Winter and her group of soldiers rushed through the House of Schnee, trying to ignore the fleet of White Fang ships hovering over them. Her hand hovered over her sword as they left a corridor in the castle to the airfield. Beyond a field of concrete lay the hangar where Winter's personal ship was docked, and her father's far more extravagant vessel, "Quick, we have to prep my father's ship for takeoff."

The Atlesian soldiers nodded and they followed Winter's faster pace. She focused her vision on her father's ship, so much she didn't notice his approach. An explosion a stone's throw in front of them stopped Winter in her tracks. She looked up at the wall, where she saw a group of White Fang members looking down at her, led by two people who didn't look anything like Faunus, "You must be Winter Schnee! Fantastic ship you got!" he jumped down from the wall, his posse following suit, "Don't worry about anything bad happening to it. I'll make sure I don't ding her up too bad."

"You will not step one foot in that hangar, Torchwick," Winter drew her sword, "And I'm placing you under arrest."

Roman and Neo exchanged smug grins, "See, here's the problem with that. There's, one two three four five, Six of you! And there's," Roman turned around and looked at his company of White Fang soldiers before asking, "Hey, Perry. How many people we got here?"

Perry turned around and shrugged, "A lot."

"A lot!" Roman repeated, "Of us. And, no offense to your reputation. Don't think a no good criminal like me hasn't heard of the great Winter Schnee, commander of the Atlestian Miliaty, but. I don't think you hold a candle to yours truly, and my good friend Neo."

Neo bowed and signed to Winter, "Fuck you, you're going down, bitch."

Winter sneered, "Men. Secure Blizzard's vessel. I'll hold them off."

"Commander! You can't be serious?"

"That was an order, corporal. Besides, I've fought Grimm scarier than this prick," she glared at Roman.

Roman let out a breath of smoke as he watched the Atlesians run to the vessel, "Say, Perry. Why don't you and your White Fang friends, do what you do best, while me and Neo have some fun with the Schnee?"

Laughter swept through the White Fang. Roman grinned at Winter as she strategized means of keeping a whole army back herself. She split her sword into two and eyed both Neo and Torchwick. She heard a lot about him, but not much about this Neo. He seemed to have a lot of faith in this tiny woman, and so she would be prepared for her.

Perry took a step forward, adjusting his glasses while Winter stared all of them down. Roman puffed another cloud of smoke before throwing his cigar at the wayside. He aimed his cane at Winter and fired a blast. She dashed to her right, and the White Fang charged. Winter stabbed the ground, and a massive glyph appeared on the ground. Suddenly, dozens of birds appeared out of the snow and attacked the White Fang.

Among the screams of the Faunus, Roman and Neo kept their heads down. Roman rolled his eyes at his accomplice before shooting the summoned birds. Neo came forward and slashed them with her weapon Hush. When the birds disappeared, several White Fang men were down, but Roman still had an army behind him.

"Interesting, I'll say that. You know, you remind me a lot of your sister, Winter. And boy, is she a real pain in my ass," he saw her glare, "I can't wait to wrap this up, and pay her back big time!"

The moment he was waiting for. She rushed at him, swords raised, ready to strike him down, until Neo kicked her. She fell and rolled, resting on her back. Her swords were too far from her, and Roman Torchwick was squatting over her.

"Well isn't this just delightful! Perry! Go deal with the Atlesians!" he shouted, "Neo, you mind me borrowing your sword for a second. I'd like to take my time with this lovely lady."

"Go to hell," she reached for the ground to summon another glyph, but Neo was on top of her, aiming Roman's cane at her head.

"Easy there. Or I can make this last," he brushed Neo's blade along Winter's upper arms, "Much longer."

Neo's ears twitched and she looked up to the House of Schnee as bullets hit around them, "What the hell is that?" Roman demanded.

Neo and Roman scanned the castle rafters for the sniper, handing each other back their weapons. Neo looked at one of the batteries, being turned toward them. Her eyes widened and she pulled Roman away. From atop the battlements, Ruby had somehow managed to get inside one of the batteries, that while it was not functional for the Control Room, a name that three years ago was satisfactory, in today's climate was just not adequate, to the inside, Ruby found it functional, and was able to turn it toward the White Fang. Then, she loaded herself into the salvo, and fired herself at the air field. She drew her scythe and had it ready to slash at a dozen White Fang members, while her own impact knocked out a dozen more.

Ruby got up from the pile of knocked out White Fang members and shook her head, "Maybe Weiss should've come with me to tell me that was a stupid idea," she slurred. She saw Roman and Neo up ahead and transformed Crescent Rose into its sniper form and fired at the criminal.

