"Alright, show your card to the person next to you but don't say it out loud." A young girl with purple hair told the man, her ice-blue eyes sparkling with amusement. The man did as he was told as he showed the playing card to the man next to him.

"Now we still have a deal right, kind gentlemen?" She asked to confirm.

"Yea, you guess my card correctly and I give you $20. If you don't, I get $20." He replied thinking that the dumb teen could never guess the card. This was some of the easiest money he can make.

"Good. Now think about your card, picture it in your head. Are you ready?" she asked and he nodded. Her ice-blue eyes flickered up next to the man's shoulder then back at him.
"Your card is….. The 7 of spades." She declared.
The man was gobsmacked, his mouth dropped open in shock. "How the hell did you get that right?!" He exclaimed. Quickly his shock turned into anger. "You just got lucky. Double or nothing!"

"Are you sure about that sir?" She asked, a smirk tugging at the edge of her lips.

"Yes, I'm sure! You either got lucky or cheated. I'm gonna get my money back!" He declared in confident anger.

"Ok. Double or nothing it is." she agreed. "I'll even let a random person check and shuffle the deck to assure you that I am not cheating."

The man nodded and picked a random lady exiting a clothing store and asked her to check and shuffle the deck. Bewildered, the lady agreed, checked and shuffled the deck then handed the deck back to the girl.

"Thank you for your help." The girl dipped her head in thanks to the lady as she walked away then turned back to the man and asked him to pick a card from anywhere in the deck. He quickly picked a random card from somewhere in the middle of the deck. He showed it to another man who was standing next to him then quickly laid it flat in his hand to not reveal it to anyone else.

The edges of the girl's mouth curved up into a grin. "Your card is ….. The Ace of hearts."

The man threw the card to the ground in a fit of rage. When the card hit the ground, it was revealed that it was what she had called.

"You cheated! You had to!" he raged as he charged toward the young lady, fist raised. Watching bystanders gasped in horror and a few reached out to try futility to stop the raging man while the girl just stared in amusement.

When he was close enough to try to punch her, she grabbed his fist and used his momentum to toss him over her shoulder and into a trash can behind them, butt first. As the man was disoriented, she walked over and plucked his wallet out of his jacket. Opening it, she pulled out $40 and tossed the wallet on top of the groggy man then turned and gathered up her tin that was full of change and bills.

"Thank you for your contributions!" She called out to the crowd. "The name is Rogue and I hope to see you again!"

A large puff of smoke erupted and once it cleared away, everyone gasped to see that Rogue had disappeared.

As the crowd looked around in amazement, said girl snickered as she stood atop a horizontal flag pole above where she had been.

'They never seem to look up, do they Loki?' she thought as she looked next to her, a faint, see-through humanoid creature floated there. The creature smiled at her then faded out of sight again. Rogue chuckled as she jumped to grab the ledge of the building and used it to catapult herself to the top of the building then raced across the rooftops.

Rogue whistled as she walked down the street, ignoring the looks she got from the boys.

The 15-year-old girl knew they were staring, but all they could see was her looks. At 6 foot even and weighing in at 152, she was pretty slim because she kept in shape by practicing martial arts. Her purple hair that would fall to about mid-back was pulled up in a ponytail and she wore an olive green blouse with a mid-waist black jacket that just fell below her breasts. Her long legs that made up most of her height were clad in form-fitting dark blue jeans with mid-leg black tie-up boots on her feet. All in all, she knew that the boys considered her what they called a 'bombshell', but she hated it.

All the shallow boys just wanted her to be a trophy girl for them to hang on their arms. If they weren't that shallow, then they were not comfortable dating a girl taller than them and that was able to kick their butts. All she wanted was a man who could respect her, with a strong sense of justice, and a take no shit attitude. But alas, that was near impossible to find in New York in 2012.

But then a voice caught her attention. "Hey Rogue. Ya done with today's show?"

Rogue glanced further up the street where she spotted a familiar person and smiled.

"Hey, Logan. Yea, done with today's show and was heading toward the dojo." She replied.

Glancing downward, she commented, " Just finished this week's grocery shopping?"

He nodded and Rogue held out her hands to take half the load. "I'll pay you my half when we get home." She told the man. He sighed and shook his head but knew better than to try to talk her out of it.

