said and Ethan saw M'gann enter the medical room with an expression of relief on his face. "It's really amazing how fast you recover, a lot of telepaths would be prostrate weeks after what you lived and some would be left with sequels." The young man tried to ignore the pain he felt while listening to his companion's words.

"What happened to me?"

"When you held the explosion with your telekinesis, your mind forced beyond its limits upon receiving the impact, your brain began to give in under the pressure of the attack and you began to bleed to unconsciousness. You must be more careful about your limits Ethan." M'gann said with a little concern and seriousness to his partner by mentioning the limits of his ability. The young man took a few moments about the information his companion gave him and questions manifested in his mind.

"Would you have been able to contain that explosion without being harmed?" The young man asked and M'gann thought about the question a little before answering.

"The Martians are able to endure much more punishment than the human body. I would have contained the explosion with nothing but a headache of result. My uncle J'onn possesses more control and resistance than I do so I doubt the explosion would have affected him." That information caused Ethan to let out a sigh of wonder.

"You are incredible, so much power and endurance. It must be great to be a Martian." Ethan said laughing causing M'gann to blush at the words of appreciation directed at her even though Ethan was unable to see a few bit of sadness after she looked away.

"Don't think you're not amazing too." M'gann said quickly and the young man looked at her surprised causing the young woman to get nervous." I mean, you're human, but you have more power and mental capacity than we are, Ethan. Even if your body isn't as strong as ours, that's why you stop being special." Realizing what she said, the young woman became even more nervous.

"Thank you M'gann." Ethan couldn't help but feel better about the words of his partner, a friend actually, and gave him a hug to express his appreciation. "I will be careful from now on. I appreciate your words very much." The young man said with a smile and stood up with some difficulty as he still felt tired.

"Try to get some rest." M'gann suggested but Ethan kept walking.

"I'm fine, I'm going to change my clothes and train my skills more to keep my limits from leaving me incapacitated." The young man left the medical room with many things in his head.

"I must avoid overuse my telekinesis directly, I must focus on my elemental control and other skills that I can create." Many ideas passed through his mind as he recalled his knowledge of countless techniques of all the characters and universes he possessed in his head. Elemental control was quite useful as a surprising factor, but he needed skills that allowed him to master the pace of combat or be several steps ahead of his opponents.

He had an idea a few days ago when he pondered the possible use of the chakra. The missing factor was the additional circulatory system and the lack of accurate knowledge about how it worked. It seemed like there was no way to find anything close to that system, but a thought caused Ethan to head to the library within the base and start looking for specific books.

"Acupuncture, Chi Map, Pressure Point Scheme." The young psychic collected that precise material and sought parallels within the various schemes that dealt with the anatomy of pressure points and how it was theorized that chi was distributed within the body.

Here was what it took for Ethan to build a blueprint of his future circulatory chakra system. He had to design it in extreme detail so that the energy circulation is uniform through each cell of his body so as not to suffer an overload explosion in his muscles like Gai after using the Internal Doors.

It was a risky plan and there were a variety of things that could happen during and after the procedure. But it was an opportunity for the young man to have in his arsenal an excellent versatile tool with a wide range of techniques.

Determination soon manifested itself in the young man's eyes as he used his powers to create a notebook with what was necessary to take notes and begin the design and construction of his evolution.

3 Days Later - Mount Justice

"This isn't working." Ethan told himself after wrinkling his 30th attempt at Chakra Network and it turns out to be a failure. Every time he devised a paper scheme he performed a simulation in his mind carrying out the creation of the Network within his body, the results always ended in a failure with each new combination details that he devised to correct the failures that led to a complete organ failure, destruction of tissues, overloaded cells that disintegrated his body, and another series of alarming results.

"There's something I'm overlooking." Ethan lay on his bed as he watched the ceiling of his room while being surrounded by every failed attempt. The problem lay in the chakra as such. Its body was not able to tolerate all that energy by uncontrolledly feeding its cells. Something was missing from the designs of his system. "These results are familiar to me, but I feel like I know what I need but I don't remember well what it is." The young man thought and before he could continue his inner dilemma a few blows were heard at his door.

