Chapter 5- Answers to Find

After they left, Kakashi and I couldn't stop thinking about the man in the mask. In the end it was concluded that it could possibly be a man named Madara Uchiha. Still answers are still needed to be found. Yet our objective is still the same so we headed off. At this point on though I began thinking about the man in the mask. Something still felt odd about him and the aura he gave off. He may talk like Madara but something tells me he's more than that. I stopped during our walk and Kakashi noticed.

"Rin is everything alright?"

"I'm not sure."

"What is it?"

"I think Obito might still be alive."

Kakashi was silent for a moment then said.

"What makes you think that?"

"Think about Kakashi, Madara has been dead. There's no other way for him to come back to life. Plus Obito's body went missing so there's a chance that maybe he took his body and is under some kind of control."

Kakashi wasn't buying anything that I was saying.

"Rin as much as I want to believe that I think that is impossible. There's no type of jutsu that can just transfer one consciousness to another."

"What about mind transfer?"

"Rin please just calm down."

"No! I think what I've been dreaming isn't a lie."

"What dream?"

I stayed silent and Kakashi was getting a bit frustrated. Everyone else that was with us were already ahead so we were mostly behind. Kakashi spoke out.

"Rin I think maybe you should return to the village. I feel that there's too much problems going on right now."

"Too much problems! Like hell there is!"

My anger was starting to boil and Kakashi gave a shock look at my hand. I looked at it and was surprise to see it leak out. I calmed myself down and gave a deep breath.

"Kakashi the dream I was having was mostly about Obito. He kept calling out to me. He say things that felt too real to believe. He wants me to save him and go find him. I felt that this masked man might know something about it. If you don't want to believe me then I will go back to the village. Just know that if you don't follow me back than I know how you truly feel."

I turned around and began my return to the village. I ran a few distance and then started walking in hoping that he will follow. I looked back and once again nothing. The answer was clear and soon I was back at the village. Danzo was surprise to see me. He was going to send a messenger to inform the others of a Five Kage Summit about to happen pretty soon. He asked if I wish to join him but I ignore the offer and returned home. I opened the door and slammed it shut. I went to the bathroom and took a shower. While in it I kept thinking about what I am going to do next. And very certain I know what I am going to do. The next morning I got my things and whatever else I might need. I left Kakashi a note explaining my feelings towards him and my true feelings about Obito. I hope he doesn't get too upset over it. Soon I left without anyone noticing and headed straight to the one place I know I can find something. I arrived and seeing this area gives me chills. Before re-entering the scene, I made a call. I sat down and called out to him.

("Isobu? If you're there I am sorry. I let my emotions take over and almost lost myself. I failed the teachings of my sensei but I won't fail you. Please if you are there forgive me and I'll try to make it up for you.")

I opened my eyes and entered the cave that took him. I begin looking around for the place that it could be in. Then I found it. The big boulder that took his life yet saving Kakashi. It was dug out so that the recovering team can get to him yet there's nothing to recover. I looked around the rock but couldn't find any hint of his survival. Then a voice called out.

"It's nice of you to visit."

I turn around but only to get knocked out.

-Hours Later-

"Wake up."

I slowly opened my eyes and found myself strapped to a chair. My strength wasn't there yet so I didn't take the opportunity to break free. I looked around and found myself in a cave. I looked up and I see him. I didn't say anything but he asked.

"How do you feel Rin?"

"Not as much as you Madara."

"Oh lucky guess. What gave it away?"

"Maybe that eye of yours."

"Ah good eyes. Though it was my intention for you to see it and Kakashi as well. You two seem so perfect together."

I gave an expression that seemed to give a different answer and he noticed.

"Or I guess arguments may have been made between you two."

From a distance I heard some grunting noises and I look to the noise and it was a person. He got up.

"I'll be right back."

Madara walked away to check on the person while I try to think of a way to escape. Than over from the distance I hear screaming coming from Madara. I looked over to see him get caught on fire by a black flame. I was a bit shock to see what I was witnessing. I ignored it and my strength returned to me. I broke free from the straps and began to leave but I was knocked down as quickly as my escape.

"Where do you think you're going?"

I gave a scared expression and he knocked me out once again. I woke up soon inside a cage and this time I was chained up and I got up to see Madara talking to someone. Then I notice who it was.

"Sasuke!?"

Madara turned around to see me awake.

"Ah you're awake."

"What is he doing here?"

"I'm just about to send him and his team to retrieve the eight tails."

"Wait you're working with him?"

Sasuke made no response and left with his team. Madara answered.

"Yes he is for the time being. After that I have more news to give him once he's done."

I looked over to Madara and once again I look more into his eyes with an angry expression. A voice soon called out inside me.

("Rin I need you to stay calm.")

("Isobu?")

