Chapter Twenty-One

Two weeks later…

It was finally moving day for Olivia and she couldn't be more excited. Over the past two weeks, Olivia had slowly brought things over to Fitz's house which was slowly becoming hers as well. Fitz had even started cleaning out a room just for Olivia to have her office. It was a sweet gesture that Liv really appreciated.

Fitz packed up the last box in the moving van they had rented out. Mira was at home with Katherine unpacking the small things. Abby and Stephen were taking some boxes in Abby's car.

"Okay I think that's the last of it. Are you ready to go?" Fitz asked as he wrapped his arms around Olivia's waist.

"Yeah I am. I'm ready to start this new chapter with you," she replied and gave him a peck on the lips.

"Okay lovebirds! Let's get this show on the road," Stephen said snapping them out of their bubble.

"Okay, okay let's get going."

Everyone went into their designated car and headed over to Fitz's house. Upon arriving, they were greeted by Mira who had run out of the house the minute she heard the van pull up.

"Mommy! Daddy!"

Liv got out of the car and picked Mira up. "Oh hey sweet pea! How's it going?"

"Grammy and I baked cookies for you."

"Oh those are going to be yummy! Let's get some stuff down and I'll go eat one, okay?"

"Okay!"

Liv set her down so she could go say hi to Fitz and the trio started grabbing things out of the van well Olivia and Fitz did while Mira "supervised."

"Daddy be careful!" Mira said while Fitz was bringing in a box of Liv's shoes into his room.

"Lovebug they're just shoes," he said as he set the box down in the walk-in closet.

"But they're mommy's shoes!"

Fitz laughed at Mira's stomp of her foot and pout on her face. His daughter and her dramatics.

"Come on sweetie. Let's go get some more boxes."

"You promise to be careful daddy."

"Yes I promise. Now let's get going before mommy gets mad that we are taking too long."

They went downstairs and found Olivia bringing in another box of shoes. Fitz had no idea Olivia had that many pairs of shoes but he definitely wasn't going to say anything. Having a baby sister has taught him never to comment on the amount of shoes a woman has.

"Hey baby can you take this upstairs please?" Liv handed her the box.

"Mommy, daddy wasn't being careful with your shoes," Mira said with her arms folded.

Olivia tried not to laugh at her antics but she had to give her credit, at least she was trying to keep Fitz in line.

"and here I thought you weren't going to say anything."

"You didn't say not to tell."

Now that made Olivia lose it and she started laughing.

"It's okay Mira. They're just shoes but thank you for making sure that daddy was being careful with my things."

"Your welcome mommy. Now daddy let's go."

Fitz chuckled and grabbed the box from Olivia's arms.

"Okay miss bossy pants let's go."

Olivia shook her head and laughed while she watched them go upstairs. She made her way to the room that was going to be her new office where Stephen and Abby were putting her desk together.

"Hey guys. Everything okay in here?"

"Hey Liv. Yeah we've gotten everything in here and the desk is almost finished. We would've finished earlier but this guy here doesn't like to read instructions."

"Okay Abby. You were right. Next time I'll listen to you and read the instructions."

"You better or else you can fix it alone next time."

Olivia chuckled and shook her head at the couple. There were still boxes she needed to open and go through but she would get to that later.

"Thanks for building the desk for me. That's one less thing that I have to do."

"No problem Liv. I'll even go through some of the boxes for you."

"I owe you one. I need to start upstairs and unpacking some of those boxes. I also need to save Fitz from Mira. She was being a bit bossy earlier."

"Sounds like someone I know," Abby said with a smirk on her face.

"Guess I can take a little credit," Olivia laughed.

"More like most of the credit," she gave her a playful shove.

"Okay most of the credit. Now I'll let you to finish up here and no having sex on that desk!"

"Way to ruin all the fun Olivia," Stephen said as Liv walked out of the room.

She could hear Abby telling Stephen to shut up and she laughed. She would never get tired of those two. They were opposites but they completely worked and it made her happy.

She made her way to Fitz's – well now her room too and she could hear Mira telling Fitz where to place the boxes. She knew she had to save him while she could before Fitz lost it.

"Hey Mira baby do you want to help me put things away in the bathroom?" she asked.

"Okay mommy," Mira said as she hopped off the step stool she was on. She let Mira run off to the bathroom while she walked over to Fitz.

"How's my other baby doing?" she asked and wrapped her arms around Fitz's waist.

"Mmm…better now," he responded after he gave Olivia a sweet kiss.

"I figured I should save you from Mira's bossiness."

"You figured right and I blame you for this."

"Me? What did I do?"

"She had to pick up that bossiness from somewhere."

"I guess I can't deny that, now get back to work mister! I believe there are a couple more boxes downstairs that need to be brought up here."

"You got it. Good luck with Mira," he said as he playfully patted her ass when he walked away.

She playfully rolled her eyes and went over to the bathroom to get started on putting things away.

