Chapter 7: Intermissions of Both Worlds
Meanwhile, in Sun and her friends' home world, at Canterlot High. It's been two days since Sun and the others have disappeared. Twilight and the others search and search for Sun and their friends, but are unable to find them anywhere for the past few days.
Twilight says, "This doesn't make sense, Sun and the others were waiting for us at the picnic blanket as we were only gone for a few minutes."
"I have to agree. They just… disappeared without a trace," Falling Star says.
"No kidding. We've searched all over town and we tried calling them and they go straight to voicemail," Adagio says.
"It does seem rather strange. Even Wallflower have gone missing and their parents or the other friends she made haven't seen any of them around," Fluttershy says.
"Hmm, do you think it's possible that they just disappeared or they were abducted," Twilight says, as she thinks of the possibility.
"It could be. Something like this has happened before," Aria says.
"Aria's right. Remember when we ended up in the world where Buzz Lightyear and his team live, and the time Sun is sent to Cream and Cheese's home planet," Fluttershy replies.
"Don't forget that we go into Equestria every now and again," Falling Star says.
"You're right. However, it's hard to believe that they ended up in a different world, and probably a new world we haven't been sucked in yet," Twilight says.
"However, considering the line of life we ended up leading, that possibility cannot be ruled out," Falling Star says.
"You're right. But still, if they have been sent to a different world, why is it just them specifically, and not the rest of us, or not just Sun alone," Twilight says.
"A portal?" Fluttershy suggests.
"A magic spell," Pinkie adds.
"Or someone magical captured them and took them to whatever world they came from," Aria says.
"Those are good theories, but it's hard to know for sure, considering we weren't there when they disappeared," Twilight says.
"But who could have kidnapped our friends and why? Well, if they were kidnapped," Pinkie asks.
"If they were kidnapped by someone and was able to get them sent without us noticing, then we have to consider that whoever did it must be a powerful being," Adagio hypothesizes.
"But who could do something like that?" Fluttershy asks.
"That is something we need to find out. Of course, for now, we should worry about school and we can talk more after school," Twilight says.
Everyone agrees to the idea.
Falling Star turns to Twilight, "Do you think the others will be okay?"
"I'm sure Sun and the others will be alright. But still, I really hope we figure out what happened to them. Given what's been happening to us, I have a feeling they're in some kind of trouble and they'll have to rely on each other to get through wherever they ended up," Twilight says.
Twilight thinks, "I just hope they're not in real danger. I hate to think about what has happened to them."
Back in the PowerPuff Girls home world, in the girls' home, the Rainbooms and the PowerPuff Girls are laying in the living room looking tired. It actually has been two to three days since they play Him's games and they feel that they are unable to do anything to avoid having to play. In fact, they are actually getting tired of playing these games themselves.
Rainbow groans, "How much longer are we going to have to play these games. We've been stuck here for days now."
"Not that I'm complaining about being here, but I just wanna get back home," Applejack says.
"Me too. My family must be worried about me," Rarity says.
"Not to mention our friends," Sun says.
Rainbow says, "Still, we've been playing these games for three days now. Not to mention end up being jumped by villains of this place."
"I have to agree. We were attacked by some kid who has a bigger ego than how Glittering Sparkle acted," Sonata says.
Sun turns to Blossom and her sister, "Who did you say her name was, Princess Morbucks?"
"Yeah. She's an annoying girl who goes to our school and she always attacks us just because we won't let her be a PowerPuff Girl," Buttercup says.
"Well, she did act aggressive when she attacked us with her blasters, guns, and other methods," Wire Wolf says.
Then places his hand on his head, "Is she even old enough to use that stuff."
"Anyway. She just attacked us while Rainbow Dash and Buttercup were competing in this race around the world yesterday," Applejack says.
"Yeah. She's kind of a spoiled brat," Sonata says.
"Please tell us the villains aren't like her," Wallflower replies.
"Well, dealing with her seems a lot better than dealing with that pink behemoth, Fuzzy Lumpkins," Applejack says.
