chapter 1: A strange new world
RAINBOW DASH POV
I looked up at the huge castle in front of me, the vast towers towering over me. Hogwarts. I stepped in, as a student. I smiled. I've always wanted to come here.
"Hi," said a voice. I turned.
"Hi," I said. "I'm Rainbow Dash."
"Harry Potter." said the boy. "This is Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger."
The bushy haired girl waved and the red-headed boy smiled.
"Welcome to Hogwarts," said Hermione. "I'm a prefect for Gryffindor, and Ron's the other. Welcome to Gryffindor!"
I smiled. "Any sports?" I inquired.
"Yeah," said Harry. "Quidditch Trials on Friday."
"OOH!" I cried. "I've heard of Quidditch and I've always wanted to play it!"
Hermione rolled her eyes. "I thought you were a reader. But it seems like you are more of a sportswoman, hey?"
I nodded. "I've brought my broom with me and I can't wait!" I cried.
Harry took my arm. "Come on, we'll show you around. It's the second day."
