A/N: Hello Everyone! I've had some inspiration for a Slenderman Fic for a little while and figured I should write it! Let me know what you think!

Prologue

Salem - 1600s

The winter wind blew through the small village, a full moon illuminating the gathering on the outskirts of town. Seven hooded figures stood in a circle, chanting softly. Once their chanting ceased, they all raised their left hand and brought a knife down on their palms, blood dripping onto the soft snow, staining it red. One of the women stepped forward to the center of the circle and raised her voice.

"Tall One. We call upon thee. Show yourself unto us!" The remaining women resumed chanting softly.

"Show yourself. Show yourself. Show yourself." A soft rumbling stopped them, and a static sound filled their ears.

"Sisters! Do not break the circle!" The leader commanded, resuming her spot on the circle. Her coal black hair whipped around her as the static increased and a harsh wind whipped around them. She gulped, once again doubting the decision, but the thought of losing her family strengthened her resolve. The Tall One needed to be stopped.

She glanced towards the woods and nearly gasped as the figure emerged. She had seen him once before, and he was just as intimidating the second time. Standing taller than any man she had ever laid eyes on, with limbs extending impossibly long, he was dressed in a fine black robe, the hood barely covering his bald head. No eyes or nose adorned his face. She blinked, and he appeared in the circle, a couple of feet from her. He bent down, his hood falling slightly to reveal his face, which she noted had a few dips where his eyes would be and a slight hint of a nose.

"Who dares to call upon me?" He hissed into her face, a tendril sprouted from his back and grabbed her wrist, hauling her into the air. She gritted her teeth at the pain and pushed through, glaring at him.

"The Sisterhood of Salem calls thee. You hath killed members of our village and we demand that you cease." She growled softly. A second tendril grabbed her other wrist, more thoroughly suspending her as he laughed.

"You have no power over me, little witch. Your powers might scare your village, but to me they are mere parlor tricks." She stared into where his eyes would be, ignoring the trickle of fear down her spine.

"You are correct. Our powers do not affect thee, but we hath received information about a power that even you art bound to." Her words caused the beast to take a step backwards, dropping her unceremoniously onto the cold ground. She scrambled back to her feet and taunted him. "You art bound to the circle now, Tall One. Thou cannot leave until we deem it so." He growled, his head splitting open to reveal a mouth full of pointed teeth. He lunged forward, but she stepped to the edge of the circle, and he reeled back as if he was burned. "We received some information about you, Tall One. Information that means that to get out of our circle, we must reach an accord." The man straightened up, the line that was his mouth twisting into a frown.

"I suppose so, Witch. What are your requests?" He asked, his tentacles disappearing. She smiled and tilted her head.

"We require that you don't kill anyone from our village anymore, and-"

"Absolutely not." He said, crossing his incredibly long arms. She frowned,

"Then we ask that thou spare us and our families. We require that no one in our families from here on out are killed or harmed by thee." He tilted his head to the side, contemplating the thought.

"I suppose those are amicable terms. But you must know that in order to distinguish you from others, that I will have to mark you." She nodded; her source had told her as much.

"I'm aware of the conditions of your powers." His face split into a toothy smile. She suppressed the shiver down her spine at the sight. He reached a thin hand to shake hers. She stepped into the circle, reaching for it. His tentacles shot back out, wrapping around her waist and lifting her into the air, pulling her close to his face.

"There's an additional thing I require from you, Little Witch. Before I make any deal, I require that the knowledge of how to summon and bind me is pulled from your mind." She gulped and shook her head.

"Then we have no guarantees on the conditions of the deal." She growled back. He tilted his head and nodded.

"If you consent, I vow to leave all knowledge of myself and what we discussed and will only remove the details of the ritual." She thought about it and nodded her head.

"We agree to your terms." She said. He set her down gingerly and this time she stuck out her hand. He smiled and grasped it firmly with his ice-cold hand. She gasped at the sensation of the power flowing through their clasped hands. One of his tentacles wrapped gently around her wrist, burning a dark imprint on it. The women in the circle hissed as their skin burned as an identical mark appeared on all of their wrists. The circle glowed with a black hue and dissipated. The women exchanged worried glances and started walking back to the village wordlessly. The leader glanced back at the man, who stayed rooted in the circle.

"By the way, Little Witch. Did my brother happen to tell you the additional consequence of making a deal with the Slender Man?"