"Ethan, it's M'gann. Batman is organizing a meeting for a mission and asked the team to meet in the Report Room." Ethan made his failed attempts of investigation vanish and went to the door to meet his partner.

"Thank you for letting me know M'gann, let's see what our supervisor has for us." The youths headed to the meeting place where the rest of their companions were watching Batman. Gotham's hero nodded to see that the missing members were present and started explaining what would be the group's first mission.

"Santa Prisca Island, where the steroid known as Venom is produced under Bane's orders." Batman explained to the team once they met in the reporting room. "We've detected unusual activity within the island and decided to send you on a reconnaissance mission to find out what's going on."

"Who will be the team leader during this operation?" Aqualad asked, in his experience training with Atlantis military forces, an organized chain of command was the crucial element for the successful development of the unit's operations and cooperation.

"That's up to you to decide." Batman said.

"That's a clear sign of a future disaster," Ethan thought as he recalled how the reconnaissance operation lost the wow factor simply by leaving that important decision among a group of teenagers with their own egos.

"Well, that time I wasn't included in this group. We'll see what happens when they add an unpredictable factor."

Santa Prisca Island

The Bioship was flying over the coast of the island when Aqualad jumped off the ship to begin his part of defusing the area's exterior defenses. Inside the ship were team members activating the camouflage functions of their suits. Robin and Kid Flash's costumes changed from their eye-catching colors to a dark sneaky one by touching the badges of their outfits.

"Great, camouflage technology. You have to love these suits." Kid Flash said admiring his appearance.

"Nice" Megan said at the same time that he made his uniform change to a very similar look to the one Manhunter wore. "But I think I can adapt much better."

"Hey guys." Robin said addressing Ethan and Superboy." Last chance to prepare for the mission."

"It's not my style, no meshes or capes." Superboy said ruling out his interest in wearing an uniform other than his black shirt and jeans. Ethan, on the other hand, decided to surprise his comrades with a trick he had been practicing for espionage missions.

"I have something better." Psionic said. In an instant he disappeared from the sight of all present. Robin, Megan, and Kid Flash were surprised at the new skill the psychic demonstrated. Superboy, using his enhanced vision, tried to find Ethan using his x-rays but was unable to find him.

"I can't find him." Superboy confessed leaving the rest of the heroes even more impressed. "It's as if he completely disappeared."

"Ethan, are you still on the ship?" Megan asked and the young man's voice was soon heard.

"Yes, I'm still inside." Psionic said to reappear in everyone's sight.

"How did you do that without using technology?" Kid Flash asked with genuine curiosity. "You were able to hide from the senses of a kryptionian."

"Create an energy bubble capable of preventing light from cause refraction on me and make me visible to the eyes of others. It also prevents my presence from being captured by any other method." Ethan explained to his peers, Megan was the first to show his impression.

"That's impossible, even the most versatile Martian in using his mind would find trouble achieving what you did Ethan. I am able to become invisible only to the human eye but it is impossible for me to completely hide my presence." Megan said in amazement.

"Let's say I had a lot of practice time." The rest of the team wanted to question him in more detail, but Aqualad's call forced them to concentrate on the mission.

"The perimeter defenses were deactivated, they can continue with the landing." Aqualad said and immediately the team headed to the landing zone. Once at the site, wires came down from the roof to allow the ship's occupants to descend. Robin and Kid Flash used the wires to reach the ground, Megan used his ability to fly and descend in silence. Ethan, anticipating Superboy's actions, decided to use his telekinesis on the clone to suspend him in the air and cause him to descend quietly while joining his teammates.

"Why did you stop me in the air?" Superboy asked the psychic annoyed and he answered.

