Fishlegs was dancing with Heather.

Hiccup finished asking his father to train him and Astrid to fight like knights. When he returned to Astrid's chair to see her gone, he finds Fishlegs dancing with a girl and walks over to him and ask "where's Princess Astrid?"

Fishlegs smiles "she was going to the bathroom and Snotlout said he would escort her back here."

Hiccup's eyes widened "I got a bad feeling and I think Astrid is in danger."

Fishlegs curious ask "why do you think Astrid isn't safe with Snotlout?"

Hiccup scowls "I saw him talking with two boys and they were glancing back at Astrid with a suspicious grins on their faces. I'm going to go look for her. Tell no one."

Fishlegs turns back to Heather and continues to dance with her.

Hiccup left the Ball Room and headed down a corridor where the bathroom would be down, when he meets Snotlout and sternly asks "where's Astrid?"

Snotlout curious ask "you lost the princess?"

Hiccup sternly says "Astrid ask Fishlegs to escort her to the bathroom and you told him that a girl wanted to dance with him! Now where's PRINCESS ASTRID?!"

Snotlout smirks "you lost the princess. Looks like I'm winning the bet! Say goodbye to Astrid!"

Hiccup's face changes into a deathly scowl "Where. Is. Princess. Astrid?"

Snotlout cowards under Hiccup's scowl and says "she told me she wanted to go to the Dining Hall to eat in peace."

Hiccup leaves heading to the Dining Hall.

When he arrives in the Dining Hall, he finds Astrid sitting in a chair sleeping and laughs "she fell asleep after eating."

He turns the chair to see her hands taped to the arm rest of the chair and gasped "Astrid?!"

Astrid opens her eyes to see Hiccup standing there and ask "where am I?"

Hiccup smiles and takes a knife and frees her hands. Astrid gets up and lunges at him wrapping her arms around his back and nuzzles his neck "I was scared when a pair of hands grabbed me and covered my mouth and nose causing me to pass out unconscious."

Hiccup wraps his arms around her waist and holds her close to him."

They return to the Ball Room.

King Alistair scowls at them "it seems you are not the best choice for guard leader to protect my daughter."

Hiccup gaped "what do you mean?"

Alistair scowls "Snotlout seen you walk away from your post to stand beside my daughter. And then your guard member escort my daughter to the bathroom and leaves her there!"

Astrid yells "FATHER!"

Alistair stops talking.

Queen Ingrid rest a hand on his arm "I think there's more to the story."

Hiccup sighs "Sire, who told you that Fishlegs left Astrid in the bathroom unprotected?"

Alistair grumbles "Snotlout Jorgenson."

Hiccup looks at the crowd and yells "SNOTLOUT JORGENSON! FRONT AND CENTER NOW!"

Snotlout steps in front of the crowd.

Hiccup sternly says "Sire, I walked away from my post to ask my father to train me and your daughter in sword fighting incase she finds herself in danger and I'm not around to defend her."

Stoick smiles proudly "he ask me to train him and your daughter to fight with swords."

Hiccup continues "I ask Fishlegs to take my place because I don't trust my cousin with your daughter and early I saw him talking to two boys and were giving your daughter a suspicious grin like planning to hold her against her will, which I found your daughter taped to a chair in the Dining Hall."

Alistair ask "Snotlout Jorgenson! Who were those two boys, you were talking to?!"

Snotlout cowards "Thuggory Tete De Carne and Dogsbreath. They were only to hold her captive for two hours until useless here proves that he can't protect your daughter!"

Alistair scowls "you plan for those two boys to hold my daughter captive for two hours?! That's cause for death planning a princess kidnapping!"

Hiccup sticks up his hand to stop him "I don't want him hanged, but I prefer he spend three days in the dungeon with those two boys and he's expelled from guard program."

Snotlout smirks "good luck with that, useless, you may be our boss but you don't have the authority to kick me off guard program!"

Astrid turns to Snotlout and says "your expelled from the guard program and take him and those two boys to the dungeon for three days!"

Snotlout gaped "what?"

Astrid walks up to him and says "one more thing" and slaps him hard.

Snotlout rubs his cheek after being slapped by the Princess.

Alistair yells "guards arrest him, Thuggory Tete De Carne and Dogsbreath of the island of Berk!"

Knights arrest him, Thuggory Tete De Carne and Dogsbreath.

Alistair looks at Hiccup and says "it seems you can't protect my daughter from danger."

Astrid scowls "father! He came to my rescue after Snotlout lied to Fishlegs! And it was my choice to make him leader of guard program to protect me, so it should be my choice to denounce him as leader of guard program which I'm not and I think he's a good boyfriend for me."

Alistair scowls "daughter! Hiccup can't be leader of your guard protector and you are too young to have a boyfriend!"

Astrid smiles "actually, my type of boyfriend since I'm almost three years old is going on dates, bonding with each other, go to the village to see things like fireworks or dance celebrations, go see art paintings, stuff like that."

Ingrid smiles "if that is stuff you would like to do with Hiccup, I don't see a problem with that."

Alistair looked at his wife "fine then, as long as your brother goes with you two on these dates to make sure you two don't do anything foolish."

Astrid sighs in irritation "fine. But at night, we have our hot chocolate date alone to watch the stars and pick out constellations in the sky."

Alistair tells everyone to head to guest chambers or the local inn in the village."

Astrid takes Hiccup with her to her room to watch the stars and pick out constellations while drinking hot chocolate.

Queen Ingrid and Valka walk in Princess Astrid's room to see Astrid asleep next to Hiccup on her bed.

Valka smiles "think it would be okay if he sleeps in here for the night?"

Ingrid smiles "not at all."

