I do not own…
A/N: I got this idea when watching Attack on Titan Junior High, hope you enjoy it.
The moment the alarm went off Kagome woke up from her strange dream. Well she didn't have time to dwell on that as she quickly hurried and got dressed as it was her first day of High School. It took a lot of persuasions and "Sits" to get Inuyasha to let her come back for this.
"Kagome come on, we're gonna be late." Souta whined
Oh yeah, the High School that she was going to was sharing the same building with the Middle School that Souta was going to. Today was also his first day too so Kagome had agreed to walk him and his friends to school.
"I'm coming!" Kagome called
Once she was done she hurried downstairs and grabbed a piece of toast from the table.
"Bye mom, see you later." Kagome smiled
"Have a great first day of school you two." Sukie smiled as she waved them goodbye.
The sixteen year girl and thirteen year boy hurried downstairs of the Shrine. Right next to the bottom of the stairs was a small house that belonged to the Yeager family. They moved into the house about a few months ago. The Yeagers' son Eren and foster daughter Mikasa were two of Souta's best friends and who they were waiting on.
"It looks like Eren overslept again." Souta sighed in annoyance, with a sweatdrop.
Kagome couldn't help but sweatdrop as well.
Before she voiced anything out the sound of a motorcycle was heard behind them. Judging from the aura Kagome knew who it was. When the person on the motorcycle stopped right in front them Kagome couldn't help but smile.
"Oh hello, Levi." Kagome greeted
The young man took off his helmet and looked at her with an emotionless mask that remembered her of Sesshomaru.
"Brat, why are you just standing here? You already want to look bad on your first day of High School." He said
"I told you yesterday, I'd promised Souta and his friends that I would walk them to school." Kagome said
"Tch." Levi scoffed
"Why don't you go on ahead, sis?" Souta said "It seems Erens' gonna take awhile."
"Are you sure Souta?" Kagome asked
Then she squeaked in protest when Levi grabbed her wrist and pulled her on the back of his motorcycle.
"Geez, you're just as impatient as Inuyasha, you know that." She glared
"Shut up, and just hang on." Levi scoffed as he tossed her his extra helmet.
After letting out a huff, the young priestess placed the helmet on before wrapping her arms around his waist.
"See ya, at school Souta." Kagome waved before they took off.
"See ya, soon sis." Souta smiled as he waved back.
While riding to school Kagome couldn't help but smile at the feel of the wind. She looked up at Levi and started to remember when they first met.

He was transferred to her school when the Second Semester started in Middle school. Word around is that he is a street fighter with his own gang and got kicked out of his old school for a fight that he started. Kagome didn't believe in the rumors of course. She had a few classes with him but never had time to interact with him. That ended when she was called upon her History teacher Erwin Smith. She didn't think that she was in trouble as History was one of the few classes she was doing well in.
"You asked for me Smith sensei?" She asked by the door.
"Yes, Miss Higurashi, come in." Erwin smiled
When she was fully inside the classroom she saw that Levi was there as well.
"You see, Miss Higurashi, the reason why I've asked you here is because Levi has been failing my class. So since you are my best student in the class, I was hoping that you would tutor him." Erwin explained
"Fuck no. I don't need a tutor." Levi scoffed as he crossed his arms.
"You do if you want to pass this class and graduate Middle School." Erwin said drily before continuing on. "And the tutoring is not only for you, Mr. Ackerman." He said and looked over at Kagome. "Miss Higurashi, your math teacher and I had talk and since Mr. Ackerman is her top student, he could help you out with Math."
Of course neither of them wanted to do this. For Levi, he saw it as a waste of time and for Kagome, it was because she didn't know when Inuyasha would come for her. Even though he promised her he'll give her a few days to catch up with her work he can be impatient and haul her back to the past. Sadly, once Mr. Smith had an idea there was no changing his mind. The two students stepped out of the classroom and sighed in annoyance and defeat.
"So since there is no way out of this, we should start heading to the Library and get started." Kagome said
"Tch, whatever. Since there will be a Math test in three days, we'll start with you first." Levi said "And I won't be easy on you."
He grabbed her wrist and started pulling her in the direction where the library was.
"Oh...yay for me." She groaned in despaired
While this was happening every student in the hallway was gaping at the sight. Kagome couldn't help but groan as she knew they'll be rumors about this the next day.
They reached the library and just like she had been warned his lessons were tough but after a while she was starting to get the hang of it. She was working out the equations he gave her when she felt someone staring at her. Looking up she saw that it was Levi. He was just staring at her with an unreadable look and it really unnerved her.
"What? Why are you staring at me like that?" She asked
"Just trying to figure you out. For someone that is prone to strange diseases you seem healthy to me." He said
Kagome couldn't help but tense.
"Oh, I didn't think you knew about that." She muttered
"The annoyance of school rumors. The latest one about you is that you have a two-timing boyfriend that is in some kind of gang or something." He said, rolling his eyes.
Kagome sighed in annoyance as she knew it was her three friends that spread the rumor.
"You don't strike me as the type to listen to rumors, Levi." She said
"I'm not. But even I have to admit you are...interesting...in a way." He shrugged
He looked back at her as she continued doing the equations. A part of him was a little satisfied when he saw a little blush on her cheek. He didn't know why but even he had to admit that she was cute and easy on the eyes.
