Stark industries

Zack sat up from the roof, they were there for like 10 minutes already and he was getting bored. "Okay, so we are here so now what?"

"We wait." Peter answered dryly, he was now wearing his iconic spider-man costume.

"That's all we do, wait?" Ivy jumped off of the small ledge of the second roof that was on the top of the building only 3 feet of the roof.

Peter looked back at them. "What were you expecting, it was a steak out. I have been doing these for like, ever, and it is boring, I would rather go home and get my homework done. but lots of the time I do it while I am waiting."

"How often do you sleep?" Zack asked, throwing a rock he found on the roof.

"Like never, honestly if there isn't a bounty on my head or aliens falling from the sky there is someone that is being robbed or hurt. I normally get home an hour before I have to go to school."

Ivy bit her lip. "Wow, um… Wait there they are." She reached up and pointed, passing the binoculars to Carmen. And Peter zoomed in with his lenses.

It seemed like they had successfully broken in.

"Guys we better get over there now." Carmen warned before she jumped off of the building that they were camping on and opened a glider. As Spider-man had started winging. Leaving Zack and Ivy behind on the roof

They both landed on the roof and went in the same way the operatives went in. Peter crawled across the wall scanning the room. And called out surprised. "There are no ark reactors in here." His Spider-sense started going off, "Somethings wrong we need to leave." Peter turned around to see all the windows slam shut with steel panel, and a voice came over the speakers in the room.

"Precisely." Tigress's voice rang out. "While you are distracting the security system we will get our prize." She gloated.

Carmen turned to Peter. "How did they trick us? we saw them come in."

Peter jumped onto the roof and crawled around the now bolted window and paused for a second. "They didn't come in!"

Carmen raised her eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"There are cameras all around this place and I betcha-"

He ripped a panel off of a security camera on the wall and started to rearrange some wires. Just then a holographic recording played. Tigress and El Chevre had both jumped through the window, climbed down without touching the floor, and climbed back out.

Peter shook his head and started explaining. "Starks cameras use holographic recordings so they can see what happened in the room better. They hacked into the cameras and played the outer holographic recording off of the smog outside. They were here but they already left."

Carmen sighed. "And how do we get out?"

"Can I borrow your glider?" He paused. "And no you won't get it back in one piece."

Carmen gave him the glider, and he snapped one of the metal polls over his leg. And pulled out the long rim of the glider.

Peter then walked over and coated Carmen's hands in webbing.

"I need you to hold that side of the poll to that wire. You can get up there using this." He shot a web to the roof making a rope.

Carmen smirked. "I got this." She took a Grapple hook out and shot it to the roof ignoring the web he shot, and did as Spider-man asked.

Peter moved the poll and attached It to a piece of thermal webbing and the control planal. The controls made a snapping sound and started smoking.

"Well, that was anticlimactic." She chuckled.

Peter jumped up back to the place they got in and pried the metal doors apart.

They both got out safely but the operatives were long gone.

Carmen ran over to their friends. "Did you see them?"

Ivy sighed. "Yes, they got the reactor. We tried calling you, but you were not responding."

Zack nodded. "Ya just static."

"Ugg that's twice they have beaten me, I still have a scar from the last time!" Peter growled as punched a concrete wall and it split in two. The others backed up not realizing how strong he really was until now.

Player piped up through the comms. "Peter it is fine, we can still stop them, they have one more place to hit. The only problem is we don't know what they want and where they will get it. But we still have another day."

Peter sighed, shaking his head. "You are right but I have to figure out what they are getting first." He pinched the bridge of his nose.

"And then we can steal it first." Carmen added.

Peter gave her a side glance. "And give it back, right?"

Carmen rolled her eyes. "Yes."

"Okay, I am going to go back and catch a couple of muggers and then find out what they are going to to try and steal." He turned away to the edge of the building. "So see you at school tomorrow?"

Ivy smiled. "I guess so, we got nothing better to do."

Peter nodded and jumped off the building shooting out a web to catch himself.

The next day.

Ivy ran up to Peter who was walking through the halls. "Hey Peter, you find out anything?"

Peter shook his head and let out an exhausted sigh. "No, I was up all night. Ugg what would they need with an amplified reactor besides power?"

MJ walked up to them holding her book bag.

"Hey Peter, June, Sherman." She called out waving.

Peter looked over at her. "That's not their names."

MJ turned to look at Peter with a confused look on her face. "Pardon?"

Zack whipped around and threw his hands up in the air. "Dude!"

"Also they know." Peter continued.

MJ squinted a bit. "Man really? And what do you mean those aren't their names?"

"Tell you later."

Ivy spoke up. "You mean, she knows who you are?"

Peter nodded

MJ looked back and forth between the siblings. "I found out after green goblin threw me off of Brooklyn bridge."

Zack shook his head. "Wait, you were really thrown off a bridge. I thought Peter was exaggerating."

MJ shook her head.

"Well are you guys coming to that new exhibit this afternoon."

Peter whipped his head around to face her. "What exhibit?"

She pulls out her phone and pulls up a news post.

"The lotus dragon."

Peter takes the phone and looks closely at the report.

Peter's eyes widened. "Guys, I know what they are going to steal next. MJ make up an excuse for me, I need to go."

Peter passed her back her phone and she nodded, she ran down the hall and the others left in a hurry following Peter still not knowing what was happening.
