A/N: Another day another chapter written! In this chapter: Amadeus is so worried about Tailsko that he decided to the be a helicopter parent and follow Tailsko around everywhere she goes but as he does so trouble follows him as well! First he messes up the science room by messing up the volcano experiment then after that he makes Tailsko eat a healthy lunch which actually looks gross but then Darkheart comes along to bully Tailsko some more but Amadeus stands up to him but gets in trouble with the lunch monitor by beating him up when they get home Tailsko has had enough of her father's meddling so she snaps at him and telling him that she hates him! Will Tailsko and Amadeus ever make it up in the end? Who knows!

Chapter 10: Army Copter Parent

Tailsko was sleeping peacefully in her bed when she felt someone shaking her to wake her up she pushed the arm away from her as she grunted but the arm shook her again. "Sweetie, it's time to wake up." Amadeus told her. The vixen slowly opened her eyes, sat up from her bed, she stretched and yawned to wake herself up even more. She then rubbed her eyes to get the sleep out she then turned to her father who was laying in bed with her. She was startled by this. "Dad? What are you doing in my bed?" She asked. "Well honey, I've decided to spend time with you all day long." He answered. Tailsko raised her eyebrow and asked. "Uh, dad? Do you realized I have to go to school and you have to go to work?"
"Relax Millie, I have a whole week off remember?" Amadeus said. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that it's has been one crazy month with me almost being raped, getting kidnapped by Robotnik, and Robotnik attacking my school." She said. "Now, don't you worry about that sweetheart! I'll be around you 24/7 so no mean person will hurt you again." Amadeus assured her as he ruffled her hair a bit. Tailsko giggled as she playfully shoved his arm away from her. "Daddy." Tailsko chided playfully. "BREAKFAST!" Rosemary called out to her husband and child. "Time for breakfast!" Tailsko said as she ran downstairs with her father following behind her.
-Later that day-
The students and Amadeus were inside the science room which was a medium-sized room with white walls with papers with science stuff written or drawn on it, white floor, a black chalkboard at the end of the room behind the teacher's desk, a large brown desk with teacher's stuff on it, seven white desks for students with goggles, tubes, some chemicals, and books on each desk, a closet for chemicals, two long counters with goggles, chemicals, and other stuff on it, and a door nearby the teacher's desk to leave the room. The science teacher was a male Caucasian-American slender human with blue glasses, pink nose, orange mustache, orange hair that looked like his mustache, red shirt, black pants, white gloves, a yellow cape around his neck, and black shoes named Dr. Ovi Kintobor (aka Anti-Robotnik).
He was the science teacher of the school he was a kind-hearted teacher who loves kids and loves to learn about science but he hates it when people don't pay any attention to them or messes things up on purpose. His favorite student was Tailsko because she was into science experiments like he does and Kintobor was Tailsko's favorite teacher as well because he was very nice to her and doesn't tease her about her two tails. He looked like Robotnik but was thinner and nicer than him. He was also kind to animals as well he sometimes helps out Vanilla in the nurse's office to help her heal students who are sick or injured by making medicines for them if they are allergic to the medicine in the nurse's office. He was a kindest teacher indeed.
Tailsko's favorite classes are science class and library she loved both those classes because it's involves reading, writing, math, fun, and many more things. She always get excited during these classes but not too excited though she tries to keep cool so she doesn't get in trouble for disrupting class.
"OK class, now for today's experiment we'll be doing a classic experiment known throughout the century of science classes, the volcano experiment." Kintobor explained as he wrote on the chalkboard about the volcano experiment while drawing a volcano on the chalkboard as well. Sonic, Tailsko, and Amadeus were sitting next to each other at one desk with stuff they need to make the volcano experiment. Amadeus was sitting to the left of Tailsko, Tailsko was sitting in the middle of Sonic and Amadeus, and Sonic was sitting to the right of Tailsko in their own chairs. Sonic and Tailsko have been science partners ever since they became friends, Kintobor always paired the two of them up as partners except when one of them are sick at home or otherwise they get pair up with another partner.
"Alright! The volcano experiment you can't beat the classics!" Tailsko whispered to her blue friend. "Volcanoes are cool and all why not we make something like a racing loop and loop rings and use a toy car to go around the loops." Sonic whispered back to her. "Hey you two no speaking in class!" Amadeus chided to them quietly as he waved his finger at them. "Sorry daddy." Tailsko whispered. "Sorry Mr. Prower." Sonic whispered as well. "First, place your milk bottles into the bowl then take some clay and mold it around the milk bottle except the mouth area." Kintobor explained as he looked into the book about volcano experiments. The students did what the teacher had told them to do. Tailsko had just finished molding her volcano she turned to Sonic to see that he was having a little trouble molding the volcano around the mouth.
"Let me help you Sonic." Tailsko suggested. "Thank you, Tailsko I could use some help with this clay." Sonic said. She was about to help Sonic when her father grabbed her arms and pulled them back from Sonic. "No, no, Millie, you must not touch another people's things it might have germs on it and you could get sick." Amadeus said, wagging his finger at Tailsko while holding her hands. The adult fox then pulled out a wet wipe and wiped off the vixen's hands after that he threw the dirty wipe into the trash can and smiled at Tailsko's clean hands. "There we go, now you're hands look clean." Amadeus said. He then pinched Tailsko's cheek. Tailsko blushed as she pushed her father away from her. "Dad, you're embarrassing me!" She whispered. Sonic chuckled a bit at this but Tailsko glared at him making him stop and return to his project. Sonic eventually got the volcano right around the mouth.
"Then we pour the water into the volcano being careful not to add too much." Kintobor explained some more. The students poured the water into their volcanoes Sonic carefully poured the water into the volcano as well he accidentally spilled some on the table but he zipped to the sink, grabbed a paper towel, zipped back to the table, and wiped off the water. Tailsko grabbed the measuring cup of water she was about to pour it in when her father swiped the cup from her. "Hey!" She protested. "Let me pour the water, Tailsko, you might spill some on yourself." Amadeus said, holding up his hand. The fox poured the water into the volcano until the cup was empty he then placed the cup back on the table. "Dad, I don't think you're suppose to pour THAT much water into the volcano." She told her father.
"Oh honey, it will be fine." Amadeus said as he waved his hand at her. Tailsko rolled her eyes and huffed as she placed her hand on her face on the table. "No slouching, dear." Amadeus said, tapping her on the shoulder. She sighed as she sat back up to her original position. "Next we add two drops of red food coloring into the volcano." Kintobor explained even more. The students added the food coloring into their volcano, Sonic added two drops as well-being careful not to let any on the floor this time. Tailsko grabbed the red food coloring bottle she added two drops to her volcano and placed the bottle back on the table. "Two drops?" Amadeus asked. "Yes daddy, two drops of red food coloring is all we need for this volcano." Tailsko explained.
