Chapter 4 - Assessment of Heroics

(Authors note: I am still looking for a certain format I wanna stick with while writing this fanfic, So i'm trying different styles to see which are best for me in terms of Readability.)

The next day, It was the Entrance Exam for UA and Gary was just preparing the necessities he needs before leaving. Nothing significant or important had happened in the Ryojima household aside from the normal day-to-day procedures. As Guardians don't regularly need to eat or sleep, the Hunter stayed up all night to research more on what was in store for him in the exams and attempt to refurbish his armor's appearance. Although his ghost, Oracle did most of the research while Gary was tending to his equipment, such as stripping off some of the unnecessary cosmetics on the armor and trying to change the overall appearance of it… He was doing that because of a specific event that happened in-between what Gary calls the "Train-Track Bridge Combat" and after registering to a homestay program to blend into the nation's society.

The authorities had found out that after the Tatooine Station incident, a footage was leaked and went viral on social media. The Footage features Gary in his Frumious Armor confronting the Tall Brute who happens to be just a common thief that went wild as he was cornered. Him and the Thief fought for a moment and gave enough time for Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady to arrive and effectively apprehend the suspect, The unfortunate part was that Kamui was there to confront the Cloaked Vigilante but was unable to apprehend the Vigilante due to his appearance looking more professionally made than looking amateurish which throws off the young hero's intuition in identifying whether or not he's a licensed hero or not. Kamui gained some flak from that statement, but an investigation began to know who really was the Individual in the White Cloak. Luckily the progress of that investigation hasn't bear any fruit yet as they still lack any evidence or lead to start with after Gary suddenly went "off-grid".

For now the Guardian's identity is safe but they must never use the abilities of the Arcstrider subclass as according to his ghost, Oracle; "some who saw the events personally or watched the footage of him using the ability, the more perceptive individuals could start puzzling it together should he be seen using that ability throughout his time in the UA Institution." While on the topic about the light abilities the ghost was uncertain about something, the Guardian can still use the abilities of other subclasses normally. Despite the effectiveness and output of his subclass power and ability had been weakened due to their weak connection to the light. Then that was bothering Oracle and made him worried about his Guardian. While he can still heal him normally, He worries that due to their current connection with the Light he might not be able to revive Gary.

He advised Gary to be cautious and avoid making more rash and reckless decisions that would inevitably result in his untimely demise.

Early Morning

Gary went down the stairs wearing a semi-formal apparel that would make him look more like a student for the UA Entrance exam and he joined the Ryojima family for breakfast and while he doesn't require to eat at all, he didn't want the family to be suspicious or be worried and also he didn't want to act rude around them. The meal he ate was a well-balanced meal and better than the spicy pork broth ramen he kept eating at the Tower. He conversed with the daughter, Nanako Ryojima about the more unwritten etiquette of the nation's norms and some advice for some trivial manners in the household

After breakfast, the Guardian and the girl Nanako left the house together to go to their respective schools. As it turns out, Nanako, herself needs to use the same train station that Gary would use to reach UA. The girl occasionally engages Gary with small talk as the girl's curiosity of the young hunter's background was bottomless. He answered most of her questions in an attempt to satisfy her own curiosity throughout their way to reach the station, but the most intriguing and troubling question given to him by her was about his Quirk.

She asked; "Since, you're attending UA I'm suuuper curious about what your quirk can do?"

Oracle couldn't give a straight answer for Gary as the Ghost himself found the properties of the Light to be very complex and vague in a way but Gary had to answer her question with the best possible way that he could give to her while trying not to tell her too much that he might accidentally say something out of context that is related to his world.

Gary answered; "...My quirk is... Kind of complicated to describe the specifics. As the doctors themselves cannot give a more straight or a clear answer to understand. But my quirk can allow me to create a weapon or I can use a weapon I hold to incorporate an element that I can use like; Fire, Lighting, and- So on. But those two are the only elements that I can manipulate so far. But while the name doesn't seem to fit, I just don't want it to sound too long, so I just called it 'Light'."

Though Nanako was confused, but also intrigued to know more, but she decided not to ask too much as she realized that she could step into his privacy. Then Gary decided to turn the question back to her, about her quirk and what school she is attending.

According to Nanako, the school she goes to is Isamu Academy and it is also an institution where students can learn and train to become heroes but is not as popular as UA and her quirk turns out to be having a similar abilities to an animal called a "Cheetah" which is obvious to her cat features all the way down to her cat ears and her tail which Gary only just noticed now looking at her more closely.

