A/N: I'm binge watching DragonBall and thought I would make a fun PREQUEL fanfiction to one of the favorite stories I wrote The Last Diary Entry of Bulma Briefs. You don't have to read the Last Diary Entry of Bulma Briefs to read this fic, but it is encouraged. Also, keep in mind I'm trying to capture the essence of teenage Bulma, so the writing may come off as a bit juvenile. I'm doing my best to get into her headspace and think about what she would write about. Let me know what you think in the review section.
Chapter 1: April
Age 749, April 6th
Well I started High School today. And for our first assignment we were 'strongly encouraged' to start a diary to help capture these 'wonderful times' as Mrs. Tsuru put it. She's my homeroom teacher and has already proclaimed to be a voice for us as we navigate through this pivotal saga in our lives. She's maybe a bit overzealous but she means well. And I guess it could be worse. Now that I think about it, I hope she doesn't check these. Note to self: Ask tomorrow if she checks these.
First impressions – High School in West City is big. And there are so many cute boys. Oh my gosh, I can't believe I just wrote that. Seriously, I gotta ask if she checks these. But maybe I will finally find a boyfriend. All the guys from last year were either gross or not interested in me. I don't get it; I mean I'm pretty. Maybe I'm too pretty for them and they were just intimidated by me. Yeah, that's it. You got this Bulma. It's a new school year, and a new school.

Ok. She doesn't check these… whew.

One week of High School is done and it's so… boring. I get that everyone comes in at different levels, but I was hoping for a little bit more of a challenge. I mean Algebra? Really?! I was doing that when I was 7. And don't even get me started on the science courses they offer. Or should I say don't offer. Where is the mechanical engineering course or the quantum physics course? Sigh, oh well, at least I can work on projects at home with dad, even if he does get annoying with his puns. Newsflash dad, nobody cares!
I'm hopeful that these projects at Capsule Corp will keep me busy until school livens up a bit. One of the things I want to work on is building my own motorcycle. None of the ones on the market have a turbo boost, so I want to incorporate one that does so I can speed along the country-side with ease. Not that I ever really travel outside the city, but it would be nice to have the option.
In other school news, still no boyfriend. Many of the guys here are already dating or just not my type. I'm beginning to think I'll never find someone. Ughhhh, I guess now is as good of a time as any to start on that motorcycle.

Motorcycle is done, although I don't have anywhere to take it. School continues to be boring and none of the guys in my classes want to go out on a date with me. Why is my life so hard? It's not fair!
I guess I should do my assignment. Mrs. Tsuru asked that we interview our parents and ask them why they chose the profession they are in. I'll update tomorrow.

Following on the assignment, when I asked mom why she chose to be a housewife she just giggled and told me she just kinda fell into it. Dad was already making so much money with his company booming, and he would always have business people over, that being a homemaker just sort of happened naturally. Plus, it gave her time to watch after all the pets her and dad seem to collect. After telling me all this she then she offered me some tea and cookies. I swear if I didn't know any better, I'd say she was a robot dad created. Speaking of which, when I asked dad the same question "How he chose to be a scientist and inventor" he provided a more rational response. He said he always enjoyed tinkering with things as a child and grew up inventing random things to help him in his everyday life. After getting his doctorate in physical science he invented the Hoi-Poi Capsules and founded the Capsule Corporation. Or did he establish Capsule Corp and then invent the Capsule? Whatever. Anyway, with seemingly unlimited money coming in from his invention, he had the time and resources to indulge in his favorite hobby; more inventing. Well his second favorite hobby. It's common knowledge that he likes to collect dirty magazines. Ugh, gross dad! I'll make sure to leave that detail out of my assignment.