"That's not enough we need more red coloring for it to look like lava!" Amadeus said as he picked up the bottle and squeezed five more drops into the volcano after that he placed the bottle back onto the table. "Dad, I really don't think that's a good idea." Tailsko warned him. "Not to worry I know what I'm doing and I'm only doing what's best for you." Amadeus assured her. Tailsko rolled her eyes again as she slumped onto the table with her hand on her face. "Ahem, no slouching!" Amadeus reminded her. Tailsko sat back to her original position.
"And finally we add chemicals to the volcano to make it all fizzy like soda pop but be careful not to add too much chemicals for otherwise we could have a disaster." Kintobor explained as he shown his students about how much chemicals they could put into the volcano. The students carefully poured the chemicals into their volcanoes and Sonic did as well-being extra careful not to get anywhere including himself. Tailsko was about to grab the two beakers of chemicals when her father swiped the beakers away from her. "No, no, no, Melissa. These chemicals are far too dangerous for you since I'm the adult other than Kintobor around here I'll pour the chemicals for you." Amadeus said, as he wagged his finger at her.
Tailsko sighed in frustration at her father's behavior she knew he meant well and want to protect her from harm but he was being overprotective! "Now, you go over there next to the door while I pour these chemicals, okay honey?" He told her. "Fine dad, but be careful not to add too much..." She was about to warn him but he placed his finger on her lips and hushed her. "I know what I'm doing sweetie." Amadeus assured her. "Sonic, you better go with her so she doesn't get hurt." He told the blue hedgehog. "Huh?" Sonic asked as he looked at the vixen. Tailsko just shrugged her shoulders at him Sonic then walked toward her and the two of them walked near the doorway. "What's with your dad?" He asked. "He's being overprotective ever since that incident yesterday!" She answered him.
"Overprotective?" He asked. Tailsko nodded her head at him. "At first, I thought it would be fun spending time with my father but now he's being really embarrassing by being overprotective of me! I know he means well but this is going too far!" She explained to him. "Relax, sis, I'm sure he'll get over this by the end of the day." Sonic assured her. "I hope you right." Tailsko said. She then turned to see her father pouring two chemicals into the volcano at the same time. She gasped in horror. "DADDY! STOP YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSE TO POUR TWO CHEMICALS AT THE SAME TIME!" Tailsko shouted to him. Amadeus turned to his daughter and asked. "Why not?"
Then the bubbling sound came from the volcano causing the adult fox to back away in horror when he realized what he had just done. "Oh shit!" Amadeus cussed. Kintobor had been looking down at his book after he explained about volcano experiments on the chalkboard since he had trusted his students that they been following directions he didn't bother to look up from his book until he heard Amadeus cussed. He quickly looked up he was about to shout to the person who swore when he noticed that Tailsko's volcano was beginning to bubble and was about to explode. "Whoa! Everyone out of the class now!" Kintobor shouted to them. Tailsko, Sonic, Amadeus, the students, and Kintobor ran out of the classroom just in time as the volcano exploded into the gooey red mess.
After a while Kintobor, Amadeus, Tailsko, Sonic, and the students looked at the classroom which was covered in the red liquid. The walls, the floor, the tables, and even the sink was covered in the red gooey mess! Kintobor glared at Amadeus as he crossed his arms and tapped his foot in anger. Amadeus blushed as he shuffled his feet in embarrassment. "I was just trying to help my daughter." He explained to him. Tailsko face palmed in embarrassment as Sonic patted her on the back to assure her at everything was going to be okay. After a while, Sonic, Tailsko, and Amadeus cleaned up the science room for Kintobor he was a little angry but he let it go after Tailsko explained that it was an accident so he let them off with a warning but he did warned them that if it happens again he will report it to Principal Vector.
-Lunch Break-
A cafeteria room was large with painted walls of blue skies, green grassy hills, and flowers, the floor was checkered black and white like a checker board, several brown tables, large windows showing the outside where the playground is, tubes lights above the room, a large wide food court with a metal assembly line, a sneeze guard around the food which the lunch ladies serve, and at the end of the line where milk cartons, juice boxes, bottles of water, and soda cans, a dessert section with goodies, a cash register with the cashier near the drink section. Behind the food court where lunch ladies making lunches for the kids and a door leading to the kitchen where they prepare the lunch for the kids. A large trash can nearby the doorway of the cafeteria which leads to the hallway of the school. It was nice place to have lunch in where kids ate their own lunch they had from home or buy lunch at the food court.
Sonic, Tailsko, and Amadeus were in the line with the other kids getting their lunch they looked at the food before them and noticed that it was chili dogs for lunch. Sonic licked his lips with delight. "Alright! Chili dogs my favorite!" Sonic said. Tailsko giggled at this. "You love chili dogs don't you Sonic?" She asked. Sonic blushed as he hid his face behind his lunch tray and he chuckled. Tailsko rolled her eyes at this it was cute to see Sonic blushing like this. "It's fine, Sonic, I'm just teasing you." Tailsko assured. The blue hedgehog put down his lunch tray and shrugged his one shoulder with a smile on his face. "I think I will have some chili dogs too." Tailsko said. "No, Melissa, you have something healthy." Amadeus said, wagging his finger at her.
"But dad..." She protested. "No, it's not healthy for you! You need to eat something healthy for a change like carrot casserole for a change!" Amadeus said as he pointed at the square dish filled with an orange carrot-filled goo. Tailsko winced with disgust she didn't mind eating healthy but carrot casserole doesn't taste great she tried it once and she didn't like it. "She'll have carrot casserole, please." Amadeus told the lunch lady. The lunch lady who was a female purple hippo smiled and nodded she grabbed the ladle, scooped out the orange goop, and plopped it onto the vixen's tray. "Yuck!" Tailsko said. "Melissa! That's no way to be polite about the food people make!" Amadeus scolded. "Sorry, Madame." Tailsko grunted. The hippo just shrugged and said. "No problem, I've heard worse."