Logan was in his late 20's and a relatively nice man unless you pissed him off, then he would show you why he owned a martial arts dojo. He was 6 foot 3 with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

He found Rogue when she was 7 on the streets when she had pickpocketed him and he caught her. But he did not call the police or drop her off at an orphanage. Instead, he took her home, gave her a hot shower and food. Within days, she became his foster kid. It was almost a year later that Rogue trusted him enough to tell him of her past and what she could do.

Not feeling comfortable with feeling that she owed him, she turned back to pickpocketing to try to pay back what he spent on her. Upon learning what she was doing and why, Logan enrolled her in magic classes to put her skills into much better use. Now Rogue was considered the best street magician in New York City.

Once she was healthy and put on some weight, he enrolled her in his dojo to learn self-defense and how to protect herself and others. She was his top student and often helped with his younger classes.

But it wasn't until she was 14 that they found another common like between.

Anime.

They both loved watching it and reading manga. Right now they were finishing up the 2nd series of JoJo's Bizarre Adventures and Rogue was in love with it. Following Jonathan Joestar, then his grandson, Joseph Joestar in the evening was her favorite part of the day. Once dinner was eaten and cleaned up, they both settled in the living room of their small 2 bedrooms home and turned on the computer and connected it to their tv, and played the next episode. She cried when Jonathan and Caesar died and cheered when Joseph made his reappearance with his new wife.

It was her interest in reading manga and watching anime that sparked a new hobby. Languages. It started just learning Japanese just for fun. She quickly learned that she had a talent for languages. Currently, she knows Japanese, German, French, Spanish, and Italian.

But since it was a Saturday, they had karate lessons till late so they would have to wait till tomorrow to watch the new series.

As they approached their home, Rogue got a feeling of someone watching them. She turned to look behind them but saw no one so dismissed it as nothing. As she entered the house, she did not see the shadow that retreated into a nearby alley.

The next day, as Rogue strolled down the street, she counted out today's earnings. She hit up 4 different areas to extend out more and did pretty well. Made $62 altogether and didn't get in any fights with unhappy people today.

With a grin, she pocketed the money and glanced at her watch.

Almost 5:30. Just enough time to get home, help with dinner, clean up and start the 3rd series of JoJo!

With that thought, she sped up her walking, eager to get home, not noticing the eyes that followed her.

It was not long before she reached her home and raced inside to smell freshly baked pizza.

"Is that pizza I smell?" She called out.

Logan poked his head out of the kitchen with a smile. "Yea. Thought to get something easy to eat before we start the newest series of JoJo. Pepperoni for me and your weird pizza for you." he joked.

Rogue stuck her tongue out at him. "Hey, mushroom, pineapple, ham, and bacon is good. Your taste buds are just broke."

Logan laughed as he popped back into the kitchen to pull out the pizzas. "Get the plates down and set the table please." He called after a minute.

Rogue bounded into the kitchen and grabbed the plates and napkins to set the table. Next, she went to the fridge, got out 2 cans of Dr. Pepper, and set them on the table just as Logan was bringing in the pizza.

As they set down to eat, Rogue got an uneasy feeling and glanced out the window. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary but a dog sitting across the street, she shook it off and turned back to her plate.

Soon they finished eating and finished cleaning up and putting everything away, it was getting dark.

Logan went to set everything up as Rogue went and got her Speedwagon checkered hat plush pillow. Grabbing it, she quickly rushed back to the living room to claim her seat and read the summary as Logan went to make some popcorn.

'Years after an ancient evil was salvaged from the depths of the sea, Jotaro Kujo sits peacefully within a Japanese jail cell. He's committed no crime yet demands he not be released, believing he's been possessed by an evil spirit capable of harming those around him. Concerned for her son, Holly Kujo asks her father, Joseph Joestar, to convince Jotaro to leave the prison. Joseph informs his grandson that the "evil spirit" is, in fact, something called a "Stand," the physical manifestation of one's fighting spirit which can adopt a variety of deadly forms. After a fiery brawl with Joseph's friend Mohammed Avdol, Jotaro is forced out of his cell and begins learning how to control the power of his Stand.
However, when a Stand awakens within Holly and threatens to consume her in 50 days, Jotaro, his grandfather, and their allies must seek out and destroy the immortal vampire responsible for her condition. They must travel halfway across the world to Cairo, Egypt and along the way, do battle with ferocious Stand users set on thwarting them. If Jotaro and his allies fail in their mission, humanity is destined for a grim fate.'