Neo held up her parasol and blocked the bullets while Roman singed with anger, "That damn girl again. Here of all places!" Neo saw Winter getting up and picking her swords off the ground and alerted Roman, "One headache at a time, Neo," he muttered before approaching the Commander.

Ruby saw Roman walking toward the white-haired woman, "That must be Winter! I gotta save her," she dodged a sword slash from one of the White Fang and she quickly found herself surrounded by them. She transformed her gun into a scythe, and thought of a way to escape, until gunshots from the hangar started hitting the White Fang members. The White Fang directed their attention from Ruby to the Atlesians who had set up a perimeter to fight off the White Fang, "Thanks! I'll deal with you guys later! Now!" she charged toward Roman and Neo, transforming her weapon again. She jumped into the air and fired several rounds at Torchwick, which Neo blocked with her parasol. She landed by Winter and transformed Crescent Rose into a scythe.

Winter stared at the young girl, "Who, are you?"

"Oh hello! My name's Ruby Rose! I'm dating your sister! It's good to meet you!" Ruby smiled at her.

"Red," Roman spoke, "I've got a lot on my plate right now, so how's about you go out into the forest until you find a big bad Grimm that can eat you, and I can be rid of you forever!?"

Ruby put a finger to her head, "I don't think there are any Grimm around here."

Roman squeezed his fist, "Never mind. Neo, add this to the itinerary. We're killing two annoying girls tonight."

Neo grinned.

Ruby looked over to Winter, "So. Do you got a plan?"

"My plan was to get a ship running so I could get my father out of here," Winter explained, "Until he showed up."

"I meant, what's your plan for stopping him?"

"He got a good hit on me. I'm just trying to slow him down. But with all those White Fang here. This might be lost," Winter lamented.

Ruby took note of the wide area and remembered seeing the glyphs Weiss used by Winter, "You can make Glyphs right?"

"Yes, why?"

Ruby grinned at Roman and Neo, "Can you do that?"

Winter grinned as well, and summoned two glyphs, one in the center of the airfield, and one underneath Winter. She kneeled down while Ruby prepared for a sprint. Roman raised an eyebrow, until Ruby rushed past him and Neo. Roman stumbled before glaring at Winter.

"What the hell is she doing?" Roman demanded.

Neo noticed the glyph under her and signed, "What are you doing?"

"Anchoring myself,"

Roman tilted his head in confusion, until Neo pulled on his sleeve and pointed at their nemesis, "Are you fucking kidding me?" Roman couldn't believe his eyes.

Ruby's semblance had activated, and she was running in circles. Very. Very. Fast. So fast, the wind was picking up with her. So fast that White Fang members nearby were starting to float in the air.

"Kill that damn girl!" Roman tried shouting, as he blasted shots at her, but the wind carried his bullet back to the castle wall.

Ruby was turning into a blur of pure red and the wind was reaching beyond what a gale could ever do. Winter's glyph held onto her for dear life while Roman, Neo, and the White Fang were pulled into a tornado started by Ruby Rose. The Atlesians could only stare at disbelief while they held down Blizzard and Winter's vessels.

Roman and Neo found themselves at the peak of the tornado. Ruby allowed herself to twist around the tornado until she herself was at the top. She looked over the horizon, where she saw Yang and Adam dueling it out. As soon as she stopped her semblance, Winter's glyph deactivated and the tornado dissipated.

Roman, at the peak of his height met Ruby, "I hate you so much, Red."

"Likewise," Ruby said, when she kicked Roman in the guy and aimed Crescent Rose at the sky. She fired her rifle propelling her down. She fell faster than Torchwick, and she activated her semblance once more, reaching the ground faster than Roman and the rest of them. He fell on the ground with a thud, and then he looked up at his men, coming to join them. Ruby's semblance had brought them up with a tornado, and now it had brought them down, on Roman Torchwick. First it was Neo who fell on him, then Perry, and finally the rest of the White Fang until it was just a huge pile of Faunus Terrorists and one angry fedora tipper.

Winter stumbled over to Ruby, "That was very impressive, Miss Rose."

Ruby rubbed the back of her head, "Heh, it's nothing."

"Weiss has spoken to me about you before. She said you were their team leader, yes? If so," she combined her swords and sheathed them, "I have no need to worry for Weiss."

Just as Winter said that, the House of Schnee rumbled and from one of the towers, a giant fist of white aura punched through the walls, "Hold that thought, Miss Winter. I think that might be Weiss. Um, are you gonna come help?" she asked just before running back to the castle.

Winter stared at the giant fist as it disappeared. She regained her composure and shook her head, "I'm afraid not. I have to get reinforcements. Maybe even get General Ironwood back from Vale, but like I said," Winter said as she turned to her vessel, "With you by her side, I have nothing to fear."

Ruby smiled and nodded, as she ran toward the castle.

Kept you waiting huh