After a while, Sonic, Tailsko, and Amadeus sat down at the table where Knuckles was sitting at. Sonic had a tray filled with two chili dogs, fries, and a Mountain Dew, Knuckles had a tray filled with a double Decker hamburger, carrot sticks, and a bottle of water, and both Tailsko and Amadeus had two trays filled with carrot casserole, kidney beans, and cartons of regular milk. Sonic and Knuckles chow down their meals Tailsko was about to do the same but her father stopped her. "Now, Tailsko, remember our manners." Amadeus said. Tailsko rolled her eyes and placed her napkin in her lap and her father did the same. Then they both ate slowly. But as they did the vixen suddenly felt someone pushed her into her carrot casserole. The boys immediately looked up from their food to see what had happened.
Tailsko rose up from the casserole her face was now covered in the orange goop. "You okay little sis?" Sonic asked, offering her a napkin. Tailsko took the napkin and wiped off the goop from her face and placed the napkin down on the table. "Yeah, I'm okay someone pushed me into the food." Tailsko answered. "I did that!" A familiar voice answered. Tailsko turned to find Darkheart the Eagle standing there with an evil grin on his face and his hands on his hips. He was alone his two goons weren't with him today they were home sick with a flu. "Darkheart! Not you again! Where are your goons?" She asked. "Unfortunately, they're home sick with a flu because they were too stupid enough to remember getting their flu shots this year unlike me!" The eagle answered.
"I think you need a vaccine to your head you're already sick in the mind!" Tailsko mocked as she tapped her finger on her head. Sonic and Knuckles laughed at the joke as they covered their mouth so the food doesn't come out of their mouth. Darkheart's face turned red with anger then without warning he grabbed Tailsko and shoved her down on the floor he got on top of her and held her down with his two hands. "I'll give you a shot in the head!" Darkheart shouted as he raised his fist in the air about ready to pound Tailsko into the floor. Sonic and Knuckles were about to get up from their seats to stop Darkheart but Amadeus held out his arm to stop the boys from doing so. "No boys, I'll handle this I'm the adult around here!" Amadeus told them.
The adult fox then ran toward the kids he grabbed the eagle, lifted him up into the air, and slammed him into the wall. "HOW DARE YOU HURT MY DAUGHTER!" Amadeus shouted to him. The eagle's eyes widened with fear he dealt with angry adults before but this one was something different something that tells him that he shouldn't mess with Tailsko when he's around. "You think it's funny bullying a girl? What kind of boy are you? That's no way to treat a lady!" Amadeus growled. "I was just joking around." Darkheart lied. Amadeus slapped the purple eagle across the face. "Don't lie to me you disgrace of the bird of justice! I've fought in wars lost thousands of men and lives in the army from dirt bags like you! You show disrespect by bullying my daughter! Let's see how you like being bully, huh?" Amadeus shouted.
The adult fox then marched toward the carrot casserole on his tray and slammed Darkheart's face into it. The eagle tried and tried to get away but the fox was stronger than him. "Eat it! You filthy piece of shit!" Amadeus shouted, shoving the purple eagle into the mush. Tailsko smiled at this for once her father was actually protecting her from the bully. Sonic and Knuckles laughed at this until a loud whistle ran throughout the cafeteria. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING MR. PROWER?" A loud voice boomed throughout the room. Everyone turned to the voice it was the adult lunch monitor. The monitor's name was Soar the Eagle.
Soar was a male turquoise eagle with orange eyes, white head with three spikes at the back, turquoise body, muscular figure, white gloves, pink polo shirt with a white eagle logo on it, yellow beak, yellow socks, pink and blue shoes, a whistle around his neck, and white tail feathers. He was Darkheart's uncle when Soar was around Darkheart would act nice and friendly toward him so he would make other kids look bad so Darkheart doesn't get in trouble and find out the truth about him. Darkheart was Soar's favorite nephew he thought he was good and kind-hearted unaware about how cruel his nephew really is because Darkheart plays a nice guy act around him which might make it even worse for Tailsko now.
Amadeus let go of the purple eagle to which Darkheart pushed the adult fox away from him, ran to the adult eagle, and hugged him tight. "Uncle Soar, that adult fox is being mean to me because I was playing with his daughter." Darkheart told him in a false sad tone with a pout on his face. Soar patted the young eagle on the back with a pity look on his face. "There, there, little Darkies your uncle will take care of that mean old fox for you." Soar assured him, Tailsko growled angrily at this it was one thing to bully her but blame her father for something he was trying to protect her from? "Darkheart's lying to you, sir!" Tailsko called out to the lunch monitor as she shook her fist at him.
"Don't you talk about my nephew like that!" Soar shouted to the vixen while Darkheart stuck his tongue out at her. "Hey! Don't shout to my daughter like that!" Amadeus shouted to the adult eagle. "You mind your own business you mean fox!" Soar shouted back at him. "That's it!" Amadeus shouted, he then ran toward the adult eagle. Darkheart ran out of the cafeteria afraid of what the fox might do to him then Amadeus tackled Soar and start beating the crap out of him causing Soar to yell in pain as Amadeus cussed in anger. Tailsko face-palmed in embarrassment and shame. "This is going to be a lonnnnggg day." Tailsko muttered to herself.
-Later That Evening-
Tailsko laid on her bed with her arms crossed, her legs laid out, and an angry look on her face she was very angry about what had happened at school that day. First, her father embarrasses her in science class, her father made the mess in that same class, her father forced her to eat healthy foods which was fine but he was being overprotective about it, and now she left school early and got suspended for a week all because her father had beaten up the lunch monitor because he took Darkheart's side about what had happened in lunch today. She was angry at Soar for taking her bully's side because of the act he had put on in front of his uncle Vector didn't want to suspend her but he had no choice he had to follow the school rules like the kids. As her father he was banned from that school until he control his anger.
She was however glad that her father stood up for her against Darkheart and beating the lunch monitor for taking the bully's side of the story that was one thing she was happy about but the rest she was angry as hell at her father. She was angry at the lunch monitor but she was even more angry at her father for what he did at school! She could hear her parents arguing about what had happened at school today and how things should've been handled differently.
"Amadeus! I can't believe you actually did that today!" Rosemary shouted to her husband.
"I was only trying to protect our daughter!" Amadeus shouted back.
"You're lucky the school didn't press charges! You should've let Tailsko do her own volcano experiment and not to mention handle the bully problem the different way!" Rosemary shouted back.
"What was I suppose to do about the bully problem? Just stand there and do nothing?" Amadeus asked sarcastically.
"No! You're suppose to let the bully know not to bully your child or otherwise he or she could be in big trouble! But after what you did to him I wish you had done nothing!" Rosemary answered angrily.
"Well, his uncle was yelling at my daughter he was taking the bully's side! What kind of uncle does that?" Amadeus asked.
