The two decided to travel, down the dark, empty hallways to the kitchen, where they seated themselves by one of the cold, stone walls
With a somber look upon his face, Funky Kong asks Daisy if she is ok, to which she replies, through tears, and with a tremble in her voice: "I am fine..." Diddy Kong enters the room and stares at the two with confusion in his eyes. After a moment, Funky Kong assures Diddy Kong that everything is ok, with a doubtful tone.
He slowly exits the room, still confused. The two decide to travel back to the room, for the kitchen was bare, and food was nowhere to be found. Interrupting their slow steps through the empty halls, a blanket of realization settles upon them like a fog. Funky Kong looked at Daisy with a smile and hugged Daisy tighter, showing his care. Daisy whispered, "I l-l love you Funky!" He wept and whispered back, "I know...".
With a grim smile, Funky Kong embraced Daisy, trying to show his care, yet it feels ungenuine, given the circumstance. In a sudden flash of remembrance, Daisy stopped crying, her face saturated in shock, and
urged Funky to the living room.
Now the memory was complete. Daisy remembered the countless years of Mario's abuse that happened here. Frozen and in bitter remembrance, Daisy burst into tears. Funky Kong stood confused and quickly tried to calm the weeping Daisy as she fell to the floor in tears. His attempts proved to be unsuccessful and decided to leave her be for a moment so she could regain herself. Funky just walked into the hallway and let Daisy calm herself. Daisy calmed herself a little bit and walked over to Funky Kong, and they walked outside in the calm windy mist of the day.
Daisy said softly to Funky, "Funky, I remember the bikes that we used to take to the restaurant we used to date at..."
The bikes were Funky Kong's Platinum Flame Runner and Daisy's golden Mach Bike.
"I remember it too, Daisy. The times we've had with these vehicles, all gone! These vehicles are nothing but memories now."
Tears fell down Funky's eyes as he stared at the paralyzed vehicles.
"I want you to remember this, Daisy. I do not inquire to lose you at any cost, you are mine and, you will never be forgotten". Funky said softly.
Daisy whispered, "I love you too, Funky. You are my prize, companion, and my sunrise and sunset."
Funky started crying and Hugged Daisy.
"It's okay Funky, there there. SHHHhhhhhhhhh.
Funky let go of Daisy and started sniffling loudly.
Funky Kong and Daisy went inside and slept on the couch until 3:30 am and played Mario kart WII.
