Hey guys! I hope you are all safe and well! Please leave reviews letting me know how you liked my chapter! Enjoy!
Just a side note! I wrote this chapter with a song stuck in my head that I felt went really well with he ending so if you want to give it a listen while reading, the inspiration for this chapter was My Tears Are Becoming A Sea by M83. It made this chapter have so much emotion, and really helped me write what I was feeling.

She hadn't moved once. Not one small flinch or muscle spasm. Nothing.
Stiles sat chained to the wall eyes never leaving Lydia's, watching her limp body remain exactly as it was when the woman injected her with the whatever the hell the yellow liquid was.
The only movement he did see was the rise and fall of her chest letting him know she was still alive and breathing.
That was all he needed right now.
Or was it? Cause right now in this moment he was thinking of needing to hold her, to have her pressed up against him. To smell the strawberry scented shampoo that always lingered in her hair.
There was this fear in the back of his mind that the serum they gave her would do damage, and once it settled in his head he couldn't let the thought go. That fear of losing her made him realize what he needed or rather wanted to do in that moment, and it felt so right. Then it suddenly felt wrong as Malia popped into his head.
What the hell was he doing?
It was when he was deep in thought that something caught his eye. Movement, and movement from Lydia. She moved her head and began to groan, and that was when Stiles could see the sheen of sweat covering her face. The serum was already working, and he didn't know what to expect but all he knew was that he was going to go crazy stuck doing nothing but able to watch her.

It was so hot.
Was she sitting in a sauna? Was that sweat running down her face?
Lydia awoke confused, and it took her a few minutes to come to when she opened her eyes. It was like it all came rushing back to her in one giant wave, the kidnapping and Stiles and the serum that was injected into her. Couldn't it just have been a nightmare? She could have just woken up next to Stiles back at his house.
Apparently not, and with her luck she knew that thought was very far fetched. What she really did realize though was she was actually burning up. She felt like her veins and insides had been set on fire. Whatever they gave her did not feel right.
Lydia noticed Stiles' eyes on her, "How long have I been out?"
He instinctively moved his hand to his pocket to grab his phone but it was useless and he forgot they took them. He was hoping Lydia didn't pick up on it but he gave her an estimate anyways, "A few hours? Maybe more?"
Lydia processed the information and nodded back, not really knowing what to say. She still felt terrible that he was stuck here with her.
"How are you feeling?" He wanted to make sure she knew he was here for her. He couldn't do much but he was gonna try.
"Um, hot. Really hot actually. I don't think my body is taking the serum well." She tried to brush some hair that had matted to her forehead out of the way but she was unsuccessful.
Stiles nodded, for some reason he had no words. He didn't know what to say so he didn't say anything at all. How do you try and comfort someone that just got injected with some mysterious liquid and is going to be used to help find and kill their friends? See? No words. His mind was running a mile a minute.
"You are gonna have to find a way to escape." Lydia rolled her head to her other shoulder to prop herself up and get a good look at Stiles.
Stiles again found that he had no words but it wasn't from feeling helpless, it was from anger that was bubbling up inside him. Did she just say what he think she said? If so, she was out of her damn mind. "What? Lydia you think I'm just gonna leave you here?" If his hands weren't tied up he would have been flailing them to show his exasperation from her comment.
She knew he would fight against her on it but if they wanted any shot of them getting out alive, Stiles was their only option. At least getting Stiles to safety and knowing he was alive would make her feel better. She didn't even falter under his words, "Yes you are going to have to Stiles. You think they are gonna let me out of these cuffs anytime soon?"
It was quiet.
"Exactly. They need me right now, they want to find Scott and everyone. If someone can get out and let our friends know somehow and stop this, it's gonna be you that needs to do it." She squirmed from discomfort, her eyebrows furrowing together for a moment as pain flickered across her face. Stiles didn't let that go unnoticed. Then as if nothing happened she continued to talk. "They don't want you, they want me."
Stiles was trying not to let his anger get the best of him but it was hard when he disagreed with her so much. They wanted her so therefore they were going to do whatever they wanted with her, he could never leave and wonder what was happening. "Lydia..."
"Stiles please. You have to. Knowing you will be able to help everyone and get yourself to safety is what matters. Please." Lydia felt pain shoot up her arm but hid the pain well. The last thing she needed was Stiles to see her in pain because then he would never leave and she knew it.
"Do you hear yourself right now?" Stiles couldn't hold it in anymore. "When did anyone decide that you don't matter huh? You think I can just run out of here and leave you and just be okay? It would kill me Lydia! Did you not get that from me following you here?" His chest was moving up and down quickly from his heavy breathing. It was like he saw red. "If something happened to you I would go out of my freaking mind! Don't you get that?"
Lydia remained quiet at Stiles confession. They always knew they had a strong connection and their friendship was great, but they never talked about their feelings and emotions like this towards each other. Lydia never thought he would say anything like that to her, and it made her heart explode. She felt butterflies forming in her stomach even though this was not the ideal situation, but it was the thought that he was still with Malia that made the butterflies die out. Even if he said what he said, it was in a friendship way and no more. She couldn't let herself get excited.
The room remained quiet. Stiles breathing began to even out as he calmed down and he muttered quietly, "What you are asking of me is insane. If the roles were reversed what would you do?"
It was then Stiles knew he had got her. She had nothing to say back because her silence said it all. She would be fighting to stay with him just like he is with her. His eyes never left her as she dropped her gaze to the floor, he was about to say more when he heard talking on the other side of the wall. Lydia's head whipped up fast to look at the door but no one entered. It was then she felt the shooting pain in her arm shoot all the way up to her chest, right to her heart. She tightened her lips together, she wasn't going to let these people get the satisfaction of breaking her and she certainly wasn't going to tell them anything about her friends.
She was gonna fight this, and she was determined to win.
The voice continued to talk on the other side of the wall, and was hard to hear. So Stiles turned his attention back to Lydia. It was then he saw her hands in fists and her body shaking, her beautiful eyes slammed shut with pain crossing her face. He knew immediately that they had found someone.