"Not a nice uncle he's obviously spoils him making him a brat which might be one of the reasons why he's a bully and Darkheart's putting on the nice guy act to make him look good in front of his uncle is not the way to act because his uncle must've spoiled him! But that's still no excuse for beating him up and getting our daughter suspended!" Rosemary shouted.
"Maybe it's better this way she should never to go back to that school ever again! Maybe I should just home school her from now on!" Amadeus shouted.
"No! Amadeus! That's it! You need to stop being overprotective of our daughter and apologize to her right now!" Rosemary shouted back. There was silence in the air nothing but the sound of white noise filled the air this scared the vixen she was afraid that Amadeus might start to yell or scream or might even hit her mother. Amadeus wasn't abusive in any way he was a really nice father but his anger is a different story sometimes he gets so angry that he can't control himself sometimes but luckily he had therapy and can control his anger much better now. But still Amadeus can lose his temper sometimes. Luckily for her that didn't happen, in fact, she heard her father sigh in sadness knowing that his wife was right. "You're right, dear, I'll do that right now and apologize to her." Amadeus said.
She heard footsteps walking upstairs then she heard a knock on the door she already knew who it was and ignored it moments later she heard a second knock she still ignored it. "Melissa? Are you in there?" Amadeus called out. "Go away!" Tailsko shouted. "Look, Melissa, I just want to talk to you." Amadeus called out again. "I say go away!" Tailsko shouted again. The door opened and she heard her father walked inside and felt her father sat on her bed. "Look Melissa, I know you're angry at me and you have every right to be." Amadeus said. "You're damn right I do!" Tailsko barked. "Hey! Watch your language, young lady!" Amadeus ordered. "Look who's talking coming from the father who cussed in school today!" Tailsko shouted as she turned and glared at her father.
Amadeus blushed a bright red and turned his head away from her after she said that he had forgotten about what he did at school today. "Look, I was just angry about what happened how the lunch monitor took his nephew's side over your side and I also didn't want you to get hurt." Amadeus explained. Tailsko sighed as she turned to him. "I know you meant well, daddy, but sometimes you can be overprotective sometimes even in public! Like the time when I was on the beach you kept rubbing sunscreen over my body over and over when I was 5-years old!" Tailsko explained. "I just didn't want you to get sunburn!" Amadeus protested. Tailsko rolled her eyes at him and said. "Dad, we have fur remember?"
Amadeus blushed again. "Oh yeah, I guess I forgot about that but still I was only trying to protect you today!" Amadeus said. "Yeah and thanks to you I got suspended for a week! You're lucky that I didn't get expelled!" Tailsko shouted at him as she slammed her first onto her bed head. "Hey! Don't you use that tone with me young lady! Don't forget who raised you and fed you as long as your living in my house I make the rules around here and I want to keep you safe!" Amadeus shouted pointing his finger at her. "Well, maybe I shouldn't live here anymore since you're overprotective, maybe I should live with Sonic and his parents at least he's not overprotective!" Tailsko shouted back. "Excuse me?" Amadeus asked angrily.
"You heard me father! I should live with Sonic and his parents! In fact...I HATE LIVING WITH YOU FATHER I SOMETIMES WISH YOU WERE NEVER MY FATHER AT ALL!" Tailsko screamed at him. Amadeus was taken aback by this with a shock look on his face he also felt a tear in his eye since he had only one eye due the war incident he couldn't feel a tear in his another eye. He felt like he was about to cry. In the war he dealt with many things death of his bunkmates, kids getting killed, families losing their loved ones, and many more awful things sure he felt bad but not once had he ever cried except the time he lost a friend of his that was close to him but that was nothing compared to what his daughter had said to him. For once, he felt a tear in his eye and was about to cry.
Tailsko's eyes widened in horror and shock when she realized what she had just said to her father she felt tears in her eyes as well as she covered her mouth with guilt and shame. Then without another thought, she dashed out of the room, downstairs, and right out of the door where her mother was dusting the living room. "Melissa?" Rosemary called out to her but the young vixen didn't stop running. Rosemary put down her duster and walked to the doorway to see where her daughter was but she was nowhere in sight. She then heard sobbing coming from upstairs she closed the door behind her and ran upstairs to Tailsko's bedroom and saw her husband sitting on Tailsko's bed with his hands in his face while he sobbed.
"Amadeus!" Rosemary exclaimed she then ran to her husband, sat down on the bed next to him, and put her arm around his shoulder. "Honey, what's wrong?" She asked. Amadeus looked up to find his wife staring at him with concern. He explained what had happened earlier to his wife and continued to cry into his hands. Rosemary was shocked by this never in her life had she thought that Tailsko would say just awful things but then again Amadeus was being overprotective she had expected something to happen but nothing like this. "Oh honey, I'm sure she didn't mean it." Rosemary assured him. "No, she hates me! And I don't blame her I was being overprotective! I'm sorry I didn't listen to you honey." Amadeus said between sobs.
"It's okay, Amadeus, you were worried about our child I forgive you." Rosemary said softly, she then wrapped her arms around him to pull him into the hug the male fox accepted her embrace and hugged her back sobbing into her shoulders as she rubbed his back to calm him down. He remembered that day she lost his friend in the war...
-Flashback-
Many years ago there was a war going on Seaside Island where it was a war between humans and animals it was called "Species War". It was the war about which species was superior to another a human or an animal? Nobody knew how this war got started but one thing was for sure it was the hell-bent war and nobody was going to surrender until the enemy was dead! Amadeus and Rosemary were teenagers when they got married after they completed high school and Rosemary was pregnant with Tailsko at the time as well. Amadeus enrolled into the army because he wanted to make the world a better place just like his father did ages ago. Rosemary wanted a job as well but since she was pregnant at the time she didn't want to risk hurting her baby.
Amadeus and Rosemary lived a good life until one day Amadeus was called in during the war to help out his troop. Rosemary didn't want for her husband to go to war because she was afraid that he might get killed during the war and she had to raise the baby on her own. But she also knew that Amadeus had to go because if he didn't then they would be in danger and Amadeus could lose his job. Amadeus had promised her that he'll be back in time to see their child grow up and be a good father. Rosemary had faith in her husband she knew that he would be alright so she let him go to that war.
At Seaside Island, Amadeus was taking a walk down the street for some fresh air since it was break time for his troop he was allowed to do whatever he wanted until his commander tells him otherwise and the commander also warned him to be careful of enemies or spies as he was going for a walk. Amadeus understood the dangers so he took his pistol and walkie-talkie with him just in case. The commander trusted Amadeus to be alone he was known to be a good soldier so he made him second in command to his troop when the commander wasn't around. Amadeus was delighted to be second in command of his troop like his own father was long ago.
