"—HE'LL NEVER CATCH US ON THAT PATCH OF ICE!!" Junior exclaimed noticing that part of the ocean had frozen ahead of them.
As the kids raced across the frozen water, they did not know that the Beastmaster had another plan for them. He pressed a button on his helmet and simply waited for a moment.
"Uh, guys..." Laura said. "Don't look now, but THAR SHE BLOOOOOOOOWS!!"
The ice patch rumbled, giving way to an enormous spray of frozen water covering nearly everything. A massive blue whale burst from the ice, breaching high into the air.
"Wow..." Annie said, for a brief moment admiring the sea mammal as it hummed a whale song. "Balaenoptera musculus.."
Once the whale slammed back into the ocean, the boat was sent flying high into the air, a large tidal wave soaking everything in its wake.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIII'M GONNA HUUUUUUUUUURL!!" Libby yelled as the boat only seemed to go up even higher.
"IF YOU GOTTA BLOW CHUNKS DON'T DO IT IN HERE!!" Laura replied.
Then, quickly thinking, Junior was able to use Percy's liquidator and zapped it directly at the Beastmaster's mind control helmet, which made it instantly turn to liquid, and the animals were able to return to consciousness.
"Why didn't you just do that before?" Percy asked.
"It wasn't the right moment." Junior replied.
Suddenly, the boat started to fall back down towards the lake, but instead, smashed against the ice. The kids and the Inuit cucumber were not hurt, they landed directly on top of the polar bear from earlier—this time he licked them.
"—Funny." Annie remarked. "A while ago he was tryin' to kill us."
