Chapter IX

Rey fought back the impulse to faint. They were court marshaling her. They wouldn't court marshal the others. They were too many. But her as leader of the group would stand trial. "It is the will of this court that you, Rey Skywalker accused of having deliberately and knowingly went against your superior's orders and enlisted the help of others this court does find you guilty. We condemn you to be dishonorably discharged from the army and stripped of all medals and honors associated with the said army..." Rey knew the worst was to come. "However seeing the said former honors and knowing that you have successfully liberated a hero of the Third Republic we have decided on no further punishment." Rey could scarcely believe her ears. No further punishment. The law demanded normally at least five years behind bars. Ten minimum if it was deliberate treason. Finn was quite happy as well. Then she said, "Finn marry me." He answered, "I've got nothing not even a last name. How can I marry you?" She answered, "Take my last name I've carried it five years. Finn Skywalker will you marry me?" Finn looked at her and said, "Gladly."