Amadeus walked down the street for a while he smelled the air which smelled as sweet as candy but as he was walking he suddenly felt something tapped his foot this caused him to stop and reached for his pistol he thought it must've been an enemy ready to attack him at any moment. So without another thought, he whipped out his pistol quickly spun around and pointed his gun at the attacker before him. Amadeus was surprised to see who was in front of him as he lowered his pistol in shock. It was a female pink shrew with blue eyes, short spiky pink hair, peach muzzle/inner-fur, pointy muzzle with a black nose, white shirt, blue overalls, white gloves, a short pink tail, and green shoes named Beth the Shrew. A red ball was nearby Amadeus' feet.
Beth had a scared look on her face as she held her hands in the air. "I'm sorry mister I didn't mean to hit you with my ball, I betcha." Beth told him in a shaky voice. Amadeus smiled as he put away his pistol back into his pocket and he then knelt down to her level. "It's OK, little girl, I'm not going to hurt you I'm sorry I scare you like that you see I'm a soldier in the army and I thought you were an enemy." Amadeus explained to her. Beth smiled. "That's alright, mister it was a simple misunderstanding, I betcha." Beth said. "What's your name little girl?" He asked. "I'm sorry mister my parents told me not to tell the stranger my name, I betcha." She answered. "Your parents are right but I'm a soldier and you can always trust a soldier." Amadeus explained to her.
"Well then in that case, my name is Beth the Shrew, I betcha." Beth told him. "Hi Beth, I'm Amadeus Prower the finest soldier in the army." Amadeus said. The two of them shook hands and they let go. "Where are your parents?" He asked. Beth pointed to the old-fashioned fresh market store made of wood behind her. "They're working at the fresh market store that's where we sell our best fruit and I help them out everyday, I betcha." Beth explained. "Mmm, that sounds tasty! I bet your parents are real proud of you for helping them out." Amadeus said. Beth sighed in sadness as she lowered her head. "Yeah they are proud of me but sometimes they're too busy to play with me and I don't have any other kids my age to play with, I betcha." Beth explained.
Amadeus felt sad for Beth then he had an idea he put his hand under her chin and lifted up her face to his. "Say, I have an idea maybe I'll be your friend and play with you and maybe even babysat you while your parents are working." Amadeus told her. Beth's face lit up like a Christmas tree and smiled. "Yeah! That would be great! I love that idea, I betcha." Beth answered him. "Alright, let's play now!" Amadeus said. "Alright!" Beth said. The two of them kicked the ball back and forth to each other until it was time for Beth to go home and Amadeus to go back to his base.
A few months later...
Amadeus and Beth became good friends for a few months and Beth's parents loved Amadeus he was indeed a good babysitter for her when the parents were at work they trusted him to take good care of Beth but all of that changed in a few months.
One day Amadeus and Beth were playing in the grassy fields with the red ball they were trying to get the ball into each other's goals. The goals were two pink sand buckets that Beth used while she was on the beach one day with her parents. They were laughing and having fun with each other. "Hey mister, I betcha I can get my ball into your goal, I betcha!" Beth said. "Oh, no, you don't in case you forgot I am a soldier in the army I'm tougher and stronger than you!" Amadeus teased playfully. Beth rolled the ball toward the goal that Amadeus was blocking while the adult fox was stepping side to side blocking the goal from the shrew. "Hey look! It's Beetle Bailey!" Beth exclaimed as she pointed to the side of the field. "Where?" Amadeus asked.
Beth kicked the ball into the goal with the loud thump causing Amadeus turned his attention to the goal with a ball inside of it. "Made you look!" Beth giggled. "Hey! No fair cheating!" Amadeus said playfully he then ran toward her, tackled her down, and tickled her causing the shrew to laugh and the fox to laugh as well after a while the two of them calmed down and looked at each other with smiles on their faces. "I love playing with you, mister you're like a second father to me, I betcha." Beth said. "I love playing with you as well, Beth, you're like a daughter to me speaking of which my wife is pregnant with my child right now." Amadeus said. "Really? You're going to have a baby, I betcha?" Beth asked. Amadeus nodded at her.
"I know you'll be a great father to your child like you are with me, I betcha." Beth said. Amadeus blushed at those words he will be a great father someday and since Beth was like a daughter to him he's been doing a good job practicing being a good father. "Thank you, Beth." Amadeus said. Beth smiled but then a loud siren went off causing the two of them to jump and stand up from the ground. "What was that?" Beth asked. "It's the war siren there's a battle going on, I must go back to my base and find out what's wrong!" Amadeus answered. "Can I come with you?" She asked. Amadeus shook his head. "No, it's too dangerous you need to go back home and hide." Amadeus answered. "Please make it back alive." Beth pleaded with tears in her eyes. Amadeus knelt down onto his knees to her level and said. "I'll be careful and I'll be back I promise."
Beth then hugged the adult fox who hugged her back as he rubbed her back to assure her that he was going to be alright. After a while, Beth let go and waved him goodbye to which Amadeus did the same and ran off down the road back to his base as Beth ran back to her store to safety as well.
5 Hours Later...
The animal soldiers fought off the human soldiers some of the animal soldiers died during the fight and the human soldiers died as well but in the end the animal soldiers had won as the human soldiers retreated back to their base. The animal soldiers cheered in victory and after a while when things settled down the group of undertakers who were vultures came in with stretcher carriers with white blankets draped on the dead bodies. One of the undertakers, a male gray vulture with red eyes, a yellow beak with a red tip, long lack hair, gray head, dark gray body, a black top hat, a black tuxedo suit, gray tail feathers, and black shoes came to Amadeus with a sad look on his face.
"Excuse me, are you Amadeus Prower?" The vulture asked.
"Yes, is there something wrong?" He asked.
"Are you friends of the deceased?" The vulture asked.
"Who are the deceased?" Amadeus asked.
"The Shrews do you know Beth the Shrew?" The vulture asked. Amadeus nodded his head. The vulture bowed his head in sadness and sighed. "I regret to tell you that Beth the Shrew and her family is no longer with us." The vulture answered. Amadeus' eyes widened in shock and horror when the vulture told him that. "Wait? Wha-wha-What happened?" He stuttered. The vulture explained while Amadeus ran back to his base Beth had gone back to her house but when she did she found her parents dead with knife marks on their necks. Beth was about to leave when two human soldiers jumped out and grabbed her. She tried to escape but the men were stronger than her then one of them stabbed her in the neck while the other grabbed a rock and started beating her until she stopped moving after that they ran out of the store to the battle field he was just in.