("Yes and what I'm about to say is vital to escaping from here.")

("Alright I am listening.")

("I reconnected our chakra link so you are able to use my power. Also you can turn into the tailed beast form. There you have full control over my body. If you do this than this means I'll be training you to use my power.")

("Alright let's go with that but before that there's something I must ask this guy.")

("Okay but make it quick. This will be our first transformation so it won't be perfect.")

I concentrated on Madara who was beginning to walk towards me then I asked.

"What is your goal?"

"My goal is a secret for the Five Kage."

"So you know about the meeting?"

"Yes and soon my plans will be in full affect once I have the eight tails. Naruto will have to wait but he will be mine soon."

"Than what about me?"

"You, well I must say you're a special person. I won't harm you instead how about you join me?"

"You must be crazy?"

"No but I know that you want a world that is in peace. A world where wars are finished, people thriving in joy, and an end to this hatred that is filled within us."

I stayed silent.

"So how about it?"

"Hell no."

"Hmm alright then I'll be taking the three tails from you. Sorry that it had to come to this…Rin."

His voiced change to something that felt familiar and my eyes went wide and I called out to Isobu to do it. There Madara was pushed back and I turned into Isobu. I open my eyes and I found myself inside his own mind. I can see what he sees and what he feels. I looked up and shot out an enormous blast above us and made a hole in the cave. We jumped out and went to a nearby canal and went under water. I let Isobu takeover so he kept swimming while I sat in his mind yet thinking of what I just heard. Soon though we arrived back at the home where I first started my long training. I turned back into myself and went inside the house. I made myself a meal and got ready for bed. I lay on my old bed that I used and it felt like I never left. I look out to a shining moon brightening my night yet I couldn't sleep well.

-Months Later-

I sat down in my home concentrating on my chakra link. After our first transformation, we had some practice in using the power of the chakra cloaks. It was tuff but I've managed to handle it. We have also try perfecting the tailed beast form but it was difficult for me to concentrate. I still have that incident on my mind and my friends that I have left behind. Though recently when I went out to gather food these white creatures been popping up. Their goal I'm not so sure on it but I have a feeling it has something to do with his plan. So I felt to get my answer I must return to my true home for it. It took a while but I arrived. Yet everything seemed a bit off. The village looked better than it was before. I wore clothes that hid my appearance so no one would realize I am back. I first went back to see if he was home but upon my arrival he wasn't home. Instead a note was left. I read it.

*I read your note and I understand. I hope for the best for you out there but at this point things aren't looking too well. I am being sent out to fight in a battle that I am not sure on how long it will take. Just know that I respect your feelings and I hope you find what you are looking for. Please Rin be safe and I hope you come back to read this.*

I was glad he understood but I was confused on what he said. What fight was he talking about? So I headed off to the hokage's office and I would have thought Danzo has taken over but I've come to learn that Lady Tsunade has return. I knocked on the door and I went in. To her surprise she didn't expect to see me any time soon.

"Rin? It's been awhile. Where did you head off?"

"I was out trying to find something that was needed of me to learn."

"What did you find?"

"Something that still felt a bit unsolved."

"I see."

"But other than that I am glad to see you are doing well."

"Yeah and I'm glad to be back. It's better than Danzo."

"What happen to him?"

"Well I was told that he was killed by Sasuke during the Five Kage summit."

"What?"

"Yeah but it turns out that Danzo had his own plan set out. So it was his downfall."

"Alright but what does Kakashi meant by fighting?"

"You see Madara showed up as well. He explained that his plan is to summon a ten tailed beast and become its Jinchuriki. Than use the ten tails power to put everyone under a genjutsu. A genjutsu that no one has seen or heard of called Infinite Tsukuyomi. But to summon the ten tails he must have the power of all nine tailed beast to do it."

"So that must be what he meant."

"Huh?"

"It's nothing but where is Naruto?"

"He's somewhere safe along with the eight tails. Though I feel that you should go there as well."

"What why?"

"Because I don't want to lose you to this war."

"War?"

"Madara has declared the Fourth Great Ninja War on all the Kages."

I was silent due to what I am hearing. She continued.

"So all the five nations joined together as one force to take part in this war. And it's been pretty chaotic."

I then look down and asked.

"Where is Kakashi?"

"What I last heard he's dealing with ninjas that have been reanimated to take part in this war. As of now though I am leaving soon to meet up with the Kages. Please Rin for your safety go to where Naruto is. I'll have someone escort you to there."

"Alright I'll go."

Tsunade got up and walked pass by me. She opened the door and before she left she told me something else.

"Naruto isn't aware of this war so can you please keep it a secret to him."

I wasn't sure on how to answer that but I just nodded. She left and soon I find myself heading off to a giant turtle. They call the turtle Genbu. Funny because he can almost looks like Isobu.
