Chapter 2: Two Groups of Heroes One Monster Attack
Sun and the others find themselves seeing a giant blowfish monster attacking the city. The people living there are screaming in a panic as they run for their lives. The blow fish monster begins to destroy the buildings and crush everything in its path.
"What in tarnation is that thing?!" Applejack exclaims.
"It's some kind of monster!" Rarity says, frightened.
"And it's a big one, but I don't sense any Equestrian Magic coming from it," Sun says.
Rainbow then activates her geode and then gains her wings, pony ears, and long ponytail.
"Well, I say we go turn that giant fish into sushi," Rainbow says, and flies off.
"Rainbow, wait!" Sun calls out.
But Rainbow is already flying towards the monster at full speed. She then confronts the monster with anger.
"Hey you giant blowfish, get out and lever those people alone!" Rainbow says. Then kicks it in the face.
The monster only feels a slight pain. But then growls as it glares at Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow nervously laughs and says, "Um… sorry…"
The Blowfish monster roars at Rainbow and blows her away. Sun and the others become shocked to see Rainbow is being blown right towards her. Soon, Rainbow crashes into them like bowling pins and they crash into the ground.
"Good going, Rainbow Dash," Applejack replies with a groan.
"I didn't see you try anything!" Rainbow says, annoyed.
"Anything is better than just simply charming at it," Rarity says.
Wallflower looks up and is looking scared, "Um guys, I think Rainbow made it really angry."
The others turn their heads to see the Blowfish monster is walking right towards them.
Sun turns to her friends, "Guys, we need to stop this monster before it destroys the city, and to make sure it doesn't crush us or anyone else."
"Then it's hero time!" Rainbow shouts.
Sun, Rainbow, Rarity, Applejack, Sonata, and Wire Wolf activate their geodes and transform, outfit, ears, tails and all. Wallflower can't get over how amazing it is to see them transform like this.
Sun turns to Wallflower, "Wallflower, you need to get somewhere safe until you stop the monster."
"Um, okay," Wallflower says. Then hurries off to find a place to hide.
"Come on guys, let's go," Sun says.
The group then begins to fly in the air and head towards the monster. Unknown to them, they are secretly being spied on by the same being who has before.
The being says in a male yet shows a female like voice, "They'll be arriving soon, and then… the real game begins."
Back in the park, the monster continues to go on a rampage as Sun and the others fly overhead.
"Alright, we need to stop this monster and protect the people of this town. Rarity, Applejack, and I will do what we can to get everyone out of the way. Wire Wolf, I need you to lead the assault with Rainbow, and Sonata," Sun says.
"Got it," Wire Wolf says.
"Then let's do it," Rainbow says.
Rainbow, Wire Wolf, and Sonata take to the sky to fight the monster while Sun, Rarity, and Applejack fly down close to the ground to save the people around them. Wire Wolf and the girls arrive where the monster is.
Wire Wolf turns to the girls, "Sonata, see if you can gather some water around the monster and freeze it in its tracks."
"Alright, but I need to find a good water source… right?" Sonata asks.
Rainbow points to a fire hydrant, "There's a good one over there."
"Right," Sonata says.
Sonata focuses her magic on the fire hydrant as it begins to shake and rattle. Soon, water begins to spray out of the hydrant. Sonata then controls the water and uses it to circle around the monster. Then changes the water into ice to stop it in its tracks. The monster roars as it tries to break free from the ice.
"I don't know how long it will hold," Sonata says, concerned.
Wire Wolf then brings out his hands and turns into robot claws, "I'll care of it."
"I'll help create a diversion for that thing," Rainbow says.
Rainbow Dash flies to the monster and begins to spin dash it from different areas. Wire Wolf begins to dive down to the monster as Rainbow sees him and stops her attack. Wire Wolf presses his claws on the Blowfish's body and begins to get electrocuted.
Meanwhile, down on the street, the people of the city begin to scream and panic. A young woman falls on the ground and a large street pole begins to fall towards her. The woman screams and shields her eyes in fear, but the attack never happens. She looks up to see Applejack holding on to the pole.
