*Few months later*
Masen's POV
I can wholeheartedly say that my life is the best in existence, I have my beautiful wife by my side and have 3 gorgeous children who constantly put a smile to my face, all have very different personalities, Lillian is very outgoing, likes to make people laugh, just a ray of sunshine always smiling, always happy and very cheeky like her dad. Jack is so much like me it's not even funny, he is very mischievous, definitely a rebel, very loud, loves the attention but very caring. And last Anthony, he is definitely like his mother, very shy, quiet, keeps himself to himself, always exploring places by himself the amount of heart attacks me and Sofia have had are set to last us a life time.
As far as me and my family know Jack and Lillian are the only ones that have shown any gifted talents so far we're not so sure if Anthony has a gift yet but we all suspect that he does but we're just not sure what it is yet, Jack has control of the weather and can change it to his advantage and can actually attack someone with the types of weather which he has demonstrated as he blasted uncle Emmett with lightening which in all fairness was hilarious, Lillian is a walking teleporter which is a cool gift, we've noticed when she would be in one room with her toys then the next she's in the kitchen minding her own business which confused us for a while but I thought it was awesome.
As I was sat thinking about my children's gifts I heard a pitter patter of running feet coming into the living room and it was all 3 of my children playing with their cousins Anabell, Ethan and Sarah. Myself, Sofia, Lizzie, EJ and Nessie were all in the living room we was all just catching up and the kids love it when they play together they have all grown so much within a space of a few months it's actually scary.
"Hey no fair Tommie you didn't count to 10!" Sarah started to pout and crossed her arms me and my siblings sighed here we go let the fighting commence. Ethan smiled widely. "Yeah and that's what makes it fun Rosie" Lillian and Anabell giggled. "Tommie, Rosie stop fighting and let's carry on playing or we can play a new game!" Anabell nodded and agreed, Jack and Ant looked bored.
"This is so boring, we always play tag, we all know Tommie cheats and winds up Rosie then they end up fighting and then we all go home! Let's play something new!" all the kids giggled but Sarah wasn't having any of it. "Charlie that's not true! Mommy tell Charlie is lying!" Nessie burst out laughing. "Sorry darling but you and Ethan do fight a lot over anything and everything!"
Sarah huffed and stormed off while the rest of the kids decided to watch TV because they couldn't be bothered to play a new game which I find hilarious. While they were occupied Sofia nudged me. "I was talking to mum earlier and she wants to see the triplets so I've arranged for them to have a sleepover with Aidan and Mollie will be there. So we have the night free to ourselves" I smiled widely and kissed my wife, I loved these nights when we were free from bedtime stories, food flying everywhere, playing games and being constantly on our toes, nothing wrong with that that's what it all entails being a parent and I wouldn't change it for the world however I do love it when me and Sofia have nights off and we can just concentrate on each other as a married couple.
"That's brilliant sweetheart what do you want to do? We can go out to an amazing restaurant or see a movie? Anything at all" Sofie giggled and thought hard. "I was thinking bowling, then have dinner" I smiled widely and was so excited "It's a date!" I winked at her; Sofie giggled and tapped my arm. "What time should we take the kids to Lilly and Chris's?" Sofie answered me. "Well mum said to bring them round after tea time, so I guess around half 6? I've already packed their bags and their favourite teddies and stories" God I love this woman. "You are one amazing woman you know that?" Sofie blushed and kissed my cheek. "I do try!" EJ, Lizzie and Nessie announced they were going to make tracks.
"Right it was nice to see you all but Jake is going to be home soon and I haven't got dinner started" Me and Sofie stood up and gave her a hug, Lizzie agreed "Yeah same here Seth will be sad if I don't have dinner on the go!" I rolled my eyes. "Seth can cook his own food!" Lizzie huffed. "Yes but I like to cook for my husband thank you Masen!" I again rolled my eyes but hugged my baby sister EJ and Nessie giggled and EJ hugged both of us. "Yeah Leah will be annoyed if I haven't cleaned the house I sort of promised her that it will be done before she got home! She will be tired as she's taken the boys out and they're a handful at the moment" I burst out laughing. "Someone will be in the dog house then! Better get a move on then bro!" EJ glared at me playfully but ran to his car and peeled out my drive way.
