Chapter 10- Infinite Tsukuyomi

I was awaken by a sudden shake on the ground. I look over while still keeping myself on Isobu's tail and saw a giant like flower bloom from the ground. I was confused on what that was then a red light flash an area close to the flower. I can't make up on what is happening over there but then the ground began to shake a couple times.

("Could there be something happening over there?")

Still from the distance I can barely make out on who is fighting. This intense feeling went on for a few minutes and the red flash became enormous. It was like staring at a powerful animal. Then a voice echoed out.

"Night Guy!"

Then rubble began pushing off the ground and soon went up the tree. A gust of wind hit me by. After that things went a bit silent until he landed next to me.

"Naruto!?"

"Hey Rin. How are you holding up?"

"I'm doing alright. Not the first time I was close to death."

"Good to hear. Let me see your hand."

"Oh uh okay."

I put my hand out and Naruto grabbed it. Then he closed his eyes and next thing I know I can feel my body getting a jolt of chakra rushed inside me. Naruto soon let go and said.

"Alright, you can let go of Isobu's tail."

"Are you sure?"

"Trust me."

I did so and I brace for myself to fall but instead I'm still standing. I look at myself then at Naruto. There I notice something didn't feel right about him.

"Naruto…are you okay?"

"I'm not sure yet but I have no time to waste. Guy sensei's chakra is fading. I'll catch up with you soon."

Naruto left and I stood there in shock of what I was witnessing. I decided to head off to the direction that Naruto went to. As I was heading there the giant like flower disappeared which gave me an odd chill. I soon found Naruto confronting a mysterious man floating in the air. Naruto tied up his headband and turn into a form that wasn't familiar to me. Then Sasuke landed next to him and I was shock to see these two together once more. I didn't dare to get close to them knowing I am out of their league. Though I did notice Kakashi and Minato from a distance and so I landed next to them. Kakashi and Minato were in shock to see that I am still alive.

"Rin, how is this possible?"

"I'm not sure Sensei but I think Naruto has found some kind of new power."

"What do you mean?"

"I can't be sure on the details but I know for sure he as well as Sasuke can do it. Though where is Obito?"

"I sent him to the Kamui Dimension."

"Wait you sent him but why?"

"Well first he was being controlled by a mysterious being that attached itself onto him. He was going to use Obito to give Madara the last Rinnegan eye that he needed."

"So that was Madara that I witnessed?"

"Yes and if he gets that eye, he will become powerful enough to start his plan."

"You mean the Infinite Tsukyomi that Tsunade mentioned?"

"Precisely though Obito managed to take control and there we used both our Kamui's to send himself, Naruto, and Sakura to the Kamui Dimension."

"Why Sakura?"

"She was there to keep Naruto alive while Obito implanted Minato's nine tails into Naruto. But they should have been back by now if Naruto is here."

"That's true but do you think that maybe-"

I then cut myself off because I notice Madara heading to our direction. We had no time to react and in an instant he took Kakashi's eye. Madara then put his eye into his own and soon disappeared. Seeing that made me realized that we might get into some trouble. I walked over to Kakashi and began healing his eye. A gust of wind soon blew near us and we saw Sakura exiting out of it. Kakashi called out to her.

"Sakura!?"

She saw us and ran over to us then asked.

"What happen to you, Kakashi?"

"It happened so quickly. Though Madara stole my Sharingan."

"So what does that mean?"

"It means I'm just Kakashi."

Then Naruto and Sasuke came to us to check up on things. Naruto walked over to Kakashi which made Sakura question.

"What are you trying to do, Naruto?"

Naruto kneeled down and pressed his hand on Kakashi's missing eye. Soon he move his hand and said.

"Kakashi Sensei, try opening your eye."

Kakashi did so and his eye was restored. This shocked both Sakura and I but there was no time to be waste because a gust of wind hit our area. What appeared before us was none other than Madara himself and Obito behind him. I saw him and I called out.

"Obito!?"

Instead a different voice spoke out.

"Unfortunately, Obito is gone. He was praying like a child deep inside so that he could leave the future to you all. And to be with you Rin. To sit side by side in your arms. How convenient that would of have been for him, right?"

