Chapter 7- A Battle of Beasts

We continued on moving forward in a forest that seemed endless. Though again I wasn't sure if we knew where we were going. So I asked them if we can stop and take a break. We did and sat down for a bit. There I asked.

"Naruto, do you know where we're going?"

"I'm not sure but for some reason my senses are telling me to keep going this way."

"A Jinchuuriki nose know where to go. I can feel it too, yeah."

"Yeah but do you think our friends are alright?"

"I'm sure of it. My clones just arrived on the fields of battle. We have an upper hand now."

"Oh well that is good."

Though Naruto made a worried look. I caught it.

"Wait there something else isn't there?"

"Yeah to be honest one of my clones is facing a reanimated Madara Uchiha."

This made Bee and I give a confused look.

"If Madara is there then who is this wanna be?"

"I am not sure on that Bee but we won't know till we find out."

Then a wooden coffin suddenly appeared behind us. We are already aware on what is inside but we don't know who.

"Guys be on guard."

Naruto and Bee shook their heads and prepared themselves. The coffin open and who we saw only shocked me the most.

"Hiroshi?"

"Rin? Is it really him?"

"Who's this Hiroshi?"

"He's related to the second hokage and he possess the three tails. And he was my teacher. He taught me how to use the powers of Isobu. I didn't think it was possible to bring him back again."

"Again?"

"Yeah Bee, he was already reanimated when he was training Rin. Though this time it is different."

Hiroshi eyes open and gave no expression upon seeing us.

"Wait is that you Rin?"

"Yes sensei."

"My word am I reanimated once again."

"You are."

"I see and behind you I can sense that is the eight tails Jinchuuriki and Naruto Uzumaki?"

"Hey there Hiroshi."

"You look different."

"Oh well this is my chakra mode with the nine tails."

"You mean you mastered his power and bond?"

"Just the power but still working on the bond part."

"Hmm, understand this Naruto, this power won't last long so you must try your best on what you can use."

"I got you."

"Now, seeing you Rin. I can feel that you and Isobu have fully connected with each other."

"That's right I have."

"Then there's nothing more for me to understand. Though this person controlling me feels otherwise."

Hiroshi made a hand signal and turned into the second state of the chakra cloak. Bones began popping out of the mode and so I begin to do the same. I told Bee and Naruto to leave and they did. I finished transforming and so did Hiroshi. We stood there looking at each other but soon Hiroshi charged towards me and I dodge out of the way. I land a punch to his chest which pushed him back. He then jumped in the air and shot a water cannon towards me. I jumped out of the way but it landed a blow on the back of the shell. I then commanded Isobu to shoot a chakra beam towards him and he did. Though it seemed Hiroshi read my attack and did the same. Our beams of chakra energy hit each other and we're locked together. None of us could break the struggle and it exploded in front of us. I was pushed back a bit but looked over to Hiroshi who then turn into his tailed beast form. I was about to do it as well but Hiroshi hit me with his tail before I have time to turn. I was dazed for a bit then an energy ball brighten the forest around me. I looked over to see Hiroshi getting ready to launch a tailed beast bomb. I quickly transform into my tailed beast form and pushed the bomb with my shell into the air. That's when Isobu contacted me.

("Rin that attack took a big blow on us. If you didn't put enough force on my shell it could have cracked.")

("I know but how long can we keep this up?")

("A few more minutes but I know a sealing jutsu that I can lend you.")

("You know how to do that?")

("When you're inside a person you pick up some new things. Now I'm going to put the sealing mark on your hand. All you have to do is touch him and say release.")

("Alright.")

And so I jumped far to the air and turned back into my human self. I begin diving down towards Hiroshi and he shot an energy beam which I had to maneuver. I dodged it but it still managed to hit my leg. Luckily, I went into the first chakra cloak state. Even in the first state I was surprise my leg didn't have a severe injury. I put my hand out and as soon as I touched Hiroshi's head I said the words.

"RELEASE!"

Then Hiroshi didn't move and I laid back on his head. He soon turned back into his normal self and I fell off of his head. I was a bit too exhausted to land softly but Hiroshi caught me and put me down gently. I got up and see his body ripping apart. He gave a smile.

"Rin, you really have gotten strong. The bond between you and Isobu is something far greater than I can anticipated and hope for. Hurry grab my hand before I am sent back to the after world."

I did so and he gave one last hand signal. There I felt as if my chakra has returned to me.

"What was that?"

"I've returned half of Isobu back into him."

"You mean you gave his full power back?"

"Yes but I don't know if that did bring back his full strength. Many Jinchuriki's have split the tailed beasts in order to survive. Who knows how many times Isobu been split. Though I feel it is for the best to give it back so that no one else tries to use me."