The conversation continued as it moved to a more trivial topic in the remainder of the two's journey to the station. Once they arrived though they boarded different trains and Nanako recommended that the two would plan to meet and wait at the station after their entrance exams were complete so that the two could go home together. That was when the Hunter made a vital oversight on his part when Nanako asked him for his phone email so that the two could stay in touch… The situation was that he never acquired a "phone" as he dismissed the idea of owning one, thinking it was unimportant and unnecessary as he already has his Ghost.

He then made up an excuse that he never had a phone to begin with and used his "orphanage background" to solidify the excuse, but he promised to come straight to the station after he was done with the exam and Nanako believed it. With it said and done, the two departed from their respective trains and separated for now.

…. On their way, Gary stands quietly with the rest of the crowd inside the train when the seats are full. Though he was surprised by the amount of people inside as he did not realize that there would be a lot of people crammed inside a single train cart and the Ghost stated that it would only get worse in the "rush hour". Many thoughts flow inside the Young Hunter's mind as he had enough time to reflect on a few things for himself and collect his thoughts and information he gained from his Ghost.

Turns out, the UA's Entrance exams contained standard written exams and a more "practical" exam. Information about it was limited, but there was a notice that the student must carry a pair of extra clothes, preferably a workout outfit and he just so happens to brought a plain looking sweatshirt and sweatpants that he borrowed during his "Shopping Spree".

…..

The Same day, UA High School Entrance

Gary arrived at the esteemed institution, He made his remarks in his thoughts and he was impressed though the place seemed to be underwhelming and the only noteworthy addition to the school is its main campus. The building's design looks like a giant letter H as it stands proudly.

Having had enough staring at the big building, he walked in and made his way to get inside the main campus while he passed by a familiar looking boy with curly green hair and he was getting flustered at a short girl with bobbed hair. Gary leaves them be and goes in through a big door with a huge number one on it as directed by Oracle and goes to the orientation room with the others. Then the young hunter waited until the room was full.

From there, one by one the lights in the center stage turned on and one of the teachers gained the attention of all the students while some motivational rock-ish music started playing.

"For all you young examinee listeners tuning in, welcome to my show today!" The person with a blonde and exotic looking hairstyle says.

Then he continued, "Everybody say: HEY!"

He commanded as an attempt to lively up the crowd only to be met with a deafening silence, But the Blonde Speaker person continued with the orientation.

"What a refined response. Then I will quickly present to you a rundown on the Practical Exam." He says before having another boisterous attempt to rile up the crowd.

"Are you ready?! YEAH!" He shouted then-

"YEAAAAH!" someone else suddenly shouted with the presenter which drew everyone's attention to them. It was Gary, who couldn't help himself but say it with the presenter and show his unexpected enthusiasm.

"...Really guys?" He says, sounding a bit disappointed as the students look at him, surprised at his sudden cry before he sits back down and just after he sat down he started hearing some small chuckle and whisper.

Then the orientation begins, It started off with the students being assigned to different divisions as stated from their card provided to them. Gary is in Battle Center B and as it turns out they'll be having the Practical mock battle exam first which is under a short time limit of 10 minutes. The orientation continues and more information was provided about the Mock Battle, It has a scoring system on which you gain on defeating a faux villain that has a number on them and he needs to take down as many villains as he can to rack up as much points as possible to earn a high enough score to pass. It seemed like something that even a New Light like Gary can handle.

Although Oracle was skeptical and thinks that there are ulterior motives for this, as it just seemed to be too simple for it to be a mock battle… But the Ghost continues to listen to the Presenter as he has yet to explain about the Fourth Mock Villain shown in the printed copy provided.

Suddenly one of the students raised their hand, then stands straight up

"May i ask a question?" The Intelligent Looking student asked

"Okay!" The Blonde Speaker Person approved the inquiry.

The Intelligent looking student then pointed at his printed copy.

"There are 4 different types of villains shown on this printout. If this is a misprint, Then UA, the most renowned school in Japan, should be embarrassed by this foolish error!" The Intelligent looking boy says.

Then he puts the paper down, then puts a fist in his chest before he continues;

"In this place, we examiners are here because we want to be molded into exemplary heroes."

The Intelligent Student says and Oracle was impressed by the student's eagerness and prideful aura that he sees in the person until he turns around and points at another student.

"In addition, You, with the curly hair-"

Then some looked over at who the Intelligent looking person was pointing and it was that same boy with the curly hair he saw at the entrance.