"It's a covert mission. An earthquake in the middle of the jungle wouldn't help much to keep our presence hidden." Ethan told the clone and the rest of his companions nodded at Psionic's action.

"You're right, Supey, a seismic event is what we need the least now." Kid Flash said and wanted to address Robin but he had vanished without anyone noticing. "Damn, I hate it when he imitates his boss and disappears without saying anything." Ethan, knowing what would happen, decided to take on a more active role in altering the results.

"Surely he went to the factory by his own methods. We must regroup with Aqualad at the meeting point and reach our destination." Ethan said and his companions nodded at the young man's words to set off toward the perimeter of the factory. It was not long before Superboy stopped the march to give a warning.

"Two squadrons are in front of us." Kid Flash used his lenses to observe the area in front of the group but saw nothing.

"Is this something related to the super ear?" Wally asked. Ethan, extending his field of perception, was able to accurately locate every member of the armed squadrons.

"A large group is about to start a shootout." Ethan said at the same time that he captured Robin's presence in the branches of the trees over the position of the enemies. "Wally, if you're planning on trying to find Robin, I want to tell you he's above us a few yards away." The young man knew Wally was planning to find his friend and that caused the wow factor to be lost the first time.

"How do you know?" Wally asked.

"I can feel the minds of individuals within my field of perception, Aqualad is already waiting for us at the reed point so we should avoid being seen and continue our mission." Ethan said and there was a moment of doubt at the directions but they decided to follow his partner.

As they moved through the bushes in the dark, the heroes avoided detection and soon heard gunshots and battle screams once the groups met. Wally and Megan stopped for a moment as they thought about intervening but Ethan reminded them of their goals. Once they left the conflict behind, they soon got to Aqualad and Robin joined the group shortly.

"Incredible that we still kept the wow factor." Robin said. "I thought something would happen that would make us fight those mercenaries." The rest of the group nodded to his companion's words.

"Did you get a good look at them from your position, Robin?" Ethan asked with the intention of seeing what information they were gathering.

"Yes, a group belonged to Bane's men with the boss within the group leading the assault. The other group belonged to the Cult of Kobra." Robin's revelation left most young people confused. Seeing the clear confusion in his peers, Ethan decided to share his knowledge.

"The Cult of Kobra is a group of fanatics who follow the orders of Kobra, a demented one who thinks it is the reincarnation of a god and his followers faithfully follow them committing all kinds of atrocities on his behalf." The information left the young heroes surprised while Robin turned to Psionic.

"You're pretty knowledgeable about Kobra's group." Robin said.

"Not only do I practice with my powers, I spend some of my time getting acquainted with the database of enemies the League and each of its members have faced. You have to be prepared."

"Our mission is still underway." Aqualad said earning the group's attention. "The factory is a few meters from our position. We must find a way in without them knowing." The team set off to the place they were to investigate, through the jungle in silence and without any presence of enemies, they managed to see the structure. The complex was in the middle of a clearing where The Team could see a lot of people carrying boxes and other materials.

"At least we already know what the unusual activity is. Kobra invaded Venom's factory and took it from Bane." Robin said using his binoculars to observe how the contents of the substance were transferred to chemical treatment machines. "Now what we need to know is what they are producing here and for what purpose." The young men approached one of the walls of the factory and realized the presence of armed guards at the top of the wall.

"We must go up there to get a better view." Aqualad suggested.

"But first we have to get rid of the guards without attracting attention." Robin said.

"Let me try." Ethan said and caught the group's attention.

"What do you plan to do, Ethan?" Megan asked. Psionic did not answer and decided to concentrate on the minds of those guards occupying their positions on the wall and once he managed to get in touch with them his idea was executed. With a single command Ethan said.

"Sleep." Ethan's will invaded the minds of his targets without any resistance causing the guards to lose consciousness and the roof to be cleared. "Ready, we can go up now." Robin used one of his gadgets to get to the top of the wall. Meg

an used his telekinesis to carried Aqualad while Ethan carried Superboy and Kid Flash effortlessly.

