(Author's Note: This is pretty much my first time writing a story on this scale or just writing fanfiction like this in general, but my English is pretty rough around the edges as it is my second language, and I could make mistakes on my Grammar. Besides that, my knowledge of both franchises' lore is minimal, so I am sorry if I make any mistakes on explaining or doing something against the lore.)

Prologue

"In this world, people have these unique abilities called quirks. Some people use them for good and the benefit of a better world for everyone. Then some abuse their quirks to achieve their illicit desires and ambitions where people are hurt, and societies crumble in their wake. Amidst this threat, some use their unique quirks to stand up and defend those that can't protect themselves. They maintain stability, order, and justice. Those people are called "Heroes." They stave off these "Villains," whose only motive is to destroy, manipulate, and consume."

"People are born unequal" as the people say in this world… Despite the world inhabitants having extraordinary abilities and populating 80% of the world's general population. Some are born without Quirks. Those people are often subject to discrimination and bullied out of society unless they prove their usefulness and considerable skills. However, those kinds of people often have a hard time fitting into the "quirky" civilization."

The Ghost finishes his short and quick analysis of the world to his Guardian. Still, the Hunter is visibly uncomfortable at his brief research.

"You know, despite someone who doesn't talk much… The look on your face already says it all." The Ghost says, and it "frowned" to his Guardian, who was looking very cringed out at the end of that short story.

"Anyway… What are we going to do now? My knowledge about this world is still pretty limited. If we go in, we might be seen as a Hero, or perhaps we could use that? It's your call, Guardian." The Ghost reminded the Guardian as they both look at the city from afar.

Earlier

Within the Pyramidion's depths, One Guardian is standing alone in the middle of a large vex gate. The Guardian has been there before during the Red War, where he defeated the giant hobgoblin named The Genesis Mind Brakion after it arrived from that same Gate.

He and his Ghost were sent there by Asher to perform a quick investigation and analysis on the strange new Vex Gate where the Genesis Mind Brakion arrived from back then. Now it's overhauled by the Vex, and its unique appearance shows some presence and visible improvements in the design.

"Guardian, I'll start my scan on the Gate. Keep me covered as I figure out what adjustments they created on this." The Ghost recommended, and the Guardian followed, The Hunter allowed his GhostGhost to scan the mysterious machine as he stands to watch his Ghost's back. However, standing in the middle of the room and getting a good look at the place. It looks as if the Vex wouldn't come in anytime soon.

The Hunter looked back at his Ghost as it worked around with the odd Vex structure as it shoots beams of light on it to analyze the machine. Then the Hunter faces back at the open area littered with the corpses of the Vex left behind during his last visit in the Pyramidion. Though the Guardian thinks about it for a moment, Normally, the Vex would immediately come right out of their portals and teleportation when his Ghost would come to tamper with their technology unless it's abandoned or broken beyond repair. Hee Vex didn't even bother to appear as the Ghost continues with its scans, which the Guardian finds this behavior to be uncharacteristic of the Vex.

Before the Guardian could assume that the Vex wouldn't come out, The Gate suddenly becomes active.

"Woah." The Ghost says and quickly floats back to the Guardian.

"What's wrong? Assistant, what did you do?!" Asher Mir immediately comes through the comms.

"Asher, The gate suddenly opened!" The Ghost responds as both he and the Guardian stares at the vex gate.

As soon as it got activated, the Hunter unholstered his Huckleberry SMG, and the Ghost immediately returns inside the Guardian's backpack. The Guardian was ready to fight whatever threat that can come out of the portal that was until he hears Asher's scrambled message through the comms.

"...ssista...et...out of-" Just after that cut transmission when the Guardian felt like they're getting pulled in by the portal by gravity. The Hunter reacted quickly by jumping back away from the portal. Still, the portal's pull seems to start getting stronger as the Hunter resisted its power. He then grabbed on to a ledge to stop himself from getting pulled inside the portal but that when he overlooked a Vex Goblin's severed arm flew towards the Guardian's face and hitting him, causing him to let go.