"You've been muttering this whole time. It's distracting!"

"If you're here on a pleasure trip, Then you should leave immediately!"

The tone of the Intelligent looking person suddenly turned serious which Oracle thinks that it had something to do with his eagerness and he's very serious about this.

"-and for you!" He says, then pointed at Gary suddenly.

"If you believe that you're in some kind of easy time here, I suggest that you remove such irrational ideas and take this more seriously." He says, likely referring to Gary's suddenly joining in with the Blonde Speaker guy's enthusiasm.

Gary visibly frowned at him, taking offense at his words, but his Ghost immediately tempered his behavior before he could say something that could kick him out before he could get started in his "hero career".

The Blonde Speaker guy chirps in stopping the small murmurs and chuckles from the students.

"Okay, Okay, Examinee Number 7111." He says and he memorized the student's number

"Thanks for the feedback." He then gave a thumbs up before continuing to explain the Fourth type villain.

He states that the 4th Villain type is worth no points and acts as a obstacle that can be avoided and ignored but Gary assumed that the 4th Villain type must be powerful in some way to be just an obstacle so he believes that it might not be worth the effort in bringing it down but it could be a hassle to deal with not to mention that the Speaker guy says that the area that they'll be conducting their exams can have narrow alleys and he recommended that the examinees to avoid it if they encounter it.

After the Speaker guy explained it, The Intelligent looking person thanked him and apologized for his rudeness of suddenly speaking out of the blue before sitting down and the spotlight over him faded. Then shortly after Gary could hear some students silently gossiping and talking about the obstacle course.

"So… This whole thing is kind of like a game isn't?"

"Yeah, It has obstacles and everything."

"So they see this whole thing as a game too?... Kind of is but I can't shake the feeling that there is something else for this obstacle course." Gary thought and Oracle agreed.

"Yeah... We need to keep an eye out on anything suspicious during that course." Oracle says then the Speaker person continues.

"That's going to be all from me! Finally, I'll give you listeners a present and that is our school motto! The hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said: 'A true hero is someone who overcomes life's misfortunes.' -Go beyond. PLUS ULTRA!" As the Speaker person says that, the same words popped up on the huge screen behind him.

"Go beyond… Plus Ultra? Sounds like a sales pitch, but it does sound pretty catchy." Gary thought and Oracle disagreed.

"I think you're missing the whole point of that phrase…" Oracle says, then the Speaker person then says one final thing before finishing the presentation.

"...Now, everyone, good luck suffering!" He says, then that line was reminiscent of someone that Gary knew very well.

"He… He sounded like Lord Shaxx…" Gary thought

…..

Same day, UA Practical Exam, Battle Center B

Gary had changed into his workout outfit and rode a bus all the way to get to what looks like a mock city with the other students chosen for Battle Center B. Everyone is staring at the large door that's still closed after everyone got off the bus, Gary did too as he was impressed by the construction that is somewhat similar but vastly inferior to the Last City's walls. Then all the students start concentrating and do some quick warm up by stretching and building confidence before the exams could start.

Gary took the time to look around at the other students participating and some of them are even eager and just brimming with confidence.

"Look at the others… They even have some equipment on them." Oracle pointed out and the Guardian noticed.

"You're right… Could it be that quirks can't really work well without some kind of technological aid?" Gary asked and Oracle started to speculate.

"Perhaps… Based on the information i've gathered so far. Quirks can have different abilities, even vastly mutating a person's look to the point that they won't even look human. Some look more impressive while some more unfortunate are born with a cactus for a head." Oracle says and the last part is what Gary finds the most ridiculous.

Gary crossed his arms together and looked around his surroundings and that's where he saw the same curly haired boy from before and he looked tense as he was walking in the crowd of people. He observed him from afar and watched him be stopped by the same Intelligent Looking boy who scolded him at the orientation… He didn't like the situation at all so he walked a little closer so he could hear what was happening.

"What are you doing here? Are you taking the entrance exams to interfere with everyone else?" the Intelligent looking boy asked the curly boy.

"N-N-N-No, Of course not…" The curly boy stuttered and then tried to explain why he's here.

Then Gary could hear the crowd murmuring and singling out the frail young boy just by looking at him. While Gary doesn't exactly care about this whole affair, the fact that the boy gets here at all has got some courage to bring himself here is admirable enough, but Oracle was worried for the boy on how he'll turn out during this test.

As the crowd were busy mocking the boy while the Intelligent looking person looks down on the him, Gary noticed that the door was already opened and then suddenly-

"Okay, start!" A familiar voice shouted and everyone looked up to an observation tower.