The girls called their children and I gave them all big hugs and kisses. "Tommie, Rosie you behave now ok, and Anabell tell Susie that her uncle mase loves her and owes him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek" Anabell giggled and nodded. "He he I will uncle Masen I promise." I smiled widely I love being an uncle as well as a dad it's just the best feeling ever. As my kids hugged their cousins they ran back in the house to cause more mayhem oh jheeze. Soon as Nessie and Lizzie got their kids plugged in their car seats and drove out the driveway me and Sofie sighed happy then ran inside to call the kids.
"Kids can you come here please?!" all 3 of them came to us in the living area. "Yes daddy?" they said in time. Sofie smiled and then explained. "Nana Lilly called earlier on today and has asked to see you 3, so you'll be having a sleepover with Uncle Aidan and Mollie" they all gasped excitedly and Ellie squealed. "Yay I get to see papa Chris and nana Lilly I have missed them so much. But mommy when can we see great papa Carlisle and great nana Esme? I haven't seen them in ages have they forgotten about us?" I winced sadly, since grandpa and grandma have gone on a short break away together the kids haven't understood that they are gone shortly and they think they have forgotten them although it isn't the case.
Sofie went to hug Ellie and kissed her cheek. "Of course not Ellie, great papa Carlisle and great nana Esme will be home soon they have gone away on a short break they will never forget you I promise they love you 3 so much never forget that! I promise they will be home soon!" Ellie didn't look convinced neither did ant. "But why have they gone daddy? Were they bored of us?" I chuckled. "No son, what adults tend to do, because they have spent so much time devoting all their time to the family and because they work hard, they haven't had chance to ... spend some quality time with each other, so they take little breaks away so they can enjoy being in each other's company" all of the kids then started to understand and then nodded.
Nessie's POV
As I managed to get the twins in their seat without a fuss I couldn't wait to be home and see my husband! The family isn't complete without him there, today we have a surprise for the twins, since Billy lives on La Push Reservation and we now live in Oregon the trip is pretty far but it's worth it because not only will they get to meet their grandpa Billy they also have the opportunity to meet their aunties Rebecca and Rachel although Rachel and Billy know that the twins aren't fully human Rebecca will be fully oblivious although she will be shocked at how big they are.
Jake and myself told Billy that we had twins a couple of months back it's just been about arranging travel for them to come and see us and because our cottage is small and has 3 rooms we did some extension work and have fit 3 guest rooms so Billy and Jake's sisters are making a trip out of it and staying round ours for a few days to give themselves some time to bond with the twins.
I still can't believe how big my twins are, I still see them as tiny little bundles in my arms, now I know how momma and daddy feels, speaking of momma and daddy they are still away on vacation momma surprised daddy with a trip to Illinois, Chicago, since it is Grandma Elizabeth's birthday she thought it would be a good idea to go down to daddy's hometown. I think it's really sweet although I miss momma and daddy every day, I can't wait to see them soon.
"Tommie, Rosie when daddy gets home we have a surprise for you!" Rosie gasped. "What kind of surprise mommy?" I giggled at the excitement coming from my children. "Now if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise would it?" Ethan huffed impatiently. "Momma please give us a clue, please I really want to know!" I really want to say no but I never can they have me wrapped round their little fingers. "Its people you have never met before but I know you will love them!" Tommie and Rosie giggled, and then started debating on who it could be.
"I wonder who they could be Rosie, do you have any ideas?" Sarah huffed in frustration. "I don't know Ethan we will just have to wait!" Ethan huffed in annoyance. "You're no fun Rosie" I giggled and shook my head and parked on my driveway I could see Jake was home I jumped out the car much more excited than the twins, I got them out their car seats and picked them both up in my arms they hugged me and they both laid their head in the crooks of my neck.
