A bit of admin before we start, this chapter is late. 5 YEARS late. There is no excuse for this. That being said, however, I do plan on picking this story back up, more information at the bottom in the Author's notes.

"Orders were to stand guard over hi..."

"Be quiet you. He is waking up"

As Naruto woke up, he found himself restrained. The room was quite dim, with the only source of light above him. His hands were restrained above him while his feet were securely placed in cuffs. His brief glance at the restraining devices shows that there were seals engraved on them, but Naruto couldn't make out what they did. His eyes were glued to the two women in the room, Konan and who he assumed to be a TREE member. The TREE member was closer to Naruto and had a look in her eyes. She was hungry, but not for food, but for the sins of the flesh.

"Well, Love, I guess we will see each other again, but before I leave with the Angel, allow me to leave a small gift," The woman spoke as she raised her hand and rested it on his neck. She then made a quick scratching motion, drawing blood. She then finally licked the small amount of blood off her nails. "Now I know your scent."

As the two women left, a third voice, a man's, responded, "Well, it is just you and me now. Since you are nice and restrained in that position, I suppose that I should tell you what is going to happen to you. I have some questions and if you give out one lie, the seals on your cuffs will activate, giving you a nice little shock. It won't be enough to kill, but enough to feel the agony. If you want to give up, just say so. If you do, however, your greatest strength is mine. As a matter of fact, my men already have her right now."

It was then that Naruto realized that they have a woman. But who? It doesn't matter, he needs to escape pronto and let his superiors know if they haven't already. First, however, the torture.

"Alright, carrier boy, first question."

Ten minutes later, Naruto is carried back to his cell. The cell in question already has a guest. A dead body. Suddenly, his codec rings. It was the FOX commander Nara.

"Report, Maelstrom."

"Not much to report. I have a guest with me in the cell."

"Any confirmation as to the identity of the person?"

"No. The body is half decomposed already."

"Damn. Any idea as to where you are?"

"I'm underground, I know for that much The TREE really did a number on me."

"Maelstrom" Commander Nara trailed off. She was unsure how to proceed. For all she knew, the guest in the cell was the last mission that she was given, and with the way that the body is decomposed, there is no way. Her thoughts were cut off with one small detail. "Check the body's eyes."

Naruto checked the body again. Sure enough, eye sockets were empty. "Empty," Naruto reported.

"Your gear. It has a sealing scroll in it. Take it out and seal the body. You have access to chakra, no?"

"Affirmative."

"Henge into the dead body."

Naruto does so when the guard runs off from his post. Sure enough, his relief didn't arrive for another two minutes. Plenty of time for all hell to break loose.

Author's Notes and statistics:

Chapter 2 is now officially in the books, and I have no excuse for the tardiness of this chapter. I simply lacked any drive to write this or any other story for that matter for the past few years. Now that I am balanced, I will be writing more soon.

As far as future stories goes, I will be taking time to complete my current projects first and then move on to other things. Right now, the three projects that are currently on my plate are War of Anubis (my personal pet project), The Lonely Cub (A Fatal Fury/Naruto crossover) and this one.
