Chapter 3: Fun and Villainous Games
The Rainbooms and the PowerPuff Girls stand in shock to see the pink smoke appearing out of nowhere and glowing green eyes appearing in the mist. Sun and her friends step back in concern while the PowerPuff Girls float in front. Wire Wolf then stands in front of Sun and has his arm set to attack.
The fog disappears to reveal the being from the fog that is shocking to Sun and her friends, but is given glares from the PowerPuff Girls. The being has skin of red with dark red claws, and black hair, pointed ears, pink circles on his cheeks as the being shows a grin on the face, and glowing green eyes. He wears a red outfit with a fluffy pink collar with pink frills on the bottom, a black belt with a yellow buckle and black thigh high boots.
In a mixture of a male and female's voice, the being says with an evil grin, "Hello girls."
The PowerPuff Girls gasp in shock, "Him!"
"So good to see you three again, and I see you already getting acquainted with this group of special beings," The being Him, replies, never lowering down his smile.
"So that monster attack was you're doing Him," Blossom sternly says.
"And you're the reason why that monster got bigger all of the sudden," Bubbles adds.
Buttercup demands, "What are you up to this time?"
"And what do you mean getting acquainted?" Wire Wolf asks.
"Well, I've been rather bored lately and I've grown weary of having a little fun. So I've decided to have a little fun with you," Him says.
"You call this fun?" Buttercup questions.
Sun then says, sounding displeased, "What do you mean a little fun?! Innocent people could have gotten hurt from that Blowfish monster's rampage!"
"Oh, and I thought you enjoy fighting these monsters with your magical abilities," Him comments with a grin.
"Not when innocent people end up getting hurt in the process. And how do you know my friends and I can do magic? Are you the one responsible for the monster attack and my friends and I being summoned here?" Sun firmly demands.
However, Him doesn't say a word.
Sun then demands, "Answer me!"
"You sure have an interesting personality to talk to me," Him says.
"That is not what Sun is asking," Rarity says.
Applejack then asks, "Yeah! Why do you drag us here and what's with that monster back there?!"
"That's what we like to know," Buttercup says.
"You can't just abduct them and expect them to go along with your games," Blossom says.
"Oh, but I'm sure you'll enjoy this game. You'll be playing into two teams. Each day, there will be a few events. There will be games that require the players to go solo, or to be teamed up. Only I'll decide what that will be. So who will win, the PowerPuff Girls and these magical teenagers, what do you call your band… the Rainbooms," Him says.
"Wait a minute, how do you know our band's name?" Sonata asks.
"Yeah. We never mention it," Wallflower adds, feeling nervous.
"Oh, I have my ways. Anyway, the team who earns the most points will win, and the Rainbooms will be sent back home," Him adds.
Applejack sternly asks, "And give us one good reason why we should go along with your game?"
"It's quite simple, if you don't play, let's say that you and your friends have a permanent stay here in Townsville," Him answers.
"What?!" Sonata asks, shocked.
"You can't do that!" Wire Wolf angrily says.
"Yeah. You have no right to trap us here," Rainbow angrily says.
"I believe I've already done it," Him remarks.
Rainbow grits her teeth, "Really hate this guy."
"Well then, I'll be off one. Hope you get a good rest for tomorrow's next game. Have fun." Him says with a grin.
But frowns and lets out a deep voice, "I know I will!" Then disappears in a puff of pink smoke.
Once he's gone, Sun and her friends are relieved, but exhausted about what has happened earlier. The PowerPuff Girls look to see the gang are falling to their knees in concern.
"That was too close," Sonata says.
"Yeah. That guy really creeps me out," Applejack says.
Buttercup says, "He creeps everyone out."
"Just who does this guy think he is?! Dragging us here so we can play some stupid game! I'm going to find that jerk and give him a piece of my mind," Rainbow says, and about to march off.
Sun grabs Rainbow's arm and says in concern, "Rainbow, I don't think you should be going up against this guy. Not on your own."
"What?! Give me one good reason why?!" Rainbow demands.
"Because we don't know much about this guy, and I don't think we're dealing with just any bad guy," Sun says, sounding deeply concerned.
"What do you mean?" Sonata asks.
"There's something different about this guy. He's not just powerful, he's evil. I saw the look he gave us. I can't help but feel this is more than just a game to him," Sun says.
"I'm surprised you're able to learn that just by looking at him. Many people are just too scared of him," Buttercup says.
"But I have to agree with Sun. What Him does can't be this simple as a game," Blossom says.
"Do you really think Him will let us leave once we're done?" Rarity asks.
"I don't know. There's still a lot I don't fully get. Why would he summon all of us to this world just to play a game? Second, he seems to know a lot about our strength and our magical abilities. He could also know a bit about our weaknesses. And why would he want us to be against the girls," Sun says.
"It is very strange. Anyway, I don't think we should trust him," Applejack says.
"I have to agree. I know he said that he'll let us go if we play and said he'll give us a prize if we win, but… there's something about him that…" Sun says.
She then shakes her head, "Ugh. Well, I don't like him."
Blossom flies to Sun and says, "Sun, you've got good instincts and it's good you pay attention to it. We need to keep an eye on him and see what kind of plan he's cooking."
"Until then, we should see what this game of his will lead us. Who knows what he's going to make us do," Wire Wolf says.
"We have to talk to the Professor," Blossom says.
"Who's that?" Wallflower asks.
"Professor Utonium. He's our dad and a brilliant scientist," Bubbles says.