Amadeus felt his heart dropped into his stomach he couldn't believe what he had just heard it couldn't be true he had just seen Beth earlier that day and she was alive and well but now hearing that she got killed by two humans made him sad and angry at the same time! He growled in anger. "WHERE ARE THEY WHERE ARE THOSE TWO MEN THAT ATTACK HER?" Amadeus asked as he grabbed the vulture by his shirt. The vulture pointed to the two bodies draped in white blankets. Amadeus ran to the bodies and uncovered them it shown to be two Caucasian-American human men with green and blue eyes, short black hair, round ears, normal nose and mouth, green army uniforms, green army helmets, and black boots.
They had bullet wounds in their hearts Amadeus then realized this was the same men he had killed earlier during the battle. Amadeus began kick the dead men even though they were already dead he didn't care he then knelt down and pounded his fist into them very hard until blood was oozing on his hands. Two of his friends: a male green chimpanzee and a male red lion grabbed the adult fox and held him back. "Calm down there, Amadeus." The lion said softly to him. "They're already dead you need to let it go." The chimp told him as well. Amadeus eventually calm down he knew his friends were right. Then they let go of him and ran toward the other bodies to find where Beth was.
After a while, Amadeus ran to the last draped over body he knelt down, pulled back the sheet, and found who he was looking for but now he wished he had never found her. Laying before him was Beth with her eyes closed and her hands folded on her chest like she was holding a flower before she died. Her neck was sliced with a red gash while her forehead had a huge red wound on it. Amadeus felt tears in his eyes as she saw her dead. 'This is all my fault I should've never left Beth alone I should've stay with her and maybe she would still be alive right now.' Amadeus thought to himself He then sobbed as he lifted the dead shrew, held her close to him, and rocked her back and forth like a mother would to a baby as he sobbed uncontrollably. The soldiers, the commander, and the undertakers watched this with sad looks on their faces. The soldiers and the undertakers took off their helmets and held them to their chest to show sign of respect and the commander cried into his hands as well. It was a sad day at Seaside Island.
-End of Flashback-
Amadeus still has awful memories of that day he even has nightmares where he and Beth are in the grassy fields then all of a sudden the sky turns blood-red as the ground began to break up Amadeus tries to save Beth and grabbing her hand but in the end Beth always fell down into the fiery pits of Hell. He even had nightmares about it being Tailsko instead of Beth he was afraid that he might lose his daughter one day like he did to Beth. And now he did but she didn't die she instead yelled at him saying that she hates him for what he did at school today. "It's all my fault Rosemary, I should've never left Beth alone inside her house I should've followed her to make sure it was safe and she's still be alive to this day." Amadeus said between sobs.
"There was nothing you could've done even if you could've save her you were outnumbered two to one and you needed to do your duty there was a battle going on." Rosemary said softly. "I know but it felt like I should've done something!' Amadeus sobbed. Rosemary hushed her husband as she rubbed his back gently. After a while Amadeus felt a bit better, Rosemary and Amadeus let go of each other. "Oh Rosemary, what am I going to do? How can I apologize to my daughter to let her know that I won't be overprotective anymore?" Amadeus asked. "Well, there is one thing you can do." Rosemary said. "What's that?" He asked. She pointed to his nightstand where his medal board is. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that there is one day to let Melissa know that I'm not overprotective." The fox said.
Meanwhile, Tailsko flew until she spotted Sonic's house. It was a large blue house with a red rooftop, large windows below, and two small windows above, a cement pathway leading to the small set of stairs, and a large white door leading inside the hedgehog's house. Tailsko landed on the front porch she banged on the door several times until the door opened to show Sonic standing there while eating a chili dog in his hand. "Hey Tailsko what's..." He began but stopped when he saw that Tailsko had tears in her eyes and a sad frown on her face. Sonic shoved the rest of his chili dog into his mouth and swallowed it quickly since it was small he didn't choke. "Tailsko?" Sonic asked.
The orange vixen then hugged the blue hedgehog as she began to sob uncontrollably the blue hedgehog hugged her back and stroked her back gently to calm her down. The hedgehog picked her up, closed the door behind him, and dashed upstairs toward his bedroom. Sonic's bedroom was large with blue walls, red rugged floor, a nightstand with a clock, a portrait of his family, a photo of him and Tailsko, a lamp, CD Player, headphones, Music CDs, and a stopwatch, a brown dresser on the right side nearby a door, a large blue bed with cyan pillows and blue blanket, a large TV on the desk near the end of his bed, a game console inside the desk, a collection of video games next to the console, and a doorway leading to the hallway.
Sonic placed Tailsko onto the bed next to him. "Are you alright little sis?" Sonic asked. She shook her head at him. "What's wrong then? Is it what Darkheart did to you today because if it was..." Sonic began as he shook his fist in the air. Tailsko shook her head again. "No, it's not Darkheart this time." She answered. "Then what happened?" He asked. She explained to him what had happened earlier at her house about how she hated her father and ran away her home. "Whoa, Tailsko! You really did that?" Sonic asked. Tailsko sat on her knees on Sonic's bed as Sonic did the same to face each other. "Yes!" Tailsko cried out. Tailsko threw her arms around Sonic hugging him tight Sonic returned the hug and rubbed her back again to soothe her.
"Sonic?" Bernie called out. "In here mom!" Sonic called back to her. The female adult hedgehog came in with her husband Jules with concern looks on their faces. "Is everything alright we heard..." Bernie began but stopped when she noticed that Tailsko was in the room with him. "Melissa?" Jules asked. Tailsko looked up to see Jules and Bernie standing there. "Oh hello Mr. And Mrs. Hedgehog." Tailsko sniffled. "Oh Melissa, what's wrong?" Bernie asked, running to Sonic's bed along with Jules with concern looks. Sonic explained to his parents about what had happened when he was finished the parents were shocked to hear such a thing. "Oh dear, that is awful." Jules said. "Mom, Dad, would it be alright if she stays here for a while until things cool down?" Sonic asked.
Jules and Bernie nodded their heads at the two of them. "Of course, she's always welcome in our home." Jules answered. "Really?" Tailsko asked, looking up from Sonic's shoulder. "Of course dear, I'll go call your parents to tell you where you are while Jules orders pizza for dinner." Bernie answered. "My parents already know where I am I already yelled at my father about that." Tailsko said, looking down in shame. "Well, I'll call them anyway just in case." Bernie said. Tailsko nodded. Then the two parents left the room and shut the door behind them. "Feel better?" Sonic asked. "A little but I'm okay now." Tailsko answered. "Good." Sonic said. Then Sonic and Tailsko hugged each other again in happiness.