Rogue shivered in excitement. The 3rd series sounded super good! She had looked up an overview with no spoilers of the main characters the day before to figure out who was who right off the bat. Soon Logan re-entered the room, bowl in hand, and sat down.

Once they were set up and got comfortable they clicked play and sat back.

But as it was just as the scene was fading in, the power went out.

"What the hell?" Logan uttered. Rogue glanced out the window to see that the next-door neighbors' lights were just fine. "Logan I think it's just us." She called.

Logan nodded and got up. "I'm gonna check the breaker." he told her. He was almost out of the room when the front door busted open and 4 black-clad men with black masks and guns ran into the room. Catching Logan and Rogue off guard, the one in front leading them all hit Logan with the butt of his gun.

"Logan!" Rogue screamed. What was going on?

They dragged him into the living room and threw him next to her.

The one in front turned to the other 3 and told them to loot the house for all the money and any valuables. As they wandered off, he turned back to them, aimed his gun at them, and demanded their wallets. By then, Logan was starting to come back but was groggy as he sat up. 'Concussion?" Wondered Rogue.

"I said give me your wallets!" The man demanded again.

Logan pointed to the desk on the other side of the room, where they kept their wallets and keys.

One of the men was close by, opened the drawer, and pulled out Logan's wallet and Rogue's box of money. Once all the money was pulled out, the one who was watching them gave a cruel laugh and pulled the trigger.

A muffled pop rang out as Logan jerked and fell back as Rogue screamed in fear for Logan.

She scrambled to stop the copious amounts of blood that was seeping out of his chest. Logan groaned and coughed up a glob of blood that splattered on his face.

"No, no, no! Please, please, hold on Logan!" Rogue pleaded. Hazel eyes flickered upwards to stare into tear-filled ice blue ones as the owner gave her a small smile and reached up to lay his hand upon hers as she tried to stop the bleeding.

"Run…. I love you, my daughter, but run..." Logan whispered in a thick, scratchy voice.

His eyes stared into hers as the light slowly left them and they drifted shut. His hand that covered her own in comfort fell beside him and hit the floor in a final thud that seemed to echo in Rogue ears. She trembled and withdrew her hands to stare at the blood that coated them.

'Logan…..' she thought as she trembled. He was dead. Her caretaker- no, dad was gone.

"Run… I love you, my daughter, but run..."

She glanced up at the men to see that they were all pushing the money and valuables into a black duffle bag. She scrambled for the door in a desperate attempt to escape but the men were closer to her than she was to the door and grabbed her.

One of the men pulled her arms behind her back and faced her to the man who shot Logan. He laughed and pulled up his mask off his face to look her in the eyes.

"Well, you little bitch. Let's see you magic your way out of this."

Once some light hit his face, Rogue's eyes widened in shock.

It was the man she won the $40 from the other day.

"Why?" she asked.

The man sneered as he answered her. "You humiliated me and took my money. That's enough in my book."

He looked at the rest of the men and nodded. "We got the money. You can do whatever you want to her but make sure she's dead by the end of the hour."

The men cackled as Rogue paled in horror. She twisted and fought as they groped her. Suddenly a flash of red and blue shone out as sirens wailed out.

"Shit, it's the cops!" One of the men called as he threw Rogue to the ground and she quickly scrambled to her feet.

A rush of relief rose in Rogue's chest for a moment as the red and blue lights lit up the walls but was crushed as she saw the gun pointed at her and a muffled shot rang out once again.

Rogue stumbled, then fell back from the impact to her chest and hit the floor next to Logan. She felt a brief shock of pain before numbness filled her. Her blue eyes gazed upon the still form of her dad and she slowly reached her hand over to take his hand in hers.

Faintly, she could hear the sound of footsteps around her but they sounded far away. Hands pressed upon her chest as more and more of her lifeblood streamed out of her body. Suddenly, she was lifted up and away from Logan.

She gave a weak cry as she could no longer see him and was pushed out of the house on a gurney. Soon the world started to blur.

Not much-made sense to the 15-year-old girl as she stared blankly at the man in the dark blue uniform as he tried to stop the bleeding girl in the ambulance.

"Come on, stay with me. Don't give up!" He called to her. He turned to look to the front of the vehicle. "She's losing too much blood!"