"In a real fight, there are no countdowns! Run, Run! The die is cast, you know?" It was the same Speaker guy at the orientation.

After that, Gary joined the crowd as they all rush inside the battle center from there he could see some Villain bots waiting for them and as he was going to activite his Golden Gun ability other quicker examinees was swift to take them down before Gary could act, This surprised him and made him rethink about how he sees these people despite some of them looking harmless.

"Gary, don't get distracted. Let's separate from the crowd and find other bots that are hiding." Oracle says and Gary agreed.

He split off from the large crowd and ran into a narrow alleyway. Just as when he could try to think of a strategy as he was running something immediately burst out of the wall in front of him causing him to stop.

"Hero detected. I must kill you." a mechanical voice can be heard and the apparent villain bot is just a one point as seen in its huge number one on one of its arms.

Seeing it as a target, Gary prepares to activate his Golden Gun ability; He raised his right arm up and soon after a blazing hot revolver materialized in his hand, but Oracle noticed something, He noticed how the fire wasn't as powerful as it usually was and he assumed that it has something to do with their weak link.

Despite that, The hunter aimed the Golden gun at his target and fired once thinking it would be a one shot blow like it usually was but the sound of the gun when it fired confused the hunter. It sounded less like a powerful blast instead it sounded like an energy weapon and he watched as the Villain blocked the attack with one of its arms and the Golden Gun's shot merely left a dent and a scorch mark.

Gary was visibly surprised and fired twice in a panic, the first shot missed but the second hit the bot directly in the visor and it instantly disabled the bot. This became a problem now that he realizes the situation, but his Ghost quickly commented..

"Guardian! I know what you're feeling, but now is not the time to panic. Just get through this and we'll figure it out later!" Oracle says and the Hunter moves on…

Observation Tower

"In this practical exam, The examiners aren't informed of the villain bots' location and numbers. They have a limited amount of time in a vast area and they have to draw all the villains from out there." An observer says as they monitor every examinee's progress from different Battle Centers. Some of the live feeds are showing some of the examinees performing noteworthy actions and strategies that the observers took interest in. Some examples are as such;

"Information gathering ability to better understand the situation before anyone else."

As the observer says this their focus turned to an examinee who is positioned in a high ground and forming certain parts of the body from their multiple arms.

"Mobility that can be used in various different circumstances."

The observer continues and they look to look at another examinee swiftly destroying both left and right quickly while maintaining speed and mobility.

"Discernment to be able to stay calm into any situation."

They stated while they show another live feed of another examinee who is not showing any signs of panicking and nervousness.

"Adaptation and Improvisation from a predicament in order to tip the favor."

Referring to another examinee with a flaming gun being able to take down 4 various bots on their own after showing some difficulties in their first encounter.

"-and pure combat ability."

Lastly referring to another examinee who took down a lot of villain bots on their own, leaving almost nothing to their fellow examinees.

"These are the basic qualities needed to keep the peace in the streets and turn into points in this test." The observer finishes their comment after monitoring the live feeds.

"Doesn't this year's group look promising?" another observer asked but another disagrees.

"Well, not yet we still can't know for sure. Their true test is still to come." They said and opened a cover to press a button…

….

Back to Battle Center B

The Hunter has managed to separate himself from the rest of the group and was going around taking out more bots as he goes by. Then he shot down 3 more bots who had another examinee cornered during his exploration, But the examinee was not very grateful despite Gary's efforts to save them from getting beaten up.

"I-I didn't need your help!" They said before running off… Then the Golden gun's ability wore off after those last 3 shots.

"You were able to rack up 40 points in such a short time… despite our powers having such a minimal output. It's impressive." Oracle stated and the Hunter was suddenly feeling tired.

"... Are you doing alright? Perhaps we should take this opportunity and-" Oracle was just about to recommend something until the ground started to shake.

The Hunter, having no time to rest, tries to get to high ground to see what's causing it and just after going on top of a building was where he saw this giant bot with a big number 0 on it and Gary's jaw just dropped seeing the sheer size of that machine.

"What the…?! T-There's no way we can fight that thing… How is this even allowed in the first place- Wait, Guardian where are you going?!" Oracle says as the Guardian runs towards it and leaps off from building to building in order to reach where the giant machine is heading before suddenly leaning over between some buildings and the Ghost suspects that it has found where most of the examinees are gathered.

