Weiss and Blake were running down the halls, climbing up stairwells, hiding away from the odd Atlesian Knight while they heard the sounds of battle from outside. Sometimes they would look out a window and see Qrow and Adam's duel in the courtyard, or one of the White Fang's ships hovering above the area like a vulture.

Yet throughout all of this, they held each other's hands, as they came closer to Weiss's father. Blizzard Schnee. Once everything went to hell, he boarded himself up in his smoking room, in one of the tallest towers of the House of Schnee. A room, according to Weiss, he holed himself up in frequently, and for great lengths of time.

Weiss and Blake weren't guiding each other. It was like they were sharing information with each other. The slightest movement in direction, Blake would follow, and any change in speed, Weiss would adjust.

Weiss squeezed her hold on Blake's hand, and she noticed. She gradually stopped and looked over at Weiss, "There's something on your mind. What is it?"

She looked away from Blake, but her hold never left her hand, "I'm scared."

Blake forced a laugh, "You've come hundreds of miles across the world, and now you're scared?"

Weiss forced a smile of her own as she shook her head, "None of that scared me."

"Then what is it?"

Weiss looked up toward the ceiling, "I've seen my father furious. But he wasn't ever angry with me. Until, I told him that I wanted to be a Huntress."

Blake nodded, "Was it bad?"

"I wanted to cry. But I stood my ground, and. He relented. He didn't accept it, he just relented. It wasn't a battle worth fighting. He couldn't change it but, he wouldn't accept it," Weiss's hand felt her rapier, "Blake. I'm going to face him, and I'm going to make him accept me for who I am. Even if I have to beat it into him."

Blake smiled and put a hand on her shoulder, "I'll be with you every step of the way."

"No. This is something I have to do on my own. This is my fight, Blake,"

She blinked at her, but she nodded, "I understand," the castle shook from recoil, "Well, you better get this done quick."

"Trust me. It'll be over in a minute," Weiss said, looking ahead. She gripped Blake's hand and led her up the tower, until they were at a pair of doors. Weiss looked at the handle and knew it was locked. That wasn't going to stop her. She drew her rapier and cast Fire Dust on the door, blowing them off their hinges. Before the dust could settle, Weiss took one last deep breath before she let go of Blake's hand and walked inside her father's smoking room, "Father. I want to have a word with you."

Blake wasn't familiar with smoking rooms, and she had very little idea what to expect. She wasn't expecting a massive hall with towers of bookshelves adorning the walls and a glass wall. Furniture was sparse, save for a couch in one corner, and a single rocking chair in the center, where smoke rose from its seat. She watched the occupant rise from its chair, and saw how it was him. The man considered an enemy by not just the White Fang, but all Faunus. Jacques "Blizzard" Schnee, "Weiss. You blew up my doors," he sneered at her, then he went to his stand and drank the rest of his glass of whiskey, "I thought you were those White Fang mongrels. But I still have time. Any luck, and Winter will have my vessel ready for takeoff."

Blake raised her eyebrow, "You're pretty stupid for a CEO. You don't think the White Fang could shoot you down?"

When he lay his gaze down upon her, she could feel the fury overflowing. He dropped his glass, and it shattered on the floor, "Weiss. I've wanted to know for some time now, what you think you're doing, associating with a filthy Faunus!"

Weiss looked back at Blake. Whether it was to see if Blake was ok, or if she needed reassurance, Blake nodded at Weiss, and she glared up at her father, "This woman, that you kidnapped. She is my teammate."

Blizzard rolled his eyes, "That pinhead! To think he would allow a mongrel the same living space as a Schnee! The next time I see him I'll."

"Shut up!" she cut through the air, "Father," she spoke up before he could protest, "You're going to shut up. And listen to me for once in your life. Got it!?" he narrowed his eyes, and gave her his full attention, "This woman is Blake Belladonna. She is a Faunus. She is my teammate, and we've fought together and saved each other's lives more times than I can count. And, she is my partner."

Blizzard's eyes practically bulged out of their sockets. And he directed all of his rage at Blake, "YOU ANIMAL?! YOU DARED-

"I WASN'T FINISHED!" Weiss screamed, her hand brushing Myrtenaster, "I love her, father. And I came all this way, just to save her. But that's a lie," she gave one fleeting glance to Blake, "I came here to make you understand who I am. I am Weiss Schnee. I am a Huntress, I am the Pride of the Schnee family and one day I will hold the reins of the Schnee Dust Company, and I am the love of Blake Belladonna's life."