Applejack turns to the woman, "Hurry, you need to get away."
"Yes. And thank you," The woman says, and hurries off.
Applejack then places the pole back on the ground and searches for anyone else who needs help. Rarity uses her diamond to protect anyone from the falling debris and uses some of her glowing gems to guide everyone to a safety area. Sun then uses her geode, along with her magical bracelet to help out with his problem. She uses the Knuckles charms to knock the debris down along with the Tails charm to make tornadoes to clear the areas for everyone to escape too.
Suddenly, Sun hears someone crying and turns her head to see a little girl around five years old. Sun hurries to the little girl and picks her up in her arms. She then uses her geode to see her memories. The little girl has been shopping with her mother in the area until the monster attacks. As they run away, the little girl ends up being separated from the crowd and the little girl is lost. The little girl is so scared that she doesn't know what to do. She sees that her mother has blonde hair in a bun with blue color eyes, and wearing a pink blouse.
Sun hurries into the sky to find the little girl's mother. Meanwhile, the mother from the little girl's memories is searching for her little girl. She turns her head to see Sun landing on the ground with her daughter in her arms. She then places the little girl down, and she instantly runs to her mother.
The mother happily says in relief, "Suzy!"
She then hugs her little girl in relief.
She turns to Sun and says, "Thank you."
"You're welcome. You need to hurry and leave the area, my friends and I will handle this," Sun says.
"Yes," The mother says.
Little Suzy asks, "Mommy, the PowerPuff Girls are going to come, yes?"
"I'm sure they will, but it seems they have gained some help," The mother says as she hurries down the street with her daughters.
Confused, Sun says, "The PowerPuff Girls?"
Sun then hurries to where the monster is to see the gang has it all handled. Applejack and Rarity join her as they head toward the monster.
Rarity says, "We got everyone out of harm's way."
"And no one appears to have gotten hurt," Applejack says.
"Then all we need to do is deal with that monster," Sun says.
Sun and the others hurry to the others to see they have the monster cornered. Rainbow looks to see in case it decides to do anything funny.
Sun flies to Rainbow and asks, "How are you guys doing?"
"We're fine, we got this overgrown blowfish under control," Rainbow says.
"That's good, and we got everyone else to safety. The question is what to do with the monster now. I can tell that it's not influenced with Equestrian Magic, or any type of magic I'm familiar with," Sun says.
"So what do we do with that big fish?" Applejack asks.
"I don't know, but I don't think we can turn it into sushi or anything," Sonata says, still using her eye powers
The girls look at Sonata dumbfounded and disturbed.
"That's just gross, Sonata," Rainbow says.
"I really don't need that image in my head," Rarity says.
As the group talk, the Blowfish is electrocuted and frozen in its tracks. Suddenly, its eyes begin to glow green and then change to red. Just then, the monster is able to break out of the ice as it grows big, knocking Wire Wolf and Sonata out of the way and hitting the ground.
"Sonata!" Rarity exclaims.
"Wire Wolf!" Sun panics.
Applejack turns her head and panics, "Look out!"
The others turn their heads to see the Blow fish's fin diving right at them. Sun and the others quickly dodge out of the way.
"How did that thing grow so big?" Rarity asks.
"I don't know, but it's doing something else," Sun says.
The next moment, the Blow Fish monster takes a deep breath and blows out spikes from its body. The group begins to doge as some fly into the sky. Sonata and Wire Wolf are able to stand and quickly dodge out of the way as the spikes hit the ground. The gang continues to dodge the attack. Sun then tries to dodge the last spike, but ends up getting a scratch on her wing and begins to fall. Luckily, Sun is able to land on a building close by.
Sun sighs," That was close."
Suddenly, Rarity panics, "Sun, watch out!"
Sun turns around to see the monster throwing it's fin towards Sun from above, and the girl can't react in time. Sun shields her eyes and tries to activate her magic to attack that never comes. Sun opens her eyes and looks up and becomes shocked to see who has stopped the monster.
