Chapter 1- A Surprise Return

As much as I didn't want it to end this way, I didn't have much of a choice and neither did he. Feeling his hand pierce through my heart and taking my life didn't feel too hard. I gave one last look and gave a thankful expression. At the last second of my final breath his eye that our friend gave him changed. I hear a scream from a distance but couldn't see what or who that was. Everything went black and all I can notice was my life lifting to the air. Then out of nowhere my body starts going down and I was confused to where I was going. Then a voice called out.

"Wake up."

I jerked my head up and gave out some hard breaths. I looked at myself and notice I was on a bed with my body bandaged up and I looked at my hands wondering if I was alive or dead. Then the same voice spoke out.

"Don't worry. You are alive."

I looked at the voice that was talking and was shock to see this man. Though I can tell his presence seemed safe. I spoke out.

"But how am I alive?"

"Wasn't easy. Took a high amount of chakra to keep you alive and to find a suitable heart."

"What?"
"You got a new heart. What else is there to say?"

I looked closely at this man and his eyes spooked me and he seemed too noticed.

"Ah, yeah my eyes are not normal."

"What are you?"

"I'm something that shouldn't even be existing but the person that brought me back payed the price."

I looked around and asked.

"Where am I?"

"You are in my home. I found you out in the open after a monster went on a rampage on the Hidden Mist ninjas. Pretty bloody I'll say but look who I brought in. The Three Tails Jinchuriki."

When he said that I looked at him with a shock expression. I tried to move but was still injured. Though he reassured himself.

"Don't worry. I'm not here to use you. Instead I want to protect you and help you understand this power that is within you."

"What do you mean?"

He smiled and stood up and made a hand signal. Then an orange cloak formed around him and I was shock at what I was witnessing.

"What is this you're showing me?"

"It's a chakra cloak. It boost the speed and power of a Jinchuriki depending on the amount of tails you take."

"Wait you are a Jinchuriki?"

"Yes but like I said before, I shouldn't even be here. Though seeing you it gave me a new purpose in my journey."

"I wasn't asked to be a Jinchuriki. They forced me so I can go on a rampage in my village. I asked my friend to take my life but he refused. So I had to do it myself."

"I understand and yes, being a Jinchuriki isn't easy but I can help you bond with your tailed beast for a better purpose. Here give me your hand."

He put his hand out and at first I was worried but I did so. He closed his eyes and then him and I appeared in a blacken area with water surrounding us. I was confused on where we were and he broke it down.

"Where we are is what I call the void between us and the tailed beasts."

"What does that mean?"

"Turn around and look for yourself."

I did and I got scared at what I saw. It was the tailed beast that was put inside me. I was shaking my legs and wasn't sure on what to do. And the man behind me put his hand on my shoulder and laughed out.

"Ha ha ha, impressive isn't he?"

"It has a gender?"
"I think so but his name sounds male."

"And it has a name?"

"Yes, his name is Isobu and an excellent tailed beast he is. You can guide the water very excellently and use it to your advantage. Hey are you awake big guy?"

The beast opened his eyes and was surprised to see the man and myself. I was still a bit scared to say something to him. The man continue to smile and said, "Yes very impressive to see you, the real you."

"The real him?"

"Oh yeah look at my direction."

I did and saw another three tailed beast behind him. I was confused now on what I was witnessing.

"What's going on?"

"What you see here is half of Isobu. The other half that you have is the true Isobu. I was given this half in order to keep living."

"Keep living?"

"Oh yeah, when you extract a tailed beast out of a Jinchuriki. You will begin to lose your life. It's impossible to keep the person alive unless one is to give up their life for another… I think but there could be other options."

"Really?"

I then let it sink in and was about to cry but again the man reassured me.

"Like said, I will help you understand Isobu and use his powers for good."

He closed his eyes and we reappeared back in his home. I blinked my eyes for a bit and shook my head in agreement.

"Alright but for now rest up so your wounds can heal because this training will take many years to practice for your age."

"Okay but wait can I ask something?"

"Anything child?"

"What is your name?"

He was silent for a moment but said.

"Hiroshi Senju."

"Are you possibly related to the second Hokage of the Leaf Village?"

"Maybe but who knows."

"Hiroshi, alright well my name is Rin…Rin Nohara."

"It's nice to know your name thank you. Rest well Rin."

The man left and closed the door. I then looked out the window of the glowing moonlight shining down on me.

-Two Years Later-

I sat on the ground sensing my surroundings. I listen around to the breeze of the trees and then there a shuriken was heading towards me and I got out of the way on time, then another one coming from behind and so I threw one to block it. I landed back to the ground and he came out and threw a punch. His punch scratched my cheek but I countered it with my own punch and I was laying off some blows on him. Then with one sweep I knocked him down and aimed a kunai near his throat.

