Analeah's POV
"OW Sissy you poked my eye!" I giggled loudly while Susie was trying to get some sleep, after mommy allowed us to stay up later after we watched Frozen it made me feel special, because Queen Elsa has a special power and everybody was afraid of her, but in the end she managed to control it, maybe when i grow up... Mommy and daddy and my family wont be so afraid of me anymore. As i came out my thoughts i giggled some more and had a crazy idea! "Hehe sorry Susie Lou, come on lets go and play in the garden! I want to work on my power!" Susie's eyes shot open jumped out of bed and held onto my arm. "Ana are you crazy! Do you realize just how much trouble we'd be in if we snuck out, mommy would be mad at us, i don't want to think what daddy would be like too, can't this wait until morning?" I sighed then looked out the dark, black window it was so dark that i could see my own small tiny reflection, mommy always told us to never go out into the forest alone, but i see it as a scary adventure.
"Susie let go, if you don't want to come with me, then fine, be a big chicken but i want to practice because i dont want people to be afraid of me anymore, i will only be gone for 5 minutes i promise" Susie looked scared but trusted me, i placed my hand on hers and we did our special handshake "hehe okay do you promise?" I gave her daddy's special smile and kissed her on the cheek and said "I promise" i threw on my bright yellow and flowery dressing gown, because it was starting to get cold i put on my yellow welly boots and gloves, i pulled my long brown hair back and was satisfied i felt so excited, imagine if i do it! Mommy and daddy will be so proud of me, as i turned round and susie was sound asleep, I put my hand on the door knob slowly turning it trying not to wake up sissy, mommy and daddy. I managed to do it phew! With a big smile on my face excited to go out at night with only the moon providing light like a million fairies dancing in the forest.
As i was now on the top of the stairs i could hear daddy snoring not far from me, my heart was racing, as i put my first foot onto the step, it felt like years until i reached the bottom, as silent as a mouse i creeped out the back porch, then ran at super speed, i giggled quietly as i was still hearing range, with only the moon as my guide i ran quite deep into the forest so i was far away from home to not do anymore damage with my power coincidently i managed to arrive in a beautiful meadow i was surrounded by different coloured flowers that gleamed in the moonlight, this place made me feel happy and free but i wasnt here to sightsee, so i stood in the middle and closed my eyes even though Eleazar said my shield can be shown only with fear and anger i wanted to see if it will show while i'm extremely happy so i began to channel my overwhelmingly happy feeling and as soon as i knew it i felt my shield wrap around me like a present i opened my eyes and smiled, i tried to see if i could walk, so i took a step forward and unforuntealy the shield disappeared.
I huffed!. "Oh come on Analeah you can do this!" after 5 attempts it still wasnt allowing me to walk while in my shield! I began to get angry now! "What use is having a shield if i cannot even walk with it round me!" Like the child i am i crossed my arms and sat down huffing until i heard laughter not far behind me! My heart racing i shot up and saw a tall woman with a black hood my heart was beating fast i began to study her closely, she was wearing all black but she was very pretty, he had bright orange hair and piercing green eyes, she smiled at me stepping into the light, she could see that she frightened me and kept her distance. "Oh i am sorry, i didn't mean to frighten you" she had a soothing tone to her voice which made me feel less scared she reminded me of mommy. I smiled and introduced myself, even though mommy and daddy told me to never talk to strangers i felt she was very nice. "It's okay, though i didnt expect to see anybody out here" She smiled and tilted her head slightly.
"My what a cute, outspoken little girl you're, are you lost?" I giggled and shook my head. "thank you, and no i live not far from here with my mommy, daddy and sissy.. Although.. i shouldnt really be talking to you.. i dont know who you are, your a stranger!" The woman showed her pearly white teeth and laughed. "Yes, you should do what your mommy and daddy tell you, you just never know who you will run into but between you and me, how about we don't tell them agree?" I smiled and nodded. "I won't i promise" the lady then took her hood down so i could see her face more she sparkled against the moonlight which made her even more pretty. She sat down next to me and asked me questions. "So since i want us to be friends how about we introduce ourselves!" I nodded while gazing at the flowers. "Well my name is Analeah Mary Clearwater, What is yours? You're very pretty" The lady looked taken aback but smiled and looked grateful. "Well thank you child, but i think you will be beautiful when your older" I blushed and said thank you. "Oh and my name is Arianna Bonnie Kingsley" I giggled, that sounded pretty.
"So Analeah, that was some pretty amazing stuff i saw not long ago, you are a shield are you not?" I gulped, i'm not supposed to be talking about my gift. "Um.. Mommy says i should never talk about it!" Arianna puffed slightly. "Want to know a secret?" I leaned in then she whispered in my ear. "I have a special gift too!" I gasped and smiled. "Do you really?" Arianna smiled and nodded. "Yep, just remember Analeah no matter how scared people are of you, you should never let that fire in your heart stop! Your mommy and daddy may want to protect you and keep you safe but at the same time they are holding you back from your true potential.. Do you understand what i'm saying?" I did but i know mommy and daddy look out for me because they love me. As the conversation wears on i begin to get very very tired, Arianna noticed and giggled.
"Ah i see you are getting sleepy, here let me carry you home, you can show me the way". I nodded and let her pick me up. I showed her the way to my house and she put me on the doorstep i gave her a hig and said thank you she laughed sweetly and said. "You do not have to thank me, Ana.. i want us to be good friends, so just remember if you ever feel alone or scared or upset, you go to that exact spot, shout my name and i'll be there and remember i'll always be watching and i'm always there" I looked up at her and gave her another hug i only met her tonight but i felt like i could trust her.. even more so with sissy.
"Pinky promise?" I held out my small little finger to her and she giggled and she wrapped her pinky finger around mine. "Pinky promise go on inside now, goodnight child" I giggled and ran inside, remembering i still had my welly boots i slipped them off and just in time to because the light in the kitchen switched on and it was daddy! He look startled. "Jheeze louize Ana what are you doing up at this time?, you should be in bed are you thirsty?" Wow.. he didn't know i was gone so to go along with it i nodded and ran to him "Uh yeah daddy, i'm sorry i scared you".
He giggled and put me on the kitchen counter. "Not to worry darling fancy some hot coco? It will help you sleep better... like me!" i smiled and nodded. "yummy yes please!" So while we was waiting for the water to boil daddy brought up a chair. "So.. what's the trouble why can't you sleep princess?" I had to think of something. "Um.. Daddy.. Do i have a guardian angel?" While the water boiled and daddy was making the hot coco, he looked at me puzzled but at the same time was smiling. "I don't know princess do you think you have a guardian angel?" I smiled widely thinking of Arianna. "Uh huh, i met her, he is the most prettiest angel in the world!" Daddy couldn't stop laughing. "Oh you met her have you? How come i haven't met her?" i feel bad lying to daddy but in some way i'm not really, i mean arianna did say she is always watching me, that's what angels do don't they?.
"Because she's MY guardian angel daddy, you have mommy as your angel" Daddy looked very happy that i said that and he gave me my sippy cup and gave me a kiss. "Do you really think so?" I nodded while enjoying the drink. "uh huh, i can tell, mommy loves you very much and i do too, you're my hero daddy i love you very much!" Daddy giggled as we made our way upstairs and he looked so humbled and happy i like seeing daddy happy. As he put me in sissy's room took my dressing gown off and tucked me in sissy's bed, he gave me my sippy cup back, kissed me goodnight and whispered. "You are my hero too princess.. Sleep tight, I love you forever my darling!" I smiled at what daddy said then finally after i finished my drink i slipped off into sleep.