A few hours had passed and after seeing how late it was Levi had decided to walk Kagome home. Even though she said that she'll be fine he wasn't hearing it.
"Well it looks like you do have some brains after all, Brat. You managed to get the equations right." He said as he looked at the lessons he gave her.
"Well I hate to admit it but you are a great teacher." She huffed, 'Even though you can be an ass at times.' She thought before saying. "And my name isn't brat. It's Kagome! If we're going to be tutors with one another you could at least say my name right."
"HMPF, we'll see." He smirked
"Asshole." She whispered
"I heard that brat." He glared before flicking her forehead.
Kagome was at her pushing point and did everything in her power not to punch him in the face. Luckily for her they reached the stairs to the shrine.
"Well, this is me. Thank you for walking me home. I'll see you at school tomorrow." She said
She quickly ran upstairs but stopped when she noticed Levi was following her.
"Um...Levi why…?" She asked
"I told you that I'll walk you to your house, not to the stairs of your house. I may be an ass at times but I am somewhat of a gentleman in this area." He said
This stunned Kagome for a bit but allowed it. The two continued walking up the stairs and Levi looked around. He had heard about Shrines from his uncle during all his training but has never thought of stepping into one. When they got close to her house Levi noticed the Goshinboku tree. His eyes slightly widened as he could sense something off about it.
"Well...um...thank you again, Levi. See you at school." She smiled as she stood by the door.
"Yeah, see you around." Levi said with a small smile.
So far the two continued tutoring each other for the last few days. By then Kagome had met some of his comrades, as he likes to call them since they are part of his fighting gang, Hanje and Mike. Hanje is a genius but was more like a mad scientist that likes to experiment a lot. She didn't know that much about Mike as he didn't talk much. He is the tallest kid in school and had a habit of sniffing people. They were both strange but were interesting people and they both were excellent fighters.
Things were going great until Inuyasha appeared during her and Levi's steady session at her house. As usual the dope came through the window and Levi threw his Kendo stick (that he brought from his after school club), hitting the half-breed in the face. That's when the fight started between the two. Kagome was annoyed but was somewhat surprised that Levi was able to take on Inuyasha. It wasn't until she had enough and used the "Sit" command to stop the fight.
"Hey, Brat. I believe you forgot to mention something." Levi said "Why is there a half-breed demon here?"
'What?! He knows!' Both Kagome and Inuyasha thought
'Oh, no. How am I gonna explain this without sounding ridiculous.' Kagome thought
Levi glared as he knew that she was gonna lie to him.
"And don't even think about lying to me. I can tell when you do." He hissed
Kagome slumped as she knew he was right but she was curious about how he knew about Inuyasha being a half-demon. So she took a deep breath and told him her story. After an hour the three of them were sitting in her room when she finished.
"The Shikon Jewel. So it actually exists." Levi said "Well this explains about your strange illness and why you're always absent."
"Feh, well now you know about our secret now explain yours. How does a runt like you know about demons?" Inuyasha growled
"Fuck off, Mutt-face, before I kill you right here and now." Levi glared
"What was that?" Inuyasha growled and got up before charging. "You're dead."
"Inuyasha, sit boy." Kagome said drily
Levi smirked as Inuyasha faced planted to the ground.
"Very suitable word for a Mutt." He said
"So, Levi, how did you know about Inuyasha anyway?" She asked
"From my uncle. I come from a long line of demon hunters. Even though there is very little of them left in this era we still practice the old ways." Levi shrugged "Not mention, Mutt-face, dog ears gave it away." Then he looked at her. "So...I guess this means you have to go."
"Yes, she has too, Naraku scent has appeared again. We need to go now while it's still fresh." Inuyasha glared
"Inuyasha's right, we have to get going." Kagome said
Levi nodded in understanding and wished that he could join them. It sounded so much more important than this life but he couldn't. When Kagome finished packing up the three of them headed to the bone-eater well. Before the two could jump in Levi grabbed ahold of Inuyasha's shirt and shoved him to the wall with a deadly glare.
"Listen here, you Mutt, I've heard about your two-timing ways so here's some advice." He glared "If anything ever happened to Kagome physically or mentally I'll fucking kill you. You'll see just how deadly I can be. Got it."
'Levi.' Kagome thought in awe
"Feh, whatever." Inuyasha scoffed
This angered Levi and just to prove a point he punched the half-breed in the stomach, much harder than a normal human. The punch surprised Inuyasha as he coughed out some blood.
"Consider that as a warning, Mutt." Levi scoffed before letting him go and looked over at Kagome. "Good luck out there, Brat. Try not to get yourself killed in the past."
Kagome gave him a dry look by his words but nodded.
"Thank you for helping Levi." She smiled
With that said she and Inuyasha jumped inside the well while Levi stayed on the other side.
.
.
.
'Ever since then Levi has been helping me to get stronger.' She smiled 'Now I can handle any demon without anyone's help.'
While Kagome was in her own mind, looking at the scenery Levi glanced over at her.
'This new school year is gonna be different.' He said in his mind. 'Soon the Mutt and everyone else will know soon. Kagome is mine. If anyone even dares try to harm her will have to deal with me.'
