Alright guys, be kind this is my very first fic and I'm not quite sure I'm doing this right. Not sure if I'll continue or not but wanted to hear your thoughts before moving forward. Any who enjoy and let me know what you think.

Chapter one:
Mercedes POV:
Mercedes Jones was sitting in her bedroom packing for this upcoming move back to Lima Ohio. She left Lima in 7th grade due to her parents opening up a practice in San Francisco California and has lived in Cali for 4 years. With the declined health of her grandmother her family has decided to move back to Lima Ohio.
Mercedes is looking at all the memories of her past life in Lima. She's excited to go back to see her grandmother but there are also those feelings that make her sad because Lima was not the best experience for her. There were lots of ups and downs while growing up in Lima. She was known as the chubby girl growing up in Lima. Not many friends at all but now people would call her the ugly duckling that has now grown up to be a gorgeous goddess.
One good and bad thing about Lima was her ex best friend Sam Evans. They grew up together. He was everything she wanted in a best friend. He was kind, loving and protected her against anyone. That is until they got into middle school and he started treating her like she no longer existed. Towards the end of 7th grade he didn't even notice her anymore. He would walk right past her and laugh at the jokes his friends said about her. She was extremely hurt and when it was time to move she didn't even bother to tell him. One day she was living as a Lima looser and now she was living her best life in California leaving close friends and a handsome boyfriend Alex. They have been dating for the past year (sophomore year).
Mercedes hears her mom rushing her to finish up packing so they can get on the road back to Lima where she will now have to deal with the bullies she grew up with and that includes Sam Evans.
Mom I'm coming, packing up my last box. Mercedes heads down stairs and sees her family loading up the truck.
Mercedes I know this move is not what you wanted right now but let's give it a try and see how everything goes. You still have a week before school starts in Lima to get acquainted with friends.
Mercedes rolls her eyes huffs, Mom there is no one in Lima I want to get acquainted with.
I understand honey but will have to make the best of it. You have two more years left of high school and you can choose to come back to Cali if you want to pursue your dreams.
Okay mom will see how this goes but don't say I didn't warn you, Lima is not the place for me anymore and I'm sure I will be asking to come back to Cali.
Okay baby as long as you give it a try, your father and I will be happy.
Mr. Jones yells, alright ladies let's get on the rd. and get to Lima sooner than later.
Sam's POV
Where did the summer go I feel like we just got out of school? Quinn rolls her eyes and tells her boyfriend that it's been months and the summer is coming to an end.
Well baby now we can focus on being the "It couple" and win prom king and Queen. That's what you want right? Sam huffs and says; yes darling I'm excited this will be a good year.
Yes it will be my handsome man, nothing will stop us. I love you so much!
I love you too Quinn.
Let's go upstairs to my room for some alone time. My parents will be gone for a few hours and have to go pick up Stevie and Stacy from camp.
Not right now honey I have to meet up with Santana and Britney for Cheerios practice, Coach has us starting today since school starts in a week.
Okay darling call me when you're done with practice. I love you Quinn. I love you more Sam. Quinn approaches Sam and kisses him passionate and Sam grabs her and pushes her against the door. Quinn immediately pushes him off and gives one quick peck before leaving out of the door.
Same groans as he now has an extreme hard on. Sam goes upstairs and rubs one out in the shower and takes a quick nap.
Stacy comes into his room and jumps on his bed, Get up Sammy, Get up. What is it Stacy? Why are you jumping up and down and waking me up. I was having an awesome dream.
I know I heard you saying Quinn's name what were you guys doing.
Sam's face instantly grew red and was tounge tied umm iiii weee were singing a song.
Can I hear the song Stacy Asks?
Maybe another time as Sam quickly exists his room going down the stairs to be greeted by his parents.
Hi honey Mrs. Evans says as she approached her son, how did you sleep? I slept good mom. I was tired and took a quick nap. What's for dinner? We ordered take out so go ahead and dig in.
Oh Sam, I got a call today from the Jones family and found out that there moving back to Lima. Remember how you and their Daughter Mercedes use to be best friends? You two were inseparable all through Elementary School. Not sure what happened the last few years they lived in Lima but you guys were so close. What happened?
Sam thinks about what happened not quite remembering every detail, that's a lie he did but was ashamed to admit that he was rotten to her when they got into middle school because he wanted to fit in and be cool and hanging around the chubby girl hurt his image. Even though he regrets it and was hurt when Mercedes moved, he still did not want to admit it to his parents.
Wow mom that's great, it will be nice to see her again, it's been 4years since we seen the Jones family. I wonder what Mercedes is like now?
Well her mother told me Mercedes is not too happy to move back to Lima and wanted to stay in California. She really did not want to leave her boyfriend and friends but she is willing to give it a chance.
