"Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!"
Just as quickly as she was enveloped by the light, Alice was ejected from it. She barely even paid attention to her new surroundings; all she could take in was the three-story slope made of smooth stone that she was sliding down on. Upon reaching the bottom, the young girl spun around like a hockey puck across the floor of the dimly-lit area until she finally slowed to a stop.
Alice sat up, rubbing her head and looking around. She was in a cave of some sort, with huge rock walls that had patterns of moss creeping along them. Alice turned around and looked back at the slope that she just rode down. At the top of it, near the ceiling, was some sort of swirling blue and yellow portal that was making a quiet humming sound. However, its color seemed to be slowly fading away. Alice sprung to her feet.
"No! Wait!" she cried, running back up the slope as fast as she could. Unfortunately, the slope got steeper the higher it got, and soon it was too slippery to go any further. Alice could only watch the portal dim, until it vanished completely. "No! No...no..." As it disappeared, the realization hit her. That was her only way back. She was stuck in some mysterious, unfamiliar place that could very well be completely abandoned! Alice's legs gave out, and she collapsed down onto the rock, slowly sliding back down to the base of the slope.
Alice felt her head spinning. How could this have happened? She'd never see her family ever again! Her Mommy...her Daddy...her Grandma...her baby brother...they'll spend the rest of their lives wondering what happened to her! And for what? Because she tried to return someone's watch?
Wait, that's it! The Rabbid in the park went through the same portal that she did!
Considering the positive past experiences she had with the Rabbids, there's a chance that they'd be able to help her get back! Perhaps they could lead her to another portal. As this thought raced through Alice's mind, she got up and began sprinting through the cave. She could see a light shining out through an exit. The sooner she got going, the closer she was to finding help.
As soon as Alice came out of the cave, she was greeted with a beautiful forest. Beams of sunlight shone through the branches of gigantic trees atop wavy hills of green grass. Alice had never seen anything like it...well, her parents did take her on a trip through the mountains a few years ago, but this was something else entirely. This looked like something straight out of a whimsical fantasy film, yet Alice was sure that no film could ever properly capture the absolute reality of this place.
The young girl stepped out onto the grass, into this brand new world. She didn't even know where to start looking for the Rabbids, her legs were on autopilot as they carried her into the woods. She couldn't stop staring at everything that surrounded her. It was all so much to take in at once...
During this moment of pure awe, Alice's mind was too busy to even consider what could possibly be roaming through these woods...