While the Guardian is running towards it from the side, the big bot pounded the ground, causing everything to shake more and a gust of wind coming towards the gathered examinees creating panic and confusion to them. As the Guardian arrives and looked over to see what's happening, he can see that some are running away from the giant bot

"When facing an overwhelming threat… and how the people act after what they have seen will show their true nature…" Oracle says as he and his Guardian sees the examinees running away.

Then the Speaker person announced the time; Less than two minutes left…

Oracle doesn't see any reason for the Hunter to engage the Giant bot as they wouldn't gain any points nor reason to do so… Until the dust cleared a bit and they saw a girl stuck on some rubble and in the path of the Giant bot's treads. Seeing this, The Hunter was about to jump down to save the girl until something fast flew past him and a second later something or someone punched the Giant bot in one hit and destroyed it… saving the girl. Everyone looked up and saw who saved the trapped girl and it was that plain looking curly haired boy that everyone ridiculed.

Gary was shocked in awe and so was Oracle… Being able to see a frail looking boy to take out a giant bot that is half the size of the last city's walls with just one punch.

After seeing a display of power the Hunter looked down at the destroyed giant bot until he heard a scream from above and he suspected it was from the boy… At first he thought that the boy could land safely if he could jump from that high, but hearing such fear in the screams of the boy, he realizes that he can't as soon as he sees his right arm and both of his legs flailing so much that the Ghost told the Guardian that-

"His legs and arm are broken! Guardian!" Oracle says and the Hunter waited a bit before jumping in the air, then kicking the air again to activate his double jump ability and catched the broken boy in the air but with the momentum of the boy dropping he only joined him in the fall.

"W-what?!" The Boy says, confused and panicking.

"ARGH! I FORGOT ABOUT THIS NEW-" The Hunter shuts himself up before he spouts out more out of context comment.

"-D-Don't worry, I got you!" The Guardian says and quickly grabs hold of the boy firmly and securely in a princess carry then he positioned himself with his feet pointed to the ground as they continue to fall and the boy is still screaming as they do.

Then just a few more meters before hitting the ground, Gary kicked the air again doing the third air jump that slowed their fast decent and was in a doable speed of momentum and just as when Gary's foot touched the ground, his first step was awkward and his ankle snapped causing a surge of unbearable pain to climb up to the Hunter's body before reacting to it and as he do, He dropped the crippled boy as he stumbled down in agonizing pain while the boy slowly gets his bearings to the situation.

Gary tried to sit up and look at his right foot which is now sideways which looks gruesome but not compared to the boy's injuries as one of his arm and both of his legs are broken and has a long bruise on them. Then the girl who the curly haired boy had just saved, came to him.

"H-Hey! Are you alright?... S-Somebody-" Just as when the girl was going to ask for help, The curly boy started moving.

"...You're safe… and you saved me… Thank you." As the boy says so quietly, he moved his only functional limb which is his left arm on the road and he desperately tries to crawl away in an feeble attempt to try to continue.

"...If i could just get one point." He says, then a loud siren was heard throughout the arena and everyone stopped on what they were doing.

"...Times up." Oracle says and quietly watches as the boy looks crestfallen and then passes out on the ground before some of the examinees come to where the Giant bot was destroyed and the boy was down.

"W-What was that kid? He just suddenly jumped at the obstacle." One examinee says as some gather around.

"He seems to have a reinforcement type quirk, but it looked unusual…" Then people started commentating instead of helping.

This irked the Hunter and yelled at them.

"So are you all just going to stand there or are you going to help him?!" He shouted as he was sitting down with one of his feet still sideways. His ghost cannot heal his foot in front of such a large crowd… The Guardian may need to be sent to an infirmary where there won't be as many people around but there aren't.

"W-Woah… What happened to you?" One examinee asked and they weren't aware of the Guardian's attempt to save the falling crippled boy and before he could tell them that someone came in.

"Okay, Good work everyone." Someone new came. An old short lady wearing a lab coat and has a big injector as a walking stick walking towards the crippled boy, but not before she gave some candy to one of the examinees.

Then she walked towards the crippled boy on the ground and was worried a bit as she looked at him.

"Oh goodness, You got hurt this much by using your own quirk?" She says before her lips puckered up and at first Gary was confused as to why she did this until she kissed the boy as he was unconscious.

Gary wondered what this was supposed until-

"UA High's licensed school nurse… The Youthful Heroine, Recovery Girl." The blonde guy with the weird belt says as if he heard what Gary was thinking.