"We're almost there. ETA 4 minutes!" Came a voice from the front.

The man turned back to her, putting more gauze and pushing down harder on the bleeding chest.

Realizing that the girl was muttering, he leaned in closer.

"Logan… I'm sorry. My fault…. My fault… I'm sorry dad."

Suddenly, the monitor gave a sharp cry. "Shit! She flat-lined!" he cried. The other paramedic pulled out the defibrillator and she started charging it up as the man started CPR.

"Clear!" she called as he pulled his hands back and a jolt ran through the young girl's body.

But nothing happened. Once again, they worked on trying again.

But the 15-year-old eyes began to drift shut. As they closed all Rogue could hear was the frantic calls of the paramedics and the faint sight of Loki hovering above her as her heart took its last few beats.

'Warmth.'

'Comfort.'

'Things that I shouldn't be feeling….'

Rogue's eyes slowly slid open to see a grey high ceiling. Blinking, she glanced around the room she was in. The room was spacious with an antique-looking dresser, a large mirror propped up on the top of it. Next to the bed was a bedside table with a large wash-bowl with a wet-towel hanging on the edge of it. There were 2 doors next to each other. One was firmly closed, the other slightly ajar, showing a room with a large antique-looking tub in it. The bed was large, a queen size at least, with soft blankets and large, fluffy pillows. Sitting up, she felt a flash of pain shot across her chest and midsection. Looking down, she found she was wearing a light grey, old fashioned nightgown. When she pulled back the collar, she found her chest and stomach wrapped in bandages.

Just as she adjusted her gown back into place, the closed-door opened for a lady with long, golden blonde hair pulled up into pigtails and large, bright, emerald green eyes poked her head in.

"Oh, you're awake!" She exclaimed as she walked in. She was wearing a long red dress with a black over jacket and slip-on shoes.

"I was starting to wonder if you would ever wake up. My husband found you last week just a few miles out in the hills. You were badly injured and had a fever so he brought you here." She told her happily. "Oh, I should go and get him!" She exclaimed excitedly and rushed out of the room.

Rogue blinked in surprise. What in the world was happening. This lady dressed and acted like she was straight out of the Victorian Era!

Within moments, she was back in the room with a man that was a few inches taller than the lady following her. He had messy bluish-black hair and deep blue eyes. He had a thin frame and wore a black Victorian-style suit.

He gave her a small smile. "It is good to see you well and awake. My name is Ciel Phantomhive and you have already met my wife, Elizabeth Phantomhive."

A small head poked around the corner of the door. He was young, with messy blackish-blue hair and big emerald green eyes. Upon seeing him, Ciel ushered him in. "This is our son."

The boy gave her a large grin. "Hello, my name is Sebastian and I am 8 years old!"

Ciel smiled at his son then turned back to Rogue.

"Could you tell us what happened?" he inquired.

"Where am I? How am I still alive?" Rogue uttered in disbelief.

It was Ciel who answered her. "You are in our mansion in the England countryside. I found you in the hills, injured, so I brought you back here to get healed and recover."

Getting a bad feeling, she asked another question.

"Could…. Could you perhaps tell me what day it is?"

Elizabeth answered this time. "It's July 19, 1879."

Rogue was shocked. How was she in the past?

"Do you have anything to do with the Joestars? They live about 10 miles south of us. Did you get lost on your way to them? They are the only home for miles other than the town." Ciel inquired.

"The Joestars?" Rogue whispered in shock. Was she in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventures universe? How was that possible? And she was supposed to be dead. She was certain that she died.

Ciel, noticing that Rogue had an internal battle going on in her head, knelt and told Sebastian to go find their dog and play outside for a bit.

Sebastian nodded and bounded out the door calling out for his dog, Michaelis.

Watching the boy leave, Rogue quickly making up a story in her head,

she started telling them what happened.

"My name is Rogue. I was traveling with my guardian, Logan, across the country when we were attacked by bandits. They wanted our money but we did not carry much on us. In their anger, they stabbed Logan, set our coach with our belongings on fire, and turned to me. They started talking about having 'fun' with me, but Logan grappled with them and told me to run. As I ran, I heard a loud bang. I… I think they shot him." She stuttered, the image of Logan laying on the ground, covered in blood, ran through her mind. Tears welled up and flowed down her cheeks as her hands shook.

