Several hours pass and the sun is fully up when they begin to hear sounds from the laptop so they all head over to pay attention to it.

Hope groans as she stirs awake and her eyes flutter open.

"Rise and shine, pumpkin cake." A familiar accented female voice can be heard as Hope continues to stir awake and sit up.

She blinks a few times and blurrily makes out a redhead yet can't fully recognize her.

"Ah, there you are. How do you feel?" the woman wonders how Hope feels when she sees that she's more awake.

"Like I get hit over the head with a branch." Hope responds blandly to the question and the woman chuckles slightly.

"Let me introduce myself. I am Aurora de Martel." Aurora introduces herself, causing Hope to blink a few times, putting her in more focus, while her family who are watching the necklace seem horrified by this development.

"Wait, aren't you supposed to be wrapped in a sheet, under a sleeping spell?" Hope has seemed to recognize Aurora's hair and her name, sounding stunned that she's awake.

Aurora just cutely shrugs in response to this question yet doesn't give a verbal answer, instead changing the subject.

"My apologies about your leg. I didn't have the skill set to stitch it up." Aurora apologizes to Hope about not fixing her leg which has Hope stare at her leg that's still wrapped in her one pant leg.

"So, am I here for you to kill me?" Hope is very confused as she questions if Aurora brought her there to kill her and she chuckles at this again.

"No, I brought you here to protect you. It's a good thing, too. If I hadn't sent someone to get you, you would have run right into the people who want you dead." Aurora simply explains that she's actually protecting Hope, revealing that the sound Hope heard, and prayed was civilization, belonged to the people who want to kill her.

"Um, thanks. I guess. Look, I really have to go." Hope awkwardly thanks Aurora before making it clear that she has to leave as she struggles in standing to her feet.

"Oh no you don't. You have lost quite a bit of blood, besides I'm the safest person you can be around. Not to mention that this is the safest place that you could be. This place is surrounded with protection charms, cloaking spells, along with the fact the inside is very roomy and has WiFi." Aurora stops Hope from trying to leave by stating that she lost a lot of blood before claiming that she's the safest person that Hope can be with then attempts to persuade Hope with the luxuries the building has, like how safe it is for her and the fact it has WiFi.

Hope stares at Aurora, seemingly intrigued by the offer as she sits back down, also realizing that she has a point in how much blood she has lost.

"That is a very lovely necklace. Where'd you get it?" Aurora asks where Hope got the necklace she's wearing after calling it lovely, changing the topic again.

"Thanks, my mom gave it to me." Hope thanks Aurora for the compliment on her necklace then states that her mother gave it to her.

"There are quite a few auras around that necklace meaning various spells have been placed on it. What spells are they?" Aurora points out and makes it obvious that she can sense that the necklace Hope's wearing has more than one spell on it, making Hope momentarily nervous before quickly covering it up.

"Uh, three different things. One spell is a protection charm. It ensures that I can't be killed by anyone but myself. The second is an enhancing spell, which allows all of my senses to work even if I'm in the worst of conditions. I still have access to them." Hope informs Aurora of what two of the spells around the necklace do, having Aurora look impressed.

"And what of the third spell?" Aurora wonders what the third spell does and Hope realizes that she said the necklace was spelled to do three different things.

"It, um, it allows me to communicate with anyone I want, so long as I think about them and they have an open mind." Hope hesitantly answers the question, not entirely liking the fact that she just shared all of this information, but Aurora just nods understandingly.

"Well, those are some very useful spells to be placed on a necklace. I'm surprised how stupid the people holding you captive were, seeing as how they were specifically picked for their intelligence." Aurora states that the spells are very helpful before changing the subject yet again, this topic confusing Hope.

"What do you mean?" Hope decides to voice her confusion, unsure of the topic that her captor chose.

"Oh, well only a fool would be unable to tell that you, Hope Mikaelson, don't have any magic. Despite the fact the only reason you were grabbed to begin with was because of your witchcraft." Aurora confesses that she knows Hope no longer has magic then she reveals that her former captors wanted her for her magic.

"But you knew that. I'm assuming that's why you surrendered your magic." Aurora makes the assumption Hope got rid of her magic due to her old captors wanting her for it after she declares that Hope already knew the revelation she shared.

Hope awkwardly nods in agreement, confirming that her assumption is right, then looks around the building as she's not sure what to say.

"Are you hungry?" Aurora speaks up after a long moment of silence, questioning if Hope is hungry and this question immediately sparks Hope's attention.

"I'm starving actually." Hope corrects her by saying that she's starving and Aurora smiles happily with a small giggle.

"In that case, stay here. I have to get groceries." Aurora advises Hope to stay there while she goes to get groceries then begins to leave but turns on her heel to face Hope again and add something.