Hours later majority of all the boxes were unpacked and everyone was in the kitchen eating pizza that Katherine had made for everyone.

"Thank you so much for dinner Mrs. Grant," Abby said.

"Oh you don't have to thank me. I enjoy being able to cook for everyone."

"and we greatly appreciate you cooking for us tonight. Don't worry about cleaning up either," Olivia responded back.

"Thank you. Now if you don't need anything from me, I need to go and check in on Charlie before it gets too late."

"No mom we got everything handled here. Let me walk you out," Fitz responded and helped her grab her bag.

Katherine said her goodbyes to everyone else and walked with Fitz to the door. Olivia and Abby started cleaning up while Stephen had gotten wrapped up in playing a game with Mira.

"Do you ever think about it?" Olivia asked.

"Think about what?"

"You know what," she said and gave her a look. She then looked over at Mira and Stephen who were laughing.

Abby sighed, "I have thought about it. I never thought of myself as someone who could be a mother but now with Stephen and being around Mira, I think I can see it happening…not any time soon but eventually in the future."

"Awe Abby, I love that for you! I just knew that it would take one special guy to change your mind."

"Yes you were but like I said it's not happening any time soon. We are appreciating our alone time," she said smirking.

"Speaking of which, watching him with Mira and working all day has me all hot and bothered."

"Oh TMI Abby! Get out of here before you really go at it on my desk."

The two of them laughed and finished up cleaning the kitchen. About thirty minutes later, Abby and Stephen were on their way out. Fitz had taken Mira upstairs for a bath while Olivia was saying goodbye to their guests.

"I can't thank you guys enough for helping out today. It saved us a lot of time."

"Don't worry about it! Let's grab dinner another day once you're all settled in, okay?" Abby said and gave Olivia one last hug before she left with Stephen.

Olivia made her way upstairs to check in on Fitz and Mira. Mira was already settled in her bed and it seemed like they were just waiting on Liv to finish up their night routine. She already had her book she wanted to read. Lately Olivia has been getting her to read on her own with help from her and Fitz, obviously but it was all about expanding her vocabulary.

Mira didn't last ten minutes into her book before she passed out from all of the day's activities. Fitz and Olivia placed gentle kisses on her forehead and quietly left her room. The two of them walked into their room and they couldn't believe they were finally in this place.

"Welcome home Livvie."

Fitz wrapped his arms around her waist and Liv leaned back into his embrace. It was a busy day for both of them and they were thankful they can finally spend a little time together.

"How about a nice warm bath for the two of us?" Fitz asked placing little kisses on Liv's neck.

"Mmm…that sounds really nice."

"Let's go then."

Fitz set up the bathroom while Olivia got undressed. This was just what the two of them needed. Olivia grabbed her robe and went into the bathroom where Fitz had lit some candles and had the lights dimmed.

"Babe this looks wonderful. Thank you for setting this up."

"You're welcome. Now let's get in before the water gets cold."

Fitz got in first followed by Olivia. He pulled her in closer and wrapped his arms around her; both of them just took a minute to just be with each other.

"What are you thinking about beautiful?"

"Nothing really just that I feel so thankful to be here with you and with Mira. You guys have become my world and I don't know what I would do if it all just ended."

"Baby this is it. It's never ending. You belong here with us."

They gently caressed each other. Some might say that their romance has been too much too soon but they both know that when it's right it's right and for them being together felt right.

"Now what are you thinking about mister?" she asked.

"I'm thinking about how we have to make your first official night here memorable," he responded as he started to move one hand down her stomach to her thighs and another to her breast.

Olivia's breath hitched. She will never get tired of feeling Fitz's hands on her body. She could feel him getting hard

"You feel what you do to me, Livvie?"

"Mmm…"

Fitz brushed his fingers along her folds and his other hand was gently flicking her nipple and massaging her breasts.

"Fitz…" She arched her back and he started sucking her neck. He pressed his thumb against her clit, pressing and rubbing against her swollen clit. He moved a finger into her gently before then adding second finger. Her breath hitched as pleasure shot through her.

Fitz could tell she was almost there so he pressed harder on her clit and moving his fingers in and out. She started to rock her hips against his fingers trying to get her to the edge. He flicked her clit one more time and her hips bucked against his fingers.

"Fuck…Fitz…so good…"

"You like that Livvie…You like my fingers in you…"

"yes please…I need to cum…"

He moved his fingers faster going deeper than before causing her breath to hitch as pleasure shot through her and she started to cum.

"That's it...let go…"

"Fuck…Fitz…" she cried out as she rode out her orgasm. Fitz slowed down his movements and just let her ride it out.

The water had now run cold but it didn't matter to either of them. Fitz pulled Olivia from the tub and carried her off their bed where they spent the night celebrating this new chapter in their lives.

It was Monday morning and the Grant-Pope household was in full swing. Olivia and Mira were already in the kitchen eating breakfast while Fitz was still getting ready. Now that Olivia had moved in full time, it gave Fitz a little extra time to get ready.