I smiled and gave one last hug to Hiroshi. Soon he was gone and a tear left my eye. I then looked around and realized something.

"Wait which way did Naruto and Bee go?"

-Few minutes later-

After walking around aimlessly no where I come to the conclusion that I am lost. Wished Naruto left a clone behind so I can follow him but I guess this will do.

"You have any idea where they went off?"

("I can't pick up their scent but it would seem their chakra is nearby. Try going left from here.")

"Alright."

I followed Isobu's directions and went off to find them. I am hoping that their okay. Even if I am not there I think taking on the tailed beasts will be a tough fight. As I said that, an explosion went off from a distance and I went straight to that direction.

"Isobu be ready. I have a feeling that we'll be needing the tailed beast form."

("I agree and with a portion of my strength returned, we might have a chance to stop this imposter.")

"Yeah."

Isobu noticed my tone of voice.

("Rin I understand your feelings. But you can't let your emotions take over. It'll distract the real purpose of the fight. If you wish for me to takeover though I am willing to do so for you.")

"I know and thanks for looking out for me. This is my fight to handle and if it comes to it I'll finish it myself."

I landed down and there I see Naruto and Bee fighting off the Jinchuriki's but in front of me was him. I looked him straight in his eyes but what did caught my attention was his other eye. It was the same as Nagato. Then Naruto spoke out.

"Rin be careful! I don't know how but he possesses the Rinnegan!"

"Rinnegan?"

"Yes Rin. I have the power that was once use by the sage of sixth paths. With this I can summon the ten tails and become its Jinchuriki."

"Is this really necessary to do though?"

"Why yes. To ensure a better future for all shinobi, the Infinite Tsukuyomi is the only way."

"If you are who I think you are under that mask then I have no choice but to stop you!"

I charged towards him and sent a punch towards his face. My hand just went through him and my whole body followed. I wasn't sure on what that was but I kept trying to land a hit but again it just went through him. Eventually, one of the Jinchuriki's tried to attack me from above but Naruto grabbed me in time and moved me out of the way.

"It's about time I end this."

The masked man made a hand symbol and the Jinchuuriki's followed with it. A cloud of smoke formed our area and what appeared before us was really incredible but dangerous. What stood before us were the tailed beast forms of the Jinchuuriki's. Instantly Bee and I turned into our forms. There we waited to see who will make the first move. Sure enough it was the masked man. The beasts came towards us. Bee was holding off the two and five tails. I was trying to take down the seventh tailed beast but it kept flying around and dodging Isobu's attacks. Though I was worried for Naruto since he's unable to turn into his beast form. I looked over to him but noticed he was actually holding off the fourth and sixth tailed beast. The fight was getting very intense and soon I sense another Chakra presence coming towards our location.

"Leaf Hurricane!"

It was Guy and he tried to attack the masked man but like before it only went through him. Then straight above lightening started to light the sky.

"Chidori!"

I knew it was him. Again though his attack only went through him. Then I hear Naruto struggling so I looked over to only see him get eaten up by the four tails. I was shock at what I seen and went straight to save him. But the seventh tailed beast pushed me back with its attack. Soon the tailed beast backed off and Bee and I took the time to regain our stamina. Kakashi and Guy retreated towards our location. I looked down at Kakashi and he looked at me.

"Is that you Rin?"

"Yes it is me."

"You have gotten very strong I see. So have I as well."

"Hmm, glad to hear."

The masked man felt annoyed.

"It's very sentimental for a nice reunion but I'll be taking the nine tails."

Before he had a chance to get Naruto out of the four tails. Naruto opened its mouth and was free. He then starts pulling something out of the four tails neck and he got it out. He fell back to our location but it seemed doing that exhausted his chakra mode. The masked man summoned a statue and put the four tails inside it. Then all the remaining tailed beast began to charge up a giant tailed beast bomb. I check in to see if Isobu can summoned a bomb of our own.

("Isobu! Do you have enough strength to do a tailed beast bomb?")

("Currently I don't have the chakra to handle a bomb size like that. The same goes for Bee.")

("Damn.")

Then I overheard Kakashi talking to Guy.

"I'm going to use the Kamui."

"Kakashi are you serious? Something of that size won't work well for the Kamui."

"I agree with Guy. Kakashi don't try to risk it."

"It's our only option."

"Then why don't I open the 8th gate?"

"No it'll kill you."

During our talk the tailed beast fired the bomb. We all brace for the impact but a bright flash hit and the bomb was sent off to the distant. Then a light shined the darkness around us and for a second Kakashi and I said the same thing on who we saw.