The door opened slightly as Bernie peeked her head inside to ask Sonic and Tailsko what they would like on their pizza when she noticed that Sonic and Tailsko were hugging this caught the two friends attention as they turned to the adult female blue hedgehog smiling at them. "Oh sorry Sonic dear, I didn't realize you were hugging your girlfriend." Bernie said. Sonic blushed a cherry red as he covered his face in embarrassment. "MOM! She's not my girlfriend she's my best friend!" Sonic groaned. Tailsko giggled at this. "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you, honey." Bernie said, giggling. "That's okay, mom." Sonic said. "Come on down when you two are ready, OK?" Bernie asked. Sonic and Tailsko nodded then she left the room.
Three Hours Later...
Sonic and Tailsko were in the bedroom playing a video game together they were playing a two-player game on the console while they had two plates of two slices of pepperoni pizza on each side along with two cans of Pepsi on each side. "We're almost there!" Tailsko said, tapping furiously on her controller. "That's right, little sis just one more hit then we'll defeat that boss!" Sonic agreed, tapping furiously on his controller as well. Eventually they defeated the boss with a victory theme playing in the background as the two players escaped from the exploding ship with a villain throwing a temper tantrum that he's been defeated.
Sonic and Tailsko cheered as they high-five each other after they had calmed down Sonic turned off the console with his controller then Sonic and Tailsko finished off their pizza and washed it down with their Pepsi after they slurped down their soda they burped with delight. They cleaned up the mess in the bedroom but as Sonic and Tailsko were about to leave the bedroom they heard a doorbell rang from downstairs. "Who could that be?" Tailsko asked. "Beats me, it must be a door to door salesman." Sonic joked. The two of them laughed until they heard Bernie's voice calling out to Tailsko. "Melissa! Your father is here to see you!" Bernie called out. Tailsko dropped her can then she ran toward the bed, lifted the blanket, ducked underneath the bed, and covered it back up.
Sonic ran to the area where Tailsko was hiding he knelt down on his knees and lifted up the covers to see Tailsko ducking and covering under the bed. "What's wrong Tailsko?" Sonic asked. "I'm still angry about my father and I'm a bit scared about what he might say after I told him off back at home." She answered. "Relax Tailsko, I'm sure he calmed down by now and you have to face him sometime he is your father after all, if you like I could be with you when he talks to you." Sonic assured. Tailsko nodded and said. "I would like that a lot Sonic and you're right I have to face my father sometime which is right now!" Then after that the vixen crawled out from under the bed and the hedgehog helped the vixen up from the floor.
Sonic and Tailsko were about to leave when Amadeus was standing there in the doorway with a sad concerned look on his face. "Hey Melissa." Amadeus said softly. Tailsko just huffed and turned her back away from him. "Oh, hello father." Tailsko said angrily. Sonic sensed that this was going to get personal. "I'll leave my room for a second while you two deal things out." Sonic said as he quickly dashed out of his room and downstairs to the living room where his parents were. Amadeus closed the door behind him, walked toward the bed, and sat down next to where Tailsko was standing. "Look Millie, I understand that you're angry at me about what had happened at school today but you got to understand I was only trying to protect you because I didn't want to lose you..." Amadeus began.
"Yeah, yeah, I know like you lost your adult friend in the war." Tailsko said as she rolled her eyes in anger. "No she wasn't an adult friend she was a child friend she was like a daughter to me." Amadeus corrected. Tailsko gasped as her eyes widened in shock she turned around to her father with a shock look on her face. "A child friend? She was like a daughter to you." Tailsko asked. Amadeus nodded his head at her. "Come on sit down and I'll tell you a whole story." Amadeus said patting on the bed to motion her to sit down next to him. Tailsko walked and sat down next to her father on the bed then Amadeus explained his story about what had happened in the war.
Once he was finished with the story her father told her she felt very sad and it also explains why he was overprotective sometime she also felt guilty for what she had said earlier that day. "Daddy, I had no idea I didn't know." Tailsko said. "I know sweetheart, that's why Beth gave me this two days before she died." Amadeus said. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a locket he opened it to show a picture of him and Beth smiling while hugging each other like father and daughter. "Beth's mother took a picture of us and made it locket side for her to put inside for me and Beth gave it to me as a friendship gift to remember her by and now I like for you to have and put in any picture you like." Amadeus explained
Tailsko smiled as she looked at her father. "Thank you daddy but are you sure you want to give this to me?" She asked. "Of course, Beth's mother made two lockets of me and Beth just in case if one got lost or I give it to my future child someday." He assured her. Tailsko felt tears in her eyes she then began to cry she hugged her father very tightly and sobbed onto his shoulders Amadeus returned the hug and rubbed her back to calm her down. "I'm sorry daddy! I'm so sorry I didn't mean about what I said about you earlier! I'm so sorry I don't hate you! I'm sorry! I love you! I really do love you!" She sobbed on her father's shoulders. "Shh, it's okay Melissa, it's okay. I forgive you darling. I'm sorry I shouldn't have been overprotective of you from now on I'll be moderate protective of you is it a deal?" Amadeus assured. "Yes, daddy." She said, nodding her head. "OK then." Amadeus said. The two of them hugged for a moment.
Several Hours Later...
Sonic, Jules, and Bernie were sitting on a large purple couch they were watching TV Jules and Bernie were laughing about what the comedian making jokes on TV while Sonic was playing his handheld game console not paying attention to what's going on the TV. Then they heard Amadeus and Tailsko walking downstairs with smiles on their faces while holding hands they looked up to find the father and daughter getting along just fine. "Is everything alright now?" Sonic asked. "Yep! We're cool as cucumbers now!" Tailsko said giving her friend a thumbs up. "Well, I'm glad things turned out alright in the end." Bernie said. "Now if you excuse us we better be leaving now we have to deal with the suspension problem at school." Amadeus told them. "Alright you two come back whenever you like and bring your wife next time." Jules told them. "OK!" Amadeus said giving him a thumbs up as well. "Wait before we go can I say goodbye to Sonic?" Tailsko asked. Amadeus nodded.