"Damn dude, your powers are really useful." Kid Flash said when he saw the knocked-out guards on the ground. Ethan said nothing and the group members just saw what was going on in the central courtyard of the complex. The heroes could see that a helicopter was landing on the factory's helipad while three figures waited for the occupant of the vehicle.

"I see Kobra in front of the helicopter." Robin said watching closely. Aqualad observed a control room with servers in a tower near its current position.

"It looks like a control room it's in that tower. A team should go there to extract information about what they are developing here." Aqualad's idea was well received by the team. Ethan decided to contribute his grain of sand.

"Robin should take care of hacking the base servers. I'll take care of spying on the parties' meeting and discovering Kobra's purpose here." Psionic's idea had merit and they were about to carry it out when Megan decided to stop Ethan.

"Are you sure you can do it, Ethan? You're still new to using your psychic abilities and I'm not sure if you could keep the flight along with your camouflage." Ethan simply wanted to fly to the meeting and finish the assignment, but a part of him couldn't help but prevent Megan from worrying.

"Don't worry." Ethan said as he rose in the air. "As I had said before." His body vanished from everyone's sight along with all a glimpse of his presence. "I practiced a lot."

Ethan slipped through the air without any problem to the area where the passenger of the helicopter descended and the young man saw that it was Sportmaster who came to collect the product made by Kobra combining the Blockbuster formula along with that of the Venom. The meeting between the villains kept pace with the series as Psionic extended his senses to the area where Kid Flash and Robin were.

"They seem to have managed to get into the server room smoothly and are retrieving information about what they are manufacturing here." Ethan's attention returned to the meeting and he discovered information he hadn't discovered before.

"Sportmaster, I have received information about an artifact that I need to carry out an operation." Kobra told the mercenary. "I need your services for it's recovery." Sportmaster was silent at the request.

"My services are not cheap Kobra, plus I am working for a certain group that keeps its eyes on everything that happens in the world." Sportmaster said. "If your plans get to interfere with the organization there can be severe consequences." The mercenary's words made Kobra take a serious look at him, the woman accompanying him was ready to attack Sportmaster due to disrespect for her leader. Ethan observed that Mamoth was standing next to the sectarian leader ready to attack in the slightest order.

"I'll double your pay for your services." Kobra's words made Sportmaster nod with satisfaction.

"Then we have a deal, Lord Kobra. Once this work is done give me the data necessary to carry out your order." Sportmaster's words of satisfaction made Kobra give him a look of annoyance but he kept his composure as they still had to complete the current deal and still wanted his services.

"Hell, had it not been for Bane's intervention and Megan's lack of subtlety during this mission, the team would have gotten valuable information." Ethan thought as he wondered what kind of object Kobra was looking for his plans. Cult men were loading Kobra-Venom's containers inside the helicopter for Sportmaster to take the cargo to the drop-off point for The Light when a heavy explosion was soon heard.

"I want my factory back, bastardos!" Ethan watched the site of the explosion to discover an angry Bane along with some members of his group entering the compound seeking revenge for what they had taken from him.

"I suppose this mission was meant to end with an explosion." Ethan thought of seeing that Bane had caused a fuss even if he hadn't been used to get to the compound. "But we haven't lost the wow factor yet." Psionic observed the place where his companions were hiding. The young mea saw the villain's arrival at the factory but did not decide to intervene with what was going on. Kid Flash and Robin left the server room once they collected the information to meet with the rest of their peers.

"Take the shipment to your bosses, Sportmaster. We have to deal with a plague." Kobra said before heading to the battle zone. Mamoth began mutating thanks to the Kobra-Venom's influence to beat Bane again like last time. The mercenary only nodded and entered the helicopter loaded with the substance to leave the island. Ethan thought about destroying the vehicle as they had last time to prevent The Light from acquiring the product, but he had a better idea.

