It is I the Author and I am just putting down this message to give a heads up. Some parts in my chapters like this one will feature some time skips. Don't worry though I will still keep the story in motion. So enjoy chapter 3 and soon chapter 4 will come.

Chapter 3- Knowing True Power

It's been many years now and my life has been going well so far. We may have lost the third Hokage but eventually another one has been found. Lady Tsunade is her name and a strong women I will say. Though news broke out that Sasuke's brother and a man named Kisame were trying to kidnap Naruto. We weren't sure on their intentions but we were lucky that Jiraiya was there to protect him. It's funny to see Jiraiya though. I heard he was the one that trained Naruto to master the rasengan. He really is starting to act more like Minato. As time went on though Sasuke became more distance towards his friends and one day he left and became a rouge ninja. What I heard is that he joined with Orochimaru so that he can be his student. Others say that he left to find answers but for me I felt the pain that Naruto was having. Soon Naruto left with Jiraiya to begin a long intensive training. Jiraiya asked if I wanted to join because he informed me of the Nine Tail's chakra that was starting to leak out. As much as I wanted to join them, I decided to stay in case the village needed an aid. He understood and they left. For the past three years, I watched as Naruto's friends grew older and gotten stronger in their own ways. I got to know that Hinata girl and was surprise for her feelings towards Naruto. I hope one day she will get to express herself towards him. Sakura began training under Tsunade and I must say it looked really tuff for her. During this time as well, we looked more into Itachi and it turns out he is with a group known as the Akatsuki. Their goals are not yet informed to us but soon something will come up.

Once again, I am inside the home of Kakashi and still I am meditating with Isobu to try to get a better link with him. He is starting to talk a bit here and there but still I am only able to reach a one tail cloak state. Though my meditation was interrupted by a sudden appearance. This was a known figure that I am sensing and was happy to see if I was right on who it was. I left the home and went off to go find him. As I was passing by buildings, I notice Kakashi standing by on his own. I landed next to him and looked over and gave a wave. I walked next to him to see who he was watching and sure enough it was him.

"Wow is that really Naruto?"

"Yeah Rin. He sure does look different."

"It's only been three years and he's already that grown up."

"Heh, yup. Come on I have a feeling on where he'll be going next."

"Oh uh okay."

We left the building we were on and landed outside the window of the fifth hokages office. Kakashi sat down and took out a book that I am too familiar with.

"I thought you said you stopped reading that?"

"Yeah but I am reading it again."

"I don't really get why this book is so popular."

Then I heard the door open and I can hear Naruto having a conversation with Tsunade. I then heard how she wants to see the results of his training. I can feel his footsteps coming to the window and he peaked out. He gave a surprise expression seeing me and Kakashi out here.

"Hey!"

"Kakashi-sensei and Rin."

"Hi Naruto. You look very different."

"Well I am still myself. Oh and Kakashi, I would like to give you this."

He took out a book and when I looked at it, the tittle of the book was called Make out Tactics. I wasn't sure on what it was but Kakashi sure made a shocked face. He gave it to him and Tsunade got Kakashi back in line. He got up and said.

"I'll be your opponent Naruto and Sakura."

-Training Field-

We arrived at the training field and I sat back while I watch Kakashi use Minato's training tactic with the bells. Their fight was nothing to compare to. They really went all out. It lasted for a while so I left back to Kakashi's place because I was getting hungry. I cooked up a meal for myself and Kakashi for when he gets back. I was getting ready to sleep until Kakashi came through the door. I got up to see how it went.

"So how did the spar go?"

"It went well and let's say they pass."

"Wow really? I'm a bit shock to see you get outplayed by your students."

"Yeah they are really full of surprises."

"What made them catch you off guard?"

He explained the event that made him loose his focus to me and I gave a blank expression.

"You really lost to one simple fake spoil?"

"Yeah but Rin I don't want anything to ruin the story for me. I haven't even started reading it."

I flick Kakashi's forehead and chuckled a bit.

"Sometimes you act too much like Obito."

I left to sleep and Kakashi soon joined in bed with me.

-Few Weeks Later-

I was called in by Jiraiya to discuss Naruto's nine tail problem. We met out in the training area and he told me the events that took place during his training with Naruto. I was shock to learn that Kurama was trying to take over. He went up to four tails and Jiraiya was close to death. Though he managed to put a seal on him before anything else got worse.

"The reason I called you though is to discuss with Naruto and maybe teach him to control the power of the nine tails."
"What are you serious? Jiraiya, I'm not sure if I can do something like that. The three tails within me agreed to not take over my body but he isn't willing to let me use his full strength."

"How many tails can you go up to?"

"Well only up to one tail in the cloak form but nine tails is different. Do you really think I may be able to help Naruto?"

"I'm sure of it. Please do it for me and Minato. I'm sure this is probably something that he wants."

When he mention Minato I couldn't help but think of his purpose for Naruto. So the next day I met with Naruto and we went out to start our small training. Jiraiya came in case things get out of hand. I sat down and Naruto did the same.

"Alright Naruto, you understand what we will be doing right?"

"Yes."

"Okay then grab my hands so that I can send us to the void."

"Okay."

As Naruto did so, I transfer our consciousness to the void. Naruto seemed to be familiar with this place and so I asked.

"You seem to know this place?"

"Yeah, I've been here a couple times whenever the nine tails tried something funny."

"Try? I only want to help you."

We turn to see that it was none other than the nine tails himself.

"It's the fox. Back off you animal!"

"Naruto please respect Kurama. I know he tried to harm you but he is a powerful being."

"Ah so the woman knows my name."

"Wait the nine tails has a name?"

"Yes and so does my tailed beast. Isobu."

And from behind Isobu appeared before us. Kurama seemed very displeased to see him.

"It's been awhile Kurama. How is it being sealed inside this child?"

"Why should I answer to a weak being like you?"

"Calm now, our creator informed us to not treat every person as our enemy. I may be inside this woman but I only trust her with a portion of my power."

"And you think I should trust this boy!?"

He let out a huge roar and this threw us off. I then was pushed out of the void and back into my body. I got up to only see that Naruto was getting taken by the cloak. I looked to Jiraiya and signaled him to stop it but he just gave a blank expression. I looked back to only see that Naruto was fighting it. I was shock to see what was happening and then he blinked his eyes and got up. He looked at his arms and legs to witness his own eyes the tailed beast chakra cloak. He was only in the first tailed form.

"Naruto? How did you do it?"

"Well Rin, I had a small talk with um, Kurama right?"

"Yes."

"I told him if he can cooperate than maybe I will let him go."

"Naruto if you let him go then there's no telling what will happen."

"I know but your tailed beast helped out in the part as well."

"He did?"

"Yeah, he mentioned some words from their creator or something and this calmed Kurama down a bit. So he agreed to lend me some power but not all of it. I will though keep an eye out in case he does try something funny."

"Alright then well I am glad to see this as a success."

"A success indeed. You know what this calls for?"

"Ramen, Jiraiya-sensei!?"

"Exactly! Want to join us Rin?"

"Sure."

We left to go chow down on our success but I can't help but wonder if maybe Isobu is finally willing to work with me.

-In the Hidden village of Rain-

"Have the members acquired any of the tailed beasts yet?"

"Some have but others are close to their objective."

"Then it's only a matter of time till we launch our attack on the Leaf. Find me Sasuke, I would like to have a talk with him."