"Got you!"

"Hmm, impressive Rin. Your senses are getting better."

I picked him up and we bow our heads to end our sparring match. We went back inside and I started up a meal for us to eat. He's aware that he can't eat but still chooses to enjoy my cooking. We soon finish eating and went back outside.

"Alright Rin. Let's try it again."

"Alright Sensei."

I made a hand signal and concentrated. I can feel the chakra rising through my vital points and a burst of energy hit me. I put my hand down and looked at myself. I can see the orange of the chakra flowing out and I looked behind but no tailed appeared out. I was a bit disappointed but Hiroshi gave me some clarification.

"Don't worry this is actually a good step. This form in a way is the chakra cloak but like a sign form. Soon your tails will appear when the timing is right. Come let's head inside and rest for the night."

"Okay."

We were about to walk inside the home until an earth like quake shook the ground. I was curious on what was going on and so did Hiroshi. We climbed the tallest tree and out from the distance I saw a giant beast with nine tails rampaging on a village. At first I wasn't aware on who the beast was but Hiroshi knows it.

"It's the nine tails, Kurama."

"Kurama?"

"Yeah but he was sealed within a girl of the Uzumaki clan."

"Uzumaki? Wait do you mean Kushina? The Leaf Village!"

"How do you know that name?"

"She was my previous sensei's wife. I heard rumors of something about her but I didn't think it was that."

"Yes but seeing that he is free, her life doesn't have much to live."

"Then we have to go and save her."

I was about to move but Hiroshi stopped me.

"No it's too risky. Plus Kurama is too powerful. He's the strongest tailed beast out of all eight including us."

"I can't just stay here while I know her life is in danger. And my other friends as well."

"I understand but we can't do it."

I was getting angry of what Hiroshi was saying and my blood was boiling and some of my chakra was leaking out. Hiroshi noticed it and gave a deep breath and summoned a shadow clone. The clone left our area and I was curious on what he did.

"I am sending a clone out to see what is happening at the Village. And to watch the outcome once the rampage is done."

I was still a bit worried but I nodded my head of his decision.

"Let's head inside where it's safe and tomorrow I'll inform on what happened."

We did and I went to sleep but again a full moon shined down on me and I took it as hope.

-The next day-

I woke up to a nice rested sleep but I looked to my right to see Hiroshi sitting down on the floor. I was curious on why he was there.

"Hiroshi? Why are you-"

"Rin, I need you to listen carefully. What I'm about to tell you isn't pleasant."

I was shock to hear that because I knew it was something from last night.

"What happened?"

"Kurama's rampage was finished and in the end many lives were lost and some survived. In the end, Kurama was sealed away inside a baby."

"Oh I thought that maybe-"

"I'm not done Rin."

I closed my mouth.

"But two brave souls were lost to seal him. Kushina Uzumaki was one of the souls and the other was their Fourth Hokage named Minato Namikaze."

When he said those names my eyes grew wide with a shock expression. Hiroshi didn't have to look at me to know my reaction.

"I'm guessing you had a deep bond with them. And Minato must be your previous sensei. Hmm, I'll let you be."

Hiroshi got up and left my room and closed the door. I looked down and tears begin to fall down my face and I let out a cry.

-12 years later-

I was walking with Hiroshi to the gates of the Village. It may have been long but Hiroshi has told me that it is time for me to return. I was a bit hesitant at first but I feel as if I am ready. We stopped by a crossing guard because Hiroshi wanted to send a message. The crossing guard agreed and left. Hiroshi walked back to me and we sat down on a bench.

"What did you say?"

"Well I asked to send a message to the Fifth Hokage but it turns out the Third Hokage took over after Minato's passing."

"Oh really?"

"I believe so. Soon the Third will arrive here to greet us."

"Okay."

A couple minutes passed by and soon the Third arrives and waved us forward to greet him. We walked over and bowed our heads and raised them up.

"Ah Hiroshi, it has been awhile. How is it you're still alive?"

"I'm not sure."

"Hmm, actually looking at your eyes you have been reanimated. Huh and why is that?"

"The reanimation Jutsu that my cousin invented? I see well I was brought back because the man that summoned me was trying to extract my tailed beast from me. But I took care of him already."

"Hmm, alright then I shall have someone come by and release you from the reanimation."

"Thank you, Hiruzen."

Hiruzen then looked at me but didn't recognize me. He took a puff from his smoker and asked.

"And who is this woman with you?"

"Please introduce yourself."

I was a bit shy but I spoke out.

"My name is Rin Nohara."

When I said that he dropped his smoker and from behind I heard a voice.

"RIn!"

I turned around and was shock to see who called my name.