Derek had smelled someone immediately, and the fact that he felt like he was being watched. Whoever it was, was not good at not letting people know they were there. He could hear their breathing, and the slight shuffle of their feet against the leaves. He knew someone was outside his house and waiting for him to leave. He didn't dare look out the window, but pulled his phone out to send everyone a text to stay far away.
That was when he heard tires squeak to a stop outside, and car doors shutting and the voice of Scott McCall.

The pain was everywhere, it was almost as if she was going numb. Sweat had covered her neckline, and she felt it trickling down her back. This was pain she had never experienced before, and she has had her fair share with their supernatural troubles. Still, her lips remained pursed together, she was unwilling to open them for anyone including Stiles who was pulling and yanking on his chains. He kept repeating her name over and over again, each time it felt like it was getting louder and louder and ringing in her ears.
Stiles wrists were ruined, blood trickled down to his hands from the constant pulling. He hadn't even noticed because of his focus on Lydia, but it still didn't matter because he was determined to get to her somehow. He continued to bang the cuffs against the wall in hope of breaking them somehow, causing loud clangs of the chains on the floor. He knew it was loud and he couldn't imagine it was helping Lydia but if it got the woman's attention, he needed to keep going.
He continued on until he heard the click of the door unlocking and woman's voice halt.
"What the hell is going on in here?" The woman opened the door to Stiles banging his chains loudly. "Hey!" Stiles didn't stop, he needed to make her angry. "Hey stop it! I can't even think!"
Stiles didn't stop but yelled for her to hear, "Unchain me and I'll stop."
This got the woman's attention, and she immediately knew why he wanted to be unchained. Her gaze fell on Lydia who was struggling to keep a straight face, even if she did her heavy breathing and the cold sweat that covered face gave away the pain she was in. Laughter slowly began to fill the room as the woman brought a ring with keys on them out of her pocket. Stiles made a mental note of where she kept them and what they looked like.
"You wanna go take care of your little girlfriend?" She continued to snicker and she fumbled with the keys and walked towards Stiles. Stiles felt relief fill his body at the fact that he was about to be let go, he sure as hell was gonna try.
The woman stuck the key in each cuff and his hands fell down to the floor limp from the damage done from his pulling. After his left hand was released he still sat in the same spot rubbing his wrists, he wasn't about to run to Lydia giving the woman satisfaction of her plan working and torturing her.
The woman then grabbed the phone from her other pocket and put it to her ear and continued to talk, about what? Stiles had no idea because he was preparing himself for when the door shut to run across the room. As soon as the door slammed and the lock clicked he couldn't have moved faster. He stood and took off and practically slid in front of Lydia. His hands moved to both sides of her face lifting it up so he could see her clearly, and his heart broke. She was still clenching her teeth and mouth shut eyes furrowed. She was fighting the serum, giving everything she had.
Stiles was worried yes, but the awe of Lydia's strength filled his head as he took in her form. She was not going to give these people what they wanted, and she would bury herself six feet underground if that's what it took.
So he was going to give her everything he had to help. "Lydia look at me. Lydia." He was trying to get her attention, snap her out of her focused state.
When she looked up her eyes glassy with tears but refusing to let them spill, she sobbed his name "Stiles".
"I know. I'm here." He moved his thumb to brush her cheek, thinking he would catch the tears but they never came. Lydia wouldn't let it happen. "I'm here."
He moved her body to lean forward as he crawled behind her so his back hit the wall. His legs moved to the sides to let her sit between them, and he slowly leaned her back down against his chest. She put her all her body weight against him, letting him wrap his arms around her. Her face nuzzled against his neck, and he held his arms strong around her not because she couldn't hold herself up, he knew she could because she was strong but he wanted to support her. He wanted to let her know he was here for her.
Her body was shaking and her breathing was uneven and heavy but he was there and he had her. He had her in his arms, and if it were up to him he would never leave her no matter how much she begged. But it was finally when he had her in his arms that he realized the truth. It physically felt like his heart was shattering thinking about it but he knew what he had to do. It was then that he finally let the tears fall down his face. He couldn't see it before but it was crystal clear now. If he wanted to help Lydia and his friends he had to listen to her. He had to do what everything in his body was telling him not to.
He had to leave. He had to leave Lydia behind.
