'It's now early Feb, I guess. I really don't know how much longer I can handle this mission. Like, how many more connections ARE there?! No one will tell me anything. Either it's cuz they don't know, or they do know and…'
'Better stop myself there before I start rambling with conspiracy theories. Here's how the latest takedown happened…'
'This one was, believe it or not, a music store. With a huge basement.'
'I know what you're probably thinking. Was I going to go undercover as a musician? I thought so too, but I ended up being a janitor again. Don't ask why, I didn't have time to ask.'
'The mission was going okay, for a while. At some point, my gut started telling me something was wrong. I called my CIA buddy and told him what I was feeling, but he told me not to be so paranoid.'
'Sadly, that gut feeling ended up being right. Somehow, one of the crooks was tipped off, and as you can guess, it was chaos within minutes. I barely managed to avoid getting shot in the arm!'
'The victims were, not so lucky. We only managed to save 2 girls, there were 6 other bodies in the basement.'
'I was really annoyed. All of that could've been prevented if my buddy had listened to me.'
'As you can guess, we had an argument later on. It went on for a few minutes. I eventually told him I wasn't going to do the mission for much longer if I wasn't going to be taken seriously. He then said I couldn't leave because of how top secret it was. I then dropped a metaphorical bomb on him.'
'Before we left for the music store, I did some digging (with some help) about just how top secret the mission really was. And as it turns out, it wasn't the type of mission that fit the profile of 'top secret!' Other agents were getting to go home, while I was being told I couldn't.'
'I then told him that if the mission wasn't completed soon, I was going to go home whether he liked it or not. And that if he was more open to having outside help, the mission would've been completed months ago.'
'That really got him. He said I could leave any time I wanted.'
'I wanted to leave last night. Then my spy of sorts back home sent me something. It was a big photo of a candlelight vigil. And my agents were in the photo.'
'He said that a big explosion had happened at an old theater, and that they had found who did it.'
'I felt very proud of them. And, I decided to stay a little longer. But mark my words, I won't be staying here much longer. I miss home, and 2 of my agents are eventually going to get married, And I fully intend on being at that wedding!'
