Anison is a small planet with a pink moon and purple sky overlooking tall crops that stand taller than a human. There is some rustling of the crops that grows closer and closer until Anakin and Obi-Wan pop out into the clearing.

"I do not see our ships," Obi-Wan groans.

"I swear I left them here, Master Obi-Wan," Anakin looks around and turns back toward the field, "Or they could be farther East."

"I trusted you with them while I was settling negotiations."

"Well,... you did settle the negotiations. This system will not join the Seperatists. Isn't that a victory?"

"It is, Anakin... provided we live to talk about it."

"I didn't expect Soergg the Hutt to send bounty hunters after us."

"There are many people trying to profit from the disputes happening all over the Galaxy."

"Why didn't we arrest Soergg when we had the chance?"

"Due Process, Anakin. There was not enough evidence to prove he had a hand in any of this."

Two armored bounty hunters fly overhead on speeder bikes. They pass the Jedi, then turn to face them with their speeder-blasters ready. "Although there might be plenty of evidence now," Obi-Wan sighs. Anakin and Obi-Wan ignite their lightsabers (Obi-Wan still carrying the saber from his former master). The bounty hunters fly toward them, firing with the Jedi deflecting the blasts. Obi-Wan deflects the blast into one speeder, blowing it up and sending the bounty hunter flying into the field behind them. Anakin, deflects a blast that hits the pilot but sends the speeder spinning out of control. Anakin leaps at the last second as the speeder plows into the field behind him, digging a trench through the crops before it explodes. Anakin lands on his feet and Obi-Wan gives him a frustrated look after glancing back at the partially destroyed field.

"Natural resources, Anakin," Obi-Wan tells him.

He appears embarrassed, "Sorry, Master," then he turns to a hill nearby, "Oh, the ships are this way."

He runs in that direction and Obi-Wan chuckles to himself as he follows. They both race through another field with the crops overlooking them. "I'm sensing someone following us," Anakin whispers. "I sense it too," Obi-Wan tells him. They immediately drop just as several blaster bolts rips through the field. A bounty hunter holds twin blasters as he comes through the field to the clearing he just made. He looks down, but sees no signs of the Jedi. He carefully ducks back into the field in search for his prey. He hears some rustling in the field, turns, and fires a blast which burns through another patch, but once again, there is no sign. Obi-Wan silently creeps up behind him and pinches a nerve in his neck, which renders him unconscious. He then turns his attention to the field, "... Anakin?" There is no answer.

A moment later, a strong wind blows through the crops as a bounty hunter ships lowers toward Obi-Wan with its canons aimed squarely at him. Before it can fire, it suddenly explodes as fighter blaster bolts hit it from the side. Anakin's fighter lowers toward Obi-Wan, followed by a second fighter with an astro droid piloting. "Found the ship," Anakin shouts from the cockpit. Obi-Wan shakes his head in disbelief and approaches his ship. Not long after that, the twin fighters leave the system.

"Your battle skills are second to none, Anakin," Obi-Wan tells him over communications, "We only have to work on your negotiation tactics. That way, you can join the peace talks."

"Etiquette is not my strong suit, Master," he chuckles a bit, "Perhaps you can bring a protocol droid with you for the next diplomatic mission."

"Very funny, my young padawan. There is more to being a Jedi than adventure and excitement."

"Is there?"

Yoda's hologram flashes on Obi-Wan's console, "Master Kenobi. Urgent news have I."

"Yes, Master Yoda?"

"An assassination attempt on Senator Amidala has been made."

"Is she okay, Master Yoda," Anakin asks.

"Alive she is but free from danger she is not. To Corsucant, you must go immediately."

On Corsucant, the sun is setting over the Senate building. Anakin and Obi-Wan ride an elevator to Padme's apartment.

"The moment we finish one mission, another begins," Anakin sighs, "The situation with the Seperatists seems to be escalating. I fear the worst is yet to come."

"I share your concern," Obi-Wan notices Anakin fixing his robe and smoothing his hair, "... You seem a little on edge."

"Not at all, Master."

"I haven't seen you this tense since we fell into that nest of gundarks."

"You fell into that nightmare, Master, and I rescued you. Remember?"

"Oh… yes," they both have a brief chuckle, "You're sweating. Relax."

"I haven't seen her in ten years, Master."

The elevator opens and they make their way down the corridor to Padme's quarters. Just outside the door, Captain Panak keeps watch; he politely nods to the Jedi as they go through the door. Padme is in the living room with Bail Organa.

"It's a great pleasure to see you again, M'Lady," Obi-Wan bows to her.

"It has been far too long Master Kenobi."

"Padme," Anakin smiles, then corrects himself, "I mean Queen Amidala," then corrects himself again, "... Senator Amidala."

"Anakin, it's so good to see you. I've missed you...," she nearly goes in for a hug then straightens up, "... Uh, congratulations on your apprenticeship. I'm sure you'll reach the status of a Jedi Knight soon."

"I will. Very soon," he smiles sheepishly, which gets a curious look form Obi-Wan.

Bail steps in front of Padme and gives Anakin a stern look, "I am Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan. I've been here, keeping guard until you arrived."

"You've given me far too much attention," Padme says with a wry smile, "Captain Panaka has been stationed outside my apartment."

"You're too important to the Senate... and preventing this war."

"Senator,... It's a pleasure to meet you," Anakin appears a bit jealous.

"Thank you for your vigilance, Senator Organa" Obi-Wan walks him out of the chambers, "We do not wish to keep you from your duties in the Senate."

"It's great to see the two of you again, but I don't need more security," Padme tells Abakin once they're alone, "I need answers. I want to know who is trying to kill me."

"We will find out who is trying to kill you Padme, I promise you."

"...Unfortunately, we are here to protect, not start an investigation," Obi-Wan rejoins them now that Bail has left in the elevator.

"Is it possible we could look into the matter further as an act of protection?," Anakin asks.

"Not unless the Council decides otherwise."

Anakin appears annoyed but bites his lip.

"Perhaps with merely your presence, the mysteries surrounding this threat will be revealed," Padme tells them, "Now if you will excuse me I will retire." They give her a slight bow as she leaves the room.