They leave the two asleep and walk to their respective rooms to sleep for the night.

After they left Astrid's chamber, Astrid started having a nightmare from being tapped to a chair and kidnapped by Snotlout. She started shaking and freaking out.

Hiccup stirred from his sleep to see Astrid freaking out and wraps his arm around her back and drawing her close to him.

She nuzzles her head into his neck and calming down, falling back to sleep.

Next morning, Astrid woke up from her sleep to see a warm chest next to her and lifts her head to see Hiccup sleeping with his arms around her back and blushes at their position and nuzzles into his chest more, not wanting to get up.

Hiccup stirs to being nuzzle to see Astrid nuzzling his chest and tightens his arms around her back, going back to sleep.

An hour and a half later, Queen Ingrid walks into her daughter's chamber to see her daughter nestled in Hiccup's arms and smirks "daughter, your father would blow the roof because of how you two are sleeping together."

She taps their shoulders to wake them up.

Hiccup moans "what?"

Astrid mumbles "no, want to sleep more in warmth."

Ingrid laughs and shakes their shoulders "time to wake up little ones."

Hiccup and Astrid opened their eyes and look to the voice to see Queen Ingrid standing off to the side of the bed.

Astrid sighs, tired and ask "what time is it?"

Ingrid smiles "it's an hour and a half after sunrise and I'm curious as to how you two ended up in that position?"

Hiccup rubs his eyes "I believe Astrid started having a nightmare and I just wrapped my arms around her back bringing her closer to me and went back to sleep."

Ingrid escort Hiccup back to his chamber on the other end of the castle.

Astrid change out of her clothes and put on fresh ones. She sighs blissfully at the memory of sleeping in Hiccup's arms after having a nightmare over Snotlout planning to hold her captive to prove Hiccup couldn't protect her.

She wonders what her father would think of if he found out that Hiccup slept next to her all night, when she needed him. "Maybe me and Hiccup have a closer bond between us that we don't know what to call this bond."

She walks out of her chamber and heads to the Dining Hall to have breakfast with her family.

Daniel smiles "nice to see you finally woke up. Started dreaming about Hiccup already?"

Astrid blushes at the memory of Hiccup spending the whole night in her bed with her.

Daniel and their father now wear a curious look on their faces.

Alistair ask "daughter, why are you blushing red?"

Astrid shyly says "uh promise not to get mad at me or him?"

Daniel gaped "he slept in your bed?! Are you out of your mind, baby sister?!"

Astrid whines "I had a nightmare!"

Alistair curious ask "you had a nightmare last night?"

Astrid nods her head "and he just wrapped his arms around me and I sorta snuggle into his warmth."

Ingrid walked into the Dining Hall and sat down in her chair and smiles "Astrid, daughter, I don't think you should make a habit of having young Hiccup sleeping next to you in your bed. Me and Valka thought you would probably have a nightmare after being traumatized by those two boys and figure that you see Hiccup as a security blanket to make you feel safe."

Astrid blushes at Hiccup being referred as her security blanket.

After eating breakfast Alistair left to go talk with his advisors about problems with the castle.

Ingrid left to go check on the maids and servants.

Daniel and Astrid left to go play with Hiccup, Fishlegs, Ruffnut and Tuffnut, Dagur and Heather.

Daniel saw Hiccup and whispered in his ear "I know you snuggle with my baby sister and if you get inappropriate with her, me and my father will send you away to protect her from you."

Hiccup nervously replies "I would never do anything to her."

Daniel scowls "I don't care! Your her personal protector! Nothing else, you will never be her boyfriend or husband, if me and my father have any say in it!"

Hiccup backs away from him and says "fine then, if that is how you feel, then I don't want to see you anymore! I have training to do" and walks off in the opposite direction of where Astrid and their friends are.

Daniel talks with the group.

Hiccup left the castle and walked down to the stables to see Fury.

Three hours go by, Hiccup groom Fury's coat.

Valka, his mother walked inside the Stables to see her son brushing his coat "I thought I strictly told you not to come here without adult supervision?"

Hiccup whimpers "I wanted to be alone. And I didn't want to see the royal family anymore today or for a while."

Valka's face turns worry and ask "Hiccup what happened?"

Hiccup sheds a tear "Daniel told me that if I got inappropriate with Astrid, he and his father would send me away from Astrid. And they wouldn't let me date her if she wants too or even marry her, if she ask me to marry her."

Valka curious ask "why didn't you come tell me or Queen Ingrid?"

Hiccup whimpers "because I just wanted to be alone now."

Valka grabs him by his arms and hugs him tightly.

She watch her son feed Fury, apples as a treat.

The sun started setting, so Hiccup put Fury in the stall.

Valka carried Hiccup in her arms back to the castle.

She arrives at her chamber and gives him a shower.

After that, she takes him to the kitchen and orders him food for dinner.

Stoick walked through the door to see Valka eating dinner with Hiccup and ask "Hiccup, where have you been all day? Astrid has been wondering why you left after talking to her brother and he told her that you had training to do which I believe was a lie?"

Valka says "dear, he had a bad day and been hiding in the stables all day."

Five minutes later, a knocking on their door interrupted the silence.

Stoick opens the door to see Astrid standing there with Fishlegs and ask "is Hiccup here?"

Stoick smiles "yes, he is, princess Astrid."

Astrid sternly replies "tell him I want to see him now!"

Valka walks to the door and says "princess Astrid, I don't think Hiccup wants to see any member of your family right now."

Astrid scowls "what did my brother tell him for him to walk off without telling me that he had training?!"

Valka bends down to her eye level and says "your brother threaten him to the point where he doesn't want to see any of your family members."

Astrid gasped "my brother threaten him?"
