It was a beautiful morning in the Bugdom city.
The circus bugs, and the parenting Manny and Gypsy took Ramona, and Rosie and Dim took Gina to Ant Island for a girls' performance.
King Flik, Queen Atta , Princess Dot and Princess Flika smiles as she spots her cousins running to her. The three girls were embracing each other. The circus bugs and the ants greeted each other kindly.
"So, Flik, my boy, how are your inventions going?" Manny asked.
"Oh, it went great. Still working on a bunch of more," Flik responded.
"We're here for circus performances from our daughter," Gypsy added with a smile, holding her mate's hand.
"And ours, too," Rosie agreed.
Dim lets out a chuckle in an agreement.
Gina and Ramona giggled to each other.
"That's nice to hear that!" Atta said.
As the rulers gathered the colony outside the tent and the other circus bugs inside, P.T Flea announced to the performers,
"All right, yahoos! Since you got a day off, we're gonna show the ants the performance by the children!"
"You better promise while we are performing, you should NOT smack our daughter like that," Rosie agreed and said sternly to her boss.
Dim nodded in a small frown. P.T nodded, and told the girls,
"Anyway, girls, start your performances."
"I'll go first!" Ramona said, and then went to the ant audience.
Flik, Atta, Dot and Flika were delighted to see her cousins perform.
Ramona opened her wings and flew with a smile. Then she lands down. The ants watched in awe. Ramona turns back and reveals her wings. The audience gasped.
"Wow! Cool wings!" Flik said in gape.
"Indeed!" Atta agreed.
"Flika already told me about it,"
"Oh, how amazing!" Flika cried happily.
Manny and Gypsy were proud, and hugged Ramona.
"That was amazing! They love your wings," Gypsy said delightfully.
"Well-played, my dear Ramona," Manny agreed with a smile.
"Thanks, mom and dad!" Ramona replied cheerfully.
"All right, Gina, your turn!" P.T announced after he gave Ramona a well-done.
Gina shook nervously. Rosie reassured her, saying,
"It's okay, Gina. We taught you our abilities, remember?"
Gina nodded, and Dim nuzzled her lovingly,
"You got this! We believe in you," Dim said with a smile.
"Okay, mom and dad," Gina responded, and hugged her parents.
Breaking their hug for a moment, Gina climbed over the pole, close from the ceiling. She took a deep breath, and jumped from the pole, shooting her spider web, making an angle. The audience felt awed, including the circus bugs.
Gina finished her spider web, and took a deep breath, as ferociousness rose inside her. She lets out a loud roar, voiced like a lion cub.
The audience and circus bugs went,
"Ooh!"
Except for Tuck and Roll, who screamed at the top of their lungs, holding each other.
"Whoa, that was absolutely ferocious!" P.T marvelled.
Gina giggled, and felt her parents hug her.
Just then, a voice said,
"Hey! Shy beetle!"
Dim turned. It was the rude insect bullies. One of them said,
"Hey, shy beetle, give us your kid, and we will babysit her."
Dim shook his head sternly. Rosie did the same as she reassured her daughter.
"I said, gimme your daughter!" the bully insect insisted angrily.
There was no response. The rest of bully insects let out a yell, and start throwing stuff. Dim felt frightened, including all the circus bugs.
"We need to protect this family! Flik, now!" Rosie insisted.
"Right," Flik agreed, and took Atta and Dot, including Flika, as if to help Rosie and Dim stop the bullies, just like the other circus bugs are doing.
As the bully insects kept throwing rocks, the other rock hits Gina's face with a BAM!
Feeling the pain, Gina tears up and starts crying. Dim reacted, and reassured her. Rosie did the same. The circus bugs defended her, including Ramona, her parents, Flika and her family.
Dim starts growling at the bullies who now felt shocked. He charged at them, and lets out a loud roar, voiced like a T-Rex. The insect bullies panicked and screamed.
"You've got some nerve for hurting Gina like that," Atta said sternly to the bullies.
Rosie nodded her head while holding Gina. Flika, Ramona and the others did the same.
"You leave my niece alone! How would you like that if bugs are throwing stuff at you?" Flik scolded.
Dim shoved the bullies, kicking them with his feet.
"You better leave now, leave my daughter alone," Dim said between snarls.
He bared his teeth, as if to roar at the bullies again.
The bullies scurried out as they panicked. Dim sighed, and heard Gina whimpering in pain. He scuttled to her and nuzzled her with an reassuring method.
"Such a bad behavior!" Gypsy said sternly.
"Indeed, my love. What a group of ingrates," Manny agreed.
"Terrible than Hopper and Maula!" Ramona agreed, saying the names Flik told in the story to her, Gina and Flika.
"We will always protect our little cousin, no matter what," Flika said.
The others agreed. Rosie told Dim,
"Thanks for protecting our baby, Dim."
Dim sternly nodded to Rosie with compassion, and responded,
"Indeed at all, Rosie. These bullies will pay for what they had done to Gina, just like when they did that kind of stuff to me."
Time passed, since it is night time. The ants and the circus bugs bid each other goodbye, and went to their homes, tucked in; asleep. Gina was thankfully defended by her parents, other family members, and her cousins, after all. When Gina was placed on her bedside, asleep, Kevin, the cat mealybug, was purring while nuzzling her, in his sleep. Dim and Rosie bid their daughter goodnight, giving a kiss.
Then, the two went in their bed. Dim was asleep, snoring softly, with his foot on Rosie's abdomen. Rosie was also asleep, moaning softly, rubbing Dim's foot.
