Prologue August 17th, 1987

When Juno fell, he hit the mana river and felt pain.

He felt pain for what felt like years, but was less than two seconds, before he felt his literal being get torn not once, twice, or three times, but four times. The last being the hardest and taking something from him that felt important. When that was all done and said, Juno started to fall again, not knowing when he started to float in the air. His consciousness faded as someone caught him.

For the next week, whenever Juno started to regain consciousness, he would feel more and more energy enter his body, until he started to feel pain again and his consciousness fade again. Finally he came to fully, with Glinteye, Joyburn, and the soon to be Lord Ragnok, flanked by two guards.

"Wha-what happened? Where am I?"

"The infirmary again, Juno. There was an accident during the ritual." Joyburn said, completely serious, without the usual amused tone he has.

"It was no damn accident! That damn black-blooded traitor! We need to hunt him down like the beast he is!" Glinteye growled out.

"We will. We will. Now onto the problem at hand." Lord Ragnok turned to Juno. "A traitor told one of my enemies about the ritual that was happening, and he sent a squad to take you and the soul fragment. What we figured out is that he plans to use the soul fragment to restore the original person. But the squad had attacked at the wrong time and messed the ritual up. Causing more than one problem…"

"What problems?" Juno asked before he realized what was wrong. He felt scared. HE felt scared. When that happens, Brenda panics and takes over to get away, but she isn't. She isn't taking over. Where is she?! Where are they?! "Brenda? Jeremy? Marcus? Where are they? WHERE ARE MY SIBLINGS!?" As Juno got more and more agitated, he felt more and more energy enter him. Pain started to flood his body, and he could see his arms start to glow a bluish white.

"Damn! The mana broke through a three level block. JUNO! Calm down! You'll kill us all if you don't." Said Joyburn, but Juno just kept feeling more energy and pain. "Sorry kid. It's for your own good." Juno heard before he felt something stab him in the neck and his consciousness faded once again.

Chapter 12 September 15th, 1991

Dumbledore was heading down to breakfast, thinking of the enigma that was Juno Damon and his siblings. They were dangerous, but not malicious and evil. Chaotic, but in a orderly type of way. And as much as he wanted to get this danger out of his school, he just couldn't bring himself to after what they had been through. What he put them through.

"Good morning headmaster."

Dumbledore paused at the fourth floor landing and looked around for the person who had called to him.

"Out here."

Dumbledore turned to the open area the stairs spiral around and saw a peculiar sight. Juno Damon floating in mid-air. Not holding onto anything and nothing that he could see holding the boy up.

With a raised eyebrow, Dumbledore spoke to the floating boy. "Practicing for the flying lesson?"

With a huff, Juno folded his arms and legs and looked to be sitting. "I will not apologize for destroying those death traps you called school brooms. They should have been gotten rid of a while ago."

Sighing, Dumbledore laid his arms on the stone railing before replying. "That is true, but sadly the school budget will have some problems while we replace them."

Cocking his head to the side, Juno asked "Didn't you get my note?"

"What note? It might have been placed under all my paperwork. Sorry. What did it say?"

"Oh it was just to inform you that I was donating 9 sets of brooms to the school. 2 for each house and 1 for first years to learn on."

"Young man, I am going to have to decline the brooms! They must cost thousands of galleons and I cannot accept that."

"Well, too bad. I already paid for them and they are on the way. Besides, as Lord War, I have as much funds as I want. I can buy nearly anything. The one thing though, is that I request the brooms be used for all competitive game to make the games more about skill than quality of broom."

"…Sigh. Alright then young man. We shall accept the brooms. This won't curry any favors if that was what you were planning."

"Hahaha. I didn't planning that at all. I'm just looking after the safety of the students." Dumbledore winced at this statement. "I know you tried your best. You did as much as you could." After a moment of silence, Juno sighed and laid back while still in the air. "I know about the mail vault." Dumbledore took a sharp inhale of breath. "I've been through it. A lot of them had either curses, love potions, and spelled in other ways. If you had not done that… we could have been hurt or worse. I have to say-"

Dumbledore looked up to see that Juno was gone. Confused, he looked around and saw Juno was flailing down in mid-air one floor down. After he walked down the floor, Juno continued.

"Thank you! Ugh. Three more floors and I'll be on solid ground."

"And what is happening? Why are you floating?"

"My brother's payback for the double dose of paralysis. Wonder why it took so long for him to get back at me. Pretty neat actually. He had set up 7 zero gravity runes, with rebound runes, and time release runes on each of the landings of the staircase. With that, you've got a punishment that takes seven hours for me to finally be free. Sadly the runes will most likely be burned out after I hit the ground floor so I won't be able to see the chain he used to connect them."

"Fascinating. I never thought something like this is possible."

"Well, with the rapid advancement of technology on the non-magi side, goblins take it as a challenge to keep up with new runes they craft and implementing new things. Though, because of how reluctant old magi are, probably will be years before they catch up."