Then after she kissed him, The boy's crippled limbs seemed to have healed quickly as his broken limbs are being twisted back normally and the visible bruise on the boy's arm are disappearing.

"W-whoa." This impressed the Guardian as the healing process looked similar to the Ghost's ability.

Then he saw Recovery girl walking towards him next.

"Oh my. Despite your injury, You're pretty calm about it." She says before getting kissed and Gary's broken ankle was healed… though he felt tired all the sudden after her kiss.

Then Recovery Girl asked the crowd if everyone else was injured and the Practical exam was finished… and everybody returned back to the main campus for the written exams then the entrance exams were concluded for the day and everyone went home.

...

One Week Later, Ryojima Residence, Nighttime

Gary was eating dinner with the Ryojima family and he was still wondering when he'd get the message whether or not if he had passed the entrance exams or not, because Nanako got her results from her school this week and she passed from both his Practical and Written type exams. Which made Gary question the UA's efficiency in keeping the examinees informed about their results.

Nanako notices the troubled Hunter as he emanates such a concerned aura.

"I-I'm sure the test results are just getting finalized, maybe it'll come later or tomorrow." Nanako says, attempting to cheer up the gloomy looking Gary, until he was startled by Nanako speaking to him.

"O-Oh!... Yeah." Gary says, as he regains his composure.

"I was just… Lost in thought." He claims before drinking some water to wash down the palate but Nanako was still concerned and worried for Gary.

After dinner, Gary sits in the living room watching some television making sure he's familiar with the programs and daily events happening in the country inside the pre-golden age technology as he waits for the results to arrive. The Guardian is still troubled as he wondered how he could perform normally while his Light's ability is weakened as it is. His Ghost had to remind him that it has something to do with their faint connection to the light which the Guardian can understand that much but he was mostly worrying how he could handle a threat that cannot be defeated in his current state.

He pondered about that a little bit further until Chisato, the mother, came to Gary and handed a letter to him that had a UA wax seal on it.

"Gary, a letter came for you. It's from UA." She said in a gentle manner and surprisingly calm about it unlike the sister who just overheard the mother then coming over in excitement.

"W-Woah! It arrived just as i said it would!" Nanako says, then with the eyes of anticipation she looks at Gary waiting for him to open the letter.

Just as he would do so, the Mother stopped him.

"This type of matter should be done, Privately." She says then she started to take her daughter away from the livingroom and the Father stood up and followed his wife and gave the Hunter a thumbs up before going upstairs.

Gary was unusually nervous as he looked at the ominous mail. Though he noticed that there is some considerable weight to it, so without wasting any more time, Gary opened it and took out a strange looking device along with a letter. He studied the device a bit before setting it down on the coffee table in front of him as he looked at the letter with it and just as he was about to read what was in the letter the device lit up and a message was played.

It was All Might. Gary knew All Might thanks for the fact that his face was plastered to every store and certain merchandises, He was very popular nationwide and globally being the holder of the title of "The Symbol of Peace" which was similar to a Guardian holding the title of "Unbroken" in the Crucible just without the part where they're extraordinarily famous.

The message was then transmitted; All Might had nothing but praise for Gary talking about his adaptation in a pinch and committing the most notable act of saving another examinee more than once but the most important one was when he saved the Curly Haired boy the other day as shown to him through a recorded video of the Practical Exam. Though he did get a mediocre score on his written test which surprised his Ghost so much but the exams were not just about written examination or villain points.

The Practical Exam had an ulterior motive as the Ghost suspected, There was a hidden point that wasn't explained to the students and that was called Rescue Points which he earned 45 points for his exploits.

Then a scoreboard was shown and he was in 5th place just above by someone named Midoriya Izuku who earned no villain points but had a huge Rescue Point of 60 then it was minimize and All Might showed up again to welcome him and congratulating him in passing the tests, But the Ghost noticed how he seemed to have been rushing it until the end of the message…

From there while it was anti-climatic, The Guardian achieved his first objective to pass the exams of the Prestigious Hero School, Next part is to pass it… Learn how to restore his powers… Know more about what it means to be a Hero and how he could incorporate it for being a Guardian… Then hopefully survive.

The Hunter then takes a deep breath knowing that he's starting his new life in this world and wondered what his challenges will be in the long run.

( Wow, this is the longest one I've written so far. Thanks for reading and I'll be making more to continue this as long as I can. Probably would stop after I reached the last episode of the Season 1 of the MHA anime. But tell me if you would want me to continue to Season 2 and 3 of the anime in the future and I will see what I can do. )