"No one knows that this place is here, making it the safest place in the world to be. And I will be honest, I put a lot of effort in making this a safe haven for you to keep you safe from the people who want you dead, along with the ones who want you alive. Do me a favor, keep your mouth shut about both me and this location. I'm trying to get back in your father's good graces and I would hate to have to take his daughter away from him simply because you couldn't keep a secret." Aurora indirectly threatens Hope to stay quiet about the safe haven she made for her, claiming that she's most likely only keeping her safe as a way to earn Klaus' respect, then takes her leave so she can get groceries to make Hope something to eat.

Hope boredly sits there for a few moments until she determinedly grabs her necklace yet her hand being on the charm blocks the camera, so the group can't see anything which causes Lizzie to simply close the laptop.

"So, she's in arguably safe hands at the moment. I am mildly comforted yet also mildly terrified by this development." Rebekah expresses that she's both comforted and terrified at the fact Hope is in Aurora's care after breaking the moment of silence.

Another moment of silence passes when Roman is suddenly struck with a realization.

"I know where she is, I can go get her." Roman announces that he knows where Hope is, getting the room's attention as they all stare at him.

"How about you just tell us instead?" Rebekah suggests that Roman simply tell them where she is and he casts her a significant look.

"I can't, remember? I'm physically incapable of communicating with you about these kinds of things." Roman reminds Rebekah that he can't tell any of them what he knows, as it would endanger one of their enemies and she just huffs in annoyance.

"Fortunately, you don't have to say anything." Klaus indirectly brings up a solution about Roman not needing to speak then vamp speeds over to him, which has Roman quickly deduce what he's about to do.

"No, wait." Roman attempts to protest this but Klaus places his hands on the sides of Roman's head to force himself in his mind, much like Rebekah did before him.

Klaus forces himself into Roman's head, only to see nothing substantial, just flashes of Hope, but he also sees one with Antoinette yet it's only the one.

The flashes of Hope that he sees consists of their near kiss, Roman comforting her before she felt that her wolf gene was triggered, him waving to her while he was playing soccer, when he pointed out that her arm had black veins while she was torturing him, when he had tucked her hair behind her ear, and him finding out that she had gotten suspended, before he lands on a new memory that seems to have happened during the road trip before his betrayal.

Hope and Roman are in his car with Roman driving and it is nightfall.

"Okay, I knew your hair had emo tendencies but your music?" Hope giggles as she makes fun of his music and he chuckles slightly.

"Shade thrown and caught. Quit judging. Just give me that and lean in." Roman claims that he caught the shade she was throwing at him then demands he give him her phone.

"No, I'll do it. My mom would kill us if she found out that we were taking selfies while driving." Hope denies handing him the phone, stating that she'll do it and believes that her mother would kill them if she knew they were taking selfies and driving.

"But compared to me binding my werewolf side, I'm pretty sure that it would just be a misjudgment." Hope sighs sadly as she realizes that Hayley would probably have a higher chance of killing her if she knew she was going to bind her werewolf after she takes the selfie with Roman.

"Did anyone tell you about the binding spell?" Roman questions if anyone told Hope about the binding spell, causing her to look at him in confusion.

"I don't know what you mean." Hope chooses to tell him that she doesn't understand his words and he sighs as he pulls over the car then parks it, confusing her more.

"Hope, I've met a couple of werewolves who have undergone the binding spell and none of them survived. This process… it could kill you so just promise me that whatever you do, don't stop breathing." Roman confesses to Hope that a few of the werewolves he's met have done the binding spell and died from it then hesitates in telling her that she could die too before making her promise him that she won't stop breathing.

"I didn't know that. My aunt said nothing about that but then again, I just kind of cut her off after she said it would be painful." Hope looks horrified by what Roman has told her then reveals that she cut her aunt off before she could say anything else about it.

"Not like it matters, I'm doing this. To get my mom back." Hope pushes down her fear of possibly dying from the binding spell, claiming that she's doing it solely to get her mother back.

"Hey, look at me. If you don't want to do this, just say the word and I'll head back to the school." Roman shifts in his drivers' seat as he tells Hope to look at him, which she does, and he gives her the choice of if she doesn't want to go through with the spell.

"This is the only way I can get my mom back. I'm not backing out of this Roman, even if there's a chance I might die. I protect my family and I'll keep protecting them until my last breath. Regardless of how short that might be." Hope makes it very clear that she isn't going to be swayed from getting her mother back and Roman nods in understanding of this.

"Alright, but the second you get uncomfortable or get cold feet, just let me know." Roman agrees to the fact that she won't be backing out but gives her another choice, telling her to let him know if she changes her mind.

Hope gives him a very appreciative look as she gets thoughtful and decides to speak up on it.

"I have a question that I need to ask. Now I know you won't have an answer but I just need to get it off my chest." Hope changes the topic to needing to ask a question and Roman simply motions for her to continue.

"Um, do you think… Do you think that my dad loves my mom more than me?" Hope briefly hesitates before coming out with her question, leaving Roman looking stunned but before he can say anything, she continues.