Before the vehicle began to rise, Psionic placed a tracker on the outside to keep track of it to the delivery site. Satisfied with his feat, Ethan went to the place where his companions were and was visible again to rest a little.

"Dude, you were completely undetectable." Kid Flash told Ethan. The young man only laughed a little at the observation of his companion.

"Thank you, I suppose you managed to get enough information from the servers." Robin nodded.

"Yes, it looks like they acquired Cadmus's Blockbuster formula and mixed it with Venom to make a much stronger muscle stimulant with extreme degree of mutation. Looks like they're mass-producing it for an army with such an amount that they prepared for the buyer." Robin informed the group and Aqualad turned to Ethan.

"What did you find out at the exchange, Psionic?" Ethan began to reveal to them what he discovered along with a little extra knowledge.

"Sportmaster was the buyer but actually worked as an intermediary for the real owner of the Kobra-Venom boxes." Psionic's report caught Robin and Aqualad's attention. "Apparently a fairly large organization is getting resources and it seems that the League of Shadows is part of it as Sportmaster follows Rhas Al Gul's orders."

"That's not good." Robin showed concern about what they discovered. "The League of Shadows is already a problematic adversary but knowing that they work together with a larger organization is troubling." Batman's training forced the young man to think of the worst possible scenario about the plans they could carry out.

"We should destroy this factory, boys." Kid Flash said. The heroes looked at Wally. "They're producing this for an army, if we cut off their supply, we can delay any plans they have for this." Superboy agreed with Kid Flash's reasoning, Robin also agreed on sabotage while thinking it would be the same thing Batman would do. Megan was hesitant about which side to support and Aqualad expressed doubt.

"Our mission was to infiltrate and discover what was going on in the complex. Ee must not get involved or cause a fuss." The young Atlantean showed his doubts at Wally's request to destroy the machinery of the complex.

"Yes, but we've already discovered that this is a supply center." Wally didn't plan on passing up a chance to show off and have the team have a more active role. "Any member of the League would try to destroy this place to prevent more villains from acquiring this product." It looked like the speedster was going to win the argument and get the team involved in the battle, but Ethan wasn't going to allow that.

"You forget, Kid Flash. That we are not the League, we have our orders and have no reason to disobey them." Psionic's words made Kid Flash and Superboy look annoyed at their partner.

"But we find out what they're doing here, we can give them a strike where it hurts the most."

"And so we would eliminate our anonymity as a parallel group of the League and alert the organization of our presence. We would let them know that we are on our way to interfere with their hidden plans." Ethan's reasoning made Robin nod to the group's priority. Megan already knew who to support.

"But we're not here to do anything." Superboy decided to show his discontent. "We can beat them and imprison them to get them out of the way." Ethan just refused the idea.

"Do you think we didn't do anything?" Ethan's voice and tone caused the clone to remain silent. "We kept a low profile and went unnoticed by several enemies of the League. We managed to gather crucial information about their plans along with the intentions of the dark organization that moves the threads. With this information and the wow factor we will manage to attack them without them being prepared against us." Before Kid Flash could answer with any of his ideas, Psionic looked at Aqualad. "You know I'm right."

"Psionic is right. We have crucial information along with anonymity and I guess you have a plan for Sportmaster." Ethan just smiled.

"I have something on my mind but I'll discuss it once we deliver the report to the boss." Having said that Aqualad nodded and the rest of the team had to agree to retire as Robin and Megan did not wish to participate in an attack. The team managed to quietly enter the jungle unseen as Bane's forces kept Kobra's forces occupied.

Once in the bioship, the team of heroes returned to the Mount Justice facility where Batman was waiting for them to hear the mission report.

"A reconnaissance mission, that's all you had to do." Batman began saying once Aqualad and Robin revealed what they discovered in Santa Prisca. "And you did it without being discovered by the enemy, I must admit that I am impressed as I hoped that the lack of a leader figure during the mission would make you commit mistakes." Batman's words made most of the team impressed, even Robin as it was difficult to somehow impress his superior.