I walked in the house and they both sat up while I held them in the living area there was Billy, Rachel and Rebecca with Jake smiling as much as me he ran to us picked up Rosie and kissed me. "You ready?" I laughed and nodded, "As ever!" I could see the excitement coming from Rachel and Rebecca, Billy looked overwhelmed as well as happy. "Ethan, Sarah these girls here are your Aunty Rachel and Aunty Rebecca, and this here is your grandpa Billy!" The twins looked at each other and squealed with excitement they jumped down and ran to all three of them and I couldn't help but notice Billy staring hard at Sarah I looked a little confused.
While Jake was smiling and laughing watching the twins bond with the blacks I interrupted him. "Um Jake, why is your dad staring at Sarah so much?" Jake looked confused. "What do you mean? he's shocked I mean who can blame him look how fast the twins have grown!" I sighed and shook my head. "No Jake look at him, he hasn't taken his eyes off Sarah from the minute we walked in. It's making me wary!" Jake looked a little offended. "Well it's not like he's going to do anything!" Oh my god is he serious? I huffed annoyed and sat down on the couch opposite I didn't take my eyes off of Billy and while Rebecca and Rachel were playing with the twins and gave them gifts Jake went in the kitchen my guess cooking dinner.
Then I heard an annoyed tone of Jake. "Nessie can you come in the kitchen please I need your help!" I sighed, and then smiled at everyone as they looked at me; I got up then strolled into the kitchen shut the door behind me and then took a seat at the kitchen table. "What?" Jake turned to look at me as he was standing over the stove. "Look. I'm sorry I got defensive but what do you want me to say? Stop looking at your own grandchild. Come on ness." I sighed in frustration he's missing my point completely. "No Jake that's not what I'm trying to say at all your missing my point if you look at Billy I mean really look at him he hasn't taken his eyes off of Sarah like I said the minute we walked in the house. Is there something about her that's attracting his attention?" Jake looked lost.
"I don't know ask him, he may be my dad but I'm not a mind reader Nessie" Ugh why do I bother saying anything since there was nothing else to say I left Jake to carry on cooking dinner, as I walked back into the living area I couldn't believe the sight I was seeing Ethan and Sarah curled up on the couch asleep... what? This NEVER happens they're usually either arguing or tearing the place upside down. I looked dumbfounded and heavily confused and the twins found it hilarious. "What's wrong Nessie?" Rachel giggled. "How on earth did you manage to get the twins to sleep?" Rebecca looked confused. "What do you mean we just told them Quileute stories and they were knocked out" I was still in shock. "I can never get them to take a nap during the day, usually they spend the day arguing or tipping the house upside down" The girls giggled and gave me a hug.
"Well it's lucky that you've got us around for a few days then, it always used to work on Jake whenever he used to annoy us" Jake shouted from the kitchen! "As if!" I laughed and noticed Billy was silent and again his eyes were on Sarah, I really didn't like it. "Billy can I ask you something?" Billy looked my way and smiled, Rachel and Rebecca excused themselves my guess is to annoy Jake. "Sure what's on your mind Ness?" I ran my hand through my hair and plucked the courage to ask him. "Why are you staring at Sarah so much? I mean I couldn't help but notice that since I walked in the door you haven't taken her eyes off her" Billy chuckled and looked slightly embarrassed. "My apologies Renesmee, when you first brought the twins in I couldn't help but notice Sarah's eyes. They're the exact same colour as my wife's, I was so shocked and proud, it's like my wife lives on through my granddaughter, her personality is a breath of fresh air and also reminds me of Jake." I couldn't help but smile I hugged Billy and I started to feel guilty but who can blame him imagine having a child that reminds you of your loved one who died, I would definitely stare too.