The being is a girl around five years old. The girl has long, fiery red-orange, waist-length hair . She is wearing a red bow on the top of her head and a heart-shaped hair-clip that can be seen from behind She wears a pink dress that has a black stripe in the middle with white tights and black Mary Janes. What shocked Sun is to see that a girl this young is able to hold off the fin. The girl turns her head to reveal herself having large pink eyes and a triangular part and bangs.
The girl asks, "Are you okay?"
"Um, yeah," Sun answers.
Then asks, "Who are you?"
"My name is Blossom, and thanks for holding this off until me and my sisters get here," The girl, Blossom says.
Suddenly, a sky blue, and light green stream of light appears and begins to attack the monster. Rarity and the others are shocked to see those two lights are actually two more five year old girls.
One of them has blonde hair in two bunches and a neat, curved fashion and sky blue eyes. Her dresses are sky blue with a black-centered stripe, white tights, and black Mary Janes. The second girl has black hair in a flip with a small triangular part on her forehead. She has lime green eyes and dresses in a lime green dress that has a black stripe in the middle of it, white tights, and black Mary Jane shoes.
Sun looks as she is astonished to see two more are the same age as the girl, Blossom. Suddenly, Sun remembers about the woman thinking she and her friends are allies.
Sun turns to Blossom and asks, "Are you the PowerPuff Girls?"
"Yeah. As I said before. I'm Blossom. And down there are my sisters," Blossoms says.
Suddenly, someone shouts, "Blossom, help me and Bubbles deal with this overgrown sushi!"
Sun says, "We better go help."
"Agree," Sun says.
Sun and Blossom fly off the building to fight the monster. Blossom continues forward, while Sun joins up with her friends.
Wire Wolf flies up and asks, "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Thanks to Blossom," Sun says.
"You mean one of those girls," Sonata asks, pointing to the fight.
"Woah nelly, those girls are fighting that monster," Applejack says, amazed.
"I know. They rock!" Rainbow says.
Sun says, "We'll worry about it later. Right now, we need to help them stop this monster that suddenly grew larger than normal."
"Then let's take the monster down!" Rainbow says.
Sun and her friends begin to join in on the fight. Rainbow, Applejack, and the girl with green eyes punch, kick, and fly around the monster seeing how it's being distracted. Sun, Rarity, Sonata, and Wire Wolf join with the two girls.
"Alright, we need to freeze that monster in its tracks or at least find a way to take the air out of it," Sun says.
"I can freeze it with my Ice Breath," Blossom says.
"You have an Ice Breath?" Sun asks.
"Yeah," Blossom says.
"Alright Blossom, you and Sonata can freeze the monster by the legs," Sun says.
"I see. That way we can knock air out of it," Blossom says.
Then turns to Rarity, "Can you use your diamonds to help hold it in place Rarity."
"Yes darling," Rarity says.
The three girls then head off to fight the monster. Sonata uses her magic to trap the Blowfish monster in water. Then Blossom uses her ice breath to help freeze the water as Sonata does the same. Rarity brings out her Diamond and uses them to help grab the monster by the fins. That causes the other to stop punching and kicking it.
"Alright everyone, together. We'll ram that Blow Fish in the stomach," Blossom says.
The girl with green eyes says, "Let's just beat this overgrown fish."
"Girl, you're speaking my language," Rainbow says.
Sonata and the girl with blue eyes giggle while Sun, Applejack, and Blossom roll their eyes in reply. The two groups then fly to the Blowfish monster together at full speed and ram it in the stomach. Soon, the Blow Fish monster begins to shrink down in size until it's as small as a toy car. The group then lands on the ground as they see the shrunk monster.
"Well, I guess that monster was taken care of," Sun says.
The girl with the green eyes says, "I'll take care of it."
The black haired girl then tosses the monster in the air then then kicks it over the horizon.
"Well, another monster bites the dust," The black haired girl says.
The blonde haired girl giggles and says, "And we have our new friends to thank."
She then flies to Sun and her friends with a smile, "You're all so pretty, and I like your pretty hair."
"Oh thank you darling. And I must say that you are so adorable," Rarity says.