"It's just that, when I told him my mom was missing, he immediately hopped on a plane back to New Orleans yet ignored all of my calls. Now, according to my brother, he has begun binge drinking over the fact she's missing. I just feel like he wants to leave the impression that he loves her more than me." Hope explains why she asked her question, which has Roman thinking for a moment before he responds.

"That's a little strange. I mean, he might love your mother but if there's one thing that's certain, is that nothing outweighs the love a parent has for a child. So even if your father does love your mother, he's never going to love her more than he loves you." Roman gives Hope his opinion on the matter, causing her to shyly smile at him.

"I mean, I'll be okay if he does love my mother. That just means we have one more thing in common and I know that he was in my shoes in order to get her back, he might do the same thing that I'm doing. We both have a long list of people we love, our family taking up a large part of it, but I will admit that despite the many similarities we have, both in general and on our lists, there is one difference." Hope admits that she'll accept the fact that her dad loves her mom, simply because it just means that they have more to share then talks more about the similarities she has with her dad before sadly confessing they have one difference.

"And what difference would that be?" Roman decides to wonder what difference Hope and her father could possibly have causing her to sigh sadly.

"I'm actually a person that he cares about and loves." Hope answers the question with her tone getting slightly emotional and Roman stares at her sympathetically as he realizes that she just told him that she doesn't love herself or care about her well-being.

"We should probably go and do this thing. I can't believe I'm dallying with my mother's life on the line." Hope gets back to business on doing the binding of her werewolf side, disbelieving that she was wasting time while her mom is still in danger.

"Right. But remember whatever you do…" Roman shifts back in his seat normally and takes the car out of park then looks back at Hope, trailing off from the reminder he gave her earlier.

"Don't stop breathing. I got it." Hope finishes the reminder, claiming that she understands and he nods at her before going back to driving.

The memory jumps from that and Klaus goes back to seeing flashes, mainly the same conversation that Rebekah saw but he only sees the kiss they shared and then he sees their first kiss, however, both of the flashes he saw made it seem like Roman was the one to initiate them.

Yet, Roman pushes him out of his mind before he can see any more memories and Klaus looks as though he's processing something.

"Yeah, your sister already tried that. It didn't work for her either." Roman softly explains that Rebekah had attempted to enter his mind and that she didn't succeed.

Once he's finished processing what he saw, Klaus simply glares furiously at Roman, due to the last two memories he saw, and Roman can tell why he's angry.

"Alright, you look pissed. Well actually, you look like you want to kill me and that's totally understandable. But before I welcome death with open arms, let me remind you that if you kill me, then Hope will be lost. I am the only one who knows where she is and if I die, then that information dies with me." Roman manages to talk Klaus down from killing him by stating that if Klaus does kill him, then Hope will be stuck with Aurora, as he's the only one who knows where she is but expresses his understanding in the fact that Klaus wants to kill him.

"Look, I don't care if you trust me or if you even like me, all you need to know is that I will bring her back here safely. You just have to let me." Roman's tone is softer than before, which was more anxious, as he assures Klaus that he will bring Hope back to him.

Klaus thinks about this for a long moment, turns away from Roman to keep thinking, then turns back to face him, looks down at the ground for a second before glaring at Roman again and then punches Roman across the face so hard he falls to the floor.

Roman gently grabs his own jaw and re-cracks it back in place, as Klaus dislocated it, then stands to his feet.

"Fine. Go get my daughter." Klaus decides to let Roman leave to get Hope and Roman nods before he vamp speeds out of the library, as well as the school.

Roman vamp speeds to Hope's location and knocks on the window as she dozes off but she hears the knock.

"Roman?" Hope looks confused yet also relieved that Roman is there as she struggles to stand up and then limps to the door, opening it which has Roman meet her at the door.

"Hey." Roman greets her with a small smile and she returns the smile.

"Hi." Hope returns the greeting then steps outside to hug him but she nearly collapses yet Roman catches her.

"Let's get you back to the school." Roman recommends that he takes her back to the school but she shakes her head.

"I don't want to go back to the school. I- I want to go to New Orleans, I want my family, Roman. Please, take me home." Hope's tone is very weak and also upset as she pleads with Roman to take her to her family instead, claiming that she doesn't want to go back to the boarding school.

Roman thinks about this for a moment, debating on how he should respond before he tells her.

"Hope, your family is at the boarding school. They've been helping the school to try and find you. Now I can take you to your family or I can take you to New Orleans, it is your choice." Roman hesitantly informs Hope that her family is at the school then states that he can take her to them or take her home and that it's her decision.

"Take me to my family." Hope weakly chooses that he takes her to her family after she thinks about Roman's words for a moment then she passes out as a result of the amount of blood loss she's endured.

Roman lifts her up in bridal carry and vamp speeds her to a different location before Aurora returns.