"Indeed. He did seem quite upset when we got near his home while we played that nature game. We had to search for flowers and trees and put them in an album," Rarity says.
Wallflower gulps nervously, "I didn't think it was so fun."
"Do not worry wallflower, you were with me and Applejack when we all grouped up for that event," Rarity says.
"I know, but he was so scary when he turned red and charged at us," Wallflower says, nervously.
"That is until he noticed Rarity and became a lovey dovey that he wanted to hang out with her," Rainbow says.
Rarity blushes and glares at Rainbow, "I thought we agree to never speak of it again."
"Jokes on you. I wasn't there during that agreement," Rainbow says, and begins laughing.
Rarity crosses her arms and turns her head away with a huff.
"When Sun and I paired up, we ended up meeting the Amoeba Boys. They well, didn't seem that much of a problem," Wire Wolf says.
"Well, their methods on wanting us and the girls to see them commit a crime, doesn't seem that crime worthy," Sun says, giggles.
Blossom says, "Alright, tomorrow is the last round of Him's games and we still aren't sure what he is planning. So far, all of us, including you have been attacked by monsters and villains in Townsville."
"It is kind of weird that we've been attacked, considering that we don't even know them," Sonata says.
"Yeah. And it's strange how crazy things have been happening to us since we got here. I don't know Him is cheating or anything, but it seems he is causing problems for all of us and having villains come and attack us, or make sure they are at the locations where we arrive," Sun says.
"You think Him is messing with the brackets?" Buttercup asks.
"Possibly. Plus, we know that this is Him we're talking about. It's obvious that he isn't going to make this easy for us," Blossom says.
"Maybe he wanted to make sure that we lose and the Rainbooms win the game," Bubbles suggests.
"Really? Then why have we been rising into monsters and villains that you're familiar with?" Sonata asks.
"Not to mention the other kinds of trouble like what happened in the pinball game," Applejack says.
"I think that he had to. It might look rather suspicious if the Rainbooms are the only ones who weren't running into trouble," Wire Wolf says.
"It definitely shows that he has something planned, but other than that, it's almost like he's just playing us," Buttercup says.
"But what do we do? The last round is tomorrow and all the teammates have to be there," Bubbles says.
"We'll just have to keep our eyes out and see what kind of trouble that will be sent to us." Wire Wolf says.
"Well, I'm for one am getting tired of these stupid games," Buttercup says.
"Me too. I love that we played a few sports, but I'm getting tired," Rainbow replies.
"I think we all are," Applejack says.
"I just hope we can figure this out before something happens," Blossom says.
"What could have happened?" Bubbles asks.
"I don't know, but I have a bad feeling something is going to happen and we're the ones who are going to be involved," Blossom says.
Sun turns her head to notice Wallflower leaving the living room and walks outside of the house. Sun follows her and walks out to see Wallflower sitting down on the front lawn as she holds a sad look on her face. Sun walks over and sits next to her.
She asks, "What's wrong Wallflower?"
"Sun, do you think I'm I don't know, good to be on your team?" Wallflower asks, feeling depressed.
"Why do you say that? You're as good a team member as anyone else," Sun says.
"I suppose, but I don't have any magical powers or anything like you, the others, and the PowerPuff Girls. I just don't know if I can do anything to help you," Wallflower says.
"Wallflower, you don't need magic or super powers in order to help us. My friends and I didn't use our magic to help out at first, and we still manage to save the day and such. You don't need superpowers or magical abilities to help others. Besides, you remember that our magic is something everyone one has, Friendship," Sun says.
Wallflower shows a smile and says, "I suppose you're right."
"Glad you think so, because we all need to be together when the final round takes place. We don't know what might happen, but we all have to work together," Sun says.
Wallflower nods her head in reply with a smile.
"Good. Let's go back and talk to the others. We got a lot to do before tomorrow's final event," Sun says.
"Right," Wallflower says.
The two girls then head inside to talk with the others. Unknown to anyone, especially for Wallflower, something in her pocket begins to glow a bright green color as the flower girl shows a smile to have good friends by her side.