Blizzard's nose was flared, he clenched his fists, and he stared down his own daughter. His gaze shifted onto Blake, and he studied how she watched his daughter. He realized then, just how important they were to each other.

And it sickened him, "It's worse than I thought. You've been away too long, Weiss. But don't worry. You'll be safe up here," he walked away from his chair to a display of weapons on the opposite end of the room. His hand felt the hilt of a claymore adorned with white jewels. He pulled it off its display and pointed it at Blake, "As for you. An animal like you! Deflowering my daughter! I'll have your head for that!"

He charged at Blake, not like how Weiss did with her semblance. She remained calm and studied his movement, and prepared to dodge his attack. But Weiss intercepted and hit the blade of his sword with her own, throwing her father off balance.

Blizzard regained his balance and glared at his daughter, "Weiss! What do you think you're doing?!"

"If you can't understand what I'm doing, or who I am," she pointed her rapier at him, "Then I will have to make you."

He held his sword low, "You dare strike your own father? Has this Faunus tainted your mind so foul?!"

Weiss shook her head, "Your mind is foul, father. Do you really think I'll let you hurt my friends?!"

He charged, and Weiss met him head on. He swung his sword and Weiss blocked it with both of her hands. She staggered, but held her ground. He was stronger than she thought, but she could handle him, "Once this is over, Weiss. I'll have to spend a long time correcting these mistakes of yours! And when it's all over, you'll forget about that filthy animal!"

She pushed his sword back and went to thrust, but he blocked her attack. To Blake's shock, Blizzard stood on equal ground with Weiss in terms of swordsmanship. He could hold his claymore like a fencing rapier, and its weight did little to hamper him. Blake watched as Weiss dashed toward her father, but every time, he would deflect her attacks and send her back. And all Weiss could do when Blizzard attacked was dodge and deflect.

"Your time at Beacon Academy has done little for your fencing, Weiss. You couldn't beat me in a match before, and you can't beat me now,"

He swung his sword at her, and she didn't move. A glyph appeared in front of her, and blocked his attack, "I just remembered. You married into the Schnee family!" she grinned, a yellow glyph appeared under her feet, and she zipped past her father, leaving a nasty cut on his side, "You never had our semblance!"

She dashed toward Blizzard again, though he clashed with her rapier. Just as he was about to slash again, he found his sword frozen to the ground. A good distance away from him, Weiss was kneeling before she cast a wave of Fire Dust at him. The explosion shattered all the glass in the room and left a crater in the floor. It threw Blizzard across into one of his bookshelves, where he laid on a pile of fallen books.

Weiss and Blake slowly approached him, "Now, father. I hope we've reached an understanding. I am going to live my life as I see fit, and there's nothing you can do, except watch and support me," she declared while sheathing her rapier.

Blizzard tried getting out of his pile of books and even leveraged himself on his sword, that had broken out of the ice after the explosion, but he fell over on his stomach. Blake smiled and came down to his eye level, "And just so we're clear, Schnee. I bagged your daughter, and I took her V Card."

He snarled at her while she walked away with Weiss, "You know you didn't have to say that to him, he already knew."

Blake shrugged, "Yeah, but I thought deflowering was way too proper. Like, we can't say to JNPR that I deflowered you, right? We would say I fucked you."

"But you said, you bagged me! That's even worse!"

"No, it's worse for a parent to hear it than it is for a friend to hear it. Unless that friend wanted to bag you. Like, Jaune. Or Neptune?"

"I would rather not, and," Weiss turned her head just as they left the room. She saw her father standing behind them, about to strike at Blake. There was no time to warn Blake. She couldn't dodge in time. If she hadn't sheathed Myrtenaster, then maybe she could have used her glyphs. No. There was only one thing she could do.

Weiss pushed Blake out of the way with her left arm. Blake fell to the ground and could watch the blade cut through her flesh. And she could hear it happen. Her ears heard the crunch of bone, and the burst of blood.