"No you don't need to apologise, I'm sure Sarah would've loved the twins, I'm sure she's looking down on us all and smiling at how proud she is of us." Billy smiled happily and nodded. "I'm sure she is too Nessie. Now come on let's get some grub I can smell the black secret spaghetti a mile off!" Jake came in and announced. "Right you are dad come on you have the biggest plate I know you love it." Billy looked happy I looked and the twins were already tucking in with bread rolls and a big bowl of salad and cans of beer placed on the table, Jake made me a bowl and small bowls for the twins with their high chairs placed between Rachel and Billy. Jake held me in his arms and quietly kissed me.
"I can't remember the last time I saw the house so clean, usually toys and books are everywhere you can barely see the floor" I giggled and nodded enjoying the warmth my husband generated. "I know! Thank your sisters for that we need to learn this trick it's lucky we have them for a few days!" Jake chuckled and agreed. "I know I didn't realise until now just how much I've missed them, I know things between me and my dad haven't been the best but I'm glad he's here and we can spend as much time together before he has to go back" I nodded in agreement and kissed his cheek.
"I'm happy for you honey, now come on let's get the twins up!" Jake smiled widely and nodded, we both kneeled down by the edge of the couch and shook both Ethan and Sarah. "Tommie, honey wake up its dinner time" All I have to say is dinner and Tommie is up faster than lightening! "YAY, what have we got today mommy?" without fail it always makes me chuckle I kissed my sons cute face and told him! "Daddy's secret spaghetti" Ethan gasped "YAY my favourite, is Grandpa Billy, aunty Rach and aunty Becca still here?" I smiled then walked into the kitchen. "Why don't you look for yourself?" Ethan smiled happily as everyone the table looked at him equally as happy "WOOHOO!" everyone chuckled and now that Tommie was wide awake I placed him in his high chair and he dug in to his food right away, as I turned around Sarah was crying poor baby she hates being woken up and like daddy she loves her sleep and tends to become very cranky and moody.
"Sweetie what's wrong?" Rosie opened her arms out to me and Jake looked stressed he put Sarah in my arms and Sarah clutched to me, this is when it's disaster because whenever I need to do something Sarah gets hysterical and clingy oh god this is going to be impossible especially since I'm hungry myself. "Mommy I want to go back to sleep!" I sighed. "Sweetie aren't you hungry you can't sleep on an empty tummy now can you?" Sarah wailed even louder Ethan looked a little startled but nothing ever stops him when it comes to food, everyone else looked sympathetic. Rachel offered a hand. "Come on Sarah why don't you have something to eat, then after we can all watch TV anything you want? Yeah how does that sound?" Sarah wasn't having it. I told Rachel. "It's ok Rach whenever she gets like this there's no reasoning with her, she gets hysterical and difficult, it's because she loves sleep and whenever we wake her up rather than let her wake up by herself she gets very grouchy and moody." Rachel couldn't help but giggle. "So much like her mother" I blushed it's true I love my sleep and I do tend to get moody whenever people wake me up.
But what surprised me was Billy he stopped eating and while Sarah was continuing to be difficult clingy and hysterical Billy asked for him to hold her I accepted as I sat down next to him and he gladly took Sarah out my hands. Billy soothed her and hushed her. "Now, now Sarah come on now if you don't stop crying you won't get a treat!" Sarah then stopped and looked curiously "Treat? What treat grandpa?" me and Jake looked shocked what the hell?! My mouth was hung open, Billy chuckled.
"I have brought a big bag of sweets for you and your brother since your mommy and daddy told me you two don't like to share we have brought you two bags of treats for you to try, but I need to be a good girl for your mommy and daddy is that a deal?" both Ethan and Sarah gasped and smiled Billy wiped away Sarah's tears and she was herself again and nodded. "Ok grandpa I will!" Billy kissed her cheek and passed her to me! "Mommy if I eat all of my dinner can have my treats please?" I chuckled. "Yes you can but not all of them because you will end up being sick." Sarah nodded; I placed her in high chair next to Ethan then started tucking into her food.