After a few moments, she wiped her eyes with her still shaking hand, she took a deep breath and continued. "We were heading for the nearby village to stay for a while. But now that all that I had gone up in flames and now I have nothing. I don't know what to do…" she trailed off.

That was true. She had no idea what to do now. Pushing the thought aside, she looked up at the couple.

Ciel had a thoughtful look on his face as he started talking.

"Well, we can get you set up. I know of a small hotel that you can stay at for the time being after you get better. If you need assistance getting a job, we can see if we can help with that. But that will have to wait until all your injuries are healed."

Rogue nodded and laid back down as a sudden wave of exhaustion hit her. Ciel and Elizabeth nodded their heads and left the room. Laying there, everything seemed to hit her at once.

Logan was killed, she died, and now she was in an entirely different universe that seemed to be like an anime! What next?

She sat back up and turned to look out the window when a figure faded into her line of sight.

"Loki?" she uttered in shock as she recognized the humanoid creature. But there was a major difference. Loki was always very transparent, very hard to make out any distinct colors or features. But now she could see him very clearly.

He was a pattern of pale blue and green with golden protrusions around his face, the top of it vaguely being in the shape of a crown. His eyes were a deep blood red, with green iris. His hair was a dark black that was pulled back and extended out around his slender body. The tips of a few of his fingers were pale blue while the others were green. Gold strands stretched across his chest, midsection, and waist with green diamonds sitting on the strands. And he was very tall, close to 7 feet tall.

As she stared at him, a smile graced his face.

"Hello, Rogue. I'm glad to see you awake."

Rogue jerked back in surprise as she looked around the room for the source of the voice that seemed to echo. Loki's shoulders shook as if he was laughing.

She looked at Loki with wide eyes. "Loki… Was that you?"

"Yes, that was me, my dear. You are hearing me through our mental connection."

Rogue blinked in surprise. "How is this possible? You were more like a ghost and now you're like this? And how am I still alive? I am certain that I died. And are we in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventures universe? Loki, what is going on?!" She rambled, panic beginning to overwhelm her.

"Calm down. Yes, you did die. I could feel my presence fading away as your soul was leaving your body. But suddenly, your soul was pulled by some unknown source through dimensions and I was pulled with you. I have more of a form now because when we left our dimension, we both got a rush of power that brought you back to life, healed your major injuries, and gave me a solid form. And yes, the dimension we were pulled into is the JoJo universe. I am not entirely sure why we were pulled here but I have a feeling that it will be explained soon. For now, you need to rest and focus on getting better." Loki patiently explained.

Rogue gave an exhausted nod as she laid back once again and closed her eyes to fall into a deep sleep. When she had fallen asleep, Loki faded away.

JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA
Rogue was floating in a grey fog-filled place. There was no up or down, nothing as far as the eye could see.

"Hello, Mary."

Rogue head whipped around to see that there was no one that she could see.

"Who's there?" She yelled.

"I apologize that I cannot show myself. My presence would be too much for your mortal form. It would kill you and I would rather you not die."

"Who are you?" she asked.

"I am the one who brought you here. I am this universe's version of God."

Rogue furrowed her eyebrows. "I don't believe in God. My birth parents ruined that idea for me."

The voice, sounding sad, spoke again, "I am truly sorry for what you went through. From what I have seen, they took their faith too far. But I assure you that I am real."

Rogue thought about it and nodded. "Ok, I will believe you are a higher power but I will not call you God. Can I call you Yato? He's a Japanese entity character from a series I watched that I liked a lot."

The voice spoke again, this time tinted with amusement "You can call me that, sweet child."

Rogue looked around again. "Can you tell me how I ended up in the JoJo universe? I swear that I died from that gunshot wound."

Yato sounded serious as he spoke again. "When you died, it allowed me to pull you here to my universe. There are things I hope you could help me with. You see, the version of my universe that you know of is one of my better versions. But I know things can be made better. I am hoping that you might help."

Rogue blinked in surprise. "Why me?"

"When you were born, I could sense that you had amazing potential so powerful that I could feel it over here in my universe. So I and my counterpart from your universe had a discussion and I was allowed to gift you something. Your stand. I believe you call him Loki."

With those words, Loki faded into existence next to her.

