Once upon a time, there was a baker's daughter and a rich boy. The baker's daughter's name is Marinette dupain-cheng and the rich boy's name was Adrien agreste. One day, Adrien's mother went to the bakery to place an order for croissants and macaroons for her son. Marinette was playing in the bakery. Adrien came in with his mother.
He spotted the young girl as the young girl spotted him. They were four at that time. They started to play together while Marinette's parents helped Adrien's mother. "What's your name?" Adrien asked.
"Ma-Mar-Mari-Marinette." Marinette said, struggling to pronounce her name.
"I'm Adrien. Adrien Agreste." Adrien didn't have many friends. He went to a private preschool. Not a lot of children go there and not a lot of them want to be his friend."Do you think we can be friends?" Adrien asked the girl.
Marinette smiled. " yes."
5 years later.
Five years later they are 9 years old. They went to the same Elementary School and they were best friends. They went to each other's house everyday.
Gabriel was reluctant with the idea but allowed it. Gabriel noticed that Marinette was good for his son and allowed them to be friends as he was always working and wanted what was best for Adrien. Marinette and Adrien spent every day together. Gabriel made a special request for them to be in each other's class every year. They played video games together and they couldn't have been more close. Some could even say that they were brother and sister.
4 years later
Four years later, Emilie Agreste died. Gabriel became a cold man and took his son out of school and forbade him to ever see Marinette ever again. It pained him to do so but for some reason he felt it was what was best for his son. Even though he knew that Marinette was good for his son, he did it anyway. Adrien and Marinette said their final goodbyes. Tears were shed and they cried as if they never were going to see each other ever again. Then, that night, something happened.
This never happened before. There were rumors of magic to help people find their soulmates but it was never actually confirmed. Marinette and Adrien didn't really believe in magic but this changed their minds. Something went into Adrien and Marinette's eyes at night. One of Adrien's eyes turns blue the same color as Marinette. The same shade of blue bell. Adrien's father ordered him to go see a doctor. Unusual but nothing wrong. Marinette however, one of her eyes turned green, the same emerald as Adrian. Didn't really care as Marinette's Mom and Dad saw it as a wonderful tried to hide it and photoshop his eyes to both be green in magazines. Marinette was bullied by Chloe by her eyes and Alya, her best friend and the new girl at school, always stood up for her and helped her see that it was a beautiful and unique feature.
Days turned into weeks and weeks turned in the months, and months, turned into years.
Marinette inherited her parents bakery as her parents decided to retire.
Adrien's father soon died. Adrian inherited his father's company. Marinette never became a fashion designer even though she loves designing, she loves baking even more. She was glad to be stuck with baking as a perfection.
One day Marinette was reading when a blonde boy with one emerald eye and one blue bell eye came into the Dupain-Cheng bakery. Mari looked up from the book she was reading.
"Wel-" she lost the last part of the word as she locked the boy. She noticed something that no one else had with Adrian's special feature. There was a pink dust in his iris. Marinette " come." She finished.
Adrien felt a certain familiarity about the girl. ""Marinette?" Adrien asked. Since they were separated at such an old age she remembered him but his eyes were different. "Is that really you?"
"Yeah it's me. Oh my God I never thought I'd see you again." Tears stung Mari''s eyes. Adrien''s vision was blurred by the tears threatening to fall.
"One of your eyes is green." He noted. Adrien finally noticed the green dust making it seem that it was glowing. "And there is some sort of green dust in it."
"No one ever noticed the dust. One of your eyes are blue just like my left one. And there is pink dust in it." Everything was slow as Marinette walked around the counter and Adrien took a step closer. They were so close they could feel each other's breath. "I don't think this is a coincidence." Mari said.
"Neither do I." They hugged each other closely.
"I missed you so much." Marinette said, the tears finally falling from her eyes.
"I missed you too Marinette. It wasn't the same without you." They felt something more than friendship between them. They fell in love. Marinette broke from her hug with Adrien. She stared into the blonde boys two beautiful different colored eyes. Adrien stared at the young raven haired girl with her hair down and falling below her shoulders. They leaned in close and kissed.
Years later they got married and had a kid. They were reluctant to bring a kid into their battle. Mari just wanted a single kid just so then she knew what it felt like to be a mother. These akuma's are dangerous and she never knew when will be her last day the last battle with her husband.
Adrian always thought the same thing because he always put himself on harms way. He loves Marinette with all his heart and soul. He loved his baby girl just as much.
They couldn't wait until their baby found her soulmate.
