Authors note: Ello! So, I might not be able to post as much, on any of my stories. I've been having this big writers block, schools starting again, and my dads wants to limit the time I can use my phone/computer. So, yeah. I won't be able to update as often, but I'll try. Anyway, enjoy!

None of the characters are mine. They all belong to Rick Riordan.

[Annabeth's POV]

Gods that boy is just annoying.

He's the type of person Mom told me to stay away from.

So, I bumped into this boy, our parents started fighting, and then he waved at me.

"The issue on the table. We're getting bad press. All our reviews are failing, we're getting bad rep. So, this is officially Bring Your Kid To Work Week."

Mom raised her hand. "Zeus, having kids around us will just distract from our work."

"We'll just have to have them go somewhere else. Hestia has offered her office, it's cozy and she doesn't mind children." Zeus said simply. A woman smiled at waved at the other people.

Children. We're pretty much young adults. I'm turning 17 soon, and I'm still referred to as a child. When will they realize that I'm responsible?

For years, I've begged Mom to let me come here, and finally, I've done it. Now I'm being shut in a room away from her.

I snapped out of my thoughts.

"We'll take a picture for the paper, and then Hestia can take the kids." Zeus said.

Everyone trudged up, and a man ran to grab a camera. He grabbed a box and came sprinting back. He ripped it open and tossed out the wrapping. It said Hermes Express.

We all smiled at the camera.

Almost right after, Zeus had Hestia take us somewhere else. The 'children' followed her, and into a different room. It was pretty big, and definitely cozy. There was a blazing fireplace with cushions surrounding it. There was a small table in the back, and some snacks. A small basket sat by the fire, with warm and soft blankets.

Right away, a scrawny boy broke from the group and screamed "DIBS ON THE SNACKS!" He looked Latino, with curly hair and a tool belt. His hands were dirty, and had oil smudges.

"OH NO YOU DON'T! THOSE ARE FOR EVERYONE! LEO!" A pretty girl ran after him. She had braided hair and eyes like a kaleidoscope. You could never tell what color they really were.

They then proceeded to have a game of tug of war with a box of Goldfish.

Hestia just smiled. "This will be an interesting experience."

I sighed and made myself comfortable with the cushions.

The same boy that I bumped into asked Hestia "Do you have any blue jellybeans?" She replied "Yes, Poseidon warned me of you obsession."

She handed him a large bag full of blue candy. His eyes grew wide and he took it.

"Ok, how about we start with introductions?" She said and tossed everyone a cushion.

The others gathered around a fireplace. The tension was awkward, and most of them were a few feet away from everyone else.

A boy with pale skin and dark messy hair stood away from everyone completely. He had an aviator jacket and black ripped jeans. He wore a black skull t-shirt and twisted a silver skull ring on his finger.

Hestia beckoned him over, and he reluctantly came.

"Hello! I'm Hestia, I'll be your supervisor for the next week." She waved.

To her right was a boy. An aura of sunshine radiated from him. He was wrapping and unwrapping an ace bandaid.

"Hi, I'm Will." He said.

It was a blur of names after that. Generally, I'm good at keeping track of things, but there were too many. The others looked about the same.

Who knew our parents had so many kids? I only came here with my brother, Malcolm.

Then my turn. "Uh, hello. I'm Annabeth Chase."

Then the circle continued.

Finally, we got to the last kid. The same boy.

"Percy. Percy Jackson." He said simply.

That's an unusual name. British? But he acted just like an American. I made a mental note to figure that out later.

"Alright, I'll stop bugging you and let you do your own things." Hestia said and walked away.

The circle stayed quiet for a few seconds before the first person left.

Then all chaos broke loose.

Kids ran to go find their friends. Some sprinted towards the food, and others left to find a place to sleep.

That Percy guy ran over to a girl with spiky black hair. She had a younger boy next to her, maybe her younger brother?

He had blue eyes and blonde hair. He excused himself and ran towards the kaleidoscope girl.

I had a distinct memory of the girl Percy was talking too when it hit me.

"Thalia? Is that you?" I ran towards them. She gasped. "Annie! I haven't seen you in forever!"

Percy stood awkwardly as we caught up.

"Oh yeah, Kelp Head's still here. So, Annie, this is Percy. My cousin." She gestured towards him.

He rose his hand in an awkward attempt at waving.

"Well, I'll see you later." He said and ran off.

I stared back at his retreating figure.

A loud boom came from the back of the room.

I turned around, to see the scrawny Latino elf there with a contraption in his hands. He gave a sideways smile. I sighed.

This was going to be a long week.
