Welcome Dravenites to my new story. Enjoy the first chapter of Could it be? Also this story is not canonical with Sam and Cat. So I guess it's AU-ish.
Los Angeles California, a place for future stars to rise to the top of their respective fields. And this was just the case for 20 year old Sam Puckett.
Sam was in LA for one reason. She had been offered an audition for the prestigious Elliott dance academy and was tempted to test her skills as a dancer. Sam had tried to keep her skills as a dancer on the downlow from Carly and Freddie but eventually decided to just tell them. She was surprised how liberating it was to finally be herself.
Sam walked towards the carousal to collect her flannel-print suitcase. She tried not to move her head to much as she was pretty hungover. Lucky for Sam she had booked herself a night at the airport hotel. Until she found a place of her own she would be staying with her dad who she had become quite close to. A year ago he had shown up at Pam's house begging for forgiveness. He said he was a stupid kid when he left them and he would be forever grateful if he was given a second chance.
Pam however, wasn't interested in getting back together with him but granted he could get to know his children.
Brett Puckett was a tall man with salt and pepper hair. Typically he wore exercise pants, white NIKE shoes and an exercise shirt. Currently he was a pastor at the local mega church despite looking like his job was a personal trainer. When he heard that Sam was coming to LA he immediately insisted that she stay with him until she found her own place. Brett's house was pretty regular, it had a kitchen, living room, sun room, four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dining room. Outside his garden was average sized with a fish pond by the entrance, he also had a deep pool with a stump where a tree was, that was used for trick jumps, a guilty pleasure of his.
Sam went to the airport hotel. It was quite spacious, it was of course, a Holiday Inn franchise. The hotel crescent shape with a large garden and pool out back.
Sam walked up to the receptionist. '' Hi, Sam Puckett'' she said courteously.
The elderly receptionist looked at her. '' Oh right we have you staying on the 8th floor, room 309, here's your key, checkout's at 11.''
Sam smiled as she took the card. She was ready to start her new life in LA, little did she know, she was in for the ride of her life.
I know this chapter is remarkably short but it's just an introduction, it gets longer I promise.