Olivia was reading over her lesson plan for the day. Since Olivia had moved in with Fitz, she let the principal know about their relationship. To ensure that her students didn't feel that Mira would be getting any preferential treatment, she would be moved to Quinn's classroom next door. While Mira wasn't happy about it, they had to explain it to her that it was for the best. Today would be her first day with Quinn and they hoped it would be a smooth transition.

"Good morning my beautiful girls," Fitz said when he walked into the kitchen.

"Morning daddy!" Mira walked over to him and puckered her lips wanting a kiss from her daddy. Fitz bent over and gave her a kiss.

"Hey baby. There's coffee in the coffee maker and your breakfast is in the microwave," Olivia said.

"Thanks. Are you guys leaving soon?"

"Yes we are. Mira honey can you go put on your shoes so we can leave."

"Okay mommy." Mira ran upstairs to her room to put on her shoes.

Olivia turned to Fitz who was sitting on the kitchen island.

"I'm making us a chicken casserole for dinner. Is that okay?"

"Yeah that's fine but you don't have to make dinner you know."

"I know but I get here before you do and it's not hard to do. I'll probably stop by the grocery store after school so text me if you need anything."

"Well I could use a kiss before you leave."

Olivia smirked and walked over to him. She put her arms around his shoulders and placed a kiss on his lips. Before they could get any further, Mira walked into the kitchen.

"Okay mommy. I'm ready!"

Fitz groaned into Olivia's neck. Always being cockblocked by my own daughter, he thought. Liv laughed and moved away from Fitz. She grabbed packed up her things and grabbed Mira's backpack.

"We'll see you see later Fitz. Have a good day at work. I love you."

"I love you guys too."

Mira gave Fitz once last hug before walking with Olivia to her car. Fitz heard the car pull out of the driveway and he smiled. This kind of morning was what he always dreamed about and now he finally has it. He looked at the clock and noticed it was time for him to get going as well. The faster the day went, the faster he would get to see his girls again.

Fifteen minutes later, Olivia and Mira were pulling into their school. Olivia could tell Mira was a bit nervous. She had already been used to her friends and the classroom environment that Olivia had set but unfortunately it was best to keep school and home separate.

"Okay Mira grab your backpack and let's go inside."

"Mommy is Ms. Quinn nice?"

"She's very nice and if you have any problems I am right next door okay?"

"Okay mommy. Let's go."

Both of them grabbed their things and got out of the car. Olivia walked Mira into Quinn's classroom and got her settled in before she went to her own to greet her students. For Olivia the day felt long already. Her little girl was on her mind and she can only hope that it will go well today.

It was time for recess and this was the first time she was seeing her daughter since she dropped her off this morning. Her little girl was already running around with what appeared to be her new friends. Mira looked over to Liv and started to run over to her.

"Hey mommy! I made new friends and I colored and Ms. Quinn let me read out loud and we worked on our letters and…"

"Woah honey slow down! It seems like you've already had a busy day. Go play and we can talk more later."

"Okay mommy. I love you."

Before Liv could respond, she ran over to her friends and continued to play. It warmed her heart to see her little girl running around and playing. She could now relax knowing that Mira was doing alright and still the happy little girl she knows and loves.

The rest of the day went quickly and before she knew it she was saying goodbye to her students and their parents. Mira was patiently waiting and coloring some pictures.

"Mira let's go. First we need to go to the grocery store and then we'll go home. Sound like a good plan?"

"Yes! Let's go!"

And with that the two of them were out the door. It took them about an hour before finally making it home, groceries in hand. Olivia got Mira to do her quick homework that Quinn had assigned and now it was time to cook dinner.

"Mira do you want to help?"

"Yes mommy!"

"Okay go wash up and you can help."

She took all the ingredients out to make the casserole. Olivia has Mira wash all the veggies for the salad while she chopped up the chicken. While it took almost double the time to prepare dinner, she was happy that they had these mother-daughter moments together. Mira never had a mother figure and while Katherine was around, it wasn't the same. She had those memories of cooking with her mom and she wanted to make sure she passed that down to her own daughter and now she had the chance.

"Mommy it smells so yummy!"

"I'm glad you think so now help me set the table. Your dad should be home soon."

"Okay!"

The table was quickly set and Liv saw Fitz had texted her saying he would be home in ten minutes. Perfect timing, she thought. The duo washed up and finally heard the front door open. Liv was still doing some last minute touches so Mira quickly ran downstairs without her. She could hear the two of them laughing and talking. She was so thankful this was her life now.

Fitz washed up and it was finally time for dinner. They all took turns talking about what was the best part of the day meaning Mira spent majority of the time recalling her day. It made Fitz and Olivia laugh. Both of them could say that this was going to be the best part of their day from here on out. This was their family and they wouldn't want it any other way.