This made me filled with anger and tears form from my eyes. Then out of nowhere Sakura passed by us charging towards Madara. She spoke out.

"I'll be the diversion. Follow me!"

Both Sasuke and Naruto followed behind. Sakura was stabbed by Madara with a black pole he used. Though it seemed she managed to lay a punch on him while Sasuke and Naruto landed their own hit. They backed off and Naruto removed the pole from Sakura. Naruto check if she was alright but Sasuke didn't make any notice. This made Sakura a bit sad but the fight wasn't over. Though Sakura and I noticed that Sasuke has obtain the Rinnegan on his left eye. Soon Madara flew into the air and summon giant like boulders to fall down on us. Sasuke went into a purple like form and flew up while Naruto summoned his clones to fight an invisible being. I wasn't sure on what's going on but for some reason the moon turned red. I began to question my own surrounding wondering what I am experiencing was even real. Though Sasuke landed next to us and covered us up in his purple chakra form. We were wondering what he was doing. Than a big flash of light lit our area. It was very bright enough to light the night sky. I wasn't sure on what was happening but then big branches formed around our area. These branches soon began to wrap around the Shinobi people including some of Naruto's friends. Naruto was about to go save them but Sasuke stopped and explained.

"Naruto don't. Without this Susano'o that my eye made, you'd get bound up in his genjutsu as well!"

Susano'o is what Sasuke calls this form of his. That answered my question but knowing that this is protecting us from what's happening outside put some relief in me. Though I am still worried on what is happening with the others. Sasuke went on to explain what exactly did Madara do and sure enough he achieved his plan. What we were witnessing was Infinite Tsukuyomi. What is happening to everyone is mostly a dream but in reality it's only a fantasy. Soon the light faded away and Sasuke let his Susano'o go. Madara landed next to us and he gave a speech about his dream of his new world. As much as it seemed nice, we didn't buy any of his crap that he mentioned.

From behind Madara was stabbed by the black creature. This shocked all of us but the creature mention about someone named Kaguya. This made Naruto and Sasuke worry and they try to stop it. But then we noticed the branches holding our friends and allies started to flow out chakra towards Madara. Things then gotten a bit weird because Madara wasn't acting right. Sasuke and Naruto tried to stop it but were eventually too late. Soon a different being appeared before us but I couldn't help but notice Obito's body falling to the ground. I rushed over to check on him while also checking to see if this being will attack us. Instead it was locking eyes on Naruto and Sasuke. I check to see if Obito was alive and he was but mostly unconscious. So I picked him up and headed back to Kakashi. I lay him down and sat down next to him. I stared at Obito and a few tears fell down. Kakashi put his hand on my shoulder and I looked up at him. Even with his mask I can tell he's happy that the three of us are together once again.

I looked over to the being before us and she explained about herself and her name. It would seem she was Kaguya that Naruto and Sasuke were worried about. Though in an instant we were transported to a different world. All of us began to fall and below us was a pit of lava. Sasuke summoned a bird and grabbed Naruto. Kakashi used a kunai and scroll to connect himself on the wall while also holding Sakura. I did the same and grabbed hold of Obito. We watched as Naruto and Sasuke got themselves together and one of Naruto's clones came to our rescue. It seemed Naruto is able to float in the air so he carried us with his chakra cloak arms. I looked over to see both Sasuke and Naruto are cover in a black shadow but soon broke off from it. Then a black flame covered Kaguya and it seemed they were getting ready to make their move. Naruto went forward and whites cloud filled their surroundings. The next thing I witness was an unfamiliar jutsu and a distracting one. In front of us were multiple men which distracted my eyes. I couldn't quite explain what I am seeing and this made me explode and pass out.

A voice called out to me.

"Rin."

I open my eyes to a familiar face.

"Obito?"

"Yes Rin it is me."

I smiled and hugged him deep. He hugged me back. I then soon looked around our area and we were somewhere else. It still felt a bit odd but I ignored it.

"Obito, are you really back to normal?"

