EPOV
Bella and I were settling on the couch getting ready to watch a movie. I grabbed the remote from the coffee table and pulled her head into my lap so that her legs stretched out across the rest of the class.
She glanced up at me and smiled. I started to movie and gently ran my fingers threw her hair smiling when her heart picked up speed. We were halfway through the movie when her heart slowed, her breath evened, and her eyes fluttered closed.
My breath hitched and I was once again struck by how good it felt to have her sleeping in my arms. I didn't move an inch-except for my hand that was running steadily threw her hair-knowing not to move in case I awoke my entire world. I simply couldn't wake her, she was just to precious in this moment. I could stay like this forever...never moving.
Right now-like all other times-I am her protector and she is my angel. I felt a serge of pride, she was comfortable enough to sleep in my stone like arms, feeling safe here because of me.
I smiled softly still stroking her chocolate brown locks. Her face was lit with a smile of her own.
She is my life...and I am her protector.
