A couple months pass and Harry and Ginny announce there engagement to the family. Hermione is wondering when Ron will propose and so is Ron. They celebrate Harry and Ginnys wedding a couple months later. (Check out my story about There wedding) at the wedding dance of Ginny and Harry, Hermione and Ron danced. Ron leaned into her and whispered into her ear "I love you Hermione Granger" Hermione shocked stepped on his toes "gah! Sorry... I love you too!" Ron laughed and massaged his foot. Harry then shouted over there way "Hermione being a destructive?" Harry and Ron shout out in laughter. Hermione chuckled. "Hahaha... The one time I hit you Harry was when you were being an idiot!" Hermione bellowed back at Harry. Harry came over and tapped Ron on the shoulder. "But I am the chooses one!" Hermione purposely stepped on his toes. "You deserve that" Harry and Hermione then danced happily while Ron danced with his sister. "How's it like being Married?" Ron asked Ginny. "It's nice! I love Harry a lot so I am glad that we are finally married." Ron then replied "I think I'm gonna propose to Minoe soon." Ginny gasped and stepped on his foot. Ron exclaimed in pain "Blimey Woman! Why do girls like to step on my toes." Ginny tugged her brother over to a bench. Ignoring his remark she spoke "your gonna propose!" Ron then replied "that's what I said.." Ginny then responded "that's amazing! Hermione will be my sister!" Ron then laughed and replied seriously "Hermione cannot know though, that's why I need your help." She nodded and they got up and started dancing. "Harry's keeping her happy" Ginny said looking over at the two happy people dancing. Ron laughed seeing Hermione step on Harry's toes. Harry walked over and tapped Ron on the shoulder "careful with that one... She likes to step on people's feet" Ron snorted and Walked over to Hermione. "So Mrs. Potter... What did Ron say?" Ginny kissed him on the cheek and rested her face on his shoulder. "Ron's gonna propose to Hermione, but he needs our help since Hermione rarely is surprised," Harry couldn't tell if he should laugh at Ron or beam at Hermione. "That's brilliant! I have an Idea already." Ginny smiled and kissed him again. "This is why I love you... your willingness to help others" they smiled and continued on with there momentous night.
"Alright" Ron said at Harry. "So we've got the plan in set we have just got too ask her" Harry beamed Ginny then added "You, you mean" Ron laughed nervously "yeah, me" Angelina then said "So, are you sure this is gonna work?, this is Hermione we are talking about" Harry sighed "better give it a shot, and don't be too obvious." Ginny nodded, "Can we do a practice run?" Ginny said calmly. "Yeah, So I don't freak out when the moment comes." Ron added nervously. "Who's gonna play Hermione?" Harry asked. "how about Pidgwigen?" George suggested. "Bloody hell! I'm not kissing an owl!" Ron said his ears turning red. "Who's Ron kissing?" Hermione said walking in with a questioned expression. "George thought it would be funny if Ron kissed his owl." Angelina said smiling. Hermione laughed. "Well I've better get going, gotta do an interview with the ministry." Hermione said beaming. "Bye Minoe! Good luck on your interview!" Ginny said nicely, Harry beamed at Hermione and waved goodbye. They all waved goodbye to Hermione as she left the house. they got to work and started rehearsing. Ron in the end agreed for Hermione to be pig. They all finished 2 hours later and were content with the final product. They got all prepared for when Hermione came home.
"Hermione's home!" Ginny shrieked and jumped off the chair she was lounging in. They all jumped up and got to there positions. "Hey Gin!" Hermione said nicely. "Oh Hey Minoe!" Hermione looked around "where is everyone?" Ginny chuckled nervously "uh, Out in the yard." Hermione set her bags down and was heading outside when Ginny stopped her, and pulled her back to face her. "What is it Gin?" Ginny then was trying to think of something to distract her. "I wanna do a girls day today... too manny boys around." Hermione smiled. "That's just what I need." Ginny and Hermione went up stairs into there room and just talked, painted each other's nails. "I have a couple new dresses that Mum thought would look good on me, but don't match my hair... you want them?" Hermione shook her head "there yours Gin! Not mine." Ginny then begged her. "You know I don't like dresses, at least try one of them on, it would look pretty with you hair." Hermione laughed an then said "fine!" She took the dress Ginny handed her and went into the bathroom. She came out a few moments later. "You look gorgeous!" Ginny gasped. Hermione twirled around in the lilac dress. "Thanks! Can you help me with my hair so I can get the full effect?" Hermione pleaded her. "Ok" Ginny said rolling her eyes, and the girls spent a couple minutes in the bathroom. "You look amazing Minoe!" Ginny said smiling at her beautiful self. "Your turn! We gotta both get all glammed up!" Hermione said happily. Ginny shook her head and Hermione pinned her in the spot using a freezing charm. They were laughing and having fun. Once they were both all glammed up Ginny heard crookshanks eat George's extendable ear. She knew that was the signal that they were ready. She told Hermione that she has a surprise for her, and she took her hand and blindfolded her. Ron then walked in and took Hermione's hand. Ginny ran downstairs to were Harry was at. "You look amazing" Ron told Hermione. "Wait, you don't sound like Ginny." Hermione giggled nervously. He laughed back and then took off her blindfold. "What was the blindfold for?" Hermione asked with a questioned look. "I actually don't know , George's idea." Hermione gave him a questioned look. "Anyways love, I need your help, George is gonna propose too Angie and he needs some help." Ron lied. Hermione nodded "how wonderful!" She said nicely, deep inside she wished it was her though. "How can I help?" Hermione asked. "Anyway possible, he wants to do this little walk around the park thing, and then fireworks are gonna explode that say Marry Me Angie!" Hermione nodded and beamed "she's gonna love that." Ron took a sip from his fire whisky. A patronus than appeared in front of them. "Hermione, I need your help with the fireworks." George's voice echoed then the patronus faded away. "I'll see you around Love." Ron said gently to Hermione kissing her on the cheek. Hermione ran over to George and spent a long time working on the fireworks, they are difficult to charm. They finished moments later looking at there successful work. "Thanks for the help Minoe!" George said nicely. "No problem!" Hermione replied kindly.
