Opening Credits

Scene: Rich's Parents house

Rich walk in.

Rich: Mom are you here?

Cheryl (Rich's Mom): Hey son. What are you doing here?

Rich: Just came for a visit.

Cheryl: Well, its great to see you. We need to catch up.

Rich: Where's dad?

Cheryl: I have no idea

Rich: everything okay

Cheryl: not really, but we can talk about that later.

Rich: okay

Cheryl: I would like to know why I haven't met your girlfriend.

Rich: we have been very busy.

Cheryl: You have been together for over a year.

Rich: True

Cheryl: So I assume you love her. Don't you think you should bring her to meet me?

Rich: I promise we will come over sometime soon.

Meanwhile back at JT & Rich's apartment

JT: see what you did

Dana: me? It wasn't just me. He left because we cant get along.

JT: Well you annoy me.

Dana: Seriously what's your problem?

JT: I just think he can do better then you.

That statement makes Dana storm out & run upstairs.

Cody sees this & goes to see what happened.

Cody: JT what did you just do?

JT: nothing

Cody: Really, because Dana just ran out of here crying. Rich isn't here so it wasn't something that happened with him.

JT: I just don't see what he sees in her.

Cody: Seriously, have you see the way he looks at her?

JT: yeah, so what.

Cody: I told you if you said something stupid then you were going to mess up your friendship with Rich. You just upset Dana. Unless, you fix it, Rich may come back, find out what you said & your friendship will be over.

JT: he wouldn't do that

Cody: Don't be so sure about that.

JT: I am his best friend. He would choose her ove be would he?

Cody: well, what did you say to her?

JT: um….well….I told her Rich could do better then her. (Starts to feel bad)

Cody: wow…and what was the reason Rich left again? He left because he is tired of you and Dana at least not trying to get along and now you probably just made it worse.

Scene: Rich's Parents

It is around time. Rich is laying in his bed. He hears the front door open. Then he hears agruing.

Cheryl: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

Nick: out

Cheryl: you were will HER weren't you?

Nick: So what if I was.

Cheryl: You said you were going to end that and work on our relationship.

Nick: Yeah, well, I changed my mind.

Cheryl: Well, I knew you were lying so I filed for divorce. You are not worth it anymore.

Nick: whatever, I will sign the papers. I don't want to be with you anymore. It was a mistake in the first place.

Cheryl hands him the papers. He signs them.

Cheryl: I will file these on Monday. I want you to get your shit and get out by the end of the weekend. Move in with your new girlfriend.

Nick: Fine I will!

Rich comes out of his bedroom. Nick sees him.

Nick: Hey son. Didn't know you were here.

Rich: Dad (Gives him a evil look)

Nick: I assume you heard everything?

Rich: Yes, I did. How could you?

Nick: Look sometimes you just choose the wrong person and realize the mistake years later.

Rich: So you cheat on her instead of making an adult decision and just get a divorce before you hurt her?

Nick: hey, I am a man. I have needs.

Rich: your also an asshole.

Nick: When you get married you will understand.

Rich: how? When I get married I will never do anything this stupid. Why don't you just leave & go see your new girlfriend. Also, you do realize that by saying marrying Mom was a mistake means that so was I. So I never want to see you again. Whenever, I get married you will not be invited to the wedding.

Rich goes over to Cheryl.

Rich: Mom, are you ok

Cheryl: It will be ok

Rich: lets go to dinner. Get your mind off of him.

Cheryl: I am so glad you are nothing like him.

Rich to Nick: You need to be gone by the time we get back. You have about 2 hours. Bye Nick.

Cheryl grabs her purse & they leave.

Scene: The girls bedroom

Dana is laying on her bed crying.

Al: Dana what's wrong?

Dana: Rich is went to his parents' because JT and me can't stop bickering. Then JT said that Rich could do better then me.

Al: What? Don't listen to JT he is a moron. Rich loves you.

Dana: What if JT convinces Rich & he breaks up with me? I don't think I can handle that.

Al: That's crazy. Yes, sometimes Rich listens to JT about stupid stuff but that would never happen.

Dana: I just wish Rich would come back.

Al: I know. It will be okay.

She gives her a hug then goes to find Frank. She finds him in the living room

Al: Dad. We have a problem.

Frank: What would that be?

Al: JT said something idiotic to Dana.

Frank: what did he do now?

Al: After Rich left to go to his parents, JT told Dana that Rich could do better then her. She is upstairs crying right now.

Frank: He said what? Hey, why don't you take Karen and Dana to dinner. Try to get her mind off of it.

He goes to Rich and JTs apartment

Frank: JT what is your problem?

JT: Dad, I already know what I said was stupid. I just don't know how to fix it.

Frank: well, you better figure it out.

Scene: A resturant

Rich & Cheryl are there. Dana, Al & Karen walk in.

Rich: Mom what are you going to do about Dad?

Cheryl: Well, he agreed to sign the divorce papers. So I guess he will be moving out.

Rich: Are you okay?

Cheryl: I will be. There is nothing I can do about it.

Rich: I will be right back.

He goes to the bathroom. On his way back he doesn't see the girls. He goes back by his Mom.

Back at the girls table.

Al: Dana, you usually don't let what JT says bother you.

Dana: I know but I am just a little worried that what he said is true.

Karen: Dana, that's crazy.

Dana: I hope so. I will be right back.

She goes to the bathroom.

Al & Karen continue talking. As they are talking Karen sees Rich & his Mom. (She doesn't know she's his Mom)

Karen: Um Al. We may have a bigger problem. Looks over there. (Points to Rich & his Mom)

Al sees them.
Al: Okay Karen last time we jumped to conclusions & overreacted. Let's not do that this time. Plus my guess that's his Mom, since they look alot alike.

Karen: well, let's go find out.

She heads over there.

Al: wait Karen….. (She follows her)

Rich sees them as they approach the table.

Rich: Al, Karen, what are you doing here?

Al: first, who is this?

Cheryl: I am his Mom.

Al: See, Karen I told you.

Rich: Really, again?

Cheryl: So Rich which of these lovely ladies is your girlfriend.

Al & Karen: eeeewww

Rich: Thanks, girls. Neither Mom. Rich is Al & Karen, Dana's sisters. So girls what are you doing here?

Al: well, let's just saying JT is a moron.

Rich: what happened?