"Of course I am. You don't need to worry too much."

We got up and I notice Sakura here as well. So I asked.

"What happen Sakura?"

"Well after Naruto did that weird jutsu, Kaguya sent us to a different dimension. At first we were in some ice dimension but now we are here. Last thing I remember is that Sasuke was sent off somewhere else while Naruto is fighting off Kaguya. Though Obito has a plan to bring him back into the fight."

"Really? How, Obito?"

"Since I have both of my Kamui, I am gonna use them to open a portal to one of the dimensions Sasuke's currently in."

"How would you know which one it is?"

"I'll just have to be lucky."

"But what about your chakra? Will it be enough?"

"Sakura will keep me in check don't worry. Just believe in me. The real Obito."

"Alright."

And so Obito went to his knees and began using the Kamui. It took a lot of his strength but he soon opened one. Though looking inside it seems that it's not what we are looking for. We tried it again and once again no luck. Obito gave one last go at it and there we saw him. Sakura called out to him and he seem to notice us. Sasuke started running to our direction but the portal soon began to close. I looked over to Obito who was then struggling to keep it open. Sakura put in as much of an effort to keep Obito from losing focus but was too late. The portal closed and we thought we lost our chance to saving him. Sakura fell back but he grabbed hold of her. He manage to make it in time it would seem. Obito then asked for us to put our hands on him. We did and he transferred us to the icy dimension Naruto was in. It was a bit chilly for me but I withstood it. I notice Kakashi and called out to him. We came to us while Sasuke joined up with Naruto.

"Rin, are you doing alright?"

"Yeah thanks for asking."

"How did you guys get here?"

"I used my Kamui to transport us."

Kakashi seemed to notice the blood trail on Obito's face but he gave a pat on his shoulder.

"Glad to have you back partner."

Obito smiled and I wrapped my arms around their necks and said.

"Team Minato are together once again."

Obito blushed a bit and Kakashi smiled. Though once again our area was changed and a huge force of gravity pushed us down. We were struggling to get up by the intense pressure.

"What is going on?"

"It would seem Kaguya sent us somewhere else. Look over there!"

Sakura pointed out that Naruto and Sasuke including Kaguya are hit by the force as well. It would seem Kaguya isn't used to this area. Though she is able to lift her arms out and shot a bone like pole towards them. They managed to dodge it but she readied another one. Kakashi and Obito realized the trouble they were in and managed to go over to them. I know what they were up too and I couldn't let it happen. So I manage to get myself up and walked over to them. They got in front of them but I notice one of the poles disappearing. Obito was going sacrifice himself. I couldn't let it happen and so I step in front of him and was hit by it. The gravity seem to disappear and Obito looked at me in shock.

"Rin, why?"

I looked at him and said.

"Turn around silly."

He did and notice myself making a hand symbol. I manage to make a shadow clone appear in front of him to prevent his death. I fell to a knee and he walked over to me.

"You really got me there."

"Well…I am full of surprises."

I lean forward and kissed Obito's lips. He was stunned for a moment and kissed me back. Then a voice called out to us.

"You humans are mysterious to mother. Even though she lived among them. But now things are going to be different."

Kaguya transferred us to a place we were once at before. The black creature began telling Naruto and us that everything is useless. Though it didn't matter and so Naruto cut him off from Kaguya. The fight went on against Kaguya and it would seem we got an advantage. But Kaguya started acting strange and soon a giant beast appeared before us. Behind it were the faces of the tailed beasts. I saw Isobu and I called out to him.

"Isobu!"

No response came and I was worried. Then the beast turn its head towards us and sent one of its hand at us. Naruto yelled out.

"Don't let it touch you guys! It will evaporate your own body!"

Obito and I managed to get out of the way but Kakashi and Sakura were not able to move in time.

"Kakashi! Sakura!"

I called out to them not before they were picked up by a blue hand. I was caught off guard by it and soon I was enveloped inside a blue aura. Then I looked to my right to see that Obito has activated his own Susano'o. Obito then said.

"Rin…Kakashi…I now have what it takes to protect you both."
