Steve has always been single, of course, he had relationships every now and then, but nothing serious,and then he got bored and stick to one night stands. He, along with tony ,Sam, Bucky and peggy carter were best friends, and the eligible bachelors in New York, They were all friends from childhood , as Tony and Bucky was also a child of a wealthy family as he is, they understood each other in a way that, only brothers would,of course tony being tony was as unbearable pain in the ass as he was, where as Peggy, being his childhood crush, was a famous designer in new York
Joseph Rogers, his father, was a very old fashioned man. He can't tolerate Steve being uncontrollable and going out with girls, he thinks, this will affect there reputation. He even suggested for marriage, but of course, Steve declined saying he'll leave the family and all, and he couldn't have that happen, now, can he, so he thought some thing else
Natasha being a very cheerful and easy going person,has a very beautiful life, she has her ups and downs,but that doesn't mean that she'll leave everything, with a positive attitude and pure heart, she'll defeat anything that comes in her way. She loves spending time with her friends,as they were her only family, everyone of her friends loves spending time with each other, so they decided that they would met, whenever they had time and promised that, they will make time.
She had recently moved to New York, in search for a job, hoping that she would get a one based on her study. Fortunately, her friend Maria had told her that, they were hiring new people for the secretary post, where she work, in a huge company,and working along with her friend would be very helpful, so, she applied for the job
She was called for an interview, she had to go shopping,for some formals, she and along with maria went, and looked almost everything in the market, and bought some clothes and groceries, finally called it a night
"Tomorrow is a big day, for you nat, be prepared" maria said sighing and debating in her mind, Natasha spending years and years with her, understood that something was off
"What's bothering you?" She gave her a concern look, with one eyebrow raised, maria once again sighed"Steve Rogers is a bad news, I don't want, you to be associated with him...I...just..." She sighed once again
This made Nat laugh, "are you serious, you think, that I don't know, mari come on" she said shaking her head at her friend, "yah I know, you know that, I know right, but I don't want any trouble for you, your like, not like, you are my sister Nat, I can't..."
"Hey, where is that though nut maria, that I'm used to...OK listen, I can manage myself, and if anything goes wrong, I have you and Clint, to take care of me, right"Nat said, smiling at her friend and maria once again sighed"alright, you won, but if anything happence, I'm going to break his nose" maria gave a Waring with her motherly tone, which Nat loves so much"yes madam" Nat said, saluting at her friend, they both laughed looking at eachother
They were so many people, waiting for the interview and Nat was a bit late, so she rushed to the interview,
By the time she had reached, she was the next one up, soon to be called. So, she had forced herself to be relax and calm down, taking deep breaths, and she was called...
At her house, maria was waiting for her, to come home, as Nat left early, she has extra key of the house so she entered. Where is she, why is she taking so long, did they not appoint her, oh...God, that can't happen, if they don't,the Nat will feel...she was lost in her thoughts,when she heard the door opeing, jumping to her feet, she quickly she made her way to the door, seeing Nat she let out a breath,"where have you been, Nat I was worried sick " she said as she gave, Nat a hug "chill Mari, I just, went for sine fresh air, that's it" Nat said giveing her a worried look, it's not like, maria is a tension taking person, but, why Now
"What happened, are you hired" maria asked quickly, she as can't take it anymore
Sighing"no not yet, they said, they will call me, and I highly doubt it, anyway, did you had something" Nat was very tired and wanted change the topic
"Cut the Formality's, will you " maria said, sighing, revealed that, she, not have to broke any one's nose
"Maria, seeing you like this, makes me..."Nat stoped, smiling at maria, she gives her a Waring look, backing away from the devil
"No...no...naty, don't even think about it" they ran around the room, laughing
Maria was away from her, hiding and looking for Nat, a smile on her face, given that can, nat can come from anywhere
Suddenly, Nat came from the back, and jumped at maria, sending her to the floor, and tickling her, maria was caught off guard and was now laughing, her lungs out, they both stayed on the floor, for some time, trying to catch their breathe"I'll take my revenge, redy" Maria said laughing at her friend"good luck with that, darling" natasha said, making her way to her room laughing
Next day, they waited for some time, for the message or call, but none came sighing maria went to her work, leaving Nat alone and her phone went off and seeing the I'd, a smile crept to her face...

"Hello their, what's up"
Clint sighed,which made her smile more
"What are you doing today red,"
"Nothing, for now, why" she asked, thinking where this was going to be
"Well, if you have nothing to do, then why don't you, join me for lunch"
Nat gave it, a thought, but accepted anyway...
Clint came to pick her up, she refused, but he insisted, and she couldn't say no
They hugged each other and talked about, what's was going on with their life, taking a small walk, comfortable in each other's company
"So, did you get the job" clint asked, looking at her, in eyes
"No...not now, Clint, let us enjoy, and no taking about work, alright" she said in a serious tone
Clint sighed, but nodded his head, seriously what's with all the sighing...Nat thought looking at him
"OK, no job taking, tell me, how is New York" he asked looking forward, smiling, she was also looked forward, they were best friends for a decad, no need for words, to understand, how the other one was feeling, they can tell by looking at their face
"life is very good, New York is amazing, the places, people, everything here, is wonderful and full of life
Suddenly, they heard, some people chasing and shouting after a man, who was running from other side of the road
"Theif...theif...someone help,"they said as they made their way, after him.
Natasha and clint sprung in to action, trying to catch the theif, "Nat, you go from that side," Clint said as he, made his way, towards the group of people
Nat, caught up and went, towards the direction, being fast, has it's advantage, she caught the theif, who tryed to runway, from her grip. She turned him, towards her and punched, him on the face and ribes, by that time, clint had reached her and took him, away from her grip and beat him up. Everyone witnessed this, and priced them, for their good work
"You're late"Nat was smirking at him, as she taunt him
"Well, whatever, your on time, and he was caught, and that's all we want, right" Clint said shaking his hand, back and forth, to make the pain subside
This just, felt like their college days, how they would, stand up for eachother and for there friends
Little did they know, some one was watching, the entire scene unfold, and smirking to himself