Jake then piped up. "You have no idea how much of a god send you are dad!" Billy chuckled. "What do you mean? Bribing kids with sweets always works a treat" I chuckled. "You don't understand how difficult Sarah is when she has her tantrums. Teach us your ways Billy!" everyone chuckled, "Well it's lucky we're here for a few days then isn't it!" I couldn't agree more but all in all today has been perfect the twins have met another part of the family knowing that they have their own grandparent and nobody else shares them has made it even more special and when I see my husband and my twins happy then I'm happy. Everything is just perfect bliss.
Lizzie's POV
Today has been a good day, i was so happy i got to see my nieces and some of my nephews, it's been so long, and i have missed my best friend Sofie so much and my siblings i'm just glad we got to catch up, I was playing my lullaby that EJ composed for me and Anabell was humming to it, it's her favourite i hope Susie is ok, Rose and Alice have been babysitting her i just hope they haven't done make overs on her the poor thing, as soon as me and Anabell got out the car and was outside the door, the front door barged open and into my arms was Susie i couldn't help but giggle. "Hey darling what's the matter.!" Susie looked a little startled and was dressed in a cute dress and her hair was in cute piggy tails. I burst out laughing.
"Mommy aunty rose and aunty Alice wanted to play dress up and i didn't want to. I don't like dressing up, help me mommy!" Analeah couldn't help but giggle. "Susie lets confuse them for fun get changed and we can have fun!" Susie smiled evilly and they both rushed inside i couldn't help but laugh Seth wasn't home yet so i decided to make myself scarce into the kitchen i decided to make Sue's famous beef stew to welcome home my husband after i had just finished put in all the ingredients i felt the whole kitchen shake, almost like an earthquake, i screamed out. "Susie, Anabell, Alice, Rose where are you?" Rose and Susie looked scared and it almost felt like a shock wave that ruptured through the house and then the house stood still again. What the hell was that. "Mommy, something's wrong with Anabell!" I gasped then ran straight upstairs; I saw Alice shocked outside Annabel's room.
"Alice what happened?! How's Anabell is she okay?" Alice looked at me and i couldn't help but notice the photo frames broken and everything was everywhere and a lot of broken glass from all the vases and mirrors oh my god. "ALICE?!" Alice jolted, "I – i think so Lizzie!" I stormed into my daughters room and i gasped in horror, anabell's room was destroyed all her furniture, her bed and there was glass everywhere. What the hell happened. I saw Analeah crying in the middle of the room obviously scared from what happened.
"Analeah? What happened sweetie are you okay? Are you hurt?" Analeah looked at me then ran into my arms. "Mommy i'm so sorry i didn't mean it, i'm really, really sorry!" I cuddled my daughter so tight and kissed her hair and comforted her. "Shhh it's oka sweetie, your safe now, what happened baby?" Analeah stopped crying took a deep breath then explained what happened.
"Rose and Alice were annoying me and i didn't want to play dress up i ran into my room and Rose, Susie and Alice were trying to get me to, i got so angry that a circle thing surrounded me and then i shouted no and then all i remember is the room shaking and then everything broke around me i'm so scared mommy!" I gasped in shock my poor darling Analeah got so upset again. "Is Susie okay? I didn't mean to scare her? I want to tell Susie i'm sorry!" I wiped away her tears and wiped my own as well. "Susie is fine baby, she's more concerned about you, we'll find out what's caused this ok baby!" Analeah nodded still shaken Rose and Alice decided to take the girls out for a few hours to the lake.
I sighed as i looked in Analeah's bedroom. Her whole room is destroyed all of her furniture was broken. Analeah has got to share with Susie for the time being, i must admit that the most scariest thing i have ever experienced all my daughter did was get angry and that has caused her to cause a shock wave.. That isn't normal. I chucked and burned the furniture in the garden and then cleaned the ashes, then i tided all of the broken glass that was in Analeah's room and salvaged as much stuff as i could then moved it into susie's room. I sighed.
I then tided up the rest of the house and now looks extremely bare seeing as the photo frames and vases have all been broken but at least the family photos themselves haven't been ruined. I then heard the front door open assuming it was Rose and Alice but it was none other than Seth. "Sweet pea i'm home!" I gasped oh my god Seth is going to freak the hell out. I still haven't finished cleaning oh god. I rushed in front of seth and hugged him. "Woah, woah hey.. you okay lizzie?!" I didn't answer him i just kissed him and held him tight. I was so distraught i started to cry.
