"Are you ready?" Stiles kneeled in front of Lydia moving a piece of her damp hair from her face. She shook her head letting him know she knew the plan, she had to admit it was a pretty good plan. She just hoped it would go well, and that Stiles could get out of here.

Stiles nodded along with her, "Okay we got this." He didn't know if he was trying to tell himself or Lydia. He was nervous, hell he was always nervous about something. This time a lot could go wrong. Lydia was depending on him, his pack were depending on him.

"Stiles you got this okay? I need you to get out of here and be safe. Help everyone please." Lydia wanted to say so much more but she knew if she said a somewhat goodbye Stiles would not have it. "I believe in you."

She wanted to leave it at that, and it was just what Stiles needed to hear. He threw his arms around her hugging her tightly. His hand moving to the back of her head to hold her close, "I got this okay. You need to be safe too."

She nodded against him, she so wished she could hug him back but her arms were still chained. She knew they wouldn't be unchaining her anytime soon.

When Stiles let her go, he gave her a slight nod and began yelling. This was it, Lydia had to put on the show of a lifetime.

Stiles ran to the door, "Hey! What the hell did you do to her! She isn't breathing! Open this door!" He continued to bang and yell in order to get the woman's attention. He just needed the woman to be so focused on Lydia that she didn't shut the door. That was his escape. He finally heard footsteps approaching and a voice that yelled at him to step back, so he did.

When the door opened the woman kept it closed slightly and peeked in, "What the hell are you screaming about?"

Stiles immediately began to tell her how Lydia had stopped breathing all of a sudden and she wasn't waking up. He faked the information about not getting a pulse, and just talking about her in that way made him tear up. He couldn't even help himself, but it ended up making a better show for the woman.

He saw the worry on her face, "Not again!" and she sprinted inside pulling the door to slam shut behind her but Stiles swiftly moved in and stuck his shoe between the door and the frame and pushed it back open quietly. He turned to quickly run but stopped to get one last look at Lydia, she sat eyes closed as the woman looked her over feeling her neck for a pulse. His heart hurt leaving her there but he knew he couldn't waste time and he needed to do this. So with one last look he took off letting the door shut behind him.

When he turned he was met with unfamiliarity and needed a way to get out fast because he knew the woman would notice quickly. He was in a big room with tables set up with chemicals and equipment. He figured it must have been the main room that was being used. He was quickly led into a hall with multiple doors. Nothing leading him to an exit that he could see.

What he did notice was that there were no windows, and that water was leaking from the roof in multiple spots. It rained in Beacon Hills but not enough for the amounts of water he was seeing. Unless it was runoff groundwater.

It was then he realized that he would have to be looking for stairs or a ladder of some sort, because he quickly knew that they were underground. Stiles couldn't believe it but he still didn't have time to think so he ran. He was looking for more water, cause wherever there was more water would most likely lead him to a door that was being opened to the outside.

Lydia stayed as still as she possibly could. She couldn't ruin this for Stiles, she needed him to get out safely. She heard the door open and the woman rush up to her on the floor. Her hand reaching for Lydia's neck and checking her pulse which Lydia had tried to slow down as much as possible. The woman lightly tapped her cheek checking for consciousness. When she realized Lydia was alive and well, and her banshee wasn't dead Lydia could hear a sigh of relief.

That relief disappeared really fast when she turned around and noticed Stiles was gone and the door was open, "Son of a bitch." She left Lydia's side and took off after Stiles. All Lydia could do was pray that he would make it out before she would reach him.

Stiles couldn't remember where he was anymore there had been so many halls and doors he had passed. He was still following the trail of water in hopes that he could find some exit, that's when he heard footsteps. Shit. He knew the woman must have realized that he had gotten out. He needed to pick up his pace.

He started running fast and moving down the halls while trying to remain as quiet as possible to not give away his location. The foot steps were getting closer, and his heart felt like it was about to fall out of his chest. He had to do this.

It was then he noticed he had hit a dead end but he wasn't left with nothing. He saw the latch top above him that he needed to unscrew to open up. This had to be it.

He climbed the steps up to the latch door and began moving the wheel, the metal squeaking from being old and tarnished. Stiles pushed and kept moving the wheel as fast as he could, when the woman turned the corner to where he stood. He saw her down the hall. "Shit." He started to scramble.

"Hey! Where the hell do you think you are going!" The woman was running down the hall towards him.

With one final turn he heard the latch pop and he gave a push sending the door flying open, making Stiles squint from the bright light from outside. He didn't have time to let his eyes adjust, he started to lift himself up when he felt two hands grab his foot. It caused him to get pulled backwards leaving him hanging from the rims of the latch door. His fingers gripping the rusted metal hard.

She kept pulling, and Stiles knew he couldn't hold on for long so he swung his foot in her direction allowing it to hit her face knocking her backwards. When she fell back her grip let go of Stiles, and he acted fast. Pulling himself up through the latch, landing in grass and dirt outside and swinging the door shut.

Once that metal slammed shut, he wasted no time running. He could hear his heartbeat in his ears, it felt like it was beating too fast. Stiles could not catch his breath but there was no way he was stopping anytime soon. He had gotten a good distance away when he heard the latch swing open, and he leaped behind a tree pressing himself flat against it. Trying to make his breathing quiet.

He could make out some running footsteps close by, and remained flat against the tree as to not get noticed. He waited as the footsteps got quieter and eventually he heard the latch door squeak open and shut.

He then took off not looking back. He needed to find Scott and his pack. Yet with every footstep he took, the pain of leaving Lydia behind got stronger and stronger.