Her arm fell to the ground. A flow of blood quickly ran dry onto the floor. It spasmed and twitched, and the fingers clawed the air. The arm quickly went quiet, as Weiss screamed in pain. She squeezed her left shoulder, desperately stopping the bloodflow.

Blizzard stepped backwards. His mouth hung open and he stared at his own sword, still drenched in his daughter's blood, "W-Weiss? Why? Why did you, defy me? You?"

He found himself thrown across the room by Blake. She kicked him in the chest and she drew Gambol Shroud, transforming into a pistol. She fired at the Schnee bastard. Some of the bullets grazed Blizzard and he hid behind a couch.

"What kind of monster are you?! Attacking your own child?!" she transformed her gun into a katana and drew her sheath, "You have no right to call any of us monsters, Schnee. You're the monster."

The couch he hid behind was thrown toward her. But Blake stood her ground and cut through the furniture with her sword. Then she saw Blizzard charging toward her with his sword raised. He cut through her, and briefly thought he killed the Faunus, but her body disappered and felt two slashes across his chest.

Blake slashed him twice with her weapons before dashing backwards. She glared at the Schnee, "This doesn't change anything, Faunus. Because of you, my daughter has lost an arm!" he yelled, pointing at Weiss.

"Are you insane?! How can you think that?! You're the one who cut it off!"

"Shut up! None of this wouldn't have happened if it weren't for you!"

"Blake," they both looked to Weiss, standing on her feet, her left side drenched in blood, and her left hand holding her wound, "I said. Before we came here. That this was, my fight. And. That hasn't changed."

"But, your arm,"

"Weiss, please don't exert yourself. Get some rest," the only time Blake ever heard him sound like a father."

Weiss's arm slowly came down to her side, "Don't worry. I've never felt so powerful," she took a deep breath and raised her fingers. A glyph appeared, on Weiss's wound. She screamed in pain, but she stood her ground. She panted and pointed up with her fingers. The glyph spun, and from it, a massive being of white light came forth. Neither Blake nor Blizzard could make out its shape, but as more of it came forth, they could see it as the arm of a giant, "Do you remember what I said, Blake?" the arm pulled back and its hand formed the shape of a fist, "This would be over in a minute."

Blizzard watched in awe as the giant fist came forward. It was only at the last second did he realize it was about to punch him. He rolled out of the way just in time, and saw the giant fist destroy his entire wall.

The arm disappeared and Weiss stumbled forward. Blake came to her side and helped her stand upright, but Weiss waved her away, "This isn't over," she spied her father's sword, "Can you throw that toward me?"

Blake nodded and picked up the claymore. She looked at Weiss unassuredly, before she threw the sword at her. Weiss's glyph spun again, and from it came a giant crab claw. The claw grabbed Blizzard's sword, and broke it with one pinch.

"W-Weiss? That. That was an heirloom!" Blizzard groaned and coughed.

The crab claw disappeared, "I've heard enough from you, father," Blizzard watched the glyph spin once more, and from it, eight massive tentacles burst forth. They were thicker than Weiss's body, and were as tall as the room, yet Weiss held them up like they were nothing. Weiss narrowed her eyes, and the tentacles came down on Blizzard.

Each one felt like a building crashing down on him. They rose and crashed down on him so quickly, that the pain didn't reach him at first, but he would feel it. The weight of the tentacles was bringing down the bookshelves and the stone of the rooms wall and ceilings, all on a pile on top of Blizzard.

Weiss ceased her beat down on her father, and the tentacles disappeared, along with her glyph. She stumbled again, and had Blake help her up, "How did you do that?"

Weiss shook her head, "No idea. The idea just came to me. She looked over to her arm, "Can you hand that to me?"

Blake nodded and gently rested Weiss's arm in her hand. With help from her girlfriend, Weiss confronted her father. He was barely conscious, but he still breathed. He registered Weiss's approach and glared at her. Weiss in turn, just looked down at him. She tossed her arm at the rubble, "You might have given me life. But you are not my father."

"Weiss," he wheezed, tears falling from his face.

Weiss didn't bother listening to whatever else he had to say. She left on her own. Blake gave one last look at him and turned away. She followed Weiss, and left Blizzard alone to wallow under his shame.

His only reprieve from his shame, was the pillar of yellow aura erupting from the courtyard.

A/N sorry this update took so long, lol