"Sensei!?"

Though soon the light turned into the village hero.

"Naruto!?"

Then Isobu spoke out to me.

("It would seem that Kurama finally agreed to help. Naruto and Kurama are synced together. Though since it is their first time. It won't be perfect. We should rest for now till my power is restored.")

("Wow it's amazing. Alright I'll let you be.")

I turned back into my normal self and Kakashi walked over to me.

"Rin are you alright?"

"Yeah I am fine. Isobu needs to recover his chakra for a moment. Though I think Naruto is doing just fine."

Watching Naruto and Kurama fight off all the tailed beast was outstanding. This went on for a while but soon they were beaten. They turned back into their human forms. It would seem that we now have an advantage. Naruto though ran out of time in his beast form. The masked man called back the tailed beast within the Jinchuriki's. Then their bodies began to break apart and I realized something.

"Wait they were reanimated?"

"Yes Rin. Glad that you caught on to that. The seal of the reanimation jutsu was called off. So all that's left to end the war is just me."

"Alright then it's about time to see who's underneath that mask."

"What do you mean Naruto?"

"That guy isn't Madara. One of my clones faced a reanimated version of him. So underneath it's someone else and I am intrigue to know who it is."

Kakashi became curious by that yet for me, I know exactly who it is. I was too afraid to mention it to anyone but I have to confront him. So I begin walking up to the masked man. Kakashi called out.

"Rin! What are you doing?"

I ignore him and kept going. The masked man was amused.

"Ah so now you realized that there is no chance. Come Rin and join me. There we can lead a better world together."

"Maybe you are right about that. But you are corrupted by words of a dead person. I know you are not Madara."

I was standing face to face to him. I put my hands on his mask and he did nothing.

"Yet I know that it is you…Obito."

I remove the mask and I was right. Kakashi and the others gave a shock expression. Obito gave a gentle smile.

"Hello Rin."

"Obito…Why?"

"Because Kakashi failed to protect you. He broke his promise. You may be back but that doesn't still change how I feel towards this world or him."

"Then the monster that went on a rampage on the ninjas. That was you wasn't it?"

"Yes and they deserved it. You know what they did to you."

Tears were falling down my eyes.

"I didn't want to believe it at first. Yet after our first confrontation I knew I had to deal with it. So now I am here to end it!"

I pulled out a kunai and tried to stab Obito but I only went through him. Obito didn't make any expression of what I did.

"Yes, you and the others are here to finish everything. Kill me if you have to. My mind is made up."

"And Tnfinite Tsukuyomi will finally be put into place."

Another voice called out and we looked over. It was the real Madara but he was still reanimated.

"How is that possible? The reanimation jutsu was release."

"Sorry Naruto of the nine tails but I know my ways. Too bad for the five Kage's. They were powerful yet so weak."

Naruto made an angry expression. Madara landed next to Obito and slowly clap.

"Well done Obito. You have done well to follow my instructions. I may not be revived but our plan can continue."

"Of course but first let me take care of her."

Obito's eye changed and it was the same as Kakashi's Kamui. Then everything started to turn in front of me and Kakashi yelled out.

"Rin!"

I didn't have time to react and the next thing I know I found myself in a different world. This place I am in feels cold and mysterious. I looked around my area but there seems to be no exit.

"Where am I?"

"You're in a world that was created with my Kamui."

A gust of wind hit my area and what appeared before me was Obito himself.

"Why did you put me in here!?'

"It's because I don't want to hurt you. I still see you so special to me, Rin. The day we first met I wanted to impress you. I wanted to show you how strong I will get and that in the future we can be together."

"Be together? Obito…I don't know if this is even you that's talking. You are starting to scare me. You already know what will happen if you remove Isobu from me right?"

"Yes I am aware which is why we already acquire your three tails power. The same goes for the nine and eight tails."

"What? How?"

"We found a vessel of the three tails within another person. So I took that power instead. As for the others we extracted the chakra of the nine and eight tails from other means. Even if it's not complete that ten tails as we speak is being summoned."

"No that's crazy."

"I'm sorry that it came to this. Once everything is done I'll pull you out."

I begin to cry and Obito tried to put his hand on my shoulder but I slapped it away.

"Don't touch me! I rather stay here then to be put in a world of your image."

I looked away from him with tears still falling from my eyes. Obito didn't say anything. A gust of wind started to blow again which meant that Obito was leaving. Before he left he said one last thing.

"I love you, Rin."

And he was gone.

"I…hate…you."

I sat down holding my knees and continued on crying. Does he even care with how I feel? The amount of pain I endured? I hate him so much now yet I want to save him.