Tailsko walked toward the blue hedgehog who got up from the couch and walked up to her. "Bye Sonic, thank you for your help!" Tailsko said she then wrapped her arms around him into a hug and Sonic wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into the hug as well. "You're welcome, Tailsko, anytime you need help come to me to talk to." Sonic said. Sonic and Tailsko hugged as Amadeus, Bernie, and Jules smiled at this. "Aww." They said in unison. Then they let go of each other. "Care to take a picture with me Sonic?" Tailsko asked. "Of course, why?" Sonic asked. "It's a surprise." Tailsko answered. Jules smiled he always wanted to take a picture of his son and his new friend so he got out his cell-phone and pointed it at the two friends. "Say cheese you two." Jules said. "CHEESE!" They both said then Jules snapped the camera and took a picture. "Can you make that picture locket size for me, please?" Tailsko asked. "Of course! Be right back!" Jules said then ran upstairs to his job.
After a while Jules came back with a locket sized picture of her and Sonic and handed it o her. "Thank you!" She said, she then pulled a picture out of Amadeus and Beth and placed it into her pocket she then placed the picture into her new locket and shown it to Sonic. "Wow! That looks cool!" Sonic said. "It sure is!" Tailsko said she then explained the story about her father's life and how he got a locker for her. "Now it's a locket of me and you, my best friend Sonic." Tailsko said, showing him a locket. "That's cool I have to get one sometime!" Sonic said. "I'll see what I can do Sonic!" Amadeus told him. "Now come on its time to go, Millie!" Amadeus told her. "OK!" Tailsko called out.
"Would you guys like some pizza to take with you before you go?" Bernie asked. "Sure!" Tailsko said grabbing a plate, taking some slices of pizza on the plate, and wrapped in foil. "Thank you!" Tailsko said. "You're welcome." Bernie said. "Alright Millie, we really got to go." Amadeus giggled. "OK!" Tailsko called out she then quickly dashed to her father and waved bye to the hedgehog family who waved back at them then they headed out the door. "Wow, what the day!" Sonic said. "You said it son, it was nice having your girlfriend here!" Jules agreed. Sonic's cheeks turned a bright red as he glared at his father. "DAD! SHE'S JUST MY FRIEND!" Sonic bellowed as he pounded his fist on the couch. Jules and Bernie were taken aback by this.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to raise my voice like that it's just been a crazy day." Sonic apologized. Jules smiled as he patted his son on his head. "That's OK son, I shouldn't have teased you like that." Jules said, smiling at him. "Alright Sonic, that's enough excitement for tonight it's time to go to bed." Bernie told her son. "Aw mom, do I have to go to bed early?" He moaned. Bernie glared at her son with an angry look on her face. Sonic grinned sheepishly and said. "Kidding, mom, I was just kidding! It's time for bed!" The blue hedgehog then dashed upstairs, to the bathroom to do his business, brushed his teeth, and went back to his bedroom to go to bed for a good night's sleep.
A/N: End of Chapter 10. Aww, it's looks like Amadeus and Tailsko finally made up now Amadeus isn't as overprotective now he's moderate protective which is a good thing. Protecting your children is one thing but being overprotective is going too far so always be moderate protective of your children. Poor Amadeus and Poor Beth! No wonder Amadeus was overprotective of Tailsko after that incident with Darkheart in Chapter 2 he didn't want to lose a child friend just like he did back in the war. R.I.P. Beth the Shrew (at least in this story). Good thing this is only fanfiction if this was offical then some fans would go crazy at this! I apologize to all you Beth the Shrew fans out there if you ever watch the Sonic Boom cartoon. I wanted Amadeus to have a reason why he was so overprotective of Tailsko and there it is! All seems well...for now that is but what will happen in the next chapter? Wait to find out Chapter 11 is coming soon...if nothing gets in the way that is!
Fun Fact #1: Amadeus being a helicopter parent by following Tailsko to school and everywhere was inspired by two episodes of my two favorite cartoons: "The Meddler" from The Amazing World of Gumball and "Peeping Mom" from The Simpsons. It's the mixture of inspiration from both ideas with my own original mix in it. The first part was funny with Amadeus being oveprotective and embarassing Tailsko in front of the whole class but the second part was sad with Tailsko chewing out her father and telling him that she hates him, Amadeus' backstory, and the apologly at the end. But it was back to funny when Jules teased Sonic about Tailsko being his girlfriend that was so funny!
Fun Fact #2: The part where Amadeus makes the volcano experiment wrong was the reference to both the PowerPuff Girls and The Simpsons episodes: Bart the Genius and Get Back Mojo. Where Professor when he was young made the monster volcano with too much water, red food coloring, and chemicals and Bart mixing the wrong chemicals together making the expolosion of green goop around the classroom making him green as well. The part where Bart blew up the classroom with green goop and making himself green was so funny!
Fun Fact #3: Soar the Eagle and Beth the Shrew were characters from the Sonic cartoon named Sonic Boom. I made Soar the Eagle Darkheart's uncle in this story because I figured that Darkheart would have an authority figure he would respect and make Darkheart look like an angel from Heaven so he can get things done his way but it's all the act to make himself look good and make his enemies look bad. Will Soar ever find out the truth about his nephew? Only time will tell. Beth the Shrew is a cute little shrew who wants to be friends with Robotnik but unaware of how evil Robotnik is but she's so cute when she wants to be friends with people. I feel bad killing her off in this story but I had to find the way to make Amadeus overprotective again this is only fanfiction and Beth is alive and well in the cartoon that is. Kintobor is from Sonic comics where Kintobor in some version is the Anti-Robotnik in the alternate universe while in other versions he's a good doctor before he turned into an evil Dr. Robotnik. I made Kintobor from the Anti-Universe because I like him better than the other backstory where's he's turned evil. I made him the science teacher and Tailsko's favorite student in this story because I figured he would be a good teacher for science. Who knows I might put them in future chapters later on. (I don't own any of these characters they belong to SEGA but I do own this story!)
Fun Fact #4: Amadeus' flashback was inspired by the Family Guy "Thanksgiving" episode where Kevin Swanson who is Joe's son come back from the war alive and well only for Joe to find out that Kevin left the war because of what happened there after the kid's grandfather or someone like that was killed during the fight. That gave me the idea of Amadeus' backstory for the reason why he was overprotective about his daugther because he didn't want to lose her like he did with Beth the Shrew. Only difference is that Amadeus didn't leave the war he stood in the war like a true hero would. But it's still very sad.
Fun Fact #5: The part where Sonic and Tailsko were playing the video game together and how they were beating the final boss is the reference to the Sonic game named Sonic Mania where they have to fight Robotnik with all seven Chaos emeralds in order to beat the game! I thought it would be funny to make Sonic game reference in these stories. Sonic Mania is the great game but the special stages to get the emeralds are VERY hard! Grr! But still fun though.