"GUARDIAAAAN!" The Ghost shouted into the Guardian's ear as they start getting pulled in by the Gate, out of desperation, the Guardian began to shoot the arching beams of the portal to disable it. However, it took all of his ammo from his SMG, and it wasn't enough to dent it, but by then, he was eventually sucked into the portal, and from there, the vex gate closed it's portal immediately. After it finally took the Guardian...

Back to Present

After the events at the Pyramidion, the first thing that the Guardian saw after he woke up is that he's in the forest. But being a Hunter has its significant perks as the Guardian had no issues in navigating around the forest other than the point of where they are currently. The Guardian assumed that they'd been teleported to the EDZ. Still, after traveling around more, they are not due to the landscape and humidity difference. The first thing the Ghost tried to do after they have known that they are in an unusual place, the Ghost tried to contact Asher or the Vanguard, but when they tried to do that, no one came to respond. The Ghost also tried other channels that they knew but found nothing except an already established broadcasting channel. When the Ghost accessed it for the Guardian, they have a ton of unfamiliar information and other unfamiliar broadcasts and media.

Curious and confused, they used that access to free information to understand better where they are, and it was quickly established that they are not in their world. The Guardian and the Ghost are in another world entirely. The Guardian was still baffled by this new world, but it was also a relief as seeing it as a world not tainted by the ravages of the collapse. Still, there is also no Traveler, No Light, and No Guardians with only him and his Ghost being an exception. But another problem is that they cannot access their inventory of arsenals, glimmer, items, and even his Sparrow and ship. All the Guardian has been left with is his light, wit, and his trusty dagger. The Ghost and the Guardian remained in the forest for another week to better understand the world and its new norms while still trying to explain their stable connection to the light. It is still untouched, only to come up with no explanation all in the end.

The next day...

The Guardian arrived in the city he and his Ghost first saw after getting out of the forest, it turns out they are in Japan. The location they are in is called "Musutafu," where there is the frequent activity of Villains but also Heroes. The infrastructures seem pretty ordinary and similar to the abandoned ones in the EDZ though a bit primitive compared to what he sees in the last city.

But as expected, some people would turn to look at his direction as he casually walks by, The reaction is not to what he had expected too as some would give him some weird look and gossip at his appearance. His apparel is a Frumious Hunter armor and hooded cape set with white, black, and blue colors. He made a mistake for thinking that this is the Last City where people would usually cheer on Guardians like himself. However, to these people, he probably looks like a weirdo to them.

While thinking that possibility, He heard some distant explosions, which also attracted some of the local's attention.

"A Villain?"

"There's a villain! Let's go see!"

"Some Heroes are at the scene too!"

"These reactions... It's so different than what I anticipated. I thought they'd be more concerned and afraid to the villains, but it looks as if it's an attraction of sorts when heroes are at the scene." The Ghost says inside Hunter's mind as he watches the crowd silently as some went to the scene to watch.

"You're planning to go there, won't you? Well... I'm not stopping you, and this is a good opportunity to know what their capabilities are, Let's go." The Guardian then followed the crowd to the scene.

After arriving, he sees where the fight is currently happening. The scene is on top of a bridge of train tracks, and there is already some fighting a big "Villain" from what the Guardian can assume thus far, and he sees another Hero is controlling the crowd, and that hero saw him.

"Hey! You, What are you doing just standing around? Go help them out. Leave the crowd-control to me!" The Tall and Bulky man with white short spike hair and wears a Headband with a yellow and black-stripe caution pattern which matches his wrist to the Guardian.

"We do look like Heroes to them… Don't just stand there. Better do something." The Ghost recommended, and The Guardian had a moment to think it through as he has no weapons to use, except for the Light and his Dagger… The Guardian then realizes what he can do and springs into action.

The Hunter jumps over the crowd and sprints towards the action.

"Whatever your plan is… I hope it's a good idea!" The Ghost says as the Hunter was running straight towards their fight in this world.