"I must admit that not having a clear leader figure during the mission jeopardized coordination between us." Ethan spoke and Batman's attention rested on the young psychic. "But we kept our goal clear while avoiding making mistakes that would have jeopardized our position." His companions showed various reactions to Psionic's words. Kid Flash was sorry that he tried to start a fight and Superboy had to admit it was a good idea not to fight. Megan only smiled at his partner's mindset.

"I understand, it seems that they managed to maintain order during the chaos." Batman said seriously. "Robin informed me that you avoided destroying the machinery of the complex because you came up with a plan. May I know what that plan is about?" Ethan stared at the most adamant member of the League with a serious look and nodded.

"It's very simple, put a tracker in the helicopter that Sportmaster used to transport the Kobra-Venom. Now we have the location of one of the bases they use as storage." Batman could not help but show an expression of acceptance in the face of Psionic's action. "We went unnoticed in the complex, so they will have no reason to expect an infiltration into one of their operations centers."

"Damn, that guy sure plans big." Kid Flash said, causing most of the group to nod at Psionic's idea.

"Do you say that you want to attack that base and avoid the distribution of the product?" Batman asked. Ethan smiled at the question.

"No." The youth looked at him in surprise by denying the opportunity to attack the organization. "I hope the League will use this information for its members to investigate the place without us participating."

"Hey, that's not right." Kid Flash soon disagreed. "We managed to get this information Ethan, you yourself discovered that Kobra has other plans and you managed to track Down Sportmaster. You should be anxious to attack them."

"You still don't understand what this group is about, Wally." Ethan looked at him seriously. "We are a parallel group to the Justice League, specializing in covert missions so that makes us a sneaky group to thwart the plans that the villains hide and can't be seen easily." Batman was surprised at Ethan's mindset.

"Psionic is right. You have done an excellent job in acquiring this information and the fact that they got it without alerting the enemy gives us a more advantageous position. We will make good use of your work in bringing down this operation." Without saying more, Batman was preparing to transport himself to Watchtower. "Good work." And it vanished.

"Did we just leave the scariest member of the League impressed?" Wally asked surprised.

"It seems so, and we owe it to Ethan for staying focused on our goal." Aqualad said by placing his hand on Psionic's shoulder.

"I supposed someone had to keep an eye on the logical goal of the mission." Ethan said with a smile. "It would also be a good time to appoint an operations leader" The team agreed with the young man's suggestion.

"For me the most logical and simple option is clear." Superboy said looking to the one that allowed the success of the mission. "Ethan should be our leader."

"I agree, he kept order and was able to lead us to success." Megan said with a smile.

"While I'd like to be me, I can't help but claim that Ethan would be better at guiding us." Robin admitted by making Ethan surprised. Wally didn't say anything, but he didn't disagree either.

"I can't deny that you kept order much better than I did Ethan, there's no choice better than you." Aqualad said and the young man was happy to receive the leadership of the team. However, he decided to choose another path.

"I am honored that I was elected as a leader, yet I do not believe I have the skills to guide them effectively." His companions were confused by Ethan's refuse to be the leader of the group. "The right option would be to choose Kaldur because of his military training."

"If you accept me as your leader, then the only condition I ask is for Ethan to accompany me in leadership." The young man could not help but laugh at his companion's suggestion.

"Of course Captain." Ethan said and his comrades laughed at the situation.

"Then, we're officially a team." Kid Flash said.

"One you can never find or stop." It was Ethan's thinking as he devised ways to beat The Light bluntly.

Here's another Psionic chapter. Excuse me for the delay, but the situation in Argentina and around the world forced me away from my work. But don't worry, now I have time and I'll go back to work on my other stories. I decided to create a P'a'tre'on so if you want to receive chapters in advance or leave me ideas for my stories you can do it more directly and they will be taken into consideration. Thank you very much, LordSylph out.