Sam thinks, she has a boyfriend, really? Mercedes! Well it has been 4 years and things may have changed, I guess.
Maybe you can introduce her to some of your friends. Maybe make her feel more welcome while adjusting back at school next week.
Sam smiles and shrugs going to grab dinner and watch more sports before calling Quinn.
Mercedes POV
It's been a few days since they have made it back to Lima and Mercedes has been spending most of her time with her grandmother or singing in her room. Today was her first day back at school and she was kind of looking forward to it. The kids she grew up with new Mercedes as the geeky, chubby girl who wore baggy clothes and had no taste for fashion. What they will see tomorrows is not what they will remember seeing. Mercedes was not only gorgeous and had the body of a vixen, she had the confidence now. She was still sweet and kind but anyone would be out there damn mind to say anything to her now.
What should I wear? Mercedes asked herself as she looked through her closet. It was still warm in Lima so Mercedes was excited she can wear the outfit she picked. She picked a faux leather black knee high skirt with a black skin tight shirt that showed just a little cleavage with red short heels that made her legs look fantastic and her ass on point. She wore her down her back in loose waves and applied very minimal makeup with a light red lip to match her heels. She wore her diamond studs and her necklace her friends purchased before she left Cali. She truly missed them and her now ex-boyfriend. She decided and told him it would be best if they stayed friends but long distance would be too hard. He took it hard but understood at the end.
Mercedes made her way down stairs her parents had already left early that morning to open up their practice. They were both Doctors and stayed extremely busy.
Mercedes grabbed an apple headed to the garage and was excited to see her baby. Her Beautiful bright red orange mustang. She had bribed her parents to buy her this car when they told her about the move back to Lima. One of the perks she got for moving to Lima. Plus she was still a straight A student and top of her class.
Mercedes hopped in the car put her sun glasses on threw her bag in the back and peeled off headed to school, yes life will be just fine she said to herself.
Sam's Pov:
Sitting in the parking lot with Puck and Mike waiting for Quinn to get there so they can start the first day of school and walk in together.
So Sam how was your summer with Quinn anything exciting?
No not really we went to a few concerts, the beach and watched movies, you know the typical things. How about you Puck?
You know me cleaning pools, banging chicks and having fun, Puck says laughing slapping Sam on the back.
Whatever Puck, How about you Mike, what did do most of the summer? No reply, Mike hey Mike are you there what the hell are you looking at. All Mike could do is point at the bombshell walking towards them.
Sam's eyes went wide and mouth wide open. Was he seeing this correctly? Was that Mercedes Jones his child hood best friend?
Well I be damned who in the hell is that? Puck says raising his eye brows ready to jump at the chance to speak to her.
Sam is still staring at Mercedes checking her out from head to toe, not sure where to start. The girl who is walking towards him was the most beautiful girl he has ever seen She was a walking wet dream!
All Sam can do was walk closer to her and yell Mercedes! Mercedes! Remember me Sam Evans (god did I really just make a fool of myself and say that out loud)
Mercedes stops and turns around taking her glasses off and looks at Sam with a smirk.
Oh hey Sam. Mercedes approaches him going in for a quick hug that was way too quick for his liking. He instantly missed her body wrapped around him and shivered as soon as she made contact.
He still can't say anything to her just stare and gawk at how beautiful she is. Mercedes notices Sam is tongue tied.
So Sam nice to see you. I'll see you around, I guess. Mercedes turns around with a wink and heads into the school.
Sam still standing there when his friends approach him.
Puck instantly hits his arm and says; WTF was that dude? You stood there and did not say anything. Do you know her? Who is she? I mean damn did you see that ass. Wow man she looks like she stepped out of a magazine. That girl mmmmmmmmm
Finally Sam says what the hell just happened? Yes I know her and so do you. Remember Mercedes Jones you used to pick on and bully growing up? The same girl you told me to stop being friends with or I would be a lame just like her?
Puck chuckles and says, sorry man but your stupid forever listening to me. Let me go find Mercedes and apologize. Damn that girl makes me feel all kinds of ways. Puck says running into the school.
Mike shakes his head and tells Sam he lost his mind for ever dropping Mercedes just because Puck told him too. Mike instantly runs into the school to find out what Puck is doing
Sam turns around as hears Quinn approaching, Fuck my life Sam says as he plasters a quick smile and kisses Quinn.
What is going on? I'm getting out of my car and everyone I pass keeps talking about the sexy chocolate girl? Do you know her Sam? Who is she?
That Quinn is Mercedes Jones Sam says with a sigh. As Sam and Quinn approach the school all Sam can think about is what he will say to Mercedes next time he sees her. How can he apologize for dropping her for popularity?