"I will alert you when there is a situation that needs to be changed, same as when something that needs to stay the same. When nothing needs changing and there is nothing that you wish to do, I can warp you to your next point so time does not drag for you. Would you be willing to help me, Mary?"

Rogue nodded. "I'll help but my name isn't Mary. That girl vanished years ago. My name is Rogue."

"Very well. I thank you for your help. Now wake and set forth on your mission, Rogue."

JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA-JJBA

Rogue's eyes fluttered open to see the sunrise shining through her window. Loki faded back into sight again and gave her an inquiring look. She nodded and Loki faded back out with a sharp nod.

A soft knock sounded on the door and an elderly man in a sophisticated suit and a monocle with grey hair and a mustache opened the door.

"Hello, ma'am. Master Ciel is wondering if you will be joining us for breakfast today." He asked.

On cue, a loud grumble sounded from her stomach. Rogue blushed in embarrassment at the sound. The man let out a small chuckle and spoke again.

"Well, that answers that inquiry. Do you require any assistance dressing?" He inquired.

Rogue shook her head. "I can dress myself. All I need to know is where I can bathe myself and where my clothes are."

He nodded. "We have a washbasin in the adjourning room next to this door where you can wash yourself. The clothes that you were found in were too torn up and bloodied that they were unsavable. But we have some dresses that belonged to Lady Elizebeth when she was younger that should fit you that she said you are more than welcome to use. They are in the wardrobe next to the vanity. I shall get the hot water ready for you."

With that, he entered the washroom and started to prepare the hot water for her wash as she slowly got up, working out her stiff limbs from laying for a long time.

The man exited the washroom. "The hot water is ready for you ma'am. I will wait outside the door to lead you to the dining room when you are done." And left the room.

Rogue quickly washed up and pulled her hair up into a low ponytail with a ribbon. With a towel wrapped around her waist, she opened the wardrobe to see a few dresses hanging up. She grabbed a long sleeve dress with a white top and a deep purple bottom and quickly put it on with a few difficulties that she quickly figured out.

Ready to go, she opened the door hesitantly to see the man standing in the hallway. Upon seeing her, he nodded his head to her. "Follow me, ma'am."

Trailing behind him, Rogue spoke up. "I don't think I ever got your name. May I ask what it is?" she asked.

"My apologies. My name is Tanaka," he told her.

Rogue smiled at him. "Hello, Mr. Tanaka. My name is Rogue."

He gave her a smile in return. "It is a pleasure to meet such a kind young lady, Lady Rogue. But you can just call me Tanaka."

"Only if you just call me Rogue. There is no need for the Lady."

Tanaka's eyes widened. "I could never do that. That is above my station and I would get in trouble."

Rogue gave it a thought then countered. "Then about just Ms? I would be ok with Ms and that is still formal. Will that suffice?"

The butler's eyes softened as he sent her a smile. "That sounds sufficient, Ms. Rogue."

Soon they reached the dining room and Tanaka pulled open the sliding doors.

Elizabeth and Sebastian sat on opposite sides of the table while Ciel sat at the head. At the sound of the door opening, they all looked toward them. Seeing Rogue, Elizabeth's face broke out into a big smile and gently patted the spot next to her, inviting her to sit next to her.

"It's good to see you up and around. You were asleep for so long after Ciel found you, I was worried that you were hurt more than we first thought." Elizabeth said.

Rogue smiled back at her as she sat down. "I was a bit stiff but I just had to stretch my muscles and I was fine."

After they finished eating and the plates were cleared away, Ciel stood up and suggested they all move into the sitting room for more comfort while they talked.

Once they were settled, Ciel asked what she liked to do in her free time.

Rogue thought about it and replied. "Well, I like to cook. My guardian said I was pretty good. But my problem is that I know that I will not be able to stay permanently. I am not sure when but I will have to leave eventually"

Ciel looked thoughtful for a second as he turned to his wife and they had a quick conversation. Once they finished, they turned back to Rogue.

"It just happens that our chief has broken his leg in a carriage accident and will not be able to move around for quite a while. For the time that you are with us, we would be willing to have you as our chef. How does that sound?" Ciel asked.

The purplelette nodded in amazement. "And when I find out when I have to leave, I will give you at least a week's notice."

The married couple smiled at her and Ciel held out his hand to shake on it.

Rogue took out the outstretched hand and smiled. She now had a job. Now all she had to do was make sure she helped out the Joestars.