"Non-magi and magi?"

"Muggles, wizards and witches. Goblin terms that we use. Less derogatory and easier to say."

Rubbing his chin and beard, Dumbledore contemplated on using those terms, before going back to the task at hand. "Is there anyway to get out of this rune chain?"

Snorting, Juno started to do flips and tricks in mid-air to keep himself entertained. "Nope. It's why I said it's pretty neat. He uses the zero gravity rune to keep me in air, and then uses the rebound rune to keep me in the center. That way, I can't escape with someones help. I'll be in this stairwell until 11:05. Thank goodness it's Sunday."

"In that case, I'll see to it the house elves send you some food to munch on until then." With that, Dumbledore went to enjoy his breakfast and to get some paperwork for the Wizengamot done.

September 24th, 1991

Juno was munching on a piece of toast, deliberating on what he was going to do to bug his brother, when a flash of fire appear in front of him, startling most students in the hall. There in front of Juno, stood a phoenix. At first, Dumbledore thought it might have been Fawkes for some reason, but realized from his familiar bond that Fawkes was still in his office.

Juno paled upon seeing the phoenix, and frantically began taking the letter it had, which worried Neville and Hermione, for they had never seen him act like this. After Juno read the note, his face grew dark and furious. Dropping the note, he lovingly stroked the phoenix's beak. "Thank you Flare." He stood and turned to the teachers table.

"Attention please. There has been some trouble at Gringotts that I and my sibling needs to take care of. Because of this, we will be missing class. I do apologize for this trouble. Pestilence!" He shouted the last part, looking towards the Ravenclaw table. At this, Brenda stood up, went to the center of the hall, and disappeared. With a bow, Juno also disappeared.

"Hmm. Seems someone tried to have Lord Ragnok assassinated." With a start, Hermione and Neville just notice Marcus standing where Juno just was sitting, reading the note. With a hop and a flap of it's wings, the phoenix, Flare, landed on top of Marcus' head. Not seeming to react to this, Marcus put the note down, reached into his pocket, pulled out his gun and began to raise it…

"Come now Marcus. Don't do that. You should consider yourself lucky!"

"Jeremy, get this fried chicken off my head before I start firing."

"Oh your just annoyed that the fire bird likes your icy attitude." He said, while holding out his arm and Flare hopping to him.

"I'll show you icy." Marcus said, as he began to grab a cup of water.

"Hello boys. May I ask who's phoenix that is?" Dumbledore said, just as he was walking up to them.

"It's our brother's familiar sir. He saved it from some poachers and they just bonded instantly. Me personally, I believe it's because they're both hot-heads." Jeremy replied with a chuckle at his own joke.

"It's incredibly rare and considered amazing to bond with a phoenix. Now may I know what has made Mr. Damon so upset?"

"Someone went after our lord, I'm sure Juno will be back later today to explain what fully happened."

It wouldn't be until at dinner that night that Juno would return, though Brenda did return during lunch. But when asked what was going on, all she would do is shake her head, hold up her board, and have it write our: I'm sorry, but I cannot say. It's Gringotts business. This seemed to only make students more curious and annoyed.

When Juno did return, he was wearing what looked like very thin metal. It fit tightly around his body, but was more flexible than it should be. Everyone had there eyes on him, some from the crazy suit he was wearing, some from admiring how much muscle could be seen from it. While others had more pressing concerns. As Juno sat down besides Hermione and Neville, Hermione could not contain herself.

"What are you wearing? Where were you? Why were you gone so long? Did you find out who hired the assassin? Did you know you have a knife in your side… Oh my god, you have a knife in your side!"

"I'm wearing mithril speed armor, I was in Russia, I had to fight a few goblins, I did find out who hired them, and what knife?" Looking down and to his left side, Juno saw the knife in question. "Huh. Didn't even notice that. Guess Shanksteel lived up to his name." As Juno grabbed the handle and pulled, the knife didn't budge. He tried a couple of more times with no results. "That's… a problem. Hmm. JEREMY! I need some runes read!"

After a few minutes of inspection, and being relocated to the chamber off the great hall because Juno still refuses to go to the hospital wing, Jeremy reported on what he found.

"Yeah, we're going to need to remove that asap."

"Obviously, but why?"

"Well… It has five components to the rune scheme. First is the armor, the next is rend, third is unmovable, fourth is siphon, and finally, fifth is blood. So all together, it allows it to tear through armor and makes it unable to be removed as it siphons off your blood to another location."

"Explains why I'm starting to feel woozy. Any suggest… NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!"

"...Yes."

"Fine. I'll go see Joyburn. Will you come with me?"

"Nope. Last time you used me as a distraction to run away."

"Please?"

"...Ok."

Five minutes later…

"JUNO GET BACK HERE!"

A/N You know… I think I'm actually getting better at writing this. Let me know what you think.

I can't wait until I get to later in the story. I have some big plans.