"Aww. Aren't you all cute and bubble. You're like a cute mini apple pie," Applejack says.
The blonde girl giggle says.
"Enough talk. Who are you anyway? What kind of powers do you have? Where do you come from? Think you can show me some of your fighting skills?" The black haired girl says.
Blossom sternly says, "Buttercup, one question at a time."
"We'll introduce ourselves, but first, we need to find our other friends. She's in the park while we dealt with that monster," Rainbow says.
Soon enough, the group returns to the park and are able to find Wallflower. Once Wallflower is found and is safe, the group decides to introduce themselves.
"My name is Sonata," Sonata says
"I'm Rarity, darlings," Rarity says.
"Names Rainbow Dash, the coolest, most athletic girl of Canterlot High," Rainbow says.
Applejack says, "Yeah. My name is Applejack."
"Wire Wolf," Wire Wolf says.
"Hello, my name is Sun," Sun says.
"And I'm Wallflower," Wallflower shyly says.
"Yep. Our group is known as the Rainbooms. How about you three?" Rainbow says.
"Well, my name is Blossom," Blossom says.
The blonde girl happily says, "And I'm Bubbles."
"Buttercup," The green eyed girl says.
"We're the PowerPuff Girls!" The three add.
"The PowerPuff Girls, cool name. I think it's almost as cool as ours," Rainbow says.
"No way, our name is much cooler," Buttercup says.
"Alright you two, now isn't the time to start an argument," Applejack says.
Then Wallflower turns Sun, "I think she's right. This place doesn't look anything like Canterlot City."
"Canterlot City? What's that?" Bubbles asks.
"It's actually where we from, but we can tell this isn't it. Do you know where we are?" Sun replies.
"You're in Townsville," Blossom says.
"Townsville? I never heard of that city before," Rarity says.
Applejack groans, "Unless somehow we ended up in another world all together?"
Sun begins to think and remembers the strange pink mist from before. When the mist arrives, they end up falling asleep and suddenly waking up in Townsville.
Sun says to herself, "Unless we did, but not by accident."
Sun soon notices her friends and the three five year old heroines are looking at Sun with confused expressions.
"What's this about not being an accident?" Sonata asks.
"Yes darling, if you know something, you should include us," Rarity adds.
"Well, I know it's going to sound strange. A strange pink mist appeared out of nowhere and we were asleep. The next moment we woke up here and then a monster came out from nowhere. And when we were fighting the monster, it suddenly grew big in size. And now we find ourselves in a place we never heard or seen before. I'm beginning to think this isn't a coincidence. If this is a different world, then someone must have brought us here," Sun says.
"So what you're saying is that someone knocked us out and then teleported us here. And whoever did it sent that monster at us," Applejack says.
"Why? Who would do that?" Wallflower asks.
"I don't know, but it has to be someone who has a lot of power or magical abilities," Sun says.
"But who? We didn't see anyone when we were at the park. We only saw pink mist and we suddenly fell asleep," Rainbow says.
"Hmm, maybe the pink mist is some kind of trait from whoever has this magical ability," Sun says.
Buttercup turns her head and notices, "Hey, what's that over there?"
The group turns their heads to notice some kind of screen is attached to the tree. They all walk over to see what is on it. It has one column that has a picture of Sun and her friends and it shows that they have 3000 pts. The second column has the PowerPuff Girls photo with 2,500 pts.
"What's this? Some kind of score board?" Wire Wolf asks.
"Anyway, bet that means that the Rainbooms take the lead," Rainbow says.
"Rainbow, be serious about it. It's obvious someone set this up," Applejack says.
Bubbles then asks, "But what is it doing here?"
"I don't know, but I'm getting a very bad feeling about this," Sun says, worried.
Suddenly, the sky begins to turn into a bright red color catching the two groups' attention. Buildings, trees, and other stuff either turn red or pink. The gang look around to see what is happening. Sun and her friends begin to feel uneasy, while the girls show serious expressions. Unlike Sun and her friends, they have a feeling who is behind this. Their question is soon answered when pink smoke appears in front of them, and green glowing eyes begin to appear in the fog.