"So we're going to get help from an Egghead," Rainbow says, rolling her eyes.
"Rainbow Dash?" Rarity sternly says.
"What?" Rainbow asks.
"Let's just go find this Professor Utonium and tell him what's going on and see if he can help us," Applejack says.
Those who can fly spread their wings and carry the others to the girls' home. Their house is a white house with a red door and three circle windows on the second floor.
"Your house looks very simple for you girls being super heroes," Wire Wolf says.
"I think it looks divine. Simplicity can be strong and effective," Rarity says.
The gang then walks into the house and soon meets the girls father. He's a tall man with black hair and wears a white lab coat, black pants and shoes.
Sun then says, "I'm Sun, and these are my friends, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Sonata Dusk, Wallflower, and Wire Wolf."
"Hello," Wire Wolf and the girls answer.
"Hello, it's very nice to meet you. The girls explained to me about uh, situation," Professor Utonium says.
"You can say that again. This bad guy dragged us here and doesn't plan on sending us back unless we play his little game," Applejack says.
"And if we refuse he'll never send us back home. We'll be trapped here forever," Rarity says.
"Yeah. I can't believe the jerk threatened us like that," Rainbow says, angrily and slams her fist on the palm of her left hand.
"We want to help them get back home, but Him expects us to compete against each other," Bubbles says.
"And we got a feeling there's more to Him's game than what he's letting on," Sun adds.
"That does sound like a problem. The best thing you can do is to play along with this game Him setup. As you all compete in this competition, you all need to figure out if he has anything sinister up his sleeve," Professor Utonium says.
"Yes professor," Everyone replies, agreeing with the idea.
Rarity then realizes something, "I just notice something. Where are we going to sleep?"
Then gasps, "What are we going to wear?!"
Sun and the others look at each other to realize Rarity has a point.
"You're right. Him didn't exactly give us a fair warning about bringing us here," Wire Wolf says.
"And the others must be worried about us," Applejack adds.
Then Sonata says, "And my sisters. They must be wondering where we are."
Buttercup rolls her eyes, "Yeah. That creep is always popping up out of nowhere and does something rotten to everyone in Townsville, especially to us."
"Sounds like this guy, Him is a real hand full," Rainbow Dash says.
"You got that right," Buttercup says with her arms crossed.
Blossom says, "Well as for living arrangements, you can stay with us."
"Yeah. We got plenty of room. The girls can sleep in our room," Bubbles says.
"I think our room might be too small for six teenage girls and one guy," Buttercup says.
"We don't mind sleeping in the living room, and maybe we can help you around the house," Sun says.
"Yeah. My granny always tells me that if you're staying at someone's home, it's good to earn the hospitality you received from it," Applejack says.
"I say we'll take up on your offer. We're going to be living in a house with real super heroes of this world," Rainbow says.
"I think it's cool how you saved the world, defeat evil monsters and villains, and help people in trouble," Sonata says.
Wallflower giggles, "Sonata, you all kind of do this on a daily basis."
"She's right," Rainbow says.
"And I'm sure Sun will be able to help us get through this. She and Twilight usually have a plan," Rarity says.
"Well duh, she is a princ…" Sonata says, but Sun quickly covers her mouth.
"A what?" The girls say, confused.
Sun sighs and says, "I suppose you're going to live here. You might as well know a bit about us. Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Wallflower Blush are high school students from Canterlot High. Only Rarity, Rainbow, and Applejack and three other human students have magical powers. Sonata Dusk and her two sisters were merponies from another world, but were cursed to become evil sirens. However, they now fight alongside us after the Battle of the Bands at our school. Wire Wolf was once an essences of a robotic werewolf until Equestrian Magic changed him into a human. As for myself, My official title is Princess Sunset Shimmer, one of the Royal Pony princess of a world called Equestria and Guardian of a Portal that links both the human world where I currently live and Equestria, the world I was born in where creatures you believed as myth are real and magic are one of our dominance source of our world."
She takes a few deep breaths after her explanation. The girls and the professor blink their eyes with confused expressions.
"You think I explained a bit too much to them?" Sun asks.
"Maybe," Rainbow answers.
Buttercup quickly says, "Wait wait wait wait wait! Let me get this straight, you're actually a pony and Sonata is some kind of pony like mermaid, and Wire Wolf is some kind of robotic wolf?"
Then Bubbles asks, "You're a princess?"
"You came from a different world from your friends?" Blossom asks.
Sun blushes and nods her head.
"That… is…" Buttercup calmly says.
Then cheers, "AWESOME!"
With that, the girls gather around Sun and the others and are very excited, especially about Sun.
Rarity giggles, "I think the girls are impressed."
"Well, it's not everyday a princess can fight and save the day," Rainbow says.
"You can say that again, and it's still embarrassing to be treated like a princess," Sun says.
Throughout the rest of the afternoon, Sun and the others are able to make themselves feel at him, and help the Professor with the cleaning. At the same time, The girls are helping Rarity and Applejack buy some clothes and groceries for dinner. Rarity also buys some fabric for material, luckily the girls have a sewing machine at their home. Everyone in the house also has a good dinner, dressed in their pajamas for the night.
Soon, it's night and the girls decide to sleep with Sun and her friends in the living room. Everyone has fallen asleep for the night, all except Sun. Sun can't help but think about the villain the girls are very aware of. She knows that things will be a lot harder knowing that this villain seems to know about what she and her friends can do. She worries about how he plans to challenge them with this elaborate game of his.