Seth pulled me away from and looked extremely concerned. "Sweetie where are the girls?" I sighed. "Rose and Alice took them to the Lake!" Seth nodded. "Now are you going to explain what's wrong and... what the hell happened here? It's like an earthquake has hit here what's happened to the family photos? The vases? What? Lizzie what happened here?" I answered him. "It was Analeah!" Seth froze. "What? What do you mean Analeah done this? She destroyed the house? Why?" I sighed. "No Seth... She didn't physically destroy the house." "Wait... your meaning to tell me that a toddler has destroyed this house... Mentally?"
I didn't know what to say to him. "I don't know Seth." Seth started to freak out. "What do you mean you don't know, you've been here!" I growled. "Yes and i was in the kitchen when it happened, the whole house started to shake violently like an earthquake then a few seconds later the house stopped then Rose and Susie came running in as said something was wrong with Analeah i ran in and there she was in the middle of her room surrounded by broken furniture thrown across the room and broken glass her chandelier destroyed with Analeah scared and crying. She told me that ... she got so angry that a shield retracted protecting her and when she screamed out it caused a massive shock wave." Seth looked shocked there was nothing coming from him.
"I... I don't know what to say!" I was silent. "Is... Is this her gift?" I shrugged. "I think so. If it is her gift then it will only get stronger and stronger as Anabell gets older, we need to pay extra attention to her, when she gets older she's going to want to socialise more with other people, anger triggered this Seth. She said she got so angry that it caused her to be protected from her shield. If emotion is what triggers this then what if she's at school someone pisses her off to the point she wants to kill that person can you imagine the devastation." Seth started pacing. "What do you suggest that we do? Hide her away from society? What?" I shook my head.
"No.. She'll never forgive us for that, she shouldn't have to be ashamed if it is indeed her gift. We just need to pay attention, maybe teach her how to control it, if not then I don't know we need confirmation from Eleazar to know exactly what were dealing with here." Seth nodded. "Yeah he has that knowing what gifts that vamps have doesn't he?" I chuckled. "Yeah but not just vampires hybrids and believe it or not humans" Seth nodded. "When should we call him then?" I thought now. "Now, the sooner he can get down here the better" Seth nodded. He sniffed out the food and helped himself.
I then went to the kitchen and found my cell phone on the floor; I found Eleazar's number and dialled. Not long after i heard his familiar stern voice on the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hi Eleazar its Lizzie"
"Oh hi Liz, how's everything?"
"Its fine thank you, the girls are getting so big now!"
"Ha I bet they are, is there anything i can help you with?"
"Actually yes there is.. I'm not 100% sure but my daughter Analeah has somehow destroyed her bedroom and the house not long ago, I think she's a new type of shield."
"Really? Hmm well seeing as you are a Mental and Physical shield it will most likely pass down to your daughters but to say she's a new type of shield altogether ... I'm going to need to see this for myself."
"How soon can you get here, we're all pretty startled."
"Not to worry Liz we'll be there as fast as we can, we'll leave tonight, see you very soon little cousin not to worry!"
"Ok thank you so much Eleazar see you soon"
"Not to worry. Bye!"
"Bye!"
Seth came back in asking for the verdict. "So what did he say?" I sighed with relief. "He says the clan will be leaving tonight, they will be here most likely tomorrow evening or the day after." Seth sighed in relief as well. "Well that's some good news at least, I just hope we have a house left by the time they get here!" I nodded. I couldn't ignore the signs, what if this is my daughter's gift? What sort of future will she have? Is she going to want to be seen in society or hide herself away, I can't think about that now she's still so young and when Eleazar comes we can maybe have more of an understanding about Analeah's gift and maybe if there's a way of controlling it if it is her gift.
If it's not her gift then what could be causing this? This isn't normal. Oh god I hope Eleazar comes soon.
